Can be college-aged but I think it would be interesting to see him delve into this new "hobby" a little later in life, maybe when things between him and Foggy go south and he needs the money but doesn't think he'll be able to hold down a steady job at a law firm.

The details don't really matter all that much, but angst is great. I don't think Matt would be proud of what he's doing and being treated like a piece of meat is a nightmare for his mental health (which already is kind of shaky). And if you choose to incorporate any pairings I'd first and foremost prefer Frank/Matt then Foggy/Matt.

Also dub/non-con is not required but seeing as it is a prostitute AU I thought it warranted the warning. I would not however be opposed to an overly enthusiastic client who quickly gets a little taste of Matt's other night time activity.

Some time after season 2, one of Matt or Karen crashes at the other's place for some reason, even though things are still strained between them. He insists she takes the bed, of course. So she's in it, he's on the couch in the other room, and she starts masturbating, knowing he can hear her. Then she starts talking about just what they could be doing if he hadn't been a lying idiot. She makes it very clear that she still wants him, but is still too angry to let it happen tonight.

Matt's always followed his father's footsteps and taken care of his own injuries. Stick encouraged it. The nuns were angry when they'd find out he got hurt, because they had to fill out a lot of paperwork and could be held responsible. So it was best if he didn't tell them.

So when 18/19 year old Matt cuts himself badly enough to need stitches, he does them himself. No biggie. It's what he's always done. It's what he assumes other families do too.

Then Foggy's mother uses her all knowing mom powers and finds out. She's horrified. Foggy's parents drag him to the hospital, hold his hand, check on his wound, and just give him the biggest dose of tlc he's ever had. They explain it's not a blind thing, but something they'd do to any of their other kids including Foggy. Matt's so confused.

So Foggy made a line that all the women Matt is with are supermodel gorgeous and so far all the show women he has dated are conventionally attractive.

Just for a subversion of the issue, Elektra is not conventionally attractive and how it (doesn't) affect a relationship with Matt. How also would this change her character?

Stick never taught Matt. Matt was sent to a residential mental health facility.

Stick never taught Matt. St agnes transferred Matt to a long term mental health facility was poorly funded and mainly just pumped him full of drugs to stop him screaming.

He spends a number of years practically catatonic due to constant sensory overload and drugs making it even more difficult for him to concentrate and block the stimuli out.

Along comes high school / college / lawyer age Foggy to volunteer who coming from a large family has several relatives with autism, so recognises sensory issues and decides to try working with this 'hopeless case.' He does a ton of research and puts Matt on a sensory diet (a treatment for sensory processing disorder), massage, decreasing sensory input, meditation, deep pressure (including firm hugs, therapy vests, weighted blankets) and helps Matt learn to cope in a non Stick the dick way.

Bonus points:

Matt is soothed by the sound of Foggy's voice, loves listening to his heartbeat, and absolutely laps up every bit of affection Foggy gives him after being largely neglected.

He's instutionalised so has to be retaught basic tasks like dressing, washing, etc, as he hasn't been allowed to do them for a long time.

He's been practically catatonic since he was 10, so in many ways acts that age or younger.

Foggy is is first real attachment since his dad, and Matt latches onto him with the desperation and devotion of a young child to a parent.

Catching up on the academic stuff isn't as difficult since he was way ahead of his peers when he checked out of life, but he was never that good at the social stuff, so is very inept at that.

He may still get his high school diploma, go to college, and become a lawyer, but he's not 'cured.'He still has a number of issues after being instutionalised so long. Less from the sensory issues than the neglect suffered.

matt has anorexia/ednos, foggy's bulimic, and both know (or at least highly suspect) that the other has an eating disorder but neither of them talk about it. except, they care about each other, so they passive-aggressively take care of one another ("hey, matt, they were having a 2-for-1 deal on breakfast sandwiches, here, have the other one." "foggy, would you mind walking home w/ me instead of catching a cab? i know it's a 45 minute walk but it's nice out. give my stomach a chance to settle after the dinner we just had.")

i picture this being college-era but it could be anytime tbh i'm not picky.

bonus points if it all blows up and they have to have an actual CONVERSATION with /feelings/ and things.

I don't have much experience in this area, but I'm pretty sure this isn't how taking care of an "eating disorder person" works. Especially the first one.

Which doesn't mean you can't prompt it or anything, but thought I'd mention.

Yes! I headcanon that she and Frank met in the service, but she either decided not to sign on for more tours, or was discharged for medical reasons (not sure what kind)

I'd really like to see how people's perception of her changes. During the jury selection we saw that men disapproved of The Punisher while women were glad that they werent the only ones afraid to walk the streets at night. Would she briefly be a sort of feminist icon? I can picture her inspiring a lot of roller derby names and outfits. Her face painted onto a pink can of mace. The tumblr discourse to end all discourses. It'd be great

Prompt: Somehow Foggy is under the impression that Daredevil wants him dead. Matt finds out and immediately needs to make this right.

Preferably with a Dark!Matt who kills criminals so Foggy's fears are justified. Romance between Foggy and Matt is a must! The more angst the better!

Bonus points if Foggy knows Matt is Daredevil and has therefore been avoiding Matt (but definitely not a requirement)

What if Matt was an inhuman?

What if instead of getting splashed with chemicals, it was those crystals - that terrigen mist, and that's how Matt's eyes became non-responsive to light and he gained his enhanced senses?

I'm not that familiar with the comics version of the Inhumans, but I've been watching Agents of SHIELD on Netflix. I was thinking it might be fun to see Stick and Gordon interact. (I've kind of got his head cannon going at the moment where Stick is at odds with the Inhumans. But, for whatever reason, he wants to recruit Matt.)

Also, if the Inhumans abduct a young Matt for his "own good" what the ramifications might be - that could be a fun one. Maybe see what lengths Jack will go to in order to bring his son home? (Maybe somehow Jack and Stick team up?)

(For added fun, maybe Foggy's one, too? And they meet after they've been captured and brought to the "Afterlife"? *shrugs*)

Post season two. Matt can't take the guilt over lying to Foggy and destroying their friendship. He hears something that leads him to seek absolution at the end of a cane/whip. The relatively safe, if very extensive and painful, beating isn't enough though, and the dom punishing him won't go any further and risk actual lasting damage.

Matt sees this person more than one, I'm thinking 2-5 times, before the dom decides to meddle before Matt goes somewhere else and ends up beaten to death. He's heard Foggy's name at some point during a previous session and let's face it, Foggy is a pretty unusual name. He (somehow) arranges for Foggy to stumble upon the aftermath of a session, pre-aftercare. Matt's still tied up, wrists cuffed above his head, covered in deep bruising and welts stacked like neat binder paper lines down his naked back, butt, and thighs.

Cue the comfort as dom turns over aftercare to Foggy and exits stage left, and Foggy realizes just how deep Matt's guilt goes, and how close Matt is to the edge. I'm thinking some tears, some very careful cuddling, and forgiveness from both sides.

I don't know if this has been posted yet, but I know nobody has written it. The relationship between Matt and Stick is very, very complex, and season 2 indicated that Stick actually hung around for some period of time after Elektra's death, through a significant weather shift at least, which is strange for Stick. He's also showing up again the Defenders if the trailer is any indication, so he's around.
