Frank/Matt Not Soulmates

Frank assumes that he and Matt are soulmates, and doesn't find out until years after their first meeting that they aren't. (when he ends up actually seeing Matt's soul mark while patching up his wounds, or something)

Frank hates the idea of soulmates in general (he and Maria weren't soulmates, and in his mind that only meant that their love was more real than the unconditional 'love' at first sight that soulmates feel)

Foggy and Matt - Dreamland

A sorceror/witch/wizard/alien/god curses Foggy into eternal slumber unless Matt can figure out the way to wake him. This involves Matt going into Foggy's subconscious.

He expected that Foggy's subconscious wouldn't exactly be rainbows and butterflies; nobody's is. Still, he knows his best friend pretty well, so he's not altogether shocked by the overall tone of Foggy's mind.

What he definitely did not expect was how much he himself occupied so much of Foggy's thoughts, hopes, and dreams.

Could be slash or gen. I've just been reading so much angst lately, I could use some of Matt being pleasantly overwhelmed by how much he's loved by his BFF.

OP: Alternately, the other way around, with Foggy having to go into Matt's mind and being reassured that despite the years of lying, Matt really does genuinely think the world of him.

How about five times Matt almost kissed Foggy? Maybe at school, or that time at Josie's, maybe once while he was patrolling as Daredevil or after when Foggy was holding an ice-pack to his head?

Just Matt wanting to kiss Foggy, but pulling back before he lets himself go that far.

Foggy likes intense, Serious Business sex, but who said sex couldn't also be lighthearted fun too? His sense of humor is one of his sexiest attributes after all.

Show me Foggy making his parter(s) giggle in the nude. Maybe hilarious roleplay with Foggy as Daredevil, reading terrible lines from 50 Shades of Grey, tickling, or whatever you come up with. All I ask for is smiley, happy, Foggy sex.

Matt is always fiddling with things and loves soft textures. So however the author wants, he gets given an insanely soft teddy bear that he loves. It sleeps on his silk sheets with him, he fiddles with it while he's talking. He may or may not feel self concious at first, but his hands love that thing and it can ground him like nothing else when he's overwhelmed. He hasn't had a stuffed toy since he was very young, so it hits all kind of comfort buttons with him.

Said toy stays in his apartment and only foggy and poss karen and claire know about it. Then while on a team up with the avengers he's overwhelmed in some way. Pain, sensory, whatever you want.

The avengers can't get him to calm and he's beating up them and hurting himself. Foggy gets contacted or is on coms and tells them to get their butts to the nearest toy store and grab the softest stuffed animal they can find. Clint does this without hesitation, and within seconds he's calm and grounded enough for him to focus on them. And he's clinging to that stuffed toy for dear life in front of the entire team.Or some vaguely angsty/fluffy varient of that.

WELP THIS JUST SLAYED ME IN THE BEST WAY

Gen. Matt outed as daredevil in worst way.

A wounded daredevil gets beaten, raped, and unmasked by a group of thugs looking to humiliate the devil. And they record the whole thing.

The video goes viral. Soon enough everyone works out who he is, where he lives, works, and who he works with. He and his friends become targets. The stress makes his senses go haywire, making it difficult to focus on anything or communicate.

Tony Stark comes in to save the day. Foggy agrees for them to move into avengers tower while Matt recovers and they figure out where else they can live that's safe. Matt is pretty much catatonic at this point. The tower is good for him. Not only is he, foggy, and karen safe, but the living quarters have insanely thick hulk proof walls. It's easier for him to get a grip on his super senses again, and some rooms are completely soundproof which is bliss.

Cue Matt's slow recovery, his crippling guilt at dragging his friends into this, and his conviction that the avengers are only doing this out of pity. Including Clint who bounces around him like an excitable puppy wanting playdates.

Matt and the others bond with the team. And Matt's discovers that they would've been friends with him even if they'd found out his identity a different way. They've been watching his alterego for a while. And Clint just really really wants someone who'll go parkouring with him.

Other ideas include: (no obligation for author to follow any of these)

Matt gets addicted to soundproof rooms and refuses to leave.

His haywire tastebuds cause him to throw up anything that isn't 100 percent bland.

Matt develops a stammering problem and poss some level of mutism.

He is the stubbornest stubborn to ever stubborn and keeps throwing himself into situations he's not ready for and getting overwhelmed.

The avengers with their experiences of ptsd are surprisingly good at this.

Matt and Clint eventually become awesome friends.

When Matt finally accepts one of Clint's playdates (after umpteen rejections) Clint does a happy dance.

Matt wears a chastity belt/device when he's out Daredeviling to avoid becoming turned on by all the blood/gore/violence/sadism.

But that doesn't prevent him from coming home and taking it off and coming over and over again to the memories of what he's done.

+100 if someone tries to hit Daredevil in the groin and screams in pain because slamming your foot/fist into steel hurts like fuck

Foggy gets roped into a Sidhe brouhaha. He needs to fight off a series of challengers, or he's gonna get turned into a Foggy-pancake. Matt ends up acting as Foggy's Champion, knight/gladiator style.

- Foggy isn't Sidhe, he just had the misfortune of pissing one off. (Or he impressed them and they show their respect by trying to kill him in ritual battle? Who knows.)

- There's at least a little bit of warning before the fights begin, or else they've been actually transported to another dimension where the fights happen.


Bonuses

+Matt has an advantage because glamour doesn't work on him.

++ Foggy fretting over the injuries Matt gets in the matches.

+++ It's customary to send your Champion off to battle with a favor for luck. Foggy doesn't keep ribbons on hand so he has to settle for giving Matt a kiss each time he goes into the ring. The horror.

Frank/Matt, post-break up awkwardness and sexual tension

Basically, Frank and Matt dated briefly but ended up breaking up due to their moral codes clashing too much. Their short-lived passionate love affair is common but unspoken knowledge to pretty much all the other NYC based superheroes, but since they're a bunch of shameless gossips they can't help but share their stories of all the awkward run-ins they've had with The Punisher and Daredevil while crimefighting as some form of therapy, because the universe is a cruel mistress and makes them run into each other with increasing frequency. The sexual tension is OFF THE CHARTS.

How did Frank and Matt get together? What was the final straw that made them break up? Do they eventually resolve their issues and get back together and screw like rabbits? Does Spiderman finally snap and stage an intervention just to put an end to all the passive aggressiveness and petty shit they get into?

Can be crack or angst, it's all up to you!

+Frank pining after Matt with extreme reluctance and being in complete denial about it because he's allergic to feelings.

+Matt REALLY missing all the crazy sex they used to have.

To be honest, this is pretty much how I interpreted The Omega Drive story line. Matt and Frank needling each other, Frank's new partner looking exactly like a female version of Matt, Spidey acting like Matt's protective little brother who's worried Matt's ex will hurt him again...it's all there.

Gen or Foggy/Matt - How do holiday?

I've been chatting with a few friends recently who just began traveling for the first time, and there are a couple of regrets I've been hearing over and over again:
- Not doing adequate planning before the trip and winding up wasting time
- Having trouble actually relaxing as their minds keep going back to school/work/issues with their partners before the trip/etc.

SO !

Matt and Foggy have been discussing their dream vacation for years. Before Daredevil, before Nelson & Murdock, before they passed the bar - they were daydreaming about their dream vacation(s) since they started law school and became friends.

Fast forward to a few years after Matt becomes Daredevil. The law firm is doing well now, they've got money saved up, and now it's time for them to take that dream vacation they've been talking about for years.

What is the vacation? What goes right? What goes wrong? Do they plan adequately? Do they over-plan or under-plan? Do they screw something up? Do they get pickpocketed because they're just not used to how skillful some of those pickpockets are? Are they totally unprepared for the climate difference, language barrier, or clothing expectations? Do they get lost in Italy because they look for street names at eye-level and don't realize they're engraved up on the buildings? Do they enter a restricted area on accident because they can't read the Keep Out sign? Do they suffer unexpected allergies? Food poisoning?

What sort of trouble do our avocados get into this time?

Daredevil's been teaming up with the avengers for a while, and all those guys talk about is how serious daredevil/matt is. If Foggy has to sit through another talk about how mature and focused Matt is, Foggy is going to explode.

They don't know what Matt is like when he's relaxed. How he turns into a five year old when he's the least bit tipsy, and DEMANDS hugs. (And not so secretly wants them at any other time). How he has such a goofy smile. How there's tickle attacks (Matt is insanely ticklish, and very good at tickling), wrestling, so much giggling. How he pouts when Foggy eats his favourite snacks. How lilo and stitch is one of his fav movies.

Two prompts: (pick whichever)

1) Matt and others get hit with something that makes them calm and happy. It doesn't change the others much since they're already mostly relaxed around each other, but Matt goes from stoic action hero to cheeky five year old in 0.2 seconds.

The avengers don't know what to do with this new Matt who acts like a cuddlier version of Clint at his most childish. Cue panic, coddling, and lots of bonding.

2) Alternatively for reasons Matt has to live in the tower with the avengers for an extended period. He doesn't get to see Foggy or anyone he can relax around, so keeps his stoic daredevil persona on. The avengers treat him as all buisness as that's what they think he likes. No friendly touches, nothing.

This lasts until he can't take it anymore and breaks down in hysterical crying at the worst possible time in front of the whole team. He just needs to relax and for someone to give him a goddamn hug.

Gimme five times Elektra taught this guys to let loose a little. How she affected Matt and Foggy tried to do something but Matt's answer was "come with us, the enxt time. You will have so much fun"
What kind of things count as "fun" for Elektra is a question Foggy ask so he goes and she just takes him and she loves to see this two having a good time.

How crazy things go when you are a student livign a double life and having two friends that you need to teach the rules of live casue they are too good for their own.

Matt/Frank, Daemon AU

I just want some daemon AU with Fratt as the main pairing, y'all, and maybe instead of the usual 'Matt has a bat' daemon fic, Matt could instead have a honey badger (they're 100% fearless and look smol and adorable until you see them kill a lion). Possibly Frank has a wolf?

if someone were to fill 'fratt with deamons' using unusual (ie not bat) daemons but not the ones you suggested, would that be something you were interested in or no? Because I've been fiddling around with the idea of some fratt daemon stuff for awhile but I'm pretty attached to the headcanon animals I have, and I understand that other people can be too and it could effect your enjoyment of a fill

Matt's other power -sexual attraction

Notice how hard other people find it to ignore Matt? The accident that blinded him didn't just effect his own senses: the senses of others are affected by his presence -meaning that sexual attraction to him is almost inevitable (provided he's not kicking your head in).
I suggest a series of oneshots from the series' other characters, and their thoughts and feelings in Matt's presence, both as a civilian and Daredevil.

It's up to you whether Matt knows, but frankly, I think someone as smart as Matt would notice, even if it was a very subtle power.

in honor of the screen shots that came out yesterday, give me matt getting tied up as daredevil way too much. it starts to get a little out of hand, and pretty soon every other bad guy starts to find some contrived reason to tie him up/chain him/handcuff him. Matt is bewildered at first, then increasingly bored/exasperated. what he doesn't understand is that he looks damn good tied up. :3

bonus points: even other superheroes start to get in on it after a while.

That's the first thing Foggy says that really penetrates; odd that he's talking to Matt. What's even odder is that it's the start of a new kind of life for her, where she refuses to let weakness--her own or others'--stop justice from being done. Senora Cardenas needs help in her apartment and Karen doesn't exactly know how to help? She'll follow Foggy's lead and go with it anyhow. Ben seems a little reluctant to follow the story? Karen will get out and push if she has to. Wesley gets distracted from a loaded gun? Well, Karen will go with it, if that's all the vague direction she's given.

Funny how it all feels like flailing around, after awhile. Flailing around, getting other people hurt in the crossfire--like Daniel was, before she'd ever met the lawyers almost as desperate for a client as she was for their aid. Sometimes it doesn't seem worth it. That time Matt gave her more than a vague shrug--gave her a clear call for help and accepted it from her? She felt apologetic for how hard she'd made them work for it in the beginning. Because it turns out that helping people felt a lot better when they'd asked for it in the first place.

Matt/Frank, Soulmates + Slavery AU

In this world, there's soulmates--people who you know are your perfect match the second you first see/hear/touch them.

There's also slavery.

To cope with these two competing facts, in this AU, all free people with enslaved soulmates are immediately made their enslaved soulmate's permanent owner, so they can be together forever as God/destiny/etc intended them.

Enter Matt, who's a lawyer and a slave and even Daredevil, owned by Marci Stahl, who he doesn't much like but can cope with, who's friends with Foggy but not owned by him. One night out on patrol, he goes to confront the new mass-murdering vigilante The Punisher, only to find that the Punisher is his soulmate/new owner forever!

++ for Matt suddenly being almost unable to actually argue/fight the Punisher because hey, he's his owner now
+++ for someone else being there and leaking it, so it's widely known that Daredevil is the Punisher's slave soulmate
++++ for Frank's other soulmate having been Maria

When he was younger, Matt wished for a friend. He even made a list.

-he won't care about Matt's blindness.
-he'll make Matt laugh and be funny and not cruel
-he'll have an awesome name because why not

Expand on the list if you wish. Cue years later as Dr. Strange confronts Matt about the list. Matt is like, "what? I made that when i was a kid. How do you even-?"

"Because you MADE a person! Franklin Nelson shouldn't exist but somehow you wished for him!"

Hmm. Kind of a twist on that "Foggy's not real" prompt and fill a while back? The one that was as depressing as all get-out?

...now I kinda want to see a "Normal Again"-style Matt, who for some reason is convinced that he's made Foggy up, and a very real Foggy has to convince him that he hasn't. Kind of the exact opposite of both these prompts. Which doesn't help at all, sorry, OP!

("Normal Again" is a Buffy reference, for those who aren't familiar with the show.)

Omegaverse

Inspired by a sherlock fic. Warnings for forced pregnancy and self-induced abortions.


Foggy is an omega and is owned by Fisk. While Foggy lives in the lap of luxury, even practices the law freely, he hates being Fisk's property, is disgusted by his crimes and doesn't want to carry his child. Everytime he gets pregnant, Foggy takes "care of it."

Enter DD creating a shitload of trouble for Fisk. Foggy hears about DD all the time. Matt thinks if he can get close to Foggy at court, he can get close to Fisk. But of course, they get close and Matt soon learns the horrible truth about Foggy's predictament...

Now that Foggy knows Matt is DD...

Childhood kidnapping

Now, years later, the kidnapper walks right into Nelson and Murdock and asks for legal advice.
