I can't remember which ep this is (ten?) but the scene where Reyes is shot- give me an AU where they actually fucking question how the hell a blind man knew they were about to be shot at. Come on, people!

Basically, I want Karen actually putting together the fact that Matt is dd much sooner than the end of the season (and not having to be told, jfc).

Frank/Matt, Matt's senses fail after the epic fight scene in 2x03

I'm just looking for some h/c after the hallway-stairwell-basement fight scene in 2x03. Matt's still recovering from being shot in the head and after his adrenaline dies down his senses begin to fail again. Frank was on his way out when he noticed that Red is doing that same fists-up-head-tilted thing again before he collapses.

Frank takes him to his safe house – and why is his new dog unbothered by the new fellow? – and patches him up sans mask. He also realizes he's blind. Matt may or may not remember any of this happening. Bonus points for not-lucid Matt having a conversation with Frank or it becoming a longer fic exploring the development of the relationship between these two.

I'd love a scene showing Stick giving Elektra her mission to seduce Matt. She tries to understand why this man is so important to the war...or is it really Stick? Even better would be the slow burn exploration of their relationship from her perspective.

Okay, how about this: everything Stick's ever done was about Elektra. It was never about Matt.

He trained Matt to perhaps one day battle Elektra. He gave Elektra the assignment because while HE failed to tame her, he thought that maybe Matt would. Matt, whom he remembered as soft and loving. So - Stick thought - let's make Elektra lure him onto our side, into this war, and perhaps along the way he'll mellow her, my Ellie.

Like, WHAT IF.

At the gala, Elektra tells Matt to finish his drink, and he says, "Why, are we gonna dance?" It doesn't sound sarcastic. It sounds understood. Like, that's what they always did, so of course that's what they would do now.

And there's no chance Matt knew how to dance before he met Elektra, but once he'd shown her his moves in the ring, she knew she had to teach him some more.

Foggy is still an Avocado at Law, no matter what.

Foggy still fights the good fight, even with his new job at a bigger firm. He never turns away an old client from Nelson and Murdock and he still gets gifts of pasties and fruit. Some of his new colleagues tend to think him naive and stupid for helping people below his pay grade ('You're in the big leagues now, Jr. hehehe') but Foggy has proven himself time and again in the courtroom.
I want to see Foggy remain true to himself and to the spirit of Nelson and Murdock. We've seen how resourceful and ballsy he is when he wants information, maybe he still does that kind of investigative footwork, even teams up with Karen, or even Claire. I just want Foggy being an awesome Avocado on his own, outside of Matt's shadow.

Fluffy fluffy fluff

This season has left me on a massive downer. I was going to watch season 1 again to try to recover but I can't bring myself to. I can't bring myself to write fic either. I'm just too damn sad.

Please make me feel better by writing some nice fluffy friendship fluff. Just Matt and Foggy hanging out, having fun. Set it anywhere you like, college, season 1, some theoretical future where they've patched things up, I don't care. Just please write something that will make me smile.

With her new job, Karen often finds herself going to visit or meet up with shady people for information/interviews. She loves her job, but it's not always the safest. So she starts to call Frank to accompany her from a distance on nights she's not entirely comfortable going places alone.

Turns out that Karen really enjoys the power she has with the Punisher at her side.

Karen becoming cocky as hell and letting the power go to her head a little (And why wouldn't she be, she has the freaking Punisher on her side). Just a little she insists.

Criminals don't get within a 1 km radius of her for fear of being attack dogged.

Matt/Catholicism, 5 times Matt showed his faith

The scenes of Matt saying "The Lord's Prayer" while holding Elektra's hand & making the sign of the cross before saying that perhaps killing was the right way, just this once, really got to me.

I'd love a story from other people's perspectives where Matt subtly shows his faith and not in the joking-Catholic-guilt sort of way. I'd love if it touched on the rituals and catechism of the Catholic Church and Matt wasn't preachy about it. It's just a part of who he is.

Matt makes amends with his friends

After Elektra dies, a heartbroken Matt decides to make amends with the friends he has ignored for months.

- He checks in on Claire and helps her get a job at another hospital through a connection.
- He tells the truth to Karen by revealing his identity.
- He apologizes to Foggy and tells him how worried he was.
- Has a coffee chat with Father Lantom that doesn't involve him questioning issues of morality.
- Sends a congratulations gift to Brett for his promotion.

Matt's still emotionally constipated and finds it hard to receive friendship in response, but he realizes it's important to let the people he loves know that he loves them, in whatever little way he can.

What happened after Foggy found Matt in 2x02?

Matt asks how Karen's doing and Foggy says that they've already been over this. How many times did they have a conversation about what happened, but Matt doesn't remember because he's severely concussed?

Give me Foggy undressing Matt and tending to his wounds, trying to deal with a barely lucid highly trained martial artist, and all the while, tampering down his fury that his friend keeps on doing this. And how did he get him home in the first place?

Can be friendship or slash.

Part of me fell a little out of love at Foggy. That was harsh and poor Matt was concussed.

Rich Foggy

Foggy loves his new career, his new lifestyle, because really it was always what he wanted: money and beautiful girls who'd flock to him because of his success and wealth. It was only because of Matt that he took a detour in trying to help the needy and now that he has that wake up call he abandons any pretence of being a good guy.

A year later he and Matt bump into each other professionally (Matt is still a lawyer and maybe they are on the case in court but on different sides!) and it is painful and strained. Matt clearly values Foggy as a friend but finds himself appalled at the cases his former partner is taking on. Foggy himself is lording over Matt, showing off his wealth as obnoxiously as he can but a part of him starts to feel bad. Does he explore that or ruthlessly crush it down?

Angst galore please.

I try to think of a way to make this work in an non-AU scenario but CAN'T. Foggy Nelson, who is friends with random people in Hell's Kitchen and offers strangers to fix broken shit in their house? Suddenly turning into a rich asshole? And only starts feeling bad after some time?

Frank/Matt; Protectiveness and when it's okay/Someone needs to protect Matt for once

Frank and Matt are in a relationship--or at least what The Punisher and Daredevil could call a relationship--and they've reached a tenuous balance in idealogies about killing at least when they're working together, but Frank makes it clear to Matt that he protects the people he cares about. Period. Matt's not really used to the idea of someone else protecting him (seriously, in the show he keeps insisting he's going to protect Karen and she just acts like it's no surprise even though she doesn't know he's Daredevil yet). He's also a highly trained fighter, so he just assumes he'll keep himself safe and there shouldn't be much of an issue.

And then someone gets a hold of Daredevil. (I'm a twisted bastard so you can go fairly dark if you want; just no, like...dismemberment.) When Frank finds them, he makes sure it's the last mistake they'll ever make.

(I'm also an emotional bastard, so I'm also open to serious discussions in which Frank makes it clear that Matt needs protecting, too. I just get the feeling that Frank may actually get through to him better than Foggy did. Foggy was trying to protect Matt by trying to get him to stop being Daredevil, which was never going to work, as Season 2 showed. Frank wouldn't try to do that.)

Post Season Two, Foggy Angst

After Matt and Foggy parted ways, he and Matt didn't keep in contact with each other. One day, a year or so later, Matt is prowling around, doing his thing as Daredevil. He makes it a point to stop a man who was mugging/attack in (dealer's choice) a guy walking home late, a guy who reeked of chemotherapy chemicals and hospitals, a guy Matt can tell may not even last the rest of the year.
Cue the angst when Matt realizes that the man he just saved, the man who smells of drugs and who's probably going to die is Foggy.

Bonus points if:
*Foggy is close to either dying or remission and he doesn't know which
*He never contacted Matt because he didn't want him to know (once again, dealer's choice on why)
*They make up
*They're still best friends and Matt tries desperately to make up for lost time

Whether or not Foggy dies is your decision. Just angst me the fuck up.

Whe Frank burst into the hospital to kill Grotto, Foggy Nelson gets shot. Not fatally, but he is wounded. Karen and Matt return to visit him/bring him home. They don't question until later that day why Foggy was at the hospital in the first place.

He finally tells them he was there for chemo.

(Matt/Foggy or Foggy/Karen is fine! So is gen! Lots of bromance.)

After the events of s2, it's clear that Matt burnt all his bridges. Foggy's not talking to him, Karen's not talking to him. Brett's always been Foggy's friend and not Matt's.

Somehow - maybe in a moment of weakness, when the day was extra bad, when he's feeling extra lonely - he ends up calling the only person who might still pick up, if only to mock him.

He calls Marci. Somehow that becomes a thing. And somehow they become reluctant friends.

So Matt is kind of under employed with his firm now gone, let's say he takes up independent contract work. It's a living but he really can't keep up paying his apartment with the pay unless he increases work, thus cutting down Daredevil stuff. He tells Foggy, Foggy, now richer, helps because Matt is still his bro. Only it doesn't quite stop as Foggy ends up supporting Matt.

Cue awkward conversations with others.

+If Matt ends up living with Foggy for a period (maybe he lost his apartment due to rent increasing) or it was fumigating.

Oh god, what sort of assumptions do people make about them? Do they figure that Matt's Foggy's kept boy, that he's always been Foggy's boy and that Foggy just got tired of pretending Matt was his equal after the Castle trial?

Matt & Melvin, friendship and mutual admiration

Matt's scenes with Melvin were some of my favorites this season. I love how reassuring and calming Matt is to Melvin, and Melvin's act of generosity in the final episode – be still my heart. Matt was so touched. I was touched.

Bonus points for Melvin realizing Matt is blind. Let's say he used an extra-fortified material on the mask that's opaque because he realizes it, but doesn't say anything to Matt because it shouldn't matter.

Just give me more interactions between these two. Extra bonus points for Betsy being introduced.

Frank Castle, Daemon AU

I really want a daemon AU focused on Frank and possibly also Frank/Matt.

Just, please no bat for Matt. And his daemon should also be blind--maybe a honey badger? (It fits his personality.)

(Bonus if Stick's training involved Matt blinding and separating from his daemon!)

Suggestions for Frank's daemon:

wolf of some sort
dogo argentino (hunting dogs that are nontheless very friendly to children)
female grizzly bear
some other form of violent but maternal/paternal animal

And then the scene in episode 4 involves them torturing Frank's daemon

What if half the people that have come into Matt's life have actually been sent by Stick in the hopes that he might become intimate with them (friendship or romance) and be returned to Stick? This could include men, women, same age, older, etc.

I love the idea of Matt being the one who got away and Stick trying to do anything he can to bring his lost sheep back to the herd.

lol, and the one person Matt clinged onto was the kid from the random room assignment that Stick didn't have rigged.

Others were sent to try to tempt him away, but after Elektra it never really worked. Matt stuck with the talkative kid.

Post-S2, Matt lands in prison after his identity is discovered

An ambitious rookie realizes that his detective sergeant keeps on going off into alleyways to have a chat with the Devil. He uses this to his advantage and with a team of his buddies tranq him and bring him in. Cue the discovery that the Devil of Hell's Kitchen is Matthew Murdock. The press is all over it: they interview doctors who confirm that, yes, he is blind, and his classmates and colleagues. Some people make him into a martyr – did you hear about his childhood? – while others view him as the catalyst for the Punisher.

That's all background noise to the main event which is Matt being placed in the same prison as Fisk. Give me Fisk's reaction to discovering his archenemy's identity. The other inmates want to fuck around with or even kill Matt because he put them there. Every day is a battle on the inside. He's in a hornet's nest and everyone's trying to figure out his weaknesses. Some of the guards are on his side, though, which helps; others, not so much.

Get as dark as you want.

Bonus points if Frank gets him the hell out of there – what'd you get yourself into, Red? – and Foggy clears his name.

Frank/Matt AU, They meet in a widowers' group

Frank and Matt have both lost the lost the loves of their lives. Perhaps Frank didn't go completely off the deep-end because his children survived in this universe. When he was in a coma, however, his wife's sister took custody. Although he's able to see them, he won't be able to regain custody until he's completely rehabilitated. His sister-in-law, who cares about Frank, encouraged him to go this group to help his healing.

It's up to you whether Matt is DD in this universe or not, but Elektra died in his arms. He's got issues from losing his father and his wife to murder.

Give me slow burn, anger management, and moral incompatibility issues.

I'd prefer if it's from Frank's POV.

Frank/Foggy

Someone needs to do some Foggy/Frank -- I feel like it's only a matter of time before they meet, and since Frank tried to burn his bridges with Karen, Foggy would be the only other available [known by association] person to turn to. There needs to be a thousands fics! I would love to see Frank hanging around him [and justifying it as 'protection' by his mere presence].

And I think Frank would need people to feel safe with [metaphorically] more than Matt does, really. Frank seemed [to me] to want Karen to still stick by him, almost like it was a test in the diner. Of course, Matt and Frank are already bros, so Frank would already know about Foggy in some sense and what kind of person he is. I can see Matt referencing him as 'his friend', ie. practically his only [and saintly] friend. Frank might eventually want some kindness/love for himself after hearing about it/being a little jealous or lonely.
