So instead of splitting completely apart from each other the trio form a band. It starts off as a stupid thing. Then gains momentum. Karen is the singer. Matt plays bass/guitar (maybe singing too as back up or with Foggy). Foggy drums?

Karen still works at the paper. Franklin Nelson is still some Hot Shot Lawyer. Matt is still Daredevil. Somehow they're still able to find time for their band.

They're not super famous but they do have a small following and make a bit of money from their music. Nothing much but enough for them to joke about trying to make it big and pretend their other life isn't their main responsibility.

Claire/Matt, AU in which Claire is VERY bad at taking her own advice

...and not so good with the self-care and/or preservation, bc of reasons.

Trying - and failing - not to start off with 'What if...', but WHAT IF: Claire, going against her better judgement, hooked up with Matt in s1. And let's say it became A Thing, leading to lots of messy feelings + Claire making an active choice to be with Matt and accept the role he plays in helping the city.

Bonus points if Claire follows the same path she did in season 1 re: quitting her job (and possibly embracing her role as Night Nurse while still helping the folks of Hell's Kitchen.)

Elektra/Matt - Role Reversal AU; Elektra is blind & has super senses, etc.

I WANT THIS SO SO BAD, Y'ALL.

Elektra is a spoiled rich girl, who ended up blind after an accident (with bonus super senses, and all that jazz). Matt, who is still very much one with the Catholic guilt, is an assassin for hire. They meet under similar OR very different circumstances - your pick.

I'd prefer if Matt wasn't sent on a mission to lure Elektra, but that's up to the writer.

In "Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe," Matt and Frank knew each other as kids, and little!Frank even protected little!Matt from bullies. It's a big source of the emotional power of the chapter.

Since Frank Castle is practically a Western movie stereotype anyway...

Frank Castle is a war veteran (probably either Civil War or Mexican-American War) whose family is killed by bandits/marauders/mercenaries-working-for-the-railroad and who vows vengeance against all of them and their ilk. His method of justice fits right in with the culture of the time; maybe he even becomes a sheriff so that he can do his thing legally. But not everyone agrees with his methods...

+1 for a never-gets-off-the-ground Frank/Karen romance
+5 for Fisk as evil railroad baron
+10 for Matt and Foggy as overworked territorial lawyers
+100 for Matt still being a Westernized version of Daredevil and Frank putting two and two together disconcertingly quickly

Matt/Elektra -- Married with children

Yo, do you remember in 2x05 when Elektra was all WHEN we get married, own a shitload of houses, have a little Ellie and Matty Jr., and so on? I would like to read that -- under very cracktastic circumstances, bc it wouldn't make any sense otherwise.

But seriously, Elektra would not have any time for children. And it would be equal parts sad and hilarious tbqh.

Matt would be the stay-at-home, devoted dad (possibly working somehow with Foggy or else being a Murderdock Daredevil)

Elektra would be the irresponsible mom who would want them all to go out to dinner somewhere bizarrely fancy past the kids' bedtimes, try to teach her small children about cocktails and knives

She and Matt argue about the appropriate age for the children to learn how to kill people

MCU!Frank is so much smaller than the comics version, and Fisk towering over him in prison while he made wounded doe eyes at everything just Did Things to me.

Foggy as the inside man (Matt/Foggy)

Getting tangled up in conspiracies was supposed to be Matt and Karen’s game, but at HC&B Foggy finds himself dragged into a dangerous conspiracy all his own.

Maybe it has something to do with one of the partners, maybe it’s a separate situation one of his new clients brings to him. But something Not Right is happening behind the scenes and now Foggy’s partially involved. To make things even better, it sounds like Daredevil has been trying to bring the whole thing down the past few weeks but he hasn’t been getting very far.

So Foggy leaves a message at a number he hasn’t called in a while and waits on his roof for the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen to show up. If Matt’s going to be involved in this mess anyway, at least Foggy can give him better information than he’s been working off of til now.


- Bonus if Foggy’s interest in this case is protecting some people (his client?) from further harm or retaliation.

- Double bonus if Matt wants Foggy to stay out of it completely, but he keeps showing up for the secret rendevous anyway. (Because he misses Foggy, not that he's going to come out and say that.)

- Final bonus if someone figures out that Foggy’s the leak and goes after him.

This is one of my favorite tropes right now. I like actual Devil Matt, I like Ghost Rider Devil Matt, I like Hell's Kitchen thinks DD is the real Devil, I love Avenger misadventures, everything and anything.

Post-Season 2, Foggy swore off vigilantes, but he keeps getting tangled up in Jessica's shenanigans, and she keeps saving him from stuff even though she SWEARS she doesn't like him. (He's at least 70% sure that's a joke. Maybe 60%.) Meanwhile, he and Matt aren't speaking, but somehow Matt finds out that Foggy's sort of inadvertently become (one of) Jessica's civilian sidekick(s). Maybe Foggy's mixed up in a dangerous case and Matt's coincidentally tracking the same bad guys?

Anyway, Matt tries very hard to be cool about this but we all know he has absolutely no chill. Just give me super petulant jealous Matt who doesn't understand why Foggy is completely fine with OTHER vigilantes and not HIM and he could totally have saved Foggy super good on his own, Jessica, he doesn't need help! (Foggy is, of course, not completely fine with Jessica's vigilantism, but also it's less fraught when it's some lady you know through work and not your best friend and business partner who lied to you for a decade and who you're secretly in love with.)

Would love it if it ends up Matt/Foggy but gen is fine, as long as Matt is a giant sulky baby, and Jessica is entirely baffled by all of this!

So inspired by a post on tumblr: someone else with hypersensitive senses shows Matt all the good/fun/pleasant things about having hypersensitive senses

He gets to pet cats and be shown all the softest yarns and takes hot baths with an icepack on his head and plays with uncooked rice and and make his own scented pillows

He listens to soft beautiful sounds and is shown how to enjoy his supersenses instead of solely using them for hypervigilance

I can't be the only one who's convinced Frank Castle is a masochist with a very high pain tolerance who will go to great lengths to get his fix. (That scene with Nesbitt, anyone?) I just want really intense Punisher S&M, please. The messier and more horrifying the better. Can be as consensual as you want, or could be really dubcon (is on the losing side of a fight for once and discovers he really likes it?) or just straight up good ol' fashioned torture.

He has a high pain tolerance, and is a complete tortutre expert. Read The Slavers arc by Garth Ennis, and you'll see what I mean. In fact read all 75 issues lol. It's really good. The last six weren't done by him, but I still thought they were good. Also Edmondson punisher went towards that route last year with his comic run. Frank is absolutely savage with his shit.

Okay, so we've had a couple variations on 'X keeps Y locked up for their own good in a creepy way' but I'd REALLY love to see this with Matt and Frank, where it's less 'for his own good' and more 'I CAN SO stop you from killing indefinitely without killing you'. And obviously Matt can't just send Frank back to jail or someone, probably many someones will die, and also Matt is all alone in the world now and needs someone argue with/lecture/bounce his DD problems off of, and also unlike everyone he misses Frank is not Too Good For Murdock's Sinful Hands To Touch etc.

Frank is furious but ALSO lonely, so, like. Dysfunctional feelings ensue?

So now that Foggy's joined Jeri's law firm I was thinking, what if Hogarth, Cho and Benewitz has a very strict dress code when it comes to their employees? Particularly in regards to employee's hair length.

Could we have Foggy going through with the ultimate sacrifice and absolutely no one (not even H,C and B themselves because strangely enough, Foggy's hair has garnered them positive attention) being happy about it except for that one guy at HCB that enforces the dress code?

- Karen missing being long blonde buddies.
- Matt missing the sound of Foggy's hair brushing over his shoulders (It's very distinctive).
- Brett just teasing him about this being a sign of him finally going corporate.
- Lots of Samson jokes

Yes. The job interview haircut from the S2 finale just looks...off.

Even at L&Z, it looks like he had the monogrammed tie clip, the bracelet, and the longer hair.

I imagine Foggy fighting the dress code via fun ties, coloured shirts (after all, Pam rocks the bright florals and geometric prints), tiny avocado cuff links...

Do they know it's for 24 hours? Cause that might dictate how Frank reacts. He might not know how to cope otherwise, but if he knows it's only 24 hours he'd probably go crazy trying to be the perfect husband and father while trying to keep them from finding out, making excuses not to go home yet, telling Lisa we lost your book but we're going to the bookstore to buy another copy right now, Maria knowing something's wrong but he simply will not tell her...

Those mystical ninjas drug Matt outside of his DD costume, and Foggy/Brett/Frank find his wandering around a roofs ledge. He's not gonna jump, he just likes to hear the city, but they don't know that and he's acting really weird.

Oh god this could either way and be funny or just sad because it would most likely be after the finale and Brett thinks Matt may not be dealing well with the fact him and Foggy ended Nelson & Murdock and when they get to the roof top (maybe some old lady found him on the roof top and called up the station and brett was like what other blind guy with this description could it be, and gets in touch with foggy that way) they find matt just sat on the edge of the roof with his feet dangling over the edge and they think "oh my god he's gunna jump" and matts so out of it he just starts explaining what he can hear or how it makes him feel and then one of them grabs him when he like the drugs proper kick in and he nearly falls off the edge or something.

One of my favorite episodes from the Justice League Animated show is the one where Wonderwoman gets turned into a pig and Batman has to go on a wacky adventure to turn her back into her normal self.

So I want to see the Daredevil version of this. Someone from the show (your choice) gets turned into an animal, someone close to this character has to find a way to turn them back. Any combo of characters would work for me. Does Foggy get turned into an animal and Matt have to find a way to get him back to his old self? Does Matt get turned into an animal and Frank have to find a way to get him back? Any scenario seems hilarious to me, TBH. Can be as gen or as shippy as you want, author's choice.

I just want something funny and wacky after Season 2...

by proxy. Smitty was some huge thing at the Dogs of Hells so everyone think of him as a member. Not you regular one but a member.

Cue to months later Foggy gets a visit froma lawyer with a huge ammount of papers, accounts, propierties, bussiness stuff that he will have to manage now because he is the only member alive and he has to rebuild the organization.

Gimme Foggy freaking out by this and asking himself how he got in that mess.

I really like this idea. Like there's a bunch of junior members, 18 year old kids who were just kind of kicking around on the periphery, hoping to work their way up. A lot of them were in need of protection, bad families, bad situations. If Foggy doesn't take up the lead, they're going to end up in another gang and Foggy knows exactly who is out there waiting for gangs that go too far. So he rolls his sleeves up and tries to figure out how to run an honest gang.

Dang. I love this A LOT.

Richard Castle, meet Daredevil

What it says on the can. Daredevil has an encounter with Rick Castle--mystery novelist, private eye, husband to the 12th's newest captain, and all around nerdy fanboy. Nerd-gasms will be expected... (And is Matt a Derrick Storm and/or Nikki Heat fan? If so, how mad did he get when Derrick Storm was killed off?)

Bonus: if Matt and Kate Beckett are past acquaintances/hook ups, since Beckett had studied pre-law at Stanford before transferring over to NYU (might have to fudge timelines for that, but oh well...its fan fiction...its allowed).
