Matt is uncomfortable with being an omega. He has immense respect for his gender as a whole, but he's never really come to terms with the fact that it's an alpha's world and he's just trying to survive in it. Whether it's being cat-called, coddled or treated like he's incompetent, it's a source of shame and frustration for him.

Until he meets Frank, who is the first alpha he's met in years that doesn't hit on him or ask him out or mock him or sexually harass him. Frank keeps his hands to himself-except when they're kicking the shit out of each other-and treats Matt like an equal instead of someone weak and vulnerable who needs protecting.

Matt is....caught off-guard by it.

I really just want to see Matt struggling with his self-image and confidence as an omega while dealing with strange feelings for The Punisher. All the points for Frank realizing that Matt is having a hard time accepting himself and offers his respect and shoulder to cry on without expecting anything in return.

A/B/O stories get me. Man feelings get me. I don't know. I just want this!

There is a curious trend in this fandom that Foggy's friends (i.e. Marcie etc) dislike Matt whereas Matt's friends (the avengers etc) all seem to embrace Foggy. I would love to see a fic where this isn't the case and maybe all the Avengers and Defenders love Matt but absolutely hate Foggy. Maybe they don't like his sense of humour, they find him irritating, emotionally abusive, whatever really. It could be funny or sad or just an angsty story of people sticking up for Matt over his old friend.

Foggy and Trish start dating because why not. Jess and Matt begrudgingly combine forces to split them up because they're big jealous babies who can't be honest about their feelings.

+ if both Jess and Matt are in denial about their Very Gay Feelings for their BFFs and justify their jealousy as a "he isn't good enough for her/she isn't good enough for him" thing.

I'm just imagining that Foggy and Trish weren't originally all that serious about this relationship (it was fairly casual, they were both on the rebound, etc.) But of course, their reaction to other people trying to break them up is to dig their heels in deeper...at least until, talking to each other, they realize what's really going on with Matt and Jessica. Then they engage in Maximum Troll Mode to get their respective emotionally constipated vigilantes to say their feelings outloud.

Foggy - loneliness and depression

Post S2, Foggy is extremely lonely and depressed. Matt's gone, Karen's busy with her work and for whatever reason others (Marci, Brett etc.) aren't really there. Add that to maybe pressure from his new job and Foggy's really struggling with his emotional state.

Feel free to run with it, but OP does love hurt/comfort. I'd love someone to help in the end.

Alright so, I interpret that little freak out Matt had in season 2 episode 2 as a sensory overload episode, and it got me thinking about autistic Matt headcanons.

And, what if, Matt was growing up autistic and with super senses, and being taught that love itself was a weakness, what if Stick taught him that things like stimming were weak? Or things like freaking out when he had sensory overload was weak?

Cut to years later and Foggy notices that Matt really likes the feel of certain things and never talks about the sensory overload episodes that he has. He'll call Foggy to help, then never mention them again, as if embarrassed. Which, he is.

SO...Foggy decides to help him by encouraging him and just, telling him that doing what makes his body feel better is okay and not weak at all. He even buys him stimming stuff like play foam or kinetic sand, goo, etc.

Yeah. I just have a weakness for Foggy helping and taking care of Matt since Matt is so rigid that he hardly let it happens.

Bonus-Just, fluffy relationship stuff. Not too much strife and fighting.

So in this poly world (I call it poly because being bisexual doesn't mean you date two people at the same time, and in a world where majority is bisexual people would probably call hetero- and homosexuality a choice much more often but I doubt it would automaticaly make polyamourous relationships normative) four-sided relationship is standard? I mean, in all the relationships you mentioned there are no female lover for the women, and they are supposed to "have one male partner and one female", as you say, so the relationships you are listing are seen as deviant in that setting. Is that intentional?

For obvious vigilante reasons Matt's social circle is kind of limited. For paranoid reasons Foggy and Karen's social circle is very limited. For legal reasons Frank's circle of acquaintes is kind of limited.

As a result their dating circle is limited. The result is awkward dating amongst themselves. Foggy and Matt give it a go. Breakup. Foggy and Frank give it a go while Karen and Matt try again. They break up. Karen dates Frank. Foggy dates Claire. Etc

Eventually they realize they've all basically played musical chairs with each other (sometimes more than once) and try to branch out.

+Bonus Eveyone but Matt somehow end up dating Stick.

Foggy responds to the observation wth a fierce "Daredevil? Yeah. He's my best friend," which causes matt to absolutley melt because he knows that Foggy Does Not Approve of his being DD. Matt, sure. but DD? No way.

I'd really like a fic where Matt sometimes subs to Foggy, and this time he's going to go out as DD even though he's visibly exhausted. When nothing else works, Foggy uses his Dom Voice / tries to put Matt in subspace to make him not go.

This leads to a lot of justified anger on Matt's point, and maybe he realizes that Foggy keeps bringing in the kink without actually asking Matt first for consent (using Dom Voice / manipulating Matt into subspace / framing Matt's 'not now' as his own internalized shame) and it's messy and angry and complicated and Matt is in the right but would rather not leave Foggy long-term.
