Foggy has a run in with an alternative version of Daredevil

That alternative version?
Not nice. At all.
(A few pages back there was a prompt about an alternate reality where Foggy was never born and Matt ends up being a lot darker and more brutal which is one possibility but anything else would be fine as well).
It ends up being a very painful experience for Foggy. Still somehow he gets away/is just randomly transported back to his own dimension where he is greeted by his Daredevil.
Only that at least for a while Foggy is too out from pain/confusion to realize that and freaks out.
Cue Matt going: Oh my God, Foggy what happened? Who hurt you?

Even once Foggy is past that first stage of confusion it's hard because of course he knows that this Matt is his best friend and would never hurt him but that doesn't change the fact that this guy looks exactly like the one that broke his wrist/whatever and he just needs some time to deal with everything.
Which by the way would be a lot easier if he could go on merrily pretending everything's fine but that's impossible if Matt can tell that Foggy is holding his breath and his heart is beating faster when Matt's making any rash movements or comes too close.

And now I see Matt in the role of Ultimate Reed Richards, who managed to become the most deranged and terrifying person in comics. So, yeah, seconded.

Matt wants to stay a virgin until marriage, and his partner is totally respectful of that.

All I want is Matt setting his limits and his partner (or partners, I have no preference for relationships) taking him at his word and not pushing him. Because as great as fics about skeevy doms and safewords are (and I have to tell you that safewording is my bulletproof creepy kink), I just need someone treating Matt like he's got the right to do whatever he wants with his sex parts.

Karen, Foggy, gen

At the end of episode 12 Matt is literally crying in Karen's arms. Next episode, Foggy has tracked Matt down to where he's working out his issues on a punching bag and asks if he wants to talk about it.

I'd like a missing scene where Foggy tracks Matt down because of Karen. After leaving Matt, Karen finds Foggy to tell him to get his shit together and sort things out with Matt because they need him. She's scared and frustrated and not really coping herself so she's harsher than Foggy deserves and maybe she lets it slip how Matt isn't doing so great either.

Bonus if the conversation happens in person not on the phone and Karen and Foggy hug it out while Foggy promises her he'll talk to Matt.

(This would all happen before they hear about Ben.)

i am so weak for karen being caring and insightful and also 100% focused and determined to win and survive no matter how scared and sad she is

i am so weak for foggy being upset and needing his space and trying to keep working towards their ~team goals~ alone, but also caring about matt and wanting to be there and knowing when he really really needs to be there

Matt and Foggy's first kiss happens in a very dramatic, very public scenario (preferably with Matt as himself, not in the Daredevil outfit), with Matt hearing Foggy has been involved in a fight/accident/etc and basically assuming the worst - he then finds him uninjured and pretty much mashes their faces together.

Foggy is startled but pleased.

Okay so inspired by the earlier prompt where Matt meets an alt!version of himself who never met stick.

Give me an AU where Jack never died. Now somehow let Matt hop on over to that universe and meet his alt!dad.

Tearful reunions and Matt's residual guilt @ blaming himself for his dad's death + 'using his fists' when his dad didn't want that for him.
Bonus points for Matt wearing the Daredevil costume at some point and also possibly protecting his dad from something while in the Daredevil costume.

Matt uses Earthbending to sense vibrations in the ground. He's also invented metalbending, but hasn't told anyone. (Shhhh...)

Foggy and Karen are nonbenders, but do have a special relationship with spirits. Foggy in particular cause he once studied to be an Air nomad. Claire, of course, knows waterbending and is a healer.

Fisk is a dangerous earthbender who knows lavabending. Stick is an airbender.

Captain America punches Daredevil unconscious after believing he was an enemy. After recognizing him he takes him to a private medical center. Where they discover his eyes aren't reacting to light. Steve has killed people, maimed them, etc but he has never accidentally punched someone blind. Cue freak out.

Matt is offered a compromise--by medical handwaving? by Loki? You decide--whereby he must sacrifice his special abilities in order to obtain a peaceful world, for himself and for the ones he loves. What is part of this exchange? How much would he be tempted before he would take it? I just want something exploring the themes of temptation, making a literal deal with the devil.

One night, when he's out as Daredevil, Matt is raped. It's the potential filler's choice as to whether or not to include the actual scene. If they do choose to include it, I'd prefer non-graphic, honestly, but once again it's the writer's choice.

Matt internalizes it and is immediately acting normal the next day, working cases and laughing at jokes. Nobody can tell anything is wrong.

Somehow, Foggy finds out. Maybe through Claire, or a video, something. He expects Matt to react, to say something, and he just doesn't. He's okay, really. Until finally it builds up and Matt snaps, maybe beating the shit out of a bunch of people, or destroying everything in his apartment. Foggy is there to deal with the fallout and recovery.

Missing Happiness, Mental Issues

So, I was reading one of the many stories by ChucklesVoodoo on Ao3 and it mentioned a smile so big that happiness was leaking out of it and that started my thought process.
Imagine a villain that is able to mentally alter someone's brain chemistry. This can cause serious issues, like anxiety, depression, bipolar, and numerous other mental disorders. So, I have a couple ideas.
1. What if the villain gives Matt anxiety, to the point that it makes him unable to control his senses. Panic attacks can be serious, but there are other things that can make anxiety unbearable, such as temper flares and unexpected changes.
2. What if Foggy was hit and had his happiness leak out? We know that Matt has dealt with depression in the comics, but I don't know if Foggy has. Cue Matt bending over backwards just trying to get a smile or laugh out of Foggy.
3. Causing schizophrenia disorder in Matt or Foggy. In Matt, it would cause him not to trust his own senses.
Etc., etc., the list goes on.
*Would prefer Matt/Foggy because I adore their cute, angsty cinnamon buns together, but it doesn't absolutely have to be.

An AU where Matt didn't go to law school and instead works at a bakery/cafe at Hell's Kitchen. His pastries are famous and delicious. Foggy is a white-collar worker who realizes that this bakery is amazing and also he might just be a little in love with the baker.

Maybe Marci is another worker at Foggy's office who is determined to set Foggy up with the cute blind baker. Karen is the barista who makes the best coffee in the world and might have a little crush on Marci. Ben is still a reporter who hangs out in the bakery all the time and knows everybody like family. I need cute, please. I crave the cute.

And in Hell's Kitchen, the cops will kill whoever Fisk asks them to kill.

I want this fic. I want fic about Matt & Foggy & Karen figuring out a way to handle community problems without involving the police, and I want them working with Brett to establish "safe cops," people they all know are clean with no ties to Fisk and his network.

(I maybe want a little exploration about how Fisk's decision to buy off cops in an attempt to "clean up" Hell's Kitchen destabilized the neighborhood further and led to the need for Daredevil, but that would be way extra?)

They're both pissed at having met someone who can call bullshit on their act, and bang each other angrily all over various bits of furniture, pinning each other down by the back of the neck, half-clothed, fancy suits rumpled.

(Meanwhile Foggy and Peter are trying to just get the job done, and wondering where their colleagues keep running off to.)

Taking a scenario from the comics- the fact that Matt is Daredevil is basically an open secret. He still denies it, but in a jokey way (wearing a sweater that says "I AM NOT DAREDEVIL" and going "If I were Daredevil, which I'm not-", being really obvious about running off to fight crime, and stuff like that. (Yes, I know in current canon he outed himself in court, I'm referring to the issues before that happened).

What I want to see is how MCU Matt handles the situation. He's waaaay more serious than current comics Matt, so I can't imagine he'd take the scenario as lightly.

I like that you somehow skip over the Bendis/Brubaker years where he's not exactly super-lighthearted about his identity being an open secret, going so far as to sue the newspaper who printed the story for millions of dollars, let Foggy talk him into continuing to deny it because they will both be disbarred and all of his old cases will get reopened, and allow himself to actually go to prison and think Foggy died protecting his identity, even being adamant with Foggy that he has no issue perjuring himself if need be to protect the people he loves.

Yeah... those years... that is about as seriously as the Marvel universe has EVER taken the idea of a secret identity being an important and valuable tool for a hero to have.

Just saying.

Like the prompt though... you're right, seeing this happen in the MCU would be crazy-intense given how dark the show is out of the gate.

Both comic and MCU Matt have issues, right. Comics Matt has just had more time to be depressed and have at least two complete meltdowns.

Something bad happens (can be anything short of killing Foggy) and it's the final straw. I want to see a Matt Murdock who is really gone over the deep end and then WORKS HIS WAY OUT. Give me the long, hard road to recovery.

Someone on my tumblr had the idea of pairing these two and I thought it was the cutest thing. Could be a first meeting, established relationship, heck, they don't even have to BE in a relationship as long as it's fluffy and cute. Something with Sam making Matt "Horrible Self Esteem" Murdock feel good about himself would be A+.

so i loved ben in the comics and rly rly loved him in the show (and am maybe still clinging to hope that his death was faked but w/e)

anyway, i rly want all of the backstory/filler/au about ben urich possible

like gimme sweet romantic comedy with doris, or the stories ben is most proud of, or the one time ben got waaaay too far mixed up in rigoletto's organization and almost fucked everything up (but got a good story out of it so it's ok!), or his pov of meeting/mentoring karen, or just literally a slice of life about how shitty his day is IDC

Karen with a gazillion butterfly clips in her hair and wanting The Rachel Haircut. Kids at the orphanage going crazy over the Pokemon cards and pogs. Slap friendship bracelets. Matt/Foggy: Fail sex

Matt and Foggy have great sex a lot of the time, but sometimes one thing or another screws it up and they both end up fumbling and laughing more than actually getting hot and steamy.

Maybe one of them is reminded of some funny incident from college or they're both drunk and feeling ridiculous. Or Foggy momentarily forgets how sensitive Matt is and ends up accidentally tickling him until Matt nearly throws him off with that strength of his. Or all of the above! Anything as long as sex devolves into laughter and kills the mood.

Matt/Claire/Foggy/Karen - Learning to patch Matt up (and touch-starved Matt is into it)

You can knock off Karen if it's too much but I'd prefer her involved!

After learning that Matt is Daredevil, Foggy and Karen decide they need to learn how to patch Matt up in case of emergencies. They don't exactly have time for nursing classes so they turn to Claire for help. She's the expert at fixing Matt's beat up butt, after all.

This involves a hands-on lesson where Claire takes care of a recently injured Matt (not too badly injured) and shows Foggy and Karen some basics. This includes showing them how to check for damaged ribs and bandage up cuts, etc.

Meanwhile, Matt is thoroughly enjoying having gentle hands all over him, especially those of the people he loves most. There are fingers running through his hair to check for head wounds and massaging his aching shoulder and he's just totally blissed out.

It can stay just like that or if you want to have Matt get into it in another certain way, I'd be just fine with that too!

A ventricular assist device is "an electromechanical circulatory device that is used to partially or completely replace the function of a failing heart." (Wikipedia). You may remember hearing about them when Dick Cheney had one.

This will make the person's heart sound different from a person with a fully functioning heart. I kind of want Matt to run into someone who has one of these, whether it's a bad guy or in the course of business, and just be really confused.
