I'm sure my neighbours will be here soon, asking if I'm alright because I am just choking with laughter.

...my neighbors actually HAVE just thumped a broom or something against their ceiling because I was screaming with laughter for a solid minute. I'm not even sorry.

LOL. Back in the 90s, I wrote a spoken word song in which I was "tired of the folks who live downstairs & their silence-hungry broom" (not Daredevil related, sorry; but if there's a Don Quixote kinkmeme, point me at it).
