Claire+foggy- helping the other heal

Claire actually tells foggy what happened during the attack on the hospital and this leads him to share what went down in the da's office. I just need them to both deal with these traumatic experiences and forming a bond outside Matt.

Plus is about time someone took care of Claire.

I haven't found any but I thought an au where Matt ends up in the arena would be very interesting. I don't think the Capitol would have any compunction about sending in a blind kid, but it'd be fun to see a story especially if Matt wins.

Oh wow there are so many ways this could go.
Did Matt volunteer in Foggy's place? Does he try to hide his abilities from the arena cameras?
Is Elektra a career who decides, hey, she likes this adorable and violent blind kid so she's going to help him/kill people for him?
Is Frank a dangerous and unpredictable tribute from a poorer district like 12? Or is he aware of the approaching rebellion and stockpiling weapons for it? I can see him breaking into the arena to rescue tributes.
What about Karen? Instead of a mysterious dark past is she haunted from being the victor of a previous game?
I really want to see someone's take on this.

Karen + Frank, Punishers

There was a prompt a few months ago about Karen becoming the Punisher, killing people Matt wasn't willing to kill.

Well, let's see that same concept only she becomes the Punisher under Frank's guidance. Maybe it starts off with Frank realizing that Karen has a knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and teaches her how to defend herself. Maybe he finds out about Wesley.

And so she starts helping him kill people to clean up the streets.

Does Matt find out? How does he respond to this?

Matt inherits Elektra's fortune after she dies

She was the type to drop a substantial amount of money in his firms account just for the lols. I feel like she'd want to make sure that if she died her money would go to someone who she loved, who she was close to, and who's not an absolute arse. And I think she'd want him to be taken care of as well...kinda like a 'sorry I died' gift.

What's Matt's reaction when he finds out? How does it impact his grieving progress? Idk, I've seen lots of prompts with Matt being poor and struggling after season 2 but what if he's suddenly super rich. But alone. Because Elektra is dead and he's isolated from his friends.

I'd like angst but happy angst? Matt finds a way to stumble through. Idek. Just something to do with Matt inheriting Elektra's wealth.

Karen, Backstory

Let's get some Karen backstory speculation going on! I want to see fic speculating on her backstory, what happened with the car crash her brother died in, and whether or not she was telling the truth when she told Wesley that she'd shot someone before.

I have no strong opinions on how this should go, I'm just excited to see what people come up with!

Considering that "what makes you think this is the first time I've shot somebody?" line from S1, and now that news article ...

My working theory is that her brother was killed in a car accident but the driver survived, or whoever smashed into the car survived, and escaped prosecution for whatever reason. So Karen took the law into her own hands.

Personally I prefer the idea that she's shot someone before, because that's not what you expect from the "damsel in distress" archetype she resembles at first in the story. Daredevil and Jessica Jones like to play with archetypes and subvert them, and I really hope that's what they're doing with Karen.

The three of them are teamed up when Elektra and Matt get deaged by the bad guys because reasons. Frank thinks he's going to have to protect two defenseless kids, and is pleased (but also disturbed) to find that he is wrong.

Matt Murdock/Veronica Mars - Canonically, they both went to Columbia Law. Canonically, they are also about the same age. Canonically, Veronica is attracted to slightly shady dudes with mysterious pasts and anger management problems, and Matt is attracted to women who emotionally eviscerate them. I want to see it in all its glorious fucked up beauty, but I doubt anyone will ever write it, myself included.

Foggy and Matt have to pretend they don’t know each other (Matt/Foggy)

There’s a high class party or event that Foggy is invited to and Matt crashes for investigative reasons. They bump into each other. Foggy almost blurts out Matt’s name, but Matt manages to get Foggy to agree to keep Matt’s cover for the night. Which is a good thing because said cover is very nearly blown, but they manage to convince the suspicious person (the host? someone with influence over Foggy's career?) that Matt is Foggy’s date.

So now Foggy gets to walk around with Matt acting like they’re together when they’ve barely said ten words to each other for - however long it's been.


Bonus if Foggy gets to spill some gossip about their fellow party goers which may or may not help Matt's mission.

Double bonus if Matt has a hard time letting go of Foggy’s arm when they have to separate.

Triple bonus if Matt inadvertently reveals that he's been keeping tabs on Foggy.

Matt attends a bar association event at Foggy's behest. When he accidentally spills wine on another guest – there was no subterfuge there, just exhaustion – he catches the man's eye. A man too wealthy and too powerful to ever accept no. When he sees something he likes, he takes it. Even if it means lying through his teeth, which he is exceptionally good at.

So, he starts courting Matt. Perhaps, in the beginning, Matt's receptive. His heart is still broken from Elektra and his life is only beginning to come together again. The man is charming and seems kind...until he isn't, doing something that Matt finds completely distasteful and Matt politely declines any further dating.

This guy doesn't take no for an answer.

You can take it as dark as you want from there.

(Bonus points for Frank somehow helping Matt when he's out-of-uniform.)

I was reading this article about the new costume and there's this quote from Charlie Cox about how easy it is to get into the new one.... So, that means, the, um, reverse would be true, too, huh? Um, please do something with this...

Claire/Elektra, first meeting AU (among other things)

So, let's say Claire doesn't know Matt - and Elektra has been living in NY for quite some time, doing what she does, staying away from Matt, etc. The two ladies meet under sketchy circumstances (perhaps Elektra gets injured, and Claire predictably finds herself involved and helps fix her up). They form an unlikely friendship of sorts, with Elektra randomly making an appearance every now and then.

This can lead to sex and/or romance, unhealthy/manipulative dynamics (bc this is Elektra we're talking about...), straight up pwp, etc. I would just like to read these two interacting in some form or another. Honestly, the whole 'odd friendship that leads to something more' nonsense is A+, so anything in that realm is greatly appreciated. ALSO having the character as /in character/ as possible, please! (I'm a tad more flexible when it comes to Elektra, to be honest.)

Some possible little bits that I'd bee 100% here for, depending on the scenario:

- Elektra pampering the hell out of Claire. (She works hard, and Elektra /does/ appreciate that... in her own way. And it'd be a crime not to spoil & worship such a magnificent woman, duh.)
- Claire not taking any of Elektra's bullshit, Claire knowing what Elektra is all about & having v mixed emotions while desperately sticking to her guns, and so on.
- Elektra training Claire. I don't know, something something sweaty women... you get the drift.
- As far as kinks go: enthusiastic consent yo, rough-but-not-too-rough sex (hair pulling, nipple play, slapping, scratching, breathplay), teasing teasing teasing, orgasm delay/denial, name calling + talking shit (v mild, like, 'is that it?'; 'you're fucking weak'; etc.), realistic portrayals of two ladies getting it on, esp w/r/t orgasms and the like.

Frank is an ex military widower who now works at an animal shelter (Maybe Punisher by night?) Matt finds an abused animal on the streets and takes it to the shelter, and falls head over heels for Frank, who is more than a little smitten with Matt.

Foggy's new clientele

What cases does Foggy end up taking on? Vigilantes, powered individuals, newly woken Inhumans? Who does he end up meeting?

Jessica Jones or Danny Rand, Coulson when SHIELD decides to butt in?

Does he get Hogarth’s firm to take on not-so-rich clients as long as their cases have a point of Particular Interest? Does he get a professional visit from the Black Widow once he starts making legal waves?

Basically this is Foggy slowly being introduced to the heroes / anti-heroes of the MCU and defending them when they need it most.



+10 if Matt secretly sends one or two potential clients his way. So do Karen and Claire. His business card travels far in certain circles.

+100 if meeting and defending these people helps Foggy to better come to terms with Matt’s vigilante-ism.

+1000 if he doesn't admit it out loud, but after each case he uses what he learns to beef up the Daredevil defense file he’s got waiting in the back of a drawer.

(If pairings come up, OP has a soft spot for tentative Matt/Foggy. :))

Post season 2, Matt's feeling really lonely and decides to try to reconnect with Karen. Problem is, when he gets near her apartment he senses Frank in there with here, and hear's them confess their feelings to each other.

Up to a!a whether or not he sticks around to hear things get heated between them, and his reaction towards Frank/Karen. Is he sad that Karen has moved on? Is he angry that Karen has moved on with someone like Frank?

After the big reveal, as he explains his heightened senses and how he was trained as a child in the martial arts by this blind old man to be a soldier in preparation for a coming war... He's something like, "...Stick, you've met him, actually. He, ah, let you into my apartment that night. And, the woman, Electra, she was another one of his child soldiers and had taken a poison blade to the gut while fighting an army of ninjas in the building that was Elena Cardenas's... If Stick hadn't been able to cobble together an antidote using common household items found around my apartment in time... Well, she died, later, anyway, defending the city, you know, that night you were kidnapped by the ninjas with all those other people I'd saved..." (He carefully avoids the whole promise to go where Electra goes afterwards if they survive...)

God, I hope somebody does this better than me. lol

Frank/Matt, priest!Matt

Matt is a priest (whether he's also a vigilante is up to you). Frank Castle, lapsed Catholic, decides to drop in -- while still talking himself up for a murder spree, or after his first few kills.

Frank thinks he can just unload in the booth and get away, but Matt engages him with more ferocity than he expected, and soon they're drawn into a debate that actually halts Frank for a while.

Some guys who are after Frank notice that he cares about this one priest, and kidnaps him. After playing helpless for a while, Matt gets impatient/starts feeling genuinely threatened, and kicks their ass (whether or not he's still daredevil -- he still has his training). When Frank shows up, ready to rescue him, Matt's panting and searching for a plausible explanation to give to this terribly vulnerable man who's a raw mirror of his most terrifying self, but all he can muster is "...See? It's possible to do this without killing anyone."

Frank is sold. They team up, have a lot of UST, fight crime, make out, and there is priestly guilt about said making out because I am a terrible person and this is my kink sorry.
