S2 Finale AU - Matt Dies, Not Elektra

Just give me an AU of S2 where Matt dies instead of Elektra, and it's Matt who ends up in that Resurrection chamber.

+1000 for Matt being tortured, brainwashed or demon possessed into working for the Hand

+10,000 for Elektra or Stick having to break the news to a Foggy or Karen who come by Matt's place looking for him

+1,000,000 for Elektra and Stick remaining in NYC to take on the Hand and keep them in check, and the Hand's plans turning really nasty

+ a bazillion for all of the aftermath when it turns out Matt's not so dead after all, and the Hand take over the city.

There was a prompt (on this or another kinkmeme) for interactions between Daredevil and Dexter, but how about the Bay Harbor Butcher meeting the Punisher?
"There is a new serial killer in Miami. So far, he has only gone for criminals. Coincidence? Or does he have a code like me?"
Or either Frank visits Miami to kill gansters there or Dexter relocates to NY following his faked death or whatever. (Preferably the first, though.)
Dex sees the crime scenes and is like "I like this guy".
Frank is like "Great. A creepy fucker with a crush."
Or, Dexter covering Frank's ass by tampering with blood splatter evidence.

Foggy assumed that Smitty would help him, because he knew he had blackmail material. He and Smitty had a sexual relationship in the tenth grade and beyond that Foggy knows Smitty would prefer his biker friends and family not know about.

Slavery AU: Vanessa is a wanted fugitive and owed to Nelson and Murdock

After Fisk's conviction Vanessa is sentenced to slavery/indentured servantiudd fr her know I g involvement with Fisk. She manages to leave the country but her sentence is in place. The holders of the contract are Nelson and Murdock, part of restitution for their work on be case. When Matt goes to visit Fisk he throws that information out there. Which is only part of the reason Fisk beats him.

Now that is really interesting. Would Vanessa be forced to come back to the US, like federal bounty hunters sent out for her? Would the bodyguards Fisk sent with her come back with her? Foggy would probably end up as her main owner, since Matt's blind and a criminal is a criminal. Oh, what if there's a clause in place where even if Matt and Foggy die, Vanessa won't be freed? Meaning Fisk can beat the shit out of Matt all he likes, but if Matt and Foggy die Vanessa will be even further out of reach belonging to fuck knows who.

Matt/Foggy OR Matt & Foggy - Foggy Comes Out as Bi

Post-S2 Foggy is feeling pretty good about himself, and he works for a lesbian woman and is spending more time with Marci, who is openly bi. And so he finally admits it to himself and comes out to other people about it.

Bonus points if Matt is like "Yeah, and..." when he finds out, and Foggy is like "You knew before I did? Why didn't you say something!"

And maybe Matt tells Foggy that he's always been attracted to Matt? And Foggy is like "What? No I haven't been! Have I? What? Noooo... No, no, no... wait..."

Could be set post-reconciliation (because we all know they're gonna) or be how they reconcile.

Can turn into Matt/Foggy or not. Up to the filler.

All the way back from Prompt Post #2, but I'm bringing it back because I would love to see it filled.

Nobu and Matt's fight goes a little differently.

Nobu wins, but he's impressed by Daredevil, so instead of killing him, Nobu has Daredevil taken away by his men.

Matt wakes up in an unfamiliar place, probably chained down, where his only company consists of his silent guards and visits from Nobu, who is eager to speak to him. With nothing else to distract him but the incredibly distant possibility of escape, Matt starts looking forward to these visits, whether he wants to or not...

Or more like him helping Red out because what is WRONG with the other superheroes? They keep asking Red do impossible things like operate a touch screen, a memorable several occasions asking him to drive and asking him to shoot a gun? Look he trusts Red to do whatever it is with his senses but dudes still blind. No way he's letting a blind guy shoot without some practice.

Human Traffickers Kidnap Stick's Latest Chold Soldiers

So Stick is a creepy dude who trains child soldiers but seems to care for them in some capacity. He's taking new soldiers in post S2. Only they get kidnapped by human traffickers who see them as a gold mine (unregistered or high risk kids in a group? Hell yeah.). Stick pursues them and leaves a murder trail. Cue interest of DD and others.

This makes me actually like Stick. You've done the impossible, OP.

Also hahaha imagine how troublesome the kids themselves would be. Not skilled enough to beat the shit out of their kidnappers but skilled enough to seriously fuck up their lives. (But then imagine how the traffickers would fuck the kids up for fighting back. D: stick would be pissed and then would make the kids choose the traffickers' way of death)

Double bonus points if it references how desperately Karen wanted Matt to feel her face and how Foggy had obviously been there first. (Even though Matt would probably still be willing to do it because why wouldn't he want a better picture of his friend?)

Foggy picks up Amoracchius (because he so could)

Maybe the Hand and the Chaste hear that the sword is currently in Hell’s Kitchen, so Stick grabs Matt and a few of his other agents to hunt it down. Amoracchius is an object of immense power in the right hands; Stick wants that power for his own cause.

They find the sword, there’s a fight over it. A bunch of civilians (Matt: “Foggy?! What are you doing here, stay back!”) are about to get killed by demons. It’s not looking good.

And then somehow, the sword is thrown clear of the battle. It ~flips~ through the air and lands next to Foggy, tip down in a pile of stones. Without thinking, Foggy grabs it and swings it at a nigh-unkillable demon like a baseball bat. The demon goes WHOOSH, goodbye cruel world, and dies.

Stick and friends are dumbfounded. The sword glows. Foggy’s like, “...why are you all staring at me.”



+ Stick had thought Matt would be perfect for the sword - the martyrdom, the religiousness, the training of a warrior. He’s not impressed with Foggy and doesn't think he's worthy. (the sword disagrees with you, Sticky.)

++ Foggy himself has a hard time accepting this ‘knight’ business. He keeps trying to give the sword away to all these muscle-y people around him, but is told (possibly by Lantom?), ‘nope, sorry, this is your problem now. and for the love of God, don't let the blind old guy get his hands on that thing.’

+++ Foggy doesn’t suddenly become a master swordsman. But he gets some of the probability-bending mojo and can use his status as a Knight to get shit done. He’d probably end up being one of those One-And-Done Knights who are called to save innocents during a specific incident and then pass along the sword to someone else.

++++ It’s not necessary for Harry and the rest to be present, though if they do show up it’s a universe hopping thing instead of the Dresdenverse taking place in the same reality as Daredevil.


tl;dr, Franklin P. Nelson becomes a Knight of the Cross, because if anyone in the DD universe is going to wield Amoracchius (‘and the greatest of these is Love’) it’s Foggy Nelson.

Matt/Claire, shoulder rub

Claire had a really rough day at work, and Matt offers her a friendly shoulder rub/neck massage. Of course, he's totally amazing at it -- he can feel all the knots and hear the way her muscles move, he hits every spot that was hurting and makes it all better. Claire is totally swept away, not only by how good it feels, but also by how kind and attentive Matt is being. Of course, one thing leads to another... whether that's just a one night stand or Claire reconsidering her feelings about Matt is up to you.

Whatever time period floats your boat. It could be an AU or missing moment from season 1, or sometime after season 2 when Matt has apologized for being an ass and Claire found a new job.

Matt's "powers" are Synesthesia

A fic in which Matt's "World on Fire" and such are synesthesia - where other senses are bleeding together. He "sees" sounds he hears, etc. Maybe also create some new "powers" from the various types of reported forms of synethesia? Maybe he remembers tasting colors when he could see? (He can have enhanced senses or normal senses. Your choice.)

Maybe before or after season 2. Someone betraying omega!Matt and giving him to the Hand. The Hand is made up entirely of alphas, and all they want to use him for is breeding. They use drugs to trigger his heat early and keep him tied up while they all take turns. They succeed, but after that, the Punisher rescues Matt.

Matt's traumatized and afraid, and Frank helps.

Also it'd be nice if Foggy was there too. Just, no reason. Besides that I really like Foggy.

Author's call for what sort of Domme Karen is, along with whatever sort of 'fun' she has with Matt and how and with what. In other words: satisfy all your kinky desires (just no blood play, or waterworks, etc--thanks). Also up to author if she requires Matt to come to these sessions in the DD suit (either one) and/or in his lawyerin' suits.

Foggy is the black sky but never develop a thirst for blood .

Stick is his grandfather and he made sure Foggy was as good as possible and free of any danger.

Whe he grew up and decided to go to college instead of being with Stick who was always somewhere he went to Columbia which worked perfectly for Stick who kept tabs on Mathew and move some thinsg around for both of them to be roomates.

Years llater. The had shows up in Hells Kitchen and are coming for Foggy.

Stick needs information out of Foggy that he has through his work at Hogarth's firm, or for other handwavy reasons. Stick decides to send someone in to get said information, but he can't send in Matt because Matt's super busy trying to fight off criminals and the Hand and he'd probably muck up the whole with his ~feelings~ anyway. So he sends in one of his top students. Maybe his student poses as a destitute client who is in desperate need of legal help?

The problem is that Matt's not the only one who's starved for affection and the Chaste member latches on to Foggy a little too quickly. It lands everyone in trouble in some way or another.

Oh, I really like this set-up.

So what with being a poor college student and then a broke-ass lawyer, Foggy hasn’t had a check-up in quite a while. The benefits in his new job are extensive, though, so for the first time in ages Foggy gets his ass over to a doctor for a full work-up.

On top of all the regular health tests, one of the tests checks whether or not you’ve forged a soul-bond with someone. And what do you know, it turns out Foggy has. With Matt. Who, in addition to jumping from Claire to Karen to Elektra, has just made it abundantly clear that he doesn’t need or want Foggy in his life anymore. (or at least that’s how Foggy read the implosion of Nelson and Murdock, and really, who could blame him.)

So Foggy decides to keep his mouth shut. He’ll fall on this sword, he won’t say a word about it because he thinks it’d be easier for everyone that way.

And then Matt finds out.


+ Maybe bonds can sometimes be quasi-platonic or even non-reciprocal, which is part of why Foggy doesn’t say anything. But in this case the bond is romantic and reciprocal, but Foggy doesn’t know that.

And Foggy's "Because it's obvious you don't want to have anything to do with me anymore. I'm not going to try to guilt you into anything you don't want."

(Or maybe sometimes you can have a soulmate bond based on hatred/twisted to hatred after forging, and Matt's assumption is that Foggy's soulmate bond with him's one like that, at least on Foggy's side?)
