Matt's had a lot on his mind recently, so perhaps he can be forgiven if he mistakes Karen's racing heartbeats for love, infatuation--turns out, she's having panic attacks, and doesn't want to ask for help. I just want to see the boys take care of her, comfort her, basically wrap her in soft things and make everything better.

I really want someone to get into his head here. Tell me what he's thinking, what was the last straw that broke him, what made him lose it in front of Karen (he's a pretty stoic guy, it had to have been REALLY bad in his head for him to crack like that in front of someone).

Tell me how much he misses Foggy and how much he blames himself for losing his best friend, what a horror it was to learn that Gao's workers chose the blindness that so traumatized him, how awful he feels about Karen getting roped into this bullshit. Throw the fucking angst book at me, meme, I want it ALL.

That scene really needed expanding upon, Matt was seriously freaked out by all hose people that had blinded themselves, (if Gao was being truthful about, that and I seriously doubt that they had as much choice in the matter as she implied) and I would over to see more about what was going through his head. Seconded!

Anyway, I want a fic where foggy and wesley dated in like high school or something. Wesley's changed a lot since then so maybe foggy doesn't recognise him right away.

So in line with quite a few other prompts on this thread, sometime post season 1, Matt and Foggy are kidnapped together by someone wanting information about one of their cases. Matt is taken by surprised and incapacitated (limbs broken or other injures to mean he physically can't fight back) then tied up and forced to listen as Foggy is beaten and tortured in front of him. Anything you want, bonus points if they make him beg because I am a terrible person.

Totally want them getting out alive too, then angst and hurt and tons of comfort and hugging. I'm a sucker for beaten them up but a bigger one for it all working out in the end lol.

Gen preferred.

Matt's mother bad a good life once she left Jack. She remarried and had a few more children. She decides to try and make at least some kind d of amends with Matt. She goes to meet him under the guise of a client. When Matt figures out its his mother he gets very angry. She leaves.

Only Matt is not done. He doesn't know how well it will succeed but he sues his mother for back due child support that was owed his dad (then him).

If she is still in a bad place mental health wise I could see Matt having to take care of himself and her, possibly prevent suicide attempts. A few posts up (potential spoilers for her storyline) mentioned her possibly trying to kill baby matt. Perhaps she tries again.

Foggy overhears a suspicious conversation between Matt and young Peter Parker (planning late-night patrols, maybe? up to you, anon), and since he has an overactive imagination, he takes it completely out of context... so, of course, he decides to confront his best friend about it because how /dare/ he corrupt such a pure, innocent, barely legal young man, he should be ashamed of himself!

+ Bonus: if Matt just plays along because he would never betray Peter by exposing him as Spiderman, even to his best friend.

So, I finally got to see Jupiter Ascending, which was both better and worse than I was expecting. Anyway, shortly after that, I found a Five People who weren't Seraphi Abrasax fic. (Jupiter is supposed to be the reincarnation of Seraphi, which is why she goes through all of the crap in the movie in the first place.)
Anyway, now I really want to see Foggy deal with the movie set up. How would he deal with owning the Earth? His genetic childrens' many many issues? The incest vibes?
Matt could be Cain or still be Avocado Matt, who has to hitch a ride to bring Foggy home.

Matt and foggy don't meet because they're roommates at college - they meet because they're cell mates. I kind of like the idea that Foggy's already been there for a while and has a decent rep (he's easy to like and gets along with most people - no one ever has any issues with him, he's just a Cool Guy) and then Matt shows up as this quiet, anti-social, pretty boy that no one can quite get on with - apart from foggy obvs. Cue protective!foggy trying to take care of this tragic criminal muffinmind and teach him the ropes.
