this is a great, funny prompt and then it gets angsty in the last sentence

It wouldn't be Daredevil without any angst. Like, Foggy would be sitting there lulzing, but Matt would be angsting over his identity issues.

And just imagine all the hate mail he'd get if he tried to openly date anyone else. ;)

ok but karen and foggy thinking it's hilarious even though they're both a little bit... annoyed... definitely not jealous y would u think that...

(karen has met and had the tiniest crushes on both matt & daredevil, and foggy KNOWS but still finds himself weirdly irrationally jealous somehow. who knows

but it's okay bc karen can't see matt being involved with someone so outside the law, no matter how well-intentioned *foggy laughs a choking laugh in the distance*, and even if matt weren't dd, foggy is p sure matt is straight so okay good try fandom)

but then matt goes and gets himself in trouble (aka beaten and kidnapped and unable to blow his cover) over it and it's suddenly a lot less cute

matt is super happy (read: not happy at all, just not in a good place) about it all bc it is the ultimate win? he is obviously not daredevil, ppl are after him and him alone, and foggy and karen have a great! reason! to be more careful and probably distance themselves from him for a while for their own safety (since he can't do it for himself because he is weak, obviously)
