I love outsisde pov fic, there's so many possibilities! Do Matt's neighbors wonder why a blind guy keeps such odd hours? Is there a curious barista wondering about the lawyers that come in every morning? A homeless guy on their block keeping an eye on the nice blonde lady that gives him leftovers? An old lady that sits by her window at night trying to catch a glimpse of Daredevil?

Gen preferred but mild ships are good too!

Claire isn't a nurse - she's pastor/priest/whatever and Matt meets her when he staggers into her (obv. not Catholic) church looking for a place to hide.

Once the danger passes, they get to talking, and he realizes that he's never been in such close proximity to a lady!priest, particularly not one who's so young and smart and obviously sexy.

Cue Matt being guilty and Catholic and wanting.

(idc if they fuck, I just want more of Matt's guilty boner in this world)

Foggy always knew Matt was Daredevil. He figured it out really quickly, maybe he was helping Matt do his laundry or something and found the costume, or just figured it out or whatever.
He just thought Matt was some kind of blind ninja master like in the movies.
Matt didn't know Foggy knew, and Foggy knew Matt didn't know he knew and wanted to keep it that way, because he was waiting for Matt to tell him.

taking two things i love a lot and mashing them together ALWAYS WORKS, RIGHT. anyway foggy is easily freaked out and he gets his hands on a copy of bioshock and plays it with matt sitting next to him. foggy's freaking out about GODDAMN SPLICERS and matt's freaking out over all the gunfire and screaming (he's lost track of which part is the game and which part is foggy screaming).

.... Honestly, I think Matt would cry. XD And be very weirded out and scared and concerned and there'd be so many discussions and not-discussions and I think eventually he'd just have to agree to never think about it because wow.

I mean, I'm an atheist and I've had many religious friends and some of them have even tried to "save" me because they were genuinely worried for the state of my soul. So... yeah.

Matt/Foggy, Never Been Kissed AU

Matthew Murdock, a young reporter at the Bugle, moonlights as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. Through both lines of work, he has tracked down the epicenter of a drug trafficking ring in the city.

... The only problem? It's members of the more popular social circles of the local high school. He goes to Ben Urich, his mentor, and his best friend, Karen Page, and they cook up a plan to send Matt in undercover as a senior in high school. But everyone in Hell's Kitchen remembers little blind Matt Murdock, so he has to act like he still has his sight, in addition to managing to infiltrate the upper echelons of the high school crowd. Along the way, he catches the attention of Mr. Nelson, everyone's favorite and highly respected AP English teacher.

It's up to you, for the most part, how closely you follow the flow of the movie. Really, out of everything, I most want the scenes where Matt and Foggy have it out after the truth about Matt's age comes out, and then where Matt is standing on the field, hoping that Foggy will come to him, and then Foggy does come, and he gives Matt his first kiss.

Foggy doesn't really like to think or talk about that one really drunken, really stupid night in college where he decided to get Matt's name tattooed on him in a weird 'property of' kind of way that had made total sense at the time. Matt will never know about it, right. Only, one day, for one reason or another, Karen sees the tattoo and blurts it out and holy fuck, this is really awkward.

And of course, this all leads to Matt finding it ridiculously hot and wish it actually did say property of and basically just lots of sex.

So I figure RPS about superheroes is the kind of thing that's really popular on Tumblr within the Marvel universe.

So suppose a couple of years go by, and while Daredevil has managed to keep his identity a secret, the tabloids have started to pick up that the law firm Nelson & Murdock tends to be associated with a lot of the same cases as Daredevil. The internet collectively comes to the obvious conclusion: suddenly fictional!AO3 is inundated with fic about the epic love affair between the vigilante Daredevil and that really photogenic blind lawyer he probably sometimes hangs out with. :D

I want to read some really horrible fictional RPF, anons, written by fictional authors who scour YouTube for Daredevil sightings, who obsessively catalog every bit of information about Matt Murdock available on the public record (and then some), and who are absolutely convinced that the two are having a tragic, star-crossed love affair.

I also really want to see everyone's reactions to this development.

Bonus points if the villains start picking up on it, too, and Matt starts getting targeted as a way to get to Daredevil. Extra bonus points if he ends up encouraging it, since at least if he's the one getting kidnapped then it's not Karen or Foggy.

Matt, like any other kid in New York, grew up hearing about the famous adventures of Captain America. Steve and Bucky, like any other kid from New York, grew up hearing about the infamous Murdock boys of Hell's Kitchen. Maybe they found solidarity as superstar Irish-Catholics. When they meet in 2015 Matt's tickled bc cool, Captain America. Steve, on the other hand is starstruck bc he FINALLY MEETS A MURDOCK. ANd then asks if he can get an autograph, maybe take a picture (with Bucky if he's there, and who is also similarly awestruck) and Matt doesn't really get it bc he's only Matt but goes with it anyway.
Bonus if Steve doesn't know about Matt=Daredevil, he just likes Matt as Matt.

Inspired by a prompt on the previous page, where Matt bleeds out from the injuries Nobu and Fisk inflicted on him. I want that...but what if Matt managed to strip out of/toss his Daredevil clothes before collapsing? Then Foggy discovers his friend's body naked on his apartment floor after clearly having been beaten to death, but with no idea who/what/where/when/how. How does Foggy deal? Obviously he'll try to get justice for Matt, but how personally? And what does it do to him if/when he figures out that Matt was Daredevil?

So if you're raised Catholic, especially if you're raised devout Catholic-- there's a LOT of shit you repress, sexuality being the top priority. Overwhelming guilt and self-hate if you so much as vaguely look at a member of the same sex with some kind of desire. (I've had to unlearn a lot of shit, guys. Catholic school and church every Sunday...yiiikes.)

Let's say Matt has reconciled his faith with the fact that he's bi, that it's okay to be bisexual and God will still love him.

Now I want Steve Rogers, raised Catholic, have a bisexual panic one day after he kisses a man. Steve runs into Matt somehow-- maybe at a bar and they don't know each others' superhero identities-- and Matt can tell Steve has a lot on his mind, and they get to talking, and Matt tells Steve it's okay to be bi and still be Catholic.

Just give me the Repressed Bisexuals Club, talking about being bi and Catholic and all the confusing shit that comes with it.

Nobu wins, but he's impressed by Daredevil, so instead of killing him, Nobu has Daredevil taken away by his men.

Matt wakes up in an unfamiliar place, probably chained down, where his only company consists of his silent guards and visits from Nobu, who is eager to speak to him. With nothing else to distract him but the incredibly distant possibility of escape, Matt starts looking forward to these visits, whether he wants to or not...
