Flirting while pretending they don’t know each other (Matt/Foggy)

Matt and Foggy run into each other at a bar or a party. For whatever reason (to keep up appearances, or because they just start playing a game), they act like they’ve never met each other before.

Then they start to flirt. And maybe it’s something like a joke at first or like a game of chicken, but they know each other too well, and are too far gone for each other, for it to stay shallow for long.


Bonus if one of them gets crazy daring and makes the flirting physical - light touches, etc.

Double bonus if they flirt themselves right into a corner of ‘oh fuck I can’t tell if he’s serious.’

I shouldn't have the mental image of maybe matts exhausted or can't put weight on his leg so frank insists he sits on his knee he's propped out and matts too tired to argue about being a full grown man and not needing his help so he just plonks down and they wait it out. Maybe some... Grinding? I'm going to hell.

Frank/Jack Murdock: Matt gains another father

Frank Castle is a recently widowed man bent on revenge. Before he starts his course of vengeance he meets a man at a gym while gain his strength back up. That man is Jack Murdock is a divorced boxer with a recently blinded son due to his heroism.

They hit it off.

It's an odd attraction for both men but they're not fighting it.

The Punisher is still a thing that is seething in the back of Frank's mind but he's kind of distracted by helping Jack with Matt.

Jack fails to fall to Creel.

Instead of killing Jack Murdock they take his son.

Frank Castle refuses to lose another family.

Gen or Frank/Matt; Punisher: War Zone Plot, Avengers lock Frank up, complete Isolation

In the comic mini-series Punisher: War Zone #1-5 (2012-2013, by Greg Rucka), the Avengers have enough of Franks murdering ways and chase him across the globe. Since they are not criminals in his eyes, Frank refuses to use crippling or killing force on them, so eventually, they catch and defeat him.
Do they put him on trial again? No!
They lock him up in a specially made high security prison under total isolation, with absolutely no trial in sight. He is there for weeks, if not longer.

What if this plot happened in the MCU? When Matt finds out about the situation, how will he try to help Frank? And will he do it as Matt Murdock (his lawyer demanding visitations, trial and better conditions? Trying to bring a public outcry?) or as Daredevil (planning to break Frank out? Appeal to his "fellow heroes"?)
There is no way in my eyes that Matt Murdock wouldn't try to help in this scenario, but depending on his state, he may just not be able to do much.

How does the isolation affect Frank? How will it change his relationship to everyone else when Matt is the only person trying to help him? (will either of them decide that the Avengers deserve to be prosecuted/punished? How?) And can one lowly lawyer/vigilante really go up against the overwhelming might of the Avengers?
If they do get him out, can Frank stand being close to another person at all? Will he latch onto Matt as his lifeline?

Would love you forever if you give the story a happy ending, with a Frank/Matt spin or just friendship, but if it takes you in a different direction, I'll be happy to read it :)

Please no physical torture, rape or character death (at least for Frank and Matt); the torture should be all mental through the complete isolation, maybe with some halucinatory episodes?
Physical pain through neglect or malnutrition are okay, just please no "secret hydra scientist experiments on him" or "guards try to have some fun" scenario. The only people interacting with Frank are imaginary/from memory or later Matt (maybe one of the Avengers at the end, if they see the error of their ways).
Wounds through self-harm and escape attempts are okay as well. (he might even get far enough to see guards, but does it help or hinder his mental state?)
Would be lovely if Matt and Frank somehow work together to get him out, in whatever way works best.

It would also be interesting to see if this changes how Frank views Captain America. At least in the comics, he respects Cap so much, that he absolutely refuses to even fight against him; he goes berserk on anyone that disrespects Steve. I wonder if the MCU version would be the same, and if it screws with his mind a bit more?

Gen, Matt and Elektra mourn Stick, to everyone else's horror

AU where Stick died at the end of S2, Elektra and Matt don't run away, and there's reconciliation with Foggy, Karen, Claire, hell maybe even Frank. Everyone else recognizes that Stick was like a father to Elektra and Matt, and let them mourn.

However, Matt and Elektra start reminiscing about Stick...promptly horrifying everyone else as they realize that wait a minute, these weren't just kids who got martial arts training while young, they were literal child soldiers. Matt and Elektra are fondly looking back on things Stick did to train them, and everyone else is trying to convince them it was abuse.

(OP is open to Stick having sexually abused them, too, if filler would like to go that route.)

(Also, OP is a multishipper and would not mind any pairings, but just wants the focus of the story to be on Matt and Elektra looking back fondly on an abusive Stick, while everyone else is horrified by what these two have been through and what Stick has done to them.)

-Karen and foggy are lawyers and Matt is their part-time assistant who still manages to convince them to take on the Castle case
-Frank flirts a lot with Daredevil and has no idea that he's a teenager
-Foggy and/or Karen know that Matt has a crush on Frank and are very against it
-Matt knows Peter Parker (who is still a bit younger than him) and they have a very brotherly relationship

Everybody think Elektra is Black Sky like in the show, but twist is that it really is Matt. Stick knows that when start train him as a boy. So becasue nobody knows what Black Sky powers really are is up to author to explain why Matt is BS and why everybody think it's Elektra.

With Anger or Fear or even Sadness is in charge in Matt's head, instead of Joy. Given the kind of mess Matt is, how warped are his emotions? Give me Disgust whose disdain for foods that go against their senses being only outmatched by her/Matt's disdain for himself. Joy finds happiness in the weirdest of places, including places she maybe shouldn't.

The more fucked up the better.

God yes.

And what if Joy taking the controls for the first time in a LONG time happens on the walk home from beating up the rapist father? Matt's blood is singing, the sounds and scents and the pure simple air of the city feels like a thing of beauty, and he did something useful. But that doesn't change the fact that he just punched a man into a bloody pulp and left him knocked out in an empty train yard for someone to find in the morning.

Or when he throws the human trafficker/kidnapper off Claire's roof? It's fuelled by Anger for sure. But there's no denying that Joy had the reins for a second when he went over the side into that dumpster.

Matt angst - The first person he "saved"

Matt started his Daredevil thing when he saved a girl being molested by her father. Well, that man got out of the hospital, healed and moved out of New York. He didn't stop hurting his daughter and maybe his wife too? Maybe he even led to their deaths? Matt somehow finds out and wonders if Frank had a point about making sure violent offenders can never reoffend.

When Foggy gets a new apartment and slowly starts to adjust to having a higher standard of living, one of the first things he does is get silk sheets. He tells himself it's because he crashed on Matt's a couple of times and liked the feel of them, and it is totally not because in spite of everything he's hoping someday he and Matt will reconcile and Matt will be willing to crash at his place when he's injured or tired from the streets, and it is definitely not because he's got truly absurd fantasies about Matt being on his sheets for more carnal purposes.
He tells himself this until Matt does end up on his sheets for initially the first reason, and then later the the second.

Matt vs. Marci

Matt goes with Foggy to L & Z to talk to Marci about a case, and Matt has 0% chill. He's all over Foggy, constantly bringing up their firm and their partnership and suddenly needing Foggy to guide him more than usual. Marci, not being the type to let anyone step on her, matches him jab for jab, subtly reminding Matt which one of them actually knows what Foggy's like in bed and overtly flirting with "Foggy-bear" to make her point. Foggy is flustered and confused and very aroused.

I'm always a sucker for possessive!Matt, please do indulge me.

+10 if Matt/Foggy aren't dating (yet) and Foggy is all 'wtf' about the situation

Matt & Frank or Matt/Frank, previous Matt/Foggy, ageplay

Matt and Foggy were dating and also, occasionally, engaged in ageplay, with Foggy as the caregiver. (Title up to you--sexual or nonsexual up to filler.)

But the end of S2 also entails a breakup, and the next time Matt slips into that headspace (probably unintentionally) there's a lot of crying over now that Foggy's gone.

Frank breaks into Matt's apartment at the same time (to talk to Daredevil? Troll him?) and hears the crying, goes to investigate, and is put in the very awkward position of trying to soothe a very upset little!Matt, who then latches onto him because of how good Frank is at it.

A relationship develops from there; initially, Frank and Matt just don't talk about it, except when Frank drops by and Matt's little, he takes care of him. Later on, they start to trust each other more in Matt's adult headspace as they work together.


Bonus: Foggy, post-reconciliation, is okay-ish not dating Matt anymore, but is kind of freaked out/hurt that the Punisher is little!Matt's caregiver now.

Matt and Foggy get stuck somewhere sketchy. Part of the place incorporates an underground fight club. They are definitely not supposed to be there.

When some thugs come by to kick them out and/or beat them up, one of them decides to bluff their way out of it by saying Matt’s there to participate in the fight and Foggy’s his handler.

And so Foggy gets to watch as Matt goes into the ring to take down guys twice his size.


+ 1 if Matt keeps his skills dialed down, but there’s no way his pride is going to let him lose a fight. (especially not in front of Foggy?)

+ 10 if Matt does this shirtless.

+ 100 if Foggy is, in fact, very impressed. In a pants way.

Matt, overcoming the little things, dealing with blindness

Matt may have his Radar Sense/World on Fire and have a bit of a heads up on most other blind people, but he is still 100% legally blind. No light perception.
He may have 360° "vision", perfect balance and knows where everyone in a room is, but that doesn't help him with all the little things most sighted people take for granted.
He can't recognize bills of money without a special technique (folding them or an app, but even those rely on other people or are very slow); he can't read normal books, flyers or newspaper anymore.
He walks to his favourite little supermarket? Too bad, they moved, he couldn't see the signs and now he's in the middle of a sexshop without knowing.
He has no way of knowing if somebody is wearing a uniform or special clothing to denote their job/status. (Yes, he may smell "gunpowder, leather" on a policeman, but that would be true for half the criminals in HK as well). (ah, your employees wear red polo shirts? Too bad, so does every other person in your shop).
He needs to have his home and workplace in a specific order to know where everything is. What if the order is messed up somehow?
He can't tell one colour from another (it's not like a red leather jacket feels different from a hot pink one), so he has to rely on other people to buy clothes and label them. I bet it took quite some time until he wasn't fashion-challenged anymore.
Many people would be insensitive or just have no idea how to deal with a blind person. Imagine getting grabbed by well-meaning strangers who drag you across the street or people speaking to him like they would with a very young child, as if his blindness also makes him stupid.
Meeting new people could be very awkward, if they don't quite know what to do. Do they announce their every action (I just blinked; my hand twitched), do they just use non-verbal cues and forget Matt can't see them? Do they use words like "take a look/see you later" and then get flustered and awkward?


I would love to have little snippets of Matt (of any age) having to deal with little things tripping him up, everyday situations that get so much harder when you're blind. Maybe a 5+1 of "Five things Matt has to learn to deal with his blindness, one where his blindness is an asset" or something similar?
I'm a big Frank/Matt shipper, but would love a gen story as well :)

Please excuse me if I made any mistakes or derogatory remarks, that was not my intention. I would just love to see a story that focuses more on Matt dealing with things every blind person has to learn, instead of focusing in the things that his super-heightened senses tell him.

This is a really good prompt. I think a lot of fics don't deal with the fact that despite his superpowers, Matt is still going to struggle as a blind man.

What it says on the tin. Would prefer dubcon or total consent, but non-con that slips into dubcon works too. Pwp works, but if you wanna add some plot that's great too. Would prefer little to no angst (his catholic guilt is fine, but no Holding-him-captive-forever or bad-guys-are-essentially-raping-him type angst) and no mpreg or egg stuff, please.

Basically OP would prefer this to be all about Matt, his heightened senses, and his own pleasure. Can be shippy or not at all. Any and all ships work as long as they're mutual.

Bonus points for praise kink if you go the shipping route.

Some time in the future when Matt’s not with either Elektra or Karen, Elektra shows up in one of Karen’s new haunts to needle her / seduce her. And Karen likes being tempted.


+ 1 if Elektra brings up Matt and what he was looking for in each of them.

+ 10 if that’s not what they see in each other. (ex, maybe Matt saw simplicity in Karen - something good that would make him a better man. Elektra looks at Karen tells her she sees endless, messy complexities and a drive that sometimes doesn’t care about what gets in her way.)

+ 100 if after a bit they stop talking about Matt completely.

Matt is kind of depressed since Elektra's death. He's moping and may have channeled his need to love things into saving a myriad of creature from the various dumpsters he's made contact with.

So far he has a litter of cats with their mum, a litter of baby raccoons who see him as their mum (and the cat has adopted them too), now he has a baby rat.

Someone comes by to check up on him and is surprised to find a greasy haired Matt surrounded by a literal dumpster animals.

At some point in the recent past, Foggy and Luke had a one-night stand. It was perfectly fine and did the job for both of them, but amiable as it was, there weren't any deeper feelings there. They parted on good terms.

Then something goes down that calls for heroics and DD and Luke get pulled in. Foggy almost gets caught in the crossfire, but before DD can rescue him, he's saved by none other than his hook-up from a little while back. Surprise.


+ 100 if after the fight, Foggy flirts and/or leaves with Luke, because why not, and Matt's brain freezes because what. what? in what world is this fair, he never gets to go home with Foggy.

+ 1000 and my kingdom to you if jealous!Murdock is very bad at hiding said jealousy. Surprised and jealous!Jessica could also be a treat, if you'd like, though not necessary.
