Daredevil and/or Matt Crashes Foggy’s Dates (Matt/Foggy)

When Foggy used to say he wanted Matt to come out with him as his wingman, this is not what he had in mind.

But maybe it’s just coincidence. Maybe Foggy is just dating dangerous people. But Foggy’s dates keep getting interrupted either by Matt in civilian mode or by Daredevil in punch-y/rescue mode. It’s starting to get a little suspicious, actually.

bear with me here, i have a specific need for matt to get some goddamned sympathy after the unrelenting grind that was s2.

peter's swinging by hell's kitchen and probably cursing to himself about how he needs a thermal spidey-suit for patrolling in winter when he spots someone trying to steal a pack from a homeless guy down below. of course our friendly neighborhood spider-man steps in, only for the guy to pass out at his feet afterward -- racking cough + fever will do that to a body. and then it turns out that in his ragged pack, the homeless guy is carrying daredevil's body armor.

so peter carts him home and nurses him back to health and yeah, yeah, this random (blind!!) guy actually IS daredevil. who's... in a really bad way b/c idk, his professional reputation is utterly shot after the disaster of the castle case and whatever elektra might have left him didn't get processed because her death was never officially reported and therefore matt's been sleeping in the church when possible and subsisting however he can and all he has left is protecting his city, if only this chest cold would go away... yeah.

so it takes awhile because god knows matt hates opening up about his problems and , but somehow peter gets him to talk (or, to his later mortification, break down completely because sick and stressed and grieving, oh matty) and just -- he gets it. peter gets it. like, when the two sides of his life crash into each other, peter tends to prioritize his civilian identity over spider-man as opposed to matt 'i don't need friends i can just be daredevil' murdock, but still, peter would be uniquely suited to understand what the hell matt's been going through for the past few months.

(and meanwhile foggy thinks matt's been running around with elektra all this time and karen just doesn't want to have anything to do with the hot mess that is matt murdock after the daredevil reveal so they aren't even aware of how dire matt's situation has gotten. cue some horrified reactions when they do find out, probably over matt's protests, and then matt snarling about pity because he still doesn't get friendship and yelling on all sides idk.)

would love if this went in a matt/peter shippy direction but gen is a-okay too. i just want matt finding someone who understands the stresses of the vigilante lifestyle, even if peter might not necessarily agree with all of his decisions. matt needs mor frens ok.

+ if peter arranges for hell's kitchen to be covered while matt's recuperating, or doubles up on his patrols himself (which i think would earn him major brownie points in matt's book)
+ peter being pleasantly surprised/stunned when it turns out hornhead's violently grim reputation in no way reflects on the man under the mask -- dorky, dry and witty sense of humor, nerdy laugh. also fuck he's pretty XD
++ for awhile matt's mostly quiet as peter talks to him/at him/to himself, but starts to find his voice sort of soothing in a background noise kind of way. :)
+ peter has the news on and a story comes up about a case HB&C is handling, or maybe franklin nelson as a new member of the DA's office, and matt just can't hide the flicker of expression. :(
+ matt relaxing for the first time in months. people don't do well when they don't have anywhere they feel safe, and even the church is a temporary respite.
+ addressing some of the self-loathing issues. like, it's obvious to matt that karen and foggy are doing so much better without him and daredevil fucking up their lives and peter just. no. :(

(+ frank wondering where the hell daredevil's been. just because red's a sanctimonious pain in his ass doesn't mean he wants to hear he's dead)

And the 1 time he finally admitted it.

In court Frank instantly recognized Matt as Daredevil, but of course he wasn't going to say anything right then and there. Now that he's free and they've got this weird understanding of sorts/almost partnership, it's getting harder not to blurt out something that would reveal he knows that Matt is Daredevil to Matt himself. The fact that he they may also be getting ~closer~ isn't making it any easier.

Foggy/Claire- Post S2 - Romance

Someway somehow, Scott Lang figures out Daredevil has a really acute hearing, to the point that when he's shrunken down Daredevil can hear him without the need for a coms device.

Naturally, the best thing to do is to troll the shit out of Matt because while Matt can hear Scott, Scott's too small to actually pinpoint where he is.

So, can I get Scott appearing randomly to whisper sagely advice in Matt's ear at the most random times? Scott pretending to be Matt's conscience? Keeping an eye on the elusive vigilante and the two end up being good friends?

Just, anything bromancy with these two.

Drift Compatible - Gen or Matt/Frank

Pacific Rim AU. Matt and Frank are drift compatible.

MCU being what it is it seems unlikely that there would be a need for a Jaeger program.... but I don't care about that, so let's make it happen. It's a military institution and Frank's a soldier so someone got the bright idea of offering the Punisher a job as a pilot. And really, Frank's all for it. The only difficulty is that he hasn't found anyone he can drift with.

Given half a chance and the right opportunity though, he bets he and Red would make a good match.

I love the dynamic between Matt and Frank and I would like to explore that more. Matt has always cut himself off from other people (they die or abandon him) so I can imagine he has a terrible complex. I would like to see Matt making new friends in Frank, the Defenders and maybe the Avengers and finding all the love and support he needs there.

No Foggy or Karen unless it is jealousy/sadness on their parts that their friendship has ended with Matt.

I would read the hell out of this. Especially for that last part about Foggy and Karen. And all the support for Matt/Frank broship. Always.

Like, Matt's created a new chapter for himself in his life. And it sucks that his old friendships didn't survive the transition, but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to make new connections.

(Foggy and Karen got Josie's bar in the breakup so one night Matt stumbles into Luke's place, decides he likes the owner, and keeps coming back.)

Omg yes! I almost cried imagining Frank spying on Matt and his friends when at Josie's to see if he has any dishes he especially likes, But Matt catches him before he can leave. Then Matt says," This guy is the one who made those amazing cupcakes Karen!" And everyone's real silent, but Matts a drink little shit and starts giggling, not unlike a teenage girl might I add.

Does he try to pass it off as an accident (I'm blind, you know)? How do Foggy, Karen, Claire respond/cope with this?

Sadly I think Matt would be most likely to attempt suicide by criminal, which wouldn't be recognised as an attempt by Foggy, Karen or Claire - more same old stuff, he hasn't changed.

Frank though, would probably see the difference enough to at least question.

Just a good old fashioned 'Fuck it' Fic: I would LOVE if someone were to write a fic where Matt just takes a moment to think about everything and realises in a small way, stick was right. Friends are (really fucking great) sometimes a bit of a hassle. ( With Matt always feeling guilty when foggy or Karen show concern for his escalating wounds and bruises) and having to explain himself to foggy whenever he puts on the mask starts getting frustrating. Then Matt goes 'Fuck it' and cuts off all ties with his friends (Including claire because matt finds a (shadier) doctor who stitches him up ( but maybe verbally abuses him from time to time and matt just takes it cause he thinks he deserves it, and claire knows whats going on cause the doctor works at her hospital and tends to treat the poorer patients like shit) and Matt lives his life as a hermit who kicks ass and has his own firm, based online. Maybe add a sweet little part where he quits Nelson and Murdock , make it real dramatic and lots of Sassy! Matt please (Mainly cause Matt wants his friends to hate him so they don't try to re-connect with him) and Matt's all like " I'm a grown ass Murdock who don't need no Nelson!" Also an epilogue where each former friend/acquaintance of matt's See's him out and about, maybe as Daredevil, maybe as Matt 'no self preservation skills' Murdock but they see him as individual's (Or group if it's some get together at Josie's (causemattdrivesallhisfriendstodrink)) but to see their reactions, that would be nice(It would give me life actually) Thank you so much for taking the time to look at this prompt cause now my idea is in someone else's brain too. ( Subtle mind control anyone?)

Prompt: Matt was ripped apart in season 2 so I would love to see some payback ( this is based in the middle of season 2,so no dead Electra) Matt is getting sick and tired of explaining himself to foggy and Karen about his vigilante pass times(Karen knows because dammit she has wonderful detective skills and alcohol, which is a grand way of saying Karen got foggy drunk because she wanted to be in the loop for once and foggy spilled everything) And Electra is not making anything better by subtly Manipulating Matty to do Un-Murdocky things like killing these criminal lowlives and joining her and stick. So eventually Matt gets pushed too far, he Snaps ( in an extraordinary fashion) and beats a mob boss to death for shooting a little girl in the face (Or something just as, if not more so evil) of couse matt feels hella guilty afterwards but Electra manipulates him and twists him around her finger so much he doesn't care, and sticks happy, Electra's ecstatic, but Karen and foggy are not.(Claire can be a neutral, not caring what Matt does as long as he's making hell's kitchen a safer place, kind of person in this fic) so Karen and foggy start getting into more arguments with Matt when they find out (and Matt doesn't say a word, he just takes it) Until one day Electra walks into the office with a ( very expensive) leather collar and clips it onto a (Totally preening) Matt who quits the firm while terrifying foggy and Karen (The Murdock devil just BLEEDS through) then Matt and Electra leave ( maybe have hot kinky Domme!Electra and Sub!Matt sex) then Daredevil and Electra tears down hell's kitchens criminal activity and Matt is Electra's lawyer and everything is all fine and dandy for MorallyGrey!Matt Murdock/Dark!Matt Murdock.
