FUCK YES.
Tactile signing is a thing, but would require Matt to know sign language, which isn't super likely for him to know off the bat. He could learn it, but that would take a while, and Foggy would be super frustrated in the mean time.

I realise variations of this have probably been prompted before, but I've yet to see a fill that fits my exact vision, so I'm gonna prompt it again. If anyone can point me to an already existing fic though, then great.
Basically Matt gets involved with Wilson and Vanessa, in the full knowledge of who they are and what they do. Evil Power Couple may know Matt is Daredevil, or may just think he's a worryingly idealistic lawyer, your call. He's primarily there because he needs information on their movements etc. Evil Power Couple know this, and string him along until they decide they like this one, and would rather like to keep him. They get him in the bedroom, in a position he can't escape for whatever reason (doesn't want to blow his cover? scared for his loved ones? plain old tied to the bed?), and let him know they're on to him.
Obviously Matt freaks, but he can't get away, and they don't /seem/ to be breaking out the knives or the kidnapped friends, so he resolves to grit his teeth and take one for the team, then get very very far away. Only it doesn't really happen like that.
Vanessa and Wilson start out with gentle touches and kisses and work their way up until poor oversensitive Matt neither knows or cares that anything's wrong. Then they draw back, put his clothes back on, and cuddle him like he's the best teddy bear in the shop.
Matt is even more freaked out.
As the days progress, they don't let him out of the appartment, nix all his escape ideas, maybe casually threaten him a little. But inbetween they lavish him with great food, interesting conversation, and snuggles. Matt's trying to leave, of course he is. It's just so hard to remember /why/.

In all the Red Room!Foggy prompts I've seen,Foggy has never told Matt about his past and finds out horribly (usually involving the avengers).I'm kinda wanting the opposite:Matt is working with the Avengers when the shit hits the fan and Foggy swoops in to kick ass and take names. Matt beams like a proud dad while the Avengers look on in shock.

I'm craving some protective!Fisk and protective!Vanessa, but what I really want is them being protective of Matt, not Daredevil.

They don't know their boyfriend is the mask, but they do know that he's covered with old scars and new bruises appear all the time. Is someone hurting him? He gets evasive when they talk to him about it, so they take action.

They make their displeasure known to the prime suspects - I'm thinking Foggy, Karen, Frank if you can work him into Matt's life as well as Daredevil's, any of his clients that concern them... And the asshole who hurt him as a kid of course.

Would prefer that they don't find out about him being Daredevil (at least not until the very end), and that Vanessa takes an active role in the intimidation/torture.

Oh man, this, all of this, but especially the Frank part. I mean, as an outsider, given the choice between Foggy, Karen, and Frank, which one would you think is the one who's abusing your little cinnamon roll? (Hint: the one who's an ex-military, ex-con gun nut with anger issues.)

But then. Frank would be, like, so unimpressed with the whole Matt/Fisk/Vanessa situation that he would give back as good as he got. I mean, even if you don't wear Matt/Frank shipper goggles, it's hard to deny that Frank is weirdly and sometimes illogically protective of Matt even when they're not being allies. In other words, he would not be pleased that Matt was getting involved with these assholes, and he would be supremely unamused when they then turn around and accuse him of hurting Matt.

The situation could only end in awesome.

The thing is, Fisk is selfish and has no qualms about getting what he wants even if literally everyone around him (some of whom he greatly respects and admires) is saying "no, don't do the thing!" The obsessive way he channeled all of his emotions into Mission: Date Vanessa basically made the whole incredibly lucrative and effective alliance of criminal organizations that he worked so hard for implode in a horrible fiery shitstorm right beneath his nose.

So what happens when the switch flips and he realizes that pursuing Matt is also something he wants, for whatever reason? Maybe he realizes that he can use a romantic/sexual entanglement to exert some sort of control over Daredevil, and that's worth way more than just killing him outright. Maybe something forced them to interact and over time he began to enjoy his company, or at least get an intoxicating rush of power from manipulating the man that almost took everything he had away from him. Maybe he just plain falls for Matt, the violent idealist whose conviction he had always admired, whose butt looks amazing in literally any pants. Maybe spending time in jail unhinged him even further and made him develop the sort of obsession he has in the comics (though preferably it does extend to a sexual interest in this story, because yum.)

Except, when Vanessa finds out she doesn't encourage him or get turned on by it or join in, she views it as the cheating as it is and basically says "no, don't do the thing!" But he's Fisk, so he does the thing anyway, and then starts flipping tables and having emotional meltdowns when doing the thing starts to ruin everything he cares about just like people warned him that it would.

Whether he knows Matt's secret identity going in or finds it out over the course of their relationship is totally up to the author.

Does Fisk feel guilty? Does he feel justified? Does he try to hide them from each other? Does Vanessa up and leave, does she try to turn a blind eye and grow progressively more dissatisfied with the situation over time or does she dig her heels in and try to force Matt back out of Fisk's life? Does she object because she has no interest in sharing Fisk, or does she do it because she's mostly worried and can see how messy and terrible it'll turn out for everyone involved and she's protective over Fisk? How do Vanessa and Matt react to each other's presence if they find themselves in a room together? Tell me, anons!

Hell yes. I've written a bunch of fics where Vanessa is okay with it because I love pairing all three, but jealous Vanessa would be a great dynamic. And it's closer to the comics, where Vanessa resented Matt for Fisk's obsession with him.

Vigilanteism is legal - but only for slaves

Inspired by some of the discussion on the medical examination/humiliation prompt.

In an AU where slavery is still legal, although only for people who agree to it as adults, vigilanteism in slaves is considered a 'safe' venting mechanism, especially for slaves who happen to have extraordinary abilities.

The Avengers aren't vigilantes, they're Stark Industries' corporate combat team. (Maybe one of the conflicts in Iron Man 2 was efforts to get Iron Man classed as a vigilante instead of SI's corporate champion.)

There's two ways to become a slave, either someone very rich pays off crushing debt - in which case the slave can be freed at any time his/her owner is willing to allow it, and (s)he consents to accept freedom - or a free person can assemble evidence that (s)he isn't fit to live independently. For instance consistent displays of self-neglect. A person who enslaves themselves under the second set of conditions can only be freed if (s)he either proves (s)he can maintain self-care independently, or his/her owner dies without leaving the slave to an owner (s)he will accept.

It's not uncommon for lawyers and doctors to end up belonging to their spouses, because a lot of new lawyers and doctors have too much work to do to have time for self-care, and becoming a slave that way means all your debts are wiped out - it also gives tax-breaks.

Before Foggy finds out about Matt's activities he wonders if Matt is trying to build a case for being enslaved, and who's influencing him, but he can't find any of the documentation that needs. Maybe he does start his own file though, because he could also be documenting the development of an abusive relationship.

Up to the filler if Matt does want to be enslaved, if he thinks he has to be to give Hell's Kitchen what it needs, or if he decides to keep on being Daredevil without the safety net of giving up his freeman status.

Oh man. Infidelity is my jam, but the thing with Matt is that I could never see him willingly cheating on anyone? At least, not the way he's portrayed in the show. While we haven't seen him in a serious romantic relationship yet, it seems like he takes all of his close interpersonal relationships very seriously, and given his abandonment issues, I doubt he'd be jumping at the chance to give anyone a legitimate excuse to leave him. Then add to that the moral issues of it (adultery is a pretty serious sin in the Catholic church, which is reflected by their historically low tolerance for divorce), and I generally think that, even if Matt had feelings for/was attracted to a person other than the one he was with, he would be very very against acting on them. (It looks like they might be setting up a love triangle dynamic between Karen/Matt/Elektra next season, so maybe some of these ideas will be tested soon...)

But. I love this prompt, so much. So like...could it be that Foggy misunderstands the situation? Like, maybe he sees something that, for once, actually isn't what it looks like, but Matt doesn't have a chance to explain it before Foggy takes his revenge?

If you don't know the story, it's about a little girl who is abused by her father and is sent out to sell matches in the cold on christmas eve without a coat or shoes. She ends up lighting the matches for warmth and sees a bunch of visions of what her life would be like if she was loved. Then her dead grandmother comes and takes her to heaven.

Maybe after his father died he was adopted by a mean person who only wanted him to make them money?
