I'm pretty sure this hasn't been prompted yet, and I have a mighty need. I want a fic where Matt and Foggy are soulmates. Feel free to make them platonic soulmates, or romantic soulmates, or any kind of soulmates! The world is your oyster. Soulmate identifying marks, "the-world-turns-to-color-when-you-meet-them," etc. are all totally fine.

Changling: the lost crossover/fusion

Changling: The lost is a tabletop RPG that is about humans who are abducted by Fae to be used as servants or slaves for any number of horrible things. The people in these situations are often changed in body and mind by the experience, in a way that thematically represents the things they were forced to do/be.
Those who return from the Fae world have to deal with any number of things including; Their fae keeper trying to get them back, the sentient copies used to replace them, integrating into the societies that Changelings create in our world.

Okay so idk about you guys but for me this is SCREAMING for a crossover/fusion. You've got your angst, you've got your body horror, you've got your urban fantasy landscape. possibilities for tearful reunions and expressions of ~feelings~. its all here!!!

possibilities:
> Nelson and Murdock get embroiled in a supernatural court case. somehow.
> The main team find out one of their own is actually a Fetch(copy) when the 'real' character comes back from the fae world. Questions of personhood and tearful angst ensue.
> matt deals with Changlings who think that Daredevil is a changeling himself.
> full on au where all the characters are changlings/fae/fetch/whatever. Matt puts on the mask to fight True Fae garbage and protect changelings and people from being kidnapped.
> someone gets kidnapped but not replaced with a copy. When the team finally get them back they've been gone for a lot longer than they've been missing. (fae time runs on a different schedule)

Was Matt forced to skulk in the shadows so long he /became/ the shadows. Or are he and Foggy Fairest, embodiments of grace and beauty who were forced to develop silver tongues to survive their Fae Keepers. Or elementals?? What things did Karen do to regain her life from the creatures who stole it from her?
What about Vanessa?? Ben?? Brett?? Random civilians in hells kitchen??? Matt's Mum??????

There are so many differnet options available and I encourage you to explore to your hearts content. also I don't really care if you don't meet the 'canon'/established rules of the game/world to the letter. What matters to me is the core of the concept so do whatever you want!

It's my Headcanon that Wesley saw the potential that a younger, much rougher-edged Fisk had as a mob boss back when Fisk was still just a smarter than average boss thug and taught him how to present himself as far more cultured than he grew up being. How to present himself as someone you want to trust with your criminal empire.

That Fisk is smart as hell and, when he isn't pissed off, incredibly calculating is icing on the cake.

So basically anything having to do with that, like maybe Wesley introducing Fisk to bespoke suits or the use of each piece of silverware and dish in a full setting.

My first instinct when i hear mute superhero is Jericho from Teen Titans. But then i remembered that the Ultimates version of Black Panther is mute, and omg he is so the perfect choice for this.

Exactly what it says on the tin. Matt is experiencing sensory overload, bad enough he's in tears, and Foggy is there to help. Mostly by staying close enough to act as an anchor, something for Matt to focus his senses on. Was it actually bad enough that Matt called Foggy for help? Was Matt trying to go about his day as normal, and his control finally shattered? Did Foggy just happen to drop by at the best/worst moment? All up to you!

(I would prefer for this to be post-reveal, and would Very Strongly prefer absolutely no sex)

OK, so I just came across this comment in the thread reg. Hulk/Daredevil:

If I'm not mistaken Hulk is temporarily blinded (anytime a hero in Marvel is temporarily blinded, Daredevil shows up to talk them through the panic and help them deal) and starts destroying Manhattan, and Daredevil shows up, has his usual I WILL PROTECT YOU moments, and then almost gets blown up.

and. I mean. I don't read comics, maybe this is actually handled really well in the comics? Let's be real, there's a very good possibility that it's a really sweet plotline about community and heroes helping each other during their human moments.

But when I read it the first thing I thought was: Oh, Matt, you would be so bad</i at that, and it would be hilarious. Every time some marvel hero gets blinded some angry weirdo (Matt) shows up to chivvy them through it, awkwardly. this is a problem he cannot punch! ARGH, feelings. so like. yes. this is what i want. the story of matt murdock, self-appointed (AND TERRIBLE) therapist/counselor to anyone in the MCU who gets temporarily blinded.

apparently my role in this kink meme is to request weird au's based on obscure media.
Okay so in the 90's there was a show called 'The Tribe'.
Basic summary; Cyberpunk apocalypse!!!! All the adults are dead!!!! social collapse!!! Cults and gangs!!! sustainable living/farming!!!! teen angst!! hope for the future!!
It was ridiculously dramatic and wonderful.

There's also new show on Netflix called 'Between' which is the same basic idea (all the adults are dying) except it's only in one town (not worldwide apocalypse). I haven't finished watching it tho. The general concept of 'no adults' is in a couple of other shows too (Round the Twist, 'world without grownups' event at DC, etc.) and it's always hilarious/upsetting.

I want to see an AU where the characters in the show are kids, all the adults are dead/dying, and they have to deal. You can take as much or as little inspiration from these concepts as you like (although I would love to see the characters in the cyberpunk aesthetic of The Tribe). I leave it up to you to choose how things go down and etc.

bonus points/inspiration:
> Foggy's house accidentally becomes a central location and he somehow manages to collect quite the community in attempting to corral his extended family.
> Matt finds his training from Stick comes in handy rather sooner than he thought as he defends wayward kids from the many gangs that have sprung up.
> Claire is so glad she took those first aid courses/helped out at the nurses office and is maybe one of the most helpful people to have around during the cyberpunk apocalypse.
> Fisk attempts the same 'cleansing' of Hell's Kitchen as he does in the show (the world has erupted into violence as resources disappear and the best way to help is to control everything with an iron fist of course) (he butts heads with matt's crew all to often of course)
> Team Avocados bring back the justice system!!! (or at least try really hard to) (it's better than resolving conflict though dance off, which literally happened in The Tribe once)

So, I have this feeling that Marci and Matt don't really like each other - like at all - and that's the reason Marci and Foggy initially broke up, because Foggy isn't going to date someone who can't get along with his bro.

Except that they started doing the wild thing again after Foggy found out about Matt's Daredeviling. So what if it's a pattern? What if this has happened more than once? I want the fic where Foggy (subconsciously or consciously, up to you) punishes Matt by taking things up with Marci, and then breaks things off again when he and Matt smooth things over. And I want to see Marci call him out on it. For instance, after episode thirteen, Foggy comes over to her apartment and they do the do, and then after, she's like, "That was really something, Foggy, which I guess is good, since it won't be happening again for a while."

And Foggy's just like, "What? What makes you say that?"

"Well, you and Murdock have worked out whatever was going on with you this time, so you don't need me anymore."

And Foggy doesn't even know what to say, because dammit, she's right. And also dangerously close to figuring out exactly why he equates having sex with someone as a way to punish his best friend.

Meanwhile, Matt knows exactly what's going on, and feels hurt by it, but he's used to it, and by now is just hoping at some point Foggy will get a clue and end this awful cycle they're caught in.

Ahem. Yeah. That's what I want.

Foggy hates the Devil because anytime he dies he has to relive the same serious of events over and over again. Not to mention how long it took him to figure out the trigger (especially since it doesn't reset right away either). . Then he discovers its Matt and he's pissed. The first time he hasn't seen the Devil dead. And God damn it Matt.

Now he's terrified hell not be stuck in an infinite loop if Matt dies.

I've read a lot of Matt/Foggy but none of them really focus heavily on their work and what they do so I'd really love something about them working their way through a case for a client. Can be high profile or low profile, I just want something where it's Nelson and Murdock against the prosecution.

Would prefer it if it was pre-slash with some heavy development towards Matt/Foggy becoming a thing but I'm flexible.

Oh God anon you have NO IDEA how much I want this. It's actually a scenario i've been playing with for a while now but the mix of english not being my first language and law terminology being... well, law terminology, has always stopped me from writing anything.
I hope someone that knows what they talkin about will fill this *sets camp*

Nelson and Murdock's spiraling debt issues, Foggy tries to cope

As someone elsewhere pointed out, Matt and Foggy are probably up to their eyeballs in debt. The rent for their office space and apartments, utility bills, paying Karen's wages as well as their own, food and other basics, that $3000 worth of half-broken office equipment... You can see where I'm going. I'd like to see a fic where Matt's all caught up in Fisk and Daredevilling and doesn't notice how dangerously in the red they are, whereas it's all Foggy can think about. And he's not trying to push too hard on the fact that they should really get some paying clients, because he knows that that's never what the practice has been about, but he also knows he's the one having to deal with the letters from the bank, and the bills that keep on coming in. And he doesn't want to worry anyone, because both Matt and Karen have their own problems to deal with, so Foggy does his best to cope.

So his electricity gets disconnected. No worries, he'll do his work at the office. So he starts skipping meals. He could maybe afford to lose a few pounds, it's no biggie. So he maybe starts taking out loans from less than savoury people when the bank starts saying no. It's ok, he'll get the money from somewhere. Things escalate quickly.

He's managing fine, until suddenly he's not.

Bonus for Matt suddenly realising that Foggy is basically running the practice on his own because he's been so caught up in being Daredevil. Cue guilt and angst.
