Basically what the title says. Matt loses his home and assumes Foggy and Karen are done with him so goes to living on the streets, pretty much solely being Daredevil. Foggy eventually finds out and helps him put his life back together.

+1 if Foggy tries to mend their friendship before he finds out and Matt tries to hide his sitauction

Foggy and Karen and Claire assume Matt doesn't reach out because he's selfish/a liar. In reality, it's because he's clinically depressed. When he's cut off from everyone he decides he's not doing the world any good and decides to end it - someone stops/finds him before it's too late. Would love that + the fallout!

Matt collapses during Court

So what if instead of being late for court, Matt tries his damndest to get there on time, even resorting to parkouring just to get there. And he does, arriving minutes before he's due to present his opening statement.

He manages not to screw up, gives one hell of an opening that wows the crowd, Foggy and Karen are relieved, the jury looks to be on their side. And then he punctuates his last sentence by collapsing and bleeding out on the floor due to reopening wounds and stressing his injuries on the way over.

+ Matt claims it's from a mugging on the way there and the media decide to blow it out of proportion (If the Punisher was on the streets, would crimes like these still be happening? Did Nelson and Murdock arrange this to garner sympathy? Are anti-Punisher advocates or criminals trying to assassinate the partners of the law firm?)
+ Foggy berating Matt for being so careless
+ Karen finally confronting Matt and not letting him leave her sight because Foggy and Karen needs him right now and she doesn't care if he's an alcoholic or in some fight club he needs to do his job.

As more vigilantes appear word gets around that Det. Sgt. Mahoney is clean and trustworthy. So clearly he's the one to drop off caught criminals. When heroes are needed authorities go to him to establish contact.

Bonus: instead of a bat signal like Batman he has a Daredevil sound caller.

I really just want to see what would happen? I mean on one hand they don't exactly disagree on methods, but on the other Frank would most certainly take issue with the whole training children thing that Stick has going. What kind of (darkly sarcastic) conversation might they have?

(Also I would definitely not mind Frank/Matt if anon wants to bring that in)

While I like that they did have Punisher show up for the final fight and did the whole rooftop acknowledgement moment, I'd like to see how it would go if Frank got to contribute more than one shot. So what happens if he shows up earlier?

Not necessary, but bonus for:
- mid-battle introductions (and snark) with Elektra
- Frank shotting to incapacitate instead of kill out of respect for Daredevil
- Frank bitching about all the ninjas, because what the shit? Was there a fucking discount at party city? Do they grow them in the sewers or what?
- All of them just generally being badass and working surprisingly well together
- Any ot3 or pre-ot3 moments

In which Frank totally recognized "Red's" voice at his trial, but doubted himself because how could a blind man be Daredevil? And then the final scene of Episode 13 happens and oops, Matt lost his mask. I want the aftermath, the "oh hi hello!" scene we were cheated out of.

Would he go back to Matt's apartment while Daredevil was still out on his patrol and then when he gets back find him waiting. Would kinky time commence? Perhaps Dom!Frank and Sub!Matt? Obviously after an argument or something or maybe some angst because Matt is taking out his anger and pain over Elektras death and Frank knows if he doesn't stop him Daredevil is gunna kill someone. SO MANY IDEAS.

Frank/Matt -- "Red"; pet names

I thought it was so interesting how Frank kept calling Daredevil "Red" thoughout the season. I don't know, he really just didn't initially seem to be the kind of guy to give people nicknames, or at least affectionate ones. I'd really love to see scenes post-S2 in which Frank keeps calling Matt "Red". (And then, once their wonderful and inevitable relationship happens [pls], he sstrts to use even more pet names!)

Bonus if Matt starts to get a thrill from hearing those names--not just for kinks, but because of the emotional weight behind them. Nicknames/pet names can come from a deep, serious place of affection and love, and Matt could really use some love and a sense that someone cares for him after this season.

Occasionally, the Punisher is the one who feels he needs to be punished and sometimes Karen needs to feel like she's in control of something in her life. The dom/sub arrangement works out well for both of them.

And part of the reason Frank's been so unhinged (besides all the OTHER shit in his life) is that he's been dom- less since she died. Letting bruised and minor cuts go untreated only works so far.

IMO its incredibly ooc for both of them (Logan is flawed but not like THAT, and why does Frank care what he thinks???)

But I'm a huge hypocrite because I want a fic about this.

Frank doesn't give a fuck about other people's sexual preferences (as long as everyone involved is a consenting adult) but he is very ashamed of his own bisexuality.

Matt finds out, and what happens next is up to the author :)

Matt seriously just needed to communicate with Foggy more this season or at the very least keep Foggy up to date on his night work to keep Foggy informed and safe.

So could we possibly get Matt talking to Foggy about Elektra's death because he shouldn't be suffering grief alone (and yeah, he's got Stick but Stick's still a dick) and Foggy comforting his best friend?

Yes! What if he finds out through Karen or someone at Josie's that Matt is severely depressed or Daredevil disappears of the streets for weeks because Matt can't get himself out of bed, Foggy wouldn't know this and would probably think the worst has happened.

It would be awesome if when Foggy tries to visit Matt refuses to let him in and he gets like a key off Claire or something and she talks about matts mental stability and just how important Foggy is to Matt.

Can someone please do this, pleeeeaaaase.

Karen/Matt/Elektra and Matt/Frank/Karen, mirroring love triangles and Bullseye!Karen

Very specific prompt, I know, but Karen as Bullseye is something I've seen floating around as a concept for a while and been intrigued by ever since.
I also really liked that the love triangle between Matt, Karen and Elektra was less about Matt having to choose between two love interests and more about him having to choose between the two parts of his life, Matt Murdock and Daredevil. I thought they were going for a similar thing when they threw Frank into the mix and had him bond with Karen ... (It wasn't explicitly romantic, but man, do I ship it.)

So yeah, let's combine this into a story about Karen's struggle between trying to be a good, law-abiding citizen and her growing obsession with vigilante justice. With her eventually becoming the person behind the trigger again.

Matt and Frank have fallen into this weird friends with benefits arrangement that neither of them seems quite willing to give up on. As it goes on, Matt starts trying to indulge his masochistic tendencies in progressively more obvious ways: first by choosing the roughest brick walls to let himself get pushed up against, then understating the actual degree of his injuries when Frank asks if he's okay to do it, and so on. Frank doesn't really notice. But soon enough, Matt starts needing it harder. He asks Frank to hurt him better.

The problem? Frank Castle is a lot of things, but a sadist is not one of them.

I imagine that Daredevil was already wounded from something before hand so when the gang got the jump on him he didn't stand a chance or maybe he got drugged and that's why he couldn't fight back.

When it's all over Frank would just kneel down and scoop him up in his arms and carry him to one of his safe houses and cuddle up with Matt and wrap him in lots of blankets, get some food in him and maybe play him some relaxing music while he plays with his hair after cleaning his wounds so that he can get Matt to calm down and sleep.

+1 if matt is still half out of it when frank looks after him and says some random stuff about not being able to see and frank being all confused about it and matt explains about his past and abilities.

Fisk starts destroying Foggy's life first

And given how Matt and Foggy are not in the best terms. Matt finds out when it's almost late.

What things will Fisk do to change Foggy's life for the worst.
One kill here or there. He starts to drag Foggy's name to the mud.

Gwen Is Universe Hopping In Search Of Murdocks

So Spider-Gwen is hopping universes on a mission to get back home. The only way she can trigger the next jump is to find that world’s Matt Murdock, follow him around a bit, and then wait for the next portal to pop up somewhere in his vicinity so she can leave. Because reasons.

She’s done this enough times that she has a strategy now. She doesn’t bother hunting Murdock down directly anymore, because that has proved to be a very risky proposition in the darker universes. Instead, she makes the smart choice. She looks for Foggy Nelson.

She tries to gauge what their relationship is like, if they’re enemies or friends or lovers, if the firm is still around, if they’re talking to each other or ignoring each other or if they ever met at all. Because the worlds may be different in hundreds of ways, the sky may be green, the Spider may be a talking pig, but the one universal constant is this -

If Foggy Nelson is not in his life, then Matt Murdock is an absolute dick, falling somewhere along the spectrum of ‘asshole’ and ‘catastrophic mess of a human being.’ He’s just not good. For himself or anyone else. And it just makes her life easier (and safer) if she can get a feel for how much of a pain in the ass that world’s Murdock will be before she tries to engage him to help find the portal.

Ultimately she ends up in this Matt’s world. And she’s not impressed with him. At all.


Bonuses -

— The portal always shows up around Murdock and she doesn’t know why, but she suspects it has something to do with the Evil Murdock in her own verse and maybe why she’s on this ridiculous journey to begin with.

— There were a couple universes where Matt and Foggy were actually married, and oh my God, she almost cried, because Murdock was very nearly sane in those ones.

— There are universes that she does not like remembering at all. These mostly involved Foggy either being dead or in the mob.

I don't mind cliches. I want to read punisher shoving daredevil into a wall and having his way with him, (bottom!daredevil please) I would love it if there was just little bit dub-con, but on the mild side

So, in that scene in episode 5 with the knives and the cheese, I was really struck by this exchange (slightly summarized):

Elektra: And we'll get married and be rich and glamourous and cosmopolitan and rich...

Matt: And we'll have kids?

Elektra: ...Yeah, I suppose we could use some kids for tiny house-slaves.

So now I just want an exploration of Matt's deeply hidden desire to have children someday in the future, how that informs his romantic relationships and his approach to his crimefighting. Maybe he imagines that he'll stop Daredeviling on the day that his first child is born. Maybe he vets potential romantic partners from their reactions towards children. Maybe part of the reason he's so moved by Frank's graveyard story is because the first part sounds so similar to what he wants for himself.

tl;dr I just want any headcanons you can think of where Matt dreams of having children one day.

Oh my gods, Matt as a father is a weakness. I just have so many feelings about this, including him growing to believe it's not gonna happen/he wouldn't be good anyway, especially since he became Daredevil.
