Anything along the lines of this exchange between Foggy and Matt from Waid/Samnee's Daredevil #26:

"Do not go crazy on me now, Matty! You're all I've got right now, man! You're it! You're not here to help me through this, I die! So explain yourself! What has got you so terrified?"

"... That. What you just said. That. I've been trying to figure out why I'm scared, and that's it. If he kills me, where does that leave you?"

(Context is that Foggy's just started chemo, and Matt's being targeted by evil people but anon can ignore that and go for something else)

What if it had been Foggy and not Matt that had saved the old man and been blinded as a result. Maybe he encounters Stick somehow, maybe he doesn't, maybe Matt's dad still died, maybe he didn't. Maybe Foggy uses his abilities to fight crime, maybe he mostly just uses them to find out when women are attracted to him.

Whatever happened in the past, they still end up sharing room at college and going into business togeher. I'd just like to see how the alternate history shapes thier personalities and their friendship.

X-Over Spider-man, Peter brings out Matt's Big Brother Instinct

Spider-man runs into Daredevil and Daredevil, of course, assumes he's an adult and treats him as such.

But then Spider-man gets injured and Daredevil has to carry him back to Claire ("Damn it, Matt, I'm not a mob doctor!") and they discover Peter's a teenager.

Of course makes Matt both furious and overprotective, so once Spider-man refuses to stop going out and saving people, Daredevil starts shadowing him and making sure the baby spider is okay, even after Peter points out that given his power-set, Daredevil's the one more at risk of getting hurt!

Oh man, I'VE had serious discussions about this. (It's super hard, okay.)

Personally I'm fond of both of them being Hufflepuffs. Marci I see as a Slytherin, along with Fisk. I think Vanessa is a Ravenclaw, along with Wesley. For Gryffindor I'd go with Ben and Claire, and possibly Karen. Although I am tempted to put Matt in Gryffindor solely because of the colours.

But yes this is a thing I need.

Fix it fic! Perhaps Wesley is brought back with a wiped memory because of his singular loyalty to Fisk and shield figured he'd be good to have on reserve in case Fisk ever left jail? So one day, not an anniversary or birthday or anything significant like that just a random day Matt wakes up and decide to spoil Foggy absolutely rotten for the day. Like, awesome food and a hot bath and a massage and some random entertainment that Foggy absolutely loves but doesn't indulge in all that often because Matt isn't really into it. And so much hugging/kissing/ cuddling/ making out/ holding hands and lots of really good sex (bottom Foggy please!) and Matt telling him just how awesome and gorgeous and special he is and giving him presents.

Or something along those lines.

Just Matt spoiling the hell out of Foggy until Foggy is a blissed out cuddle monster because Foggy is lovely and deserves all the nice things.

Hulk/Daredevil (yes, you read that right)

Yes, you read that right. I was watching B-Grade made-for-TV Marvel movies on Youtube as you do, and I came across The Trial of the Incredible Hulk. It's basically TV-Hulk meets Daredevil. Also John Rhys-Davies plays Kingpin. It's incredibly hammy and fun, give it a watch if you have the time.

Anyhoos, there's incredible chemistry between both Bruce David Banner and Matt Murdock, as well as the Hulk and Daredevil. It takes watching Daredevil nearly getting beaten to death to make Banner hulk out and Hulk ignores the damsel in distress in favor of carrying Daredevil off to safety. Also when Daredevil touches Hulk's face, that makes him calm down enough to revert back to David Banner, much like Black Widow with the Hulk in Avengers Age of Ultron.

Matt/Foggy misunderstanding

So, back in college, Foggy DID make a pass and Matt said no. They became friends afterwards and Foggy has never let himself think about Matt like that again (except for the quiet apreciation of Matt's ass)

Matt on the other hand, has been slowly falling in love with Foggy until he can't help but to say something.

The problem? Foggy doesn't believe him

girl!Matt, Catholicism

(is this prompt an excuse for me to geek out about female mystics? oh, most definitely.)

So there's a long history in the Catholic church of female religious figures who had (or claimed they had) a direct physical/spiritual connection to God, the Virgin Mary, various saints, or angels- Joan of Arc, Theresa of Avila, Margery Kempe, Hildegarde von Bingen, and a ton of others. So say girl!Matt (Maggie?) is as devoted a Catholic as Matt is in canon- what does that look like? Apparations? Stigmata? Healing powers? Basically I want to see what a girl!Matt whose superheroing is influenced as much by her religion as by her superpowers.

Just, anything with Daredevil somehow becoming friends/sort-of not enemies with Spiderman and Deadpool (if you can fit any other red-costumed heroes in, like Scarlet Witch/Ant Man/Ms. Marvel, great! The more the merrier).

How do they all meet? Do they know each other's secret identity, or does hilarity ensue trying to keep their civilian lives separate? Does Deadpool keep trying to make Foggy become his best friend instead because that one time Foggy made him some microwave noodles and now he's in love and just trying to slowly move into Foggy's apartment and live on his sofa without him noticing (he does)? Does Spiderman one day comment on their colour coordination, and Matt reveals he's actually had no idea this was the case.

Just anything with these guys bickering and fighting crime together would be great.

There was a brief, unpopular run in the comics - I think it was in the late 70's - where Matt had to go into hiding, and he took off his glasses and pretended not to be blind. He made it pretty far, until he witnessed a crime and went to report it, and the police called him out on it because he couldn't describe the man.

Anyhoodle, I like the idea that Matt occasionally goes to a bar outside of Hell's Kitchen and has a hook-up with a girl or guy while not letting on that he's blind. Maybe he has a deal with the owner, where he checks out the place before it opens and gets descriptions of it, then later he shows up, checks his glasses and cane at the door, and just gets an evening off from people feeling sorry for him (or trying to take advantage of him).

Bonus points if it's Steve Rogers, because we need more of that, but it's really okay if it's just a generic person.

I really like this idea. How he would get away with it though, I'm not sure. Underneath the glasses, it'd be pretty obvious to most people that he can't make eye contact.

I'd love to see someone give this a go though, could be seriously awesome.

Of course, she thinks Matt doesn't know she's there, and he has to pretend he doesn't.

Matt is exposed/comes out publicly as Daredevil. (Could be in a Civil War-esque scenerio, but I'd imagine he would be anti-registration, therefore any identity reveal would be the pro-reg heroes playing dirty).

He should have realised it wouldn't only be him who dealt with the consequences.

I know theres already quite a bit of Matt whump out there, but I haven't yet seen one that fits this description: I want a really graphic/descriptive torture scene involving Matt (as Daredevil). Maybe they're trying to get information, maybe they're just angry and want to punish him for stopping them all the time. Somehow after this has been going on for quite a while Foggy or Claire or someone finds him and have to bring him to an actual hospital or something because of his wounds? I dunno, that's up to you lovely prompt fillers.

Matt is very tactile with Foggy, but we don't see him touching anyone else.

Maybe it's a Foggy thing, maybe it's a trust thing??? Maybe it's both?

I just want Matt being really touchy feely with Foggy while his other friends, university mates, coworkers, or even Karen being slightly insulted that Matt isn't like that with them.
