This post is for prompts involving characters from Netflix's Daredevil.

Now that The Defenders prompt post is live, all crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go over there. Prompts only including characters that appear in Daredevil should still go here.

Matt is stucked with frank after being dosed with something that makes him say everything he's thinking out loud.

Matt, AU where he was blinded on purpose

Basically, matt still goes blind at nine and gets enhanced senses 'thanks' to chemicals, but it wasn't in a car accident. It was on purpose. Someone spilled chemicals in his eyes on purpose. (experimentation? vengeance because jack won a fight? serial killer? grandma trying to 'exorcise the Devil'? filler's choice) How does matt grows up with that? How does it affect Daredevil?

I'm pathetic, so I kinda filled my own prompt. I would like to see your take, though.

When Matt is nine, he sees a man running in the street. It's night, and Matt should be in bed, but he can't sleep. So he sits by the window and listens to the sirens. The street below is empty, except for the running man and a truck. The truck catch up on the man, and in the passenger's window there's a hand and a knife across a throat. The running man falls, and it's quick but also too slow, and Matt doesn't scream, but he does run to wake up Dad. When Dad looks through Matt's window, the truck and the man are long gone.
The blood is black under the streetlamps light.

There's always sirens somewhere in Hell's Kitchen, Matt tries to tell Foggy. Always screams, always people getting killed, or raped, or mugged, and sometimes there's no scream, no siren, no body, and that's worse, because when people screams at least there's a chance someone will help, and Matt can help, Matt can make a difference, and even if he can't someone should at least /try/. Foggy doesn't listen.
There's blood on Matt's hands and Foggy only sees the blood and doesn't hears the screams.

When Matt is nine he insists to go to the police station, and tells what he saw to a tired cop. And the cop is tired but also kind right until Matt describes the truck. And then he looks uneasy and afraid and horrified and he gives Matt a weird plushie that is like three plushies sewn together. They're monkeys, and one covers his mouth, one covers his eyes and one cover his ears. And the cop says that what the monkeys mean is 'hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil'. The cop tells Matt to go home and forget and not to tell anyone, but Matt insists, because in the car window there was also a face and Matt saw it. So the cop listens and takes notes and tells Matt to keep the plushies before sending him home, and he looks tired and kind and sad and very, very sorry. And when they get home there are men waiting in the appartement, and they have guns and knives and the man who was in the car shots Dad in the head. And this time Matt would have screamed if he hadn't been kicked in the belly, and the man smiles and kicks him in the head.
The last thing Matt hears is the cop's voice coming out of the phone.

There was a girl crying in the night, and a father who should never be allowed near any child, and the cries are worse than the screams sometimes, because at least when people screams they hope someone will help, and the only help this girl hopes for is God's. And Matt spent nights and nights and days which for him were also nights praying for God's help and the only answers he ever got was screams and fire and something that sounded more like the Devil's work. So he called the police because he had to at least /try/, and when they didn't listened Matt went and did the Devil's work. And Matt puts on a mask and keeps doing the Devil's work, because someone has to, and there's always screams in Hell's Kitchen, always sirens always people getting killed, or raped, or mugged, and sometimes there's no scream, no siren, no body, and that's worse, because when people screams at least there's a chance someone will help, and the police doesn't care, or can't do anything, or will send the perps after a little boy who hears no evil sees no evil speaks no evil but saw and spoke to much.
Matt tries to tell Foggy, but no cop ever gave him a monkeys plushie and told him to hear no evil see no evil speak no evil, and Foggy doesn't understand.

When Matt is nine he wakes up in a child room with the man who killed Dad, and the man is looking at the monkeys plushie with a serious face, and asks Matt if he knows their names, and Matt just stares because he's not sure of what's happening. So the man put the monkeys on the bed and takes a knife, and stabs Matt in the shoulder and asks again. And Matt's cries, but tells him that he doesn't. So the man tells him that Kikazaru covers his ears, and Mizaru covers his eyes, and Iwazaru covers his mouth, and they ear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil, and Matt should have done the same. But he didn't so now the man will make sure that he will always be like Mizaru now. And Matt doesn't have time to be more afraid, because the man is already pouring something in his eyes and it burns, it burns, it burns
When Matt wakes up he can't see, but he can feel the monkeys besides him in the bed, and he can feel Mizaru's hand over his eyes.

When Frank shots the Devil in the head and Matt loses his hearing, it's like waking up blind all over again, and he thinks of the man who made him like Mizaru, and thinks that he would be happy, now that Frank made him like Kikazaru, too, and isn't that ironic, because if he hadn't gone after Frank, if he had been like Iwazaru and spoke no evil this wouldn't be happening, and he blindly, blindly grabs the plushie tucked under his pillow, three wise monkeys indeed, ear no evil see no evil speak no evil. And then Matt's hearing comes back and he goes back out the following night.
Someone has to /try/ and do the Devil's work.

When Matt is ten and is beginning to get used to being blind and hearing and feeling and smelling and tasting to much, the man puts him in a cage and tells him he won't get out until he calls him Dad and kills someone. And there's a girl too, in another cage, and it's just the same for her. And there's another man, the girl calls him the warden, who feeds them and poke them through the bars with a stick with a knife at the end or with a piece of melting iron, but doesn't let them out to pee. And Matt waits, and waits, until Warden makes a mistake and Matt lets the Devil out. And Matt could have killed him, maybe even should have killed him, but that would have been playing the man who killed Dad's game, and Matt didn't want that. So Matt didn't kill him but the girl did, and the girl left with the man calling him Dad.
Her name is Lola and she smells like oil and smoke and burning things.

Frank tries to make Matt kill a man, and Matt doesn't, because that's not who Matt is. That's not who Matt made himself. Frank tells Matt about his family, about why he does what he does, and Matt almost suggests to make an exception to his not killing rule. Almost, but in the end he doesn't, because there was a time when not killing was the only thing that made him himself, the only thing that wasn't part of a madman's game, and after Fisk not killing is more about being his own person than about morals. He didn't killed the man who killed Dad when he could, he didn't kill Fisk when he could, and he tried to smother the flames when Nobu burned, and he won't kill for Frank when he didn't for Elena, or for Dad,or for his sister, or for himself. Frank's family is dead, and there's nothing Matt can do that could bring them back.
Matt doesn't kill but is that enought if the reason for that is not moral but being himself?

When Matt is somewhere between late ten and early eleven, he doesn't kill anyone, but he does call the man Father, and is let out of the cage. Father, not Dad, because Matt hates this man. And Matt is homeschooled now, he's not allowed to leave the house, but at least he can learn braille and do homeworks, and that reminds him of Dad. And if the punishment for bad notes is Father coming in his room at night, and there's no pride when his notes are good, well if he tells himself it doesn't really matter, maybe it won't. So Matt and Lola keeps going, they pretend everything is fine, they pretend it's normal, and when father locks them in rooms with people who are more monsters than men, Lola kills them and Matt doesn't, and if anyone notices that Matt hears too much and doesn't need a cane or words to know where is opponents are, nobody says anything. And soon there's another girl, her name is Nelly and she smells like sugar. Nelly doesn't know what Father does to Lola and Matt, and Father treats her the way you're supposed to treat children. Matt thinks she's his daughter for real, and Lola is jealous. Matt is jealous too, but envy is a sin, so he prays at night, like he did in the cage when Warden didn't look, to be freed from envy and wrath and the man who wants to be called Father. When Matt is fourteen, Nelly brings a friend home and Lola snaps. Lola waits until Father and Nelly and the other girl are all in a room to lock them in and takes Matt out and sets fire to the house. And she sits on Matt and holds him down when he wants to go back to save the girls. And Matt is freed from envy and the man who wants to be called Father, and his wrath burns with the house and is left in ashes with it.
It feels more like the Devil's work than God's.

When the Black Widow's files are made public after the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., Matt wonders if she's more like him or like Lola. If she ever sat in a cage, covered in her own shit, and still refused to kill the man who tortured through the bars. If she ever set fire to her jail end watch it burned with those trapped inside, guilties and innocents alike.
But he's favorite Avenger is Hawkeye who, like Kikazaru, hears no evil sees no evil speaks no evil

When Matt is fifteen, he goes back to Hell's Kitchen and is sent to an orphanage. He tells everyone he was in a foster family, but they found him too high maintenance when he went blind. He oretends not to remember how it happened, even if he still wakes up at night with phantom burns in his eyes, and everybody is happy to write it off as trauma. Matt pretends there were no cages, no Warden, no Nelly, no Lola, pretends that Father was like Dad, and leaves St Agnes with a scholarship for Columbia. When he goes in room 312, he meets his roommate, and smiles and pretends there were no fire.
It's nice to have a friend.

Sometimes, Matt thinks about telling Foggy about himself. About his senses, about Father and Dad, about Lola and Nelly. But Foggy never sat in a cage covered in his own shit, never heard anyone burn alive, can't hear the screams. Foggy wouldn't understand, and Matt's wrath ignits again at the cries of a little girl, and he goes out to /try/ and do the Devil's work. And when Matt stands on a building and listens while the cops under Fisk's thumb leave Hell's Kitchen in chains, he wonders if his dirty cop is among them. Because now, Matt is the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, and a somewhat honest lawyer.
Even though Matt hears no evil sees no evil speaks no evil.

Barnes is Matt's last living relative

Matt went to st Agnes because he had no living relatives willing to raise him. Then Bucky Barnes comes back from the dead and all that changes.

Either Matt is a child (post Stick?) Or he undergoes some hefty brain injuries as a self sacrificing adult (maybe he even tried to kill himself?) And needs someone to care for him 24/7 and perhaps the Nelson clan is struggling. Or Matt is mentally or physically regressed to a younger age.

Either way Bucky Barnes and the avengers take him in. Matt has a heck of a lot of issues, but Bucky's pretty good at caring for people.

Matt wins the lottery, and has to deal with the few dozen 'close relatives' that crawl out of the woodwork.

Matt becomes the age he feels in a situation

Matt's hit with some kind of magic that makes his body shift to show how he's feeling emotionally. Perhaps it's some kind of alien diagnostic system to see how you are mentally.

The others find Matt very rarely feels adult. As daredevil he's a teenager. Whenever he's scared or upset he shifts younger. When he's alone he's a small child (it reminds him of how he feels when his dad was working all the time). Outside of daredevil and court he's rarely older than twelve.

When Foggy argues with him or makes to leave in a huff he shifts so young he can barely walk. Any tense conversation with Foggy and he shifts ten or younger.

It forces the others to see how messed up Matt is, and how upset he is as he's unable to hide it. Matt meanwhile takes a while to understand the implications, instead complaining he can never reach his shelves and no one will sell him alcohol.

Foggy's bachelor party

So, I want Foggy to have a bachelor party and I want it to go insane (though still fun)

Do it however you want, but here a few bonus points that would be cool:

- It's a surprise party organized by Matt, Theo and Brett (with some help from Karen) and Foggy is a bit annoyed with his friends being all secretive with him AGAIN, even more when he realizes that Matt does things behind his back not only with Karen, but also with Brett and Theo of all people.

- Matt actually takes a night off for Foggy, which is something he rarely does these days and Foggy actually acknowlegdes how huge it is for Matt.

- Or maybe he doesn't take a night off fully, because when he hears some emergency outside he makes some elaborate bullshit excuse to go and deal with it (even better, if he drags Brett with him; your decision, if Brett knows, he is at the stage he is figuring something out or he's completely in the dark and how he deals with it, but I want to see their teamwork both in action and when they come back and they need bullshit everyone together).


- When they go to some pub/club, they meet someone in the city. Maybe it's Jessica drinking, maybe it's Misty with either Luke or Colleen. Maybe Danny and Ward.

- Fistfight! In fact, in my head it's Theo and Ward, and maybe Foggy later joins them. Matt angsting over whether he should stop them or not. Matt actually STOPPING Foggy from hitting someone (which later would give him something to tease Foggy about, especially everytime Foggy points out he is the one who doesn't solve his problems with violence; or about Foggy's technique of throwing punches). Even better, if at the end everyone is cool with each other, I can even imagine Theo and Ward bonding over how their siblings left them alone with the family business and Foggy and Danny giving them annoying looks, because when Ward says ''siblings'', he doesn't mean only Joy.

- Karen is at Marci's party, but I want the main trio to have a some sort of an after party together, preferably them telling Karen everything about what went on.

- Oh, and Foggy and Matt making avocado jokes and telling everyone some embarassing college era stories too!

Bird Box Daredevil Crossover

Yep, exactly what the title says. I saw Bird Box recently and couldn't help but wonder how Matt would've handled the situation.

Someone finds out about Matt being daredevil and promises to keep it a secret if Matt has sex with him.

Foggy and Matt are in a relationship. I want to see Foggy's reaction to this; if Matt tells him afterwards, is Foggy angry at Matt for agreeing, or does he comfort Matt? If Matt tells him before, does Foggy try to stop it or not?

The timeline is altered, and instead of being 30ish when Frank becomes the Punisher, Matt is 11~12 (as in, it's matt who is younger, not frank who is older), has just been abandonned by Stick, and decided that the best way to make it happen is to prove that he can be a good soldier. By taking out criminals.


So, basically, the Punisher having to deal with tiny fireball Matt, who is trying to bring him (and as much other criminals as possible) to justice

Nice idea. Plus there's the fact Matt's just lost his father and is aching to have another one (by winning back Stick), and Frank just lost his children. Sounds like there could be a lot done with this idea.

And if St Agnes is letting him run wild they're not doing a good job parenting him. I always felt St Agnes was a neglectful situation for Matt (as many of these homes are. Too many kids and a turnover of staff to provide the love a kid needs). Even abusive Stick was a potential parent in Matt's eyes, which shows the lack of attention he got from the staff.

This could be sweet, funny, sad, or all three depending on what author decided to do with it.

In which matt is a ventriloquist, and instead of making a batman voice, the Devil's voice come from anywhere but his mouth and is never the same (for example, a child voice coming from the vents, a woman voice from a turned off talkie, a strange hissing voice from the sewers...)

To sum up, Matt is a ventriloquist and that makes the Devil even scarier, especially combined with his abilities

Magical link causes all Matt’s injuries to be mirrored on Foggy

Matt battles some magical person and they curse him. He either doesn’t believe them, or doesn’t know what they did, (they used some magical mumbo jumbo he did understand). However, a few days later he comes into the office and realizes Foggy’s been beaten. He has cracked ribs, a bunch of bruises, and maybe even a shallow stab wound or two. Matt is freaked out, and upset he didn’t stop it.

He demands to know what happened, and Foggy says that he doesn’t know. He just woke up that way. Matt doesn’t believe him, but Foggy’s heart says he isn’t lying. Over time, or by comparison, or whatever, he comes to realize that whatever injuries he receives, somehow transfer over to Foggy. Does this modify his behavior as Daredevil? Does he try to find a way to lift the curse?

(Matt/Foggy would be fine, either established relationship, or feelings discovered as things develop. Gen is also okay. I would prefer Matt not be paired with anyone other than Foggy.)

Gen, post-stick kid matt, crossover with Resident evil

A few month after stick leaves, matt is in Raccoon City (some company tried to get publicity by paying a field trip to the kids ofthe orphanage, an estranged relative living there decided to take him in or other handwavey reason).
Of course, that's when the dead starts to walk.

Matt/Foggy, Matt joined cirque du soleil instead of becoming a lawyer

Matt never ended up going to law school and ended up joining cirque du soleil, or something like it, as an acrobat instead. While doing a show in NYC, he runs into some legal trouble and Foggy takes his case.

Matt's mom stopped Foggy's family adopting Matt as a child

Foggy hero worshipped Matt after he saved that man's life. So when Anna (Foggy's mom) hears Matt's dad died she keeps an eye on things. When no one comes forward she and Edward have a serious talk. They decide to adopt Matt.

Matt's mom is approached about this. Not wanting to miss the chance to see Matt grow up (even if she doesn't want to raise him) she blocks the adoption. Perhaps this is also why he was designated too difficult for fostercare, and he always thought it was his disability and behaviour problems.

When Foggy brings Matt home from college during the holidays, Anna and Edward are overwhelmed. They treat him as theirs. Years later they manage to get him to accept their love. He agrees to let them adopt him as an adult.

Before the adoption takes place Anna seeks out Maggie. She's angry that Maggie stole Matt's chance to grow up with loving parents, and angry Maggie took away Anna's chance to be there for her son through all those years he badly needed a parent. Matt's finally seeking therapy, and Anna points out how damaged not giving him a parent made him. He spent half his childhood believing no one cared.

I mainly want Anna going all Mama bear on Maggie and pointing out what Matt really needed was a family willing to parent and love him. She doesn't want Maggie trying to block this adoption too. And for Matt's sake trying to come up with some agreement with Maggie over the adoption.

The fact that Foggy was happy with having Matt back wasn't the only reason why he wanted to reopen their firm. He also really needed to get out of HCB after running into some issues with his shadier clients.

But now his mistakes are following him and he needs help.

Matt in prison without powers

Matt in prison without being able to use his powers. This makes life very difficult especially when he gets trouble from the other inmates.

Power loss could be cos he has to hide them to help the appeal that he can't be Daredevil cos he's blind, or maybe he's forced to take drugs that subdue the powers - or whatever reason you think.

I'd also be up for reading any other fics where Matt is in prison. Thanks so much if you fill! :)

Kid!Matt & Father Lantom: CSA and moral dilemmas

Kid!Matt tells Father Lantom that a adult (priest? teacher? stick?) has been sexually abusing him. Father Lantom can't do anything about it since Matt told him about it during confession time, and Matt doesn't want to talk to anyone else about it.

Father Lantom feels much religious guilt about the whole deal.

The Assassins and Chaste worked together in the past - Assassin's creed crossover

The Chaste and Assassins have an intertwined history, especially as the Hand infiltrates the Templars more and more. They started for different reasons, but the two groups worked together when they had the same goal.

Now, the Assassins need the Chaste's help again. One tiny problem: the Chaste are gone. But there are rumors that it continues through its only surviving member: the Devil of Hell's Kitchen.

So, yeah. The Assassins try to recruit Matt in for a mission to stop the Templars and send their master assassin to do it. Doesn't matter who, OC, Desmond, or mess with timelines and bring Altaïr or Ezio into play (there was one fic I came across where the bleed effect was so strong, that Desmond ended up developing multiple personalities and the other two Assassins came back to life through him...the personality shifts as it flipped between the three was interesting)

All the while, Matt is all "Who the hell are you people?!! And stop stabbing people!"

Go nuts.
