Matt is always fiddling with things and loves soft textures. So however the author wants, he gets given an insanely soft teddy bear that he loves. It sleeps on his silk sheets with him, he fiddles with it while he's talking. He may or may not feel self concious at first, but his hands love that thing and it can ground him like nothing else when he's overwhelmed. He hasn't had a stuffed toy since he was very young, so it hits all kind of comfort buttons with him.

Said toy stays in his apartment and only foggy and poss karen and claire know about it. Then while on a team up with the avengers he's overwhelmed in some way. Pain, sensory, whatever you want.

The avengers can't get him to calm and he's beating up them and hurting himself. Foggy gets contacted or is on coms and tells them to get their butts to the nearest toy store and grab the softest stuffed animal they can find. Clint does this without hesitation, and within seconds he's calm and grounded enough for him to focus on them. And he's clinging to that stuffed toy for dear life in front of the entire team.Or some vaguely angsty/fluffy varient of that.
