Full-Blown War w/ the Hand AU?

The Hand is in all-out war against the city. The Chaste is the only line of defense, but no one knows who they are plus they're as scary as the Hand is.

Foggy and Karen make unlikely friends with one of the Chaste's soldiers. Matt, who was basically raised with Elektra as a child soldier.

Pokemon AU The sequel

In order to continue to discuss spoilers for season 2.

And oh boy, this season, where to even start... Well first, Frank and Elektra's pokemon?

For Frank; I sorta see him being Pokemon-less with his Pokemon having died with his family. Hydreigon maybe? Can imagine his kids clambering on a little deino and after it evolves hugging each of its heads like a three headed puppy-dragon.
If not, something else that's big, strong and intimidating. Haxorus, Charizard, Typhlosion, Aggron, Garchomp...?
And something tiny and adorable like a nidoran because his daughter wanted one and why not.

Elektra; Exotic and expensive but deadly. A Lucario maybe? Scyther, Volcarona, Arbok, Zoroark... She can easily afford a shiny too if she wanted?

For Frank after his family dies and lost his pokeon, he founds a new companion in the form of a Zoroark when he save him from those people who put him in fights every night tho you agve it to Elektra i thin it will be perfect for Frank too.

Matt goes on a bit of a downward spiral after the end of season 2. Foggy wants nothing to do with him, and neither does Karen (she takes the revelation of him being Daredevil badly). They don't hate Matt, just... want him to get his shit together.

Anyway, Matt is under increasing amounts of stress, because he can't hold a regular 9-5 job and he definitely can't run the practice by himself, so he gets a 30-day eviction notice. He gets sloppy when he's Daredevil, and maybe almost dies. But Frank saves his life.

Yadda yadda, Frank patches Matt up and *hand waves* Frank ends up offering Matt a place to crash on his couch for a while (since he knows who Daredevil really is anyway?) and the two become good friends.

(Also maybe Frank helps Matt work some of his shit out so he can repair his relationship with Karen & Foggy please?)

Also, let's give Matt more obstacles to go through before he can even begin to be bothered to find Frank.

The Irishmen adjust Frank's position, chaining him up or down for easier access. At some point soon, I imagine Frank would probably tell Finn where the money is. After Finn's two thugs explode, Finn doesn't go for a head-shot; no, he brutalizes Frank with his high-powered toy and somehow forces him to come from it. Finn then rapes Frank while mocking him for "enjoying" it, then telling him he's going to give each of his guys a go before Frank gets to bite the bullet mostly to see just how many excruciating times they can get him off. They end up unintentionally breaking Frank. Maybe Finn and some of his goons have kinks? Wouldn't mind if they all did, but the point is that it's all really, really bad for Frank. Just fucking horrible. I mean, the poor guy's a broken mess, isn't he? Yes, I want to be devastated over his suffering.

Daredevil gets there in the midst of the shit, does his thing before any bullet-biting goes on, and hey, after all that hurt, let the comfort begin. Dem character dynamix.

No one prompted it, so I had to. I swear it's not my fault.

REPOST: Matt/Frank, dub-con

Matt notices, one night as he's leaving the Punisher behind, that he's making Frank's heart rate escalate in a way that has nothing to do with anger. He can dismiss it once, but it happens again and again and again, every time they encounter each other. Frank never pushes, never even shows any sign of being aware of his own reaction. But Matt reasons that, if he has had no success convincing Frank to change his ways with force, then maybe he would have more success with another approach.

And so, Matt decides to start sleeping with Frank, even though he has no interest in the man as anything more than an occasional ally and friend (at least at first).

Meanwhile, Frank is trying really hard not to let himself fall in love again, and he's not doing a very good job of it.

Bonus:
+Matt eventually does develop feelings, but he's still too hung up on stopping Frank from killing people to really let himself acknowledge it.
+++Matt talks to Foggy about all of his problems, and Foggy knows exactly what's really going on the whole time.

Matt confesses to Foggy about the periods of losing his hearing (which are still happening every now and then) and instead of trying to help Foggy basically says good, because maybe it'll stop him getting hurt. It's coming from a place of caring, but it still hurts Matt that he says that. And then maybe one day Foggy's in the room when it happens...

+1 Yes to so much hurt/comfort and guilt for everyone.

If this is pre Nelson and Mudrock closing, the hearing loss could happen in the office. Matt suddenly can't navigate his own office, trips on a stack of paper or a chair leg, curls up on the floor in a panic then Foggy's panicking and Karen hears and she's panicking.

When Karen finds out Foggy knew he was losing his hearing she just berates the hell out of him.

Post finale- Karen gets in trouble, Daredevil saves her.

Foggy takes some very much needed time away from Hell's Kitchen.

Foggy doesn't take up Jeri Hogarth's offer right away, instead he takes some time away from Hell's Kitchen and retreats to his hometown for awhile. He stays with his parents, makes himself useful with whatever family business they run, or around the house. He reconnects with a few old friends too, but never talks at length about the state of things with his now-defunct law firm or his now-ex law partner Matt.
I'd just like to see Foggy recoup from what went down in S2. His family is supportive, protective, but not coddling. Foggy will have to go back to the city and start his new job, but for the moment he's taking time to heal and reflect.
Bonus points if he lets himself grow an impressive beard while he's away, cuz I love how awesome the actor who plays Foggy looks with glorious facial hair.

So I'd really love to see a fanfic where Matt gets back on his feet; he makes snarky hate-love allies with Frank, he sharpens himself as Daredevil, he finds some sort of legal work or lives off of Elektra's money, he's lonely but manages.

However, Foggy is overworked and underslept, exhausted and lonely and run-down, and really struggles at being away from his best friend and feeling crazy and PT and everything.

Once they reconcile, Matt takes care of Foggy in a big way.

As Matt and Foggy are reconciling, it comes up that they've been pining for one another for years upon years.

However, there's still big obstacles to dating:

-Matt wants children, Foggy doesn't
-Foggy doesn't want to commit long-term
-Foggy still isn't really comfortable with Daredeviling
-Matt has Issues with abandonment, and feels like he can't trust or get too close to Foggy now that he's left him twice
-Foggy needs Matt to take better care of himself
-Foggy wants to take care of Matt, but Matt would rather be more independent
-Matt wants more violent sex than Foggy
-Foggy worries about Matt's weird relationships with Frank and other vigilantes

Up to you how it's all resolved or not!

Fisk saves him, not by fighting anyone but by merely making his presence known and telling everyone to back off. Makes it known that Matt is his to kill, when he feels like it. (But it also lets Matt know that his "protection" can be relinquished at a moment's notice).

Just... Matt being hella terrified in jail and resentful of the help, and Fisk relishing having that power over him. But no non-con between Matt or Fisk.

I just rewatched 2x08 and noticed that during Matt's speech in court, when he says "we need heroes", he turns to face Foggy and Karen just as he's about to say "heroes". And not only that, but his voice breaks on that word, he stammers, and overall looks so uncertain and scared in that moment.

And then we have a dramatic zoom on Foggy's reaction, which is to turn his head away. A clear "no" for the audience.

So, what I want is - somewhere post-s2 where everyone got back together and everything is beautiful and nothing hurts - is for Foggy to tell Matt that Matt is his hero. Not Daredevil (screw Daredevil), but Matt.
