Captain America is a perfect gentleman, possible Cap/Matt

Being blind, Matt is used to complete strangers trying to help him around while out in public. He knows they mean well, but it is mildly irritating.

So he doesn't really think anything out of the ordinary is happening when a well-mannered, chivalrous man takes him by the arm and helps him across a busy New York City street. It never crosses his mind that this man is anyone special. Like, oh, I don't know...Captain America?

Maybe Matt figures it out, maybe not. Maybe he's harboring just a little bit of a crush on ol' Cap and turns into a bumbling, nervous puddle of mush. Because, I'm sorry, but I can totally see level-headed Matt Murdock swooning in the presence of Steve freaking Rogers.

Daredevil/Foggy Night encounters

His new job comes ith a few ups and down.
Ups the money he is making it's pretty good.

Down Dealing with "people with complexities" is hella hard and more and more people is trying to do something to him, the money heis making it's not that good but it0s is job and he kinds of loves it.

Everytime something really bad is about to happen Daredevil is there to save him, they don't talk, they dont even aknowledge each other but there is always this tension between them that anyone around caughts.

How Foggy deals with Matt saving him everytime, will he feel Matt is following him because Matt is there everytime?

How will Matt respond if Foggy confronts him. I would lik for Matt to get mad and say something like that everything doesnt revolve around Foggy, that tehre are more important things.

They will try to hurt each other but they are always together.

Foggy + Guns... After the Punisher aftermath, he buys one

Matt is no longer in his life and Hell's kitchen is still as dangerous as ever. No matter how hard Matt tries there is always somethinglurig in the shadows.

Foggy goes to a shooting training center and he gets pretty good at it and buys himself a gun, he says it's just in case, he will never use it.

Until one days he does to save Karen. e is not in shock as he supposed he was gonna be, he was pretty collected and he decided to dump the river somewhere alone, he sent Karen home.

Foggy liked to kill that guy. He wanted to do it again so he does.

+ If Heever teams with The Punsiher and The punisher is not impressed at first.

+++ If Brett somehow finds about the other bad guy killer is Foggy and he corners him to talk to him about it as friends.

Title. Just give me something small and emotional about Matt waking up in the middle of the night just absolutely sobbing with grief.

So maybe it's been a few months after Elektra's death now. Matt's coping. He's not over it, he may never be, but it's gotten to the that he can slowly steer his train wreck of a life back on track.
Until one night he wakes up with tear filled eyes and can't stop the hitching in his breath.
He reaches for his phone to call Foggy, Karen or Claire to talk to but doesn't because they didn't know her, they wouldn't understand. So Matt suffers the rest of the night alone.

Bonus points for Matt not even remembering the dream at first and having no idea why he's woken up crying.

So, Foggy's life goes really well. He has good work, makes good money and meets someone. They get married and have a child, all rather quickly. Then, his spouse and child are killed violently.

Now Frank (and maybe Matt) have to intervene to keep him from seeking revenge Punisher style.

Facial Recognition Software Failure (a.k.a. identity reveal fail) gen

SHIELD has files on basically everyone and everything, so when the Avengers find themselves teaming up with Daredevil for the first time they're all pretty confident they know who the man is beneath the mask. Matt's just really confused when someone addresses him by a random name. The others misinterpret his silence and are all "oh no don't worry your secret's safe with us" etc.

Bonus if Matt just sort of goes along with the whole thing and trolls everyone for a while. He's got a secret identity for a reason, after all, and he's not about to just give it up.

Can include actual!identity reveal, but totally not necessary.
Also, facial recognition software is more of a suggestion than an actual must. Mistaken identity can be obtained by whichever hand-wavy design strikes your fancy.

For whatever reason, Matt and the Turtles end up with each other's mentors working against The Hand (or the Foot, whichever). Splinter and Matt have to work together, while Stick has to deal with the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles.

(I just want Matt to have a nice mentor figure. :( )

Frank got revenge for her still, but was more careful and never got caught or had his identity revealed and didn't go full punisher (even though he really really wanted to). A few years later, one of Matt's exes who he's lost contact with dies and he suddenly finds himself responsible for a kid he didn't know about. (Matt either quits or never was daredevil) Frank and Matt meet at something for the kids (school event maybe?) and hit it off.

Maybe there's a few bars of music on one's body, or a few lines of verse, and its from their favorite song, or maybe its the first thing you hear your soulmate sing/hum.

Maybe that musical mark is what you'll hear in the background when you meet your soulmate.

Maybe there are no marks, and when you do meet your destined, you both hear some sort of music in your head.

Just another take on the soulmate au's, this time with no first words, or gaining color vision, etc. Just base it around music.

He ends up gaining superpowers and joining in heroics incidentally.

Now Daredevil is on a mission to force feed him ice cream or a burger...

Cue being 'saved' by his other superhero acquaintances. Just let him eat his kale in peace!

Frank is convinced that Matt is Daredevil. So when bad guys tell Frank they are going to hurt Matt because Frank cares about him, he isn't too worried. He knows that daredevil can handle himself and wouldn't want him to give into their demands for his sake.

But he's wrong. Matt Murdock is just an innocent blind man who gets the shit beat out of him because of Frank

Slave!Matt and Slave!Loki united for the first time under a new master

So I'm a big fan of Poetic Justice by Limmet, over on the Avengers part of AO3, and I'm also a big fan of most slave Matt stories here, so I couldn't help thinking what would happen if they ended up together. Most slave stories have Loki ending up under the command of Tony, but it would also be interesting if he were sent to Coulson to make up for killing him. I'm also a big fan of "Love is For Children" by Ysabet Wordsmith, where Coulson is "Uncle Phil" when the Avengers need to switch down for some non-sexual age play. It'd be cool to see that loving, educating, firm-but-gentle element in a slave story. And Matt ends up with him too, for reasons. Maybe SHIELD got him after they found out about his "powers"? Up to the author to decide who was there first, and who comes next, or if they both arrive together, and how they react. Please, no erotica, though both slaves could be recovering from being sexually abused.

A law is passed that the needy/dependent must be married if mentally competant to help them. For their own good. This includes the poor/disabled/orphans.

Matt is chosen to be married off if he can't find a spouse. Oh he can support himself and he has an education but for his *own good* he HAS to be married. Or else.

Matt in desperation starts asking everyone he knows for marriage.

Or else. (His chosen partner is not exactly nice either - sponsored courting time is encouraged but not required.)

A couple of interesting points from the discussion:

"You know if there's any documentation at all of his history of injuries that could be the trigger for him falling under this law."

"Does it have to be a new law? Maybe he was safe while he was underage, and then he had his scholarships that exempted him while he was at university. At Landmann and Zach he was safe because even interns there were decently paid, but leaving and starting Nelson and Murdock was more of a risk for him than for Foggy, and now he's been allocated a state-sponsored spouse and a time-limit to find an alternative for whatever reason you want. (Maybe his tax return triggered an investigation? Because he fell below a minimum income level required for the disabled to avoid this law?)"

Matt and Foggy disagree

Matt and Foggy are on different sides in the debate over the superhero registration act.

Anything you like about this. Long ideological arguments and debates, yelling and screaming, snyde remarks. Maybe which side each of them falls on is not what you would think. Maybe one converts the other to his way of thinking. I just want conflict, but for them to deal with it better than they did in the show, ie still be friends.
