Matt is a little shit and enjoys teasing and flirting with Frank, especially because he tries to resist him, but he finally surrenders to matt,he tries to be the dominant one as he is the top, but matt has him completely dominated even if he is bottom

Matt/Foggy, Foggy has a crush on his new yoga instructor

So someone - Marci, Karen, pick your poison - talks Foggy into trying yoga. Which, okay, fine, that's never been his thing, but working at L&Z (or wherever) is stressful and maybe this will help.

And then he gets an eyeful of the instructor, Matt Murdock, who is. Well. VERY bendy. And hot. Bendy and hot. Both of those things. Yep. Also, he has to touch his students a lot to check/correct their poses, since he can't see them. (Maybe Claire is his assistant and helps point out people who need a hand? Or maybe he just has a mysterious sense for these things...)

Foggy starts going to yoga a LOT.

There’s a beast Devil in the castle! Poor Foggy Nelson has a loved one who becomes ensnared in the Devil’s clutches. He tells the Devil to take him instead. But soon he learns that the Devil with a temper is actually quite - noble. And smart. And kind of wryly funny?

Foggy and Matt are getting closer, but can the curse be broken before they run out of time?

Stick starts a brotherhood of blind assassins, drags Matt into it.

There aren't many blind people who can do what they do. So cue Matt awkwardly training people and trying to dissuade them from actually being assassins.

Medical facilities have a special wing for Matt's victims

Because getting hit with a metal baton on the head and a man willing to through you off roofs is bound to cause some permanent injuries. Most of his victims are placed in wings for criminals but are given special names to keep in on the down low, perhaps paperwork has a little DD (Daredevil Damaged) or something.

Seducing Foggy has turned into Matt’s favorite past time. What does it take to get Foggy’s pulse pounding? Is Matt subtle about it? Really obviously blatant? Does he go more aggressive, crowding into Foggy’s space, or more tempting?


Bonus for Foggy eventually snapping and dragging off a very smug Matt to have his way with him.

Hell's Kitchen is beginning to be gentrified with Fisk's removal and now that the prices are dropping yuppies/hipsters/nouveau riche is swarming like flies on honey to the real estate.

And they disapprove of Daredevil.

Because he's giving their kids idea.

So the the mothers and fathers start a coalition - Parents Opposed to Vigilantes (POV) or Parents Opposed to Daredevil (POD), whatever floats your boat.

Frank/Karen - Frank is a sweet drunk

I’m thinking about Karen, who’s maybe had a few boyfriends who were mean drunks. Maybe not necessarily abusive, but unpleasant to be around, picking fights, or shouty, and she was on edge when they drank. And then Frank is at her door one night and he’s drunk and she’s kind of… bracing herself. She lets him in because she can’t quite find a way to refuse, but she’s tense.

But drunk Frank turns out to be mostly a cuddly, dopey puppy who sprawls on her couch and wants to pet her hair and earnestly tell her how nice she is to him when she gets him a glass of water.

Karen has criminal ties

Karen has a past that she doesn't want anyone to know about, even her closest friends. She also never mentiones her family. She knows how to use a gun, has shot someone before Wesley, and seems knowledgable when it comes to narcotics. She handles stress, complete with flying bullets, remarkably well. Whatever Ben found about her made her "non-credible" and was serious enough for Ellison to feel he had to reassure her that he doesn't care.

So I'm thinking, what if Karen has criminal past, and criminal ties in the present? And not petty theft or even using. Organised crime, with a brother that taught her to shoot a gun for her twelth birthsday, and a large net of aquaiatances (extended family?) that are equally protective of her as they might be dangerous now that she wants out.

And, well, having two honest lawyers for friends is already messing her up emotionally. And then there's the Man in the Mask, and dating Matt, and...

Frank has something of a crush on the hot piece of ass in the red suit, but he hasn't asked anyone out since meeting his wife and lacks the confidence to approach Matt and ask him out.

So he tracks down Foggy and demands he help him woo Matt.

Bonus point for: all the fluff, Foggy being deathly afraid of Frank at first but then taking pity on him after realizing he's just a little love-sick, Foggy threatening Frank with a very bloody and violent demise if he hurts Matt, Matt finding Frank's awkward attempts to flirt with and court him annoying yet somehow cute, super happy ending with Frank and Matt on their first date :)

Tiny Tin Soldiers - Or the one where the Castles meet Stick, Ely and Matty

Muffled timelines either forward or backwards for whomever.

Instead of leaving Elektra with another family he pulls a runner and goes into hiding. He still meets Matt, and takes him with him instead of leaving him. They move somewhere mundane - the Suburbs.

Frank is just back from his time in the service. He and Maria are getting reacquainted with themselves and he feels out of place. They get a new neighbor who is...odd to say the least. A blind old man with a little girl and blind boy of about the same age. They stay indoors a lot but go out on long walks. The kids don't seem to go to school.

Then...things go to hell in a hand basket. Before Frank can put a bullet in the blind man's head they vanish.

TLDR: AU where Matt and Elektra are raised by Stick in a the suburbs where the Castles live. For reasons they're exposed and before Frank can kill Stick they vanish.

Gen: Daredevil & Avengers, Matt needs social skills

For reasons completely up to the author, Matt has grown up away from every day people and doesn't really understand normal social cues. The Avengers meet and/or recruit Daredevil and start trying to help him and introduce him to all the things he never got to. Example: "What do you mean what's a coolatta?"

Basically, I'm interested in a Matt being awkward in conversation and not really knowing about common modern things.


Some ideas for potential back stories: He grew up with the Chaste, was isolated for a long time, got taken by aliens (like Asgardians), or is not human.


+ Matt is a little grumpy about getting socialized, or appears to be, because modern/social stuff is not what he is used to. ("soft stuff makes you weak")

Maybe Wanda changed him or Loki did, or, Dr Strange or someone, or he is a were-stick by himself, but I want Stick being a stick. Bonus if Matt uses him as a cane or smacks criminals with him, or both.

Matt and Marci talk (past Marci/Foggy, implied Matt/Foggy)

Matt and Marci are in a situation where they’re stuck together / have to speak to each other. This means they ultimately end up talking about the only thing they really have in common - Foggy.

Too bad Foggy is kind of a touchy subject for Matt (and his pining/prideful/self-hating heart) right now.


Bonus - they’ve never been each other's biggest fans, but they usually tried to keep it civil-ish for Foggy. But Foggy's not there at the moment so maybe now’s the time for them to be really frank with one another.

Bonus 2 - Marci’s opinion of Matt has not improved after the Castle case and the dissolution of N&M. She’s not afraid of informing Matt of this.

Bonus 3 - maybe a part of Matt feels like he lost Foggy to her, even if she and Foggy aren't actually together again.

Frank - brain damage

I'd love to read something that explores the brain damage Frank could have endured being shot in the head. Does it affect motor skills, memory, impulse control etc. further than we've seen? I'd love to see the frustration that occurs and maybe how others perceive it.

Things are not looking so good for Matt. Either he’s about to jump headfirst into a suicidal mission, or he was poisoned, or he was hurt so badly that without immediate care everyone is certain he’s not gonna make it. Foggy’s with him, trying to hold it together.

Matt thinks he’s about to die, basically. And he’s weak and hurting and Foggy’s trying his damnedest not to cry, so Matt pulls Foggy down into a kiss. Just one kiss because if he’s going to die at least he’ll have had this once before he goes.

(then there’s a miraculous save and Matt gets better. afterwords they deal with the fallout. likely by kissing some more.)
