Could it be that they got stucked right after the interview was over, while going out from the building or also a few days later while going on set? rosario just out of it laughing so hard while charlie does really try to do something mimicking the moves he learned but fails yet does not stop so rosario suggests even more solutions, climbing on the others shoulders, using a pin or something sharp to break open the elevator control pad (idek XD) any other idea along these lines are ok

At some point in the future everything horrible that happened in the comics (Karen dead, most of Matt girlfriends die, Foggy has cancer) happens in the MCU Then, because this is Marvel, that sad future Matt gets transported to the end of season 1 when things are still ok.

What if there was a power outage at night, and for once, Matt was the only person *not* being at a disadvantage?

Would prefer something involving Matt with Foggy, but Karen, Claire and/or other characters is fine too.

Would also prefer Gen or non-explicit fic. H/c would be a bonus, but not a must.

I gotta ask: I've seen a couple fics like this, and I'm always kind of puzzled by the idea that power outage at night = total darkness in a way that would be similar to being blind. Like, do people NOT keep a bunch of candles and flashlights around for just such an eventuality? Especially in a city like New York, which I think used to be *famous* for rolling blackouts/brownouts? Plus everyone has smartphones now, which usually cast enough light to move around even if you don't have a flashlight app on them.

I'm just sayin', I feel like these prompts can afford the up the ante. Maybe everyone gets trapped in a cave-in! Maybe they're out in the woods where flashlights aren't all that useful because it is just *that dark*.

I dunno. I've just never seen power outages as anything more than mildly inconvenient, even at night.

Matt, Assumptions - The Devil's Child

So outsider POV and logical misunderstandings are my thing, and I've seen a few prompts for Matt's mom having a second family, that plus a bit from a fic wherein Matt tells Foggy that he thinks maybe his mom left him because "Murdock boys have the devil in them" have given me this.

Matt's Mom is dead her spouse/adult children go through her stuff and find birth certificate/pictures/a card from Nelson and Murdock, they get in contact with Matt and as they try to get to know him they realises that Matt has Issues.
Especially ones about pain/physical harm, Maybe he gets hurt in front of them or a kid gets hurt and Matt goes "it's just a scratch trust me when I was your age I had X fractures and kept dislocating my shoulder" (because Stick), And so they come to the conclusion that he was abused as a child, but since they don't know how old Matt was when Jack died, (it just doesn’t ever come up or matt doesn’t tell them because leaving your kid with their other parent>leaving them an orphan) They think that Matt was abused by his father

What I’d really like to see is these nice people trying to deal with the fact that this wonderful person that they all loved left a child with her abusive husband.

Bonuses points if it gets assumed that the “accident” that blinded him was head trauma
10X bonuses points if one of them sees Matt loses his temper(like with the chair and the laptop) and thinks that they don’t want him around their family, and then feels guilty about it.

Foggy is not angry at Matt anymore, but he's still traumatized after finding him at the state he was in after the nobu fight. Seeing his best friend bleeding and half dead took a toll. Knowing Matt, Foggy is terrified of something like that--or worse happening again and not being able to do anything, of feeling helpless. So he decides to do something about it, his squeamishness be damned.

Bonus points if Matt only finds out about it after Foggy is required to put his new skills to the test.

Extra bonus points if Claire pops in after and is impressed.

(but um if i were to fill it, i would probably include how while matt obviously has faith and has been significantly shaped by that, he really struggles with seeing how he himself fits in with what he believes? so it might not be a super straightforward explanation or anything, if that's okay?)

Matt/Frank Castle

So I just finished watching Punisher: War Zone and I can't stop thinking about Frank Castle meeting MCU Matt Murdock (admittedly I started watching the movie because I knew Frank and Matt have a complex relationship in the comics and I wanted more fuel for my OTP fire).

I'm pretty open to anything involving this pairing because there is just so much potential with them. Some suggestions:

Punisher comes to Hell's Kitchen and is impressed by Daredevil. He tries to recruit him for his war. Cue fight about morality.

Punisher goes after Matt Murdock for info about a case Matt's working on. Ends up finding out Matt is Daredevil. They end up taking down the baddies together. Could also work as an AU where Matt isn't a superhero (similar to a prompt I posted a few pages ago), but still helps Punisher via research and stuff.

Frank becoming protective of Matt, especially when Frank realizes how much Matt is tormented by guilt for his actions.

Aaaannndddd since this is a kink meme- size kink. Daredevil's a buff guy, but Punisher's huge and would tower over him.

Extra bonus points for an A/O verse with Alpha Frank and Omega Matt.

I haven't seen much about Santino (the kid who found Daredevil in the dumpster), but he obviously knows Matt=Daredevil because in the episode Claire was kidnapped he said (or something along the lines ) to Matt, who was still in his suit and tie as Matt Murdock the Lawyer, "[the russians] took me to the roof where you interrogated [semyon]"

i need something something cute and like santino's outsider pov of whatever is happening with matt in the mask on the news, or Claire checking up on him to make sure he's okay/let him know she's okay(because I'm sure he'd want to know if she got home in one piece after the Russians took her) or maybe even him just taking care of his mom while keeping up with whatever shit is going on out in the streets
