Matt finds Foggy's scars (M/F)

Post-season 2, Foggy has a run-in with some bad guys. Daredevil gets him out, but Foggy gets hurt a bit, maybe a bad bruise or a cut or something.

Once they’re clear, Matt gets Foggy to let him treat the injury. While he’s doing that, he runs across the scars from the bombing and the shooting. Feeling them under his hands throws him.

Scars like that are meant for people like him and Elektra. Not Foggy.


Optional Bonus - there's one other significant scar that Foggy got in the interim when they weren't really talking to each other, a consequence of taking on cases tied to other 'vigilantes'. Matt had no idea it was there.

Matt/Elektra - D/s, spanking, dirty talk

Elektra is surprised to find herself thinking about that moment in the gym, when Matt smacked her ass. It was a teasing, barely-felt slap... but it becomes more in her dreams and fantasies.

There Matt takes control over the situation and her body, grabbing her by the neck, bending her over a table or counter with her hands behind her back, and really laying into her. Her being "bad" and being made "good" need to be worked in as well.

The story could focus on these dreams/fantasies, or on Elektra's efforts to organically create a situation where Matt acts out what she wants.

Matt & Melvin - "We keep each other safe."

Stick didn't train Matt. Madame Gao did

Madame Gao is an intelligent woman, she found out the new about a local boy b blinded by chemicals and in her world she knew somethign else what going on there she found him first and trained him as a warrior and her best dealer.

Matt knwos what eh does it's wrong but he does it becasue Madame Gao is the only person that stood side by side with him.

He still goes to Columbia, he takes on Daredevil, He still fights crime and hates what his "grandmother" does but she is family.


+++ Foggy is addicted to whatever drug Madame Gao provides and Matt tries to get him out of that world. Foggy does it but he relapses over and over again.

Oooh, interesting. If the theories of Madame Gao being from K'un Lun are correct, Matt might even have to fight Iron Fist a couple times to protect "grandmother".

Maybe Matt even tries on several occasions to convince Madame Gao to get out of the heroin and human trafficking game, move towards a legit business. He's unsuccessful for the most part, but he doesn't stop trying because he actually does care about his 'grandmother'. His acts as Daredevil are him trying to deter her away from all the shady business.

He acts as Gao's personal bodyguard and lie detector and is the first to realise Leland Owlsley is a very good liar and that Fisk would make a good pawn in Gao's plans.

Karen/Matt - fluff - dating in New York, Daredevil style

(Let's just pretend things have mostly worked out after season 2 and everyone is happy again, okay? ;__; )

Karen and Matt decide to give dating another go. They still have some issues to work through, and a lot of secrets to get out into the open, but things look like they're going well. And now that Karen knows the truth, their date nights are a little more exciting. Once a week, Matt takes Karen on a tour through his world.

Just, lots of fluff - swinging through the rooftops, describing the sounds of Hell's Kitchen, maybe a kiss at the top of a water tower to end the night? But I wouldn't say no to some angst and sadness either.

Frank/Matt truth serum sunset

Bad guys caught Frank and gave him a truth serum. If he is asked a question he must answer and he must answer with the truth. The only way to be rid of the effects is to truthfully answer a certain amount of questions. (Or something like that, whatever)

Matt shows up before the bad guys get their info (maybe it takes a little while to start working ?) and brings Frank to a random rooftop to ask him a bunch of random questions(what day is it, where are we, etc etc) and then he asks him (Something to the effect of) what color is the sky/how is the sunset ? And Frank gives a really unexpectedly nice (poetic even) answer.

++After that Matt asks him to describe a bunch of other things and it is actually not a bad time (for matt at least)

I prefer Matt/Frank but anyone would be amazing. Basically that scene where Matt loses his hearing does things to me. Maybe a scene where there's a gunshot or something and because Matt NEVER TREATED THE CONCUSSION HE GOT, it jars him and he loses his hearing again, and without his hearing he can't see at ALL so he ends up stumbling and lost on a roof panicking. Poor Matt is found by someone and he's freaking out because he can't tell if they're friend or foe, so they take Matt's hands and put them on their face to feel them, because Matt has done that with them before.

Bonus for crying, and double bonus for hugging. I just want whump Matt being scared and then comforted

Fisk/Matt/Frank

Either one of Fisk's appeals finally passes or maybe something happens with Vanessa and he just decides to screw it and breaks out himself, but once he's back out in New York he finds that the gangs who tried to take his spot as top dog basically just made a royal mess of everything in Hell's Kitchen and he doesn't actually have the resources he needs to fix it again on his own.

So, recalling his resounding success with Frank taking out all his competition behind bars for him, Fisk decides to find ways to manipulate/extort/force our two fave vigilantes into working for him to beat everyone back into line so can go even bigger and better than he'd been before getting caught in s1.

Eventually he figures out that he just really, really likes the way that Daredevil and the Punisher look covered head to toe in the blood of his enemies and he more or less decides to keep them.

Matt is working on taking down a new criminal gang, but Frank hears through the grapevine that this gang are planning to kill Daredevil and they actually have the means to do it.

Frank goes over to Matt's apartment and tells him exactly what he has heard, but Matt absolutely refuses to stop in. Frank knows that only a major injury is going to stop Matt pursuing this gang, and it is going to end up getting him killed.

Frank breaks Matt's right arm, then pulls him close and tells him everything will be OK now.

I think this could actually have happened. Fisk/Matt non-con seems to inevitably canon it's a bit of problem TPTB won't actually allow the male lead to be raped (I presume, they really seem to be heading that way)

Gen or Frank/Matt/(Maria?) Time-Travel

So as the result of some wacky, maybe supervillain-related plot device, Daredevil accidentally travels back in time!

Matt being Matt, he clearly sees this as an opportunity to save all the people he didn't manage to save the first time around. I predict mixed results.

But some of the people he *does* manage to save are Frank Castle and his family, but in such a way as to make it obvious that's what happened, whether that means a last-minute rescue, or Matt trying to fill Frank in on what happened to help head things off, or some combination of both.

And now Frank is *invested* in this random crazy guy who literally saved his entire world.

Matt/Foggy, Reconnecting Starts To Feel Like Dating

Some time has passed, a lot of shit has happened. Matt and Foggy have gotten to a place where they're both stable-ish in their lives - Foggy working with the vigilante cases at HCB, Matt maybe working in a legal clinic and with the Defenders and Stick part-time. But they still miss each other.

So they start to make an effort to reconnect. They go out together, do things, have dinner, try to have fun. It's like they're getting to know each other all over again.

It also starts to feel almost like they're... dating.


+ 10 for slooooooow burn and consciously buried pining on both sides.

+ 100 if Foggy brings up some vigilante-related thing during one of their not-dates and Matt thinks, shit, they're going to start arguing again, but it turns out Foggy’s questions are professional - he’s working on a case that DD was tangentially involved in and he’s just looking for some insight. There's more understanding between them than there was before.

+ 1000 if Matt does something to show that Foggy is important or even just *tells* Foggy that he's important to Matt because one of Foggy’s hang-ups after the Castle case is that he doesn't believe that Matt cares as much as Foggy does.

But why would killing be necessary? Most of the times, killing is simply the easiest option, not the only one. It's hard for me to imagine a situation where there would be no other solutions.

Twice now, Foggy's been in hospital, and Matt's been absent. I mean, sure, there were the explosions and the Fisk thing, and Matt needed to stand outside the hospital brooding in case ninjas showed up...but what if there's something more?

What if he just doesn't like seeing Foggy hurt?

Tbh I've always had the suspicion that Matt feels like seeing Foggy hurt, at least when it's somehow related to his Daredevil activities, is one of the few things that would actually really threaten his conviction to continue his work. And Matt also knows that in a way, he needs the Daredevilling and isn't willing to give it up, so it would just add another layer of guilt, maybe make him waver just long enough to make a really bad mistake or something.

Idk, I'm just a sucker for the tiny ball of angst and tangled emotions that is Matt Murdock, so I'm here for this prompt regardless.

Foggy and Trish discover a ~conspiracy~

It amuses me to no end that Foggy now works for Jeryn Hogarth, canonically the lawyer of the Rand family. Especially considering the fact that DD s1 BTS photos show that the truck that was illegally transporting the chemicals that blinded Matt belonged to RAND Oil & Chemicals.

So, how about Foggy finding out that little tidbit of info? And what if it turns out that whatever illegal chemicals were being transported that day, IGH manufactured them?

Idek where I'm going with that, but I just want Foggy and Trish Walker to ally in their investigation into weird corporate/paramilitary illegal dealings.

Or something, whatever.

BONUS: After the fiasco with Simpson, IGH knows there's someone onto them. They decide to tie up all their loose ends and send a specialist to "deal" with the leftover collateral damage. Foggy and Trish have to find a way to protect their dumb siblings-of-choice before someone kills them.

Foggy comes home from HC&B one night to find a perfectly tailored suit hanging in his closet that he knows wasn't there before. There's a note in Matt's (very messy) handwriting, telling him to wear it if things get dangerous.

He's just as shocked as everyone else when their disgruntled client's knife skitters harmlessly off his jacket instead of seriously injuring him.

Matt obviously knows his way around a pool table. Give me anything about that--did he learn from Jack, or from one of Jack's boxing buddies? I'm pretty sure the nuns didn't teach him, but maybe Stick used it to hone his abilities. Or did he do it on his own, maybe hustling pool for a few extra bucks in college? Foggy obviously knows about it--did he learn before Matt confessed to being Daredevil? Or did he just think "well, maybe he can, like, smell the paint on the balls or something."

OP is partial to Matt/Foggy or Matt/Elektra, but would be happy with any pairing or no pairing.

Matt and Frank - Torture

Sometime soon after the end of S2, the bad guy(s) catch Matt and Frank. They interrogate each man individually, while the the other watches, hoping that if they don't break on their own, perhaps watching a friend get hurt will do the trick.

Except: they aren't exactly friends. But Matt recognizes Frank helped him on the rooftop and that he saved Karen. And Frank respects Matt.

Maybe this does trigger some PTSD in Frank (either from the war or his experience with the Irish), or maybe it brings out his protectiveness; maybe Matt is in a bad place because of what happened with Elektra, or maybe it's energized him to survive. Maybe this is where the issue of Matt's identity comes up? It's up to you! But I'd love to see them forced to recognize the things they have in common (rather than the difference in methodology) and take care of each other as best they can in a shitty situation.

And, you know, whump. Lots and lots of whump.
