This post is for prompts involving characters from Netflix's Daredevil.

Now that The Defenders prompt post is live, all crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go over there. Prompts only including characters that appear in Daredevil should still go here.

Daredevil S1, but Matt is Fisk's slave. (Maybe one of many?)

Fisk underestimates slaves as broken, obedient things, and has no idea how dangerous Matt really is.

Mega-Crossover : Excorcists of all canons flock to fight The Devil of Hell's Kitchen

From the Winchester brothers to Constantine, to the creepy priests from Rosemary's Child and The Excorcist, to His Dark Materials if it has them and The Witcher and/or Hellboy if you want them, professional demon-fighters of all shapes and sizes flock to excorcise/trap/kill/enslave/magic-use and do mysterious things to the Devil of Hell's Kitchen.

The place clearly is in crisis.

I imagine some of us watch and know some shows or movies and some know others, so I would love to see this as a collective project of flash-shots and snippets.

If Matt ever fought — willingly or no — as a child, people died. And I don't think he could have ignored every cry for help between 11 and 30.

You can't win a fight with a grown man when you're tiny, unless you make them stop completely. And that's before we even consider that to knock someone out but stop short of killing them takes some SERIOUS skill that you definitely don't have at 12.

Matt had been a tiny serial killer 20 years ago, and is now very careful to NOT be.

Matt partially deafened + anxiety without lie detecting

Matt temporarily loses partial function of his hearing. Whether through explosion, magic, or migraine, whatever, his hearing has essentially become that of a normal person. No more hearing conversations in the next building over, footsteps several blocks away, or heartbeats.

Here's the thing. Matt fundamentally does not believe that he is loved or deserves care and his first instinct is always to do things himself, not tell anyone else, they probably wouldn't care anyways, they'd be better off without him, etc. etc. etc.

So he HEAVILY relies on being a human polygraph to figure out whether or not people are actually telling the truth when they say nice things about him, when they say they want to spend time with him, when they say they love him. Without his super-hearing? He spirals a little bit. His anxiety basically kicks into overdrive.

Like, sure, for a minute there it's nice to have some reprieve from the cacophony that is his usual sensory experience, but how can he trust that his friends actually like him without literally being able to hear their heart tell the truth?

Enter, Foggy and Karen (and the comfort part of the hurt/comfort) who do, in fact, love Matt after all :)

tl;dr, Matt uses his superhearing as a crutch for his anxiety, so it goes to shit when he's temporarily partially deafened.

I had a similar prompt last round! Or pages ago, I don't even know. It went a different way, but the setting was the same:

Matt never quite recovered from being shot in the head (duh) and now his hearing goes out at random without warning. Which isn't great in the middle of a life-or-death fight. So he teaches himself to fight without his hearing. He learnt how to hit and survive without a sense before, he can do it again, right?

Cue friends finding out — or ex-friends depending on the timeline — and having a Serious Conversation with Foggy saying slowly, "You used to go risk your life with four senses. And now you go with three."

I kinda loved that prompt, shame it was never filled. I hope yours will be!

Getting them out of a cult

Foggy or Karen gets into a cult. Not some ninja immortal stuff, just an ordinary cult that promises to help you but only wants your time and all your money. How does Matt use his lawyer knowledge and DD powers to rescue his friend? Can't exactly beat someone up if no crime has been committed and the friend went there voluntarily.

Deaged Frank & Reckless Matt

I had a dream where Matt and Frank were both deaged to ~10 and Matt was super Reckless and kept climbing buildings and trying to fight crime while Frank followed him around all freaked out because 'omg he's so reckless I have to follow him around to make sure he doesn't kill himself, no please don't jump between buildings omg we're going to die!' and it was very cute and now I want a fic about it

Karen makes Fisk suffer

Things didn't go the way they do in the show. Fisk and Vanessa don't get caught. The law isn't interested in prosecuting powerful people. They win against Daredevil, and then they go after Matt. They leave him just barely alive.

I'd like them to suffer, please.

I imagine Karen would be the one to execute revenge. She's both viscious enough and smart enough to do it, and she just recently learnt that she can kill, actually. Feel free to make her Not Stop after she's done. There are many more criminals to catch unsuspecting, after all.

S01E11: Foggy is loose lipped

In the course of his one-night stand with Marci, Foggy accidentally lets slip to her that Matt is the man in the mask. How does Marci react?

I'll try to start this off.

"I can't believe he lied to me all these years!" Foggy exclaimed in drunken anguish as he cried into Marci's bosom.

Marci was a bit disgusted by this, but she was trying to be a good friend.

"Damnit Murdock, what did you do now?!" Marci exclaimed under her breath.

"All those years Marci!" Foggy lamented.

"There there, it'll be ok," Marci said awkwardly as she clumsily patted him on the back.

She was really hoping he wasn't getting snot on her blouse, that'd be gross.

"It won't be! You don't understand, he's been lying to me since the day we met!" Foggy exclaimed as he suddenly got up and started pacing.

Marci surreptitiously looked at her shirt and was relieved to find it was only wet from tears, not buggers. She got a Kleenex and started wiping herself dry as she half listened to Foggy's rant.

"Wait! go back!" Marci exclaimed a few minutes later, certain she'd heard wrong.

"I said...," Foggy repeated, taking a large gulp of the beer in his hands.

When did he get himself a beer? Marci wondered.

"I can't believe he's the devil of Hell's Kitchen!" Foggy finished, sloshing some of the beer out of its can as he moved his hands around.

Marci decided to overlook that in favor of a more pressing question, "How could he possibly be that crazy vigilante? He's blind!"

"Enhanced senses or something," Foggy replied angrily. "He never told me, and I never suspected."

"He never let it slip? Not even once?" Marci asked.

"No!" Foggy yelled. "I was a chump Marce! The perfect patsy. Stupid Foggy, blithely guiding him along and describing things to him. And he let me. He let me think I was helping him."

Foggy started crying again, and Marci was getting a bit disgusted with his pity party.

"He is blind though right?" Marci asked, needing this clarification

"Yes," Foggy admitted, calming down a bit and sniffling pathetically.

"So, he can't see colors, or read computer screens?" Marci asked.

"I don't know!" Foggy exclaimed starting to get agitated again.

"Quit yelling!" Marci yelled back.

After Foggy's muttered "sorry," she continued, "Surely he tried to explain it to you."

"He did," Foggy acknowledged, plopping himself down on the couch once again.

Marci fetched him some water and waited for him to continue.

After a few minutes he reluctantly admitted, "I wasn't really paying attention."

Now it was Marci's turn to pace, "Your best friend in the whole world reveals his most closely guarded secret and you don't pay attention?!"

"He didn't reveal it, I found out!" Foggy defended himself. "I found him half dead, bleeding out on his living room floor."

"Oh my god, is he going to be ok?!" Marci asked in immediate concern.

She wasn't fond of Murdock but the guy didn't deserve to die.

"He's fine, his hot nurse friend patched him up," Foggy said in a disgruntled voice as he plopped back onto the couch.

"How can he be ok if you found him 'half dead?' Wait, did you just leave him there like that?!"

"He lied to me!" Foggy defended himself.

"He's supposed to be your best friend Foggy! God, how can you be so selfish!"
Before Foggy could utter another word, Marci continued. "This is me talking, you know I'm the queen of selfish, but I still let you in and listened to you. I let you cry all over my silk blouse and even tried to be sympathetic. But you Foggy, you've got empathy oozing out of your pores, but when your best friend needs you the most you abandon him! With friends like you..."

"He lied..." Foggy started, then thought about what Marci said.

He thought about Matt's past, about his dad dying and his mom abandoning him as a baby. He thought about Electra leaving, and how crushed he'd been. He considered Matt's revelation about his sensei Stick, and how the guy wasn't in the picture anymore. Finally he thought about how devastated Matt had sounded as Foggy stormed off. He realized Marci was right, he was the worst friend in the whole world.

"I need to go back," Foggy suddenly realized.

"You do that, let me know how it works out," Marci said to Foggy's retreating back.

"Thanks Marci, I owe you one," Foggy said just before he left her apartment.

"The devil of Hell's Kitchen, who would have thought?" Marci said to herself as she got ready for bed.

Matt getting a facial with his glasses on

Doesn't matter why Matt keeps his glasses on during sex (maybe he's insecure, or he's hiding a black eye, or his partner has a glasses kink, or it's a quickie and he just never gets around to taking them off), but he does and gets cum all over them.

I'm partial to Matt/Foggy or Matt/Danny (don't ask), but any pairing's fine for this.

Fosk finds out Daredevil's identity

He figures it out sometime between Matt's prison fight scene and his meeting with Karen. Karen confirms his suspicions of course, and he's very satisfied, but I need way more.

What are his thoughts when he starts figuring it out? How does he feel about it? Does he trust the medical records or thinks he might be faking it until he sees his eyes at the end?

Whatever you want, but give me Fisk's thoughts.

Tony Stark falls for the Devil

Tony Stark is vocally and almost agressively atheistic, but slowly becomes convinced that the Devil of Hells Kitchen is, in fact, the Devil. Which makes it all the more complicated when he falls in love and/or bed with The King of Darkness.

Honestly I would love this as "crack treated seriously" with all the angst, hurt-comfort and hilarity you can squeeze out of it, with a healthy doze of Catholicism on the side.

But I'll take regular crack too :))

Matt, forced washing/bathing

Just Matt, being washed/bathed by someone against his will. I’d like it to be a villain: could be Vladimir, Wesley, Fisk being spectacularly creepy with a captured, grimy Daredevil in their possession, or it could be slavery/domsub au... whatever you want. Maybe even Frank holding Daredevil captive to not let him interrupt his current mission.
But the person washing him should actually be focused on cleaning him, with everything else (the humiliation?) being secundary.

For some reason of your choice, Matt can't really fight his way out of it.

Matt Murdock doesn't want a slave. Seriously, please no. But he has one now. A newly-met Karen Page, woman who is very bad at hiding from him how much she doesn't want to be owned.

And, well, Matt is very bad at this "taking care of another human being" thing. Why couldn't Foggy do this? But then, Foggy wouldn't be so good at dodging Karen's repeated poisoning attempts, so.

Amnesiac Matt

This seems pretty abandoned, but I guess I'll try...

Matt loses part of his memory *handwavy reasons*. He remembers being a vigilante... but not Foggy finding out.
Cue angst with Foggy wondering if Matt will tell him or will just keep lying to him.

Matt/Fisk are married, but don't know each other's identities

So, Matt is working as Hell's kitchen as a lawyer, and secretly at night as Daredevil. Somehow he meets Wilson Fisk, and against all odds, the pair fall in love and marry.

Wilson genuinely loves Matt and respects him, Matt is the first person who loves Wilson for himself, not for his power, money or status. He's fiercely protective of Matt, and that includes protecting him from even himself and goes to great lengths to hide his criminal activities from his husband.

Matt has no clue Kingpin is his beloved husband Wilson, and Wilson has no clue Daredevil is Matt.

So what happens when Matt is kidnapped and both their true identities are revealed to each other?

How things progress is up to anon, but I'd really prefer a happy ending. Things aren't suddenly perfect, Matt is NOT OK with Wilson being Kingpin, any more than Wilson's OK with Matt being Daredevil, but Matt and Wilson genuinely love each other and Wilson's not about to kill the man he loves.

Team Red team up - Daredevil, Spider-Man and Deadpool. Oh boy...

When Peter is Outed as Spider-Man, he needs help and fast. Deadpool is NOT happy about his snuggle-bunny being outed - at least in that sense, but unfortuntely he can't murder his way through this solution.

Enter Matt Murdock, blind lawyer who has a thing for underdogs, and just so happens to be Daredevil in his spare time. Things are sorted, Peter is exonerated and his identity is safe again. Except it turns out Spider-Man, Daredevil and Deadpool are a pretty awesome trio, and somehow they become an actual team.

Turns out, a man without fear, a merc you can't kill, and world's most adorable Tony Stark surrogate son are something the bad guys really weren't prepared for...

I'd just love something where all three become a team. I'd love Spideypool as a ship, and I'm open to a Wade/Peter/Matt poly relationship, but I also really like Matt/Foggy and Matt/Frank Castle.

Just something with these boys loving and protecting each other and making their enemies very sorry they crossed them...

Child witness won't let go

During one of his patrols, Matt comes across an active crime scene and realizes they've missed something: a kid who's hiding nearby because they witnessed (your choice) crime. Just like in S1Ep2, Daredevil comforts the kids and convinces them to come out, where they promptly make like a barnacle and glue themselves to Matt's side, forcing Daredevil to take the kid to the cops in person. The police try to take the kid, but they only hold on tighter...

Go from there.

Unleash protective, papa-wolf, good with kids Daredevil.
