I don't care what you have to do to bend the legal system to make this work, but I have a MIGHTY NEED to Matt for the a temporary foster parent to a 10 year old kid. Maybe the kid is also blind or has some other disability, and they decided to place him with Matt.

And Matt is so reluctant because a) it messes up his ability to just run off and do dangerous shit, but also b) he doesn't know how to BE a father-figure, and c) he's terrified he's going to be like Stick and ruin this kid.

Okay, so, even thought Matt has all these cool heightened senses and he can fight and parkour and stuff, and he could tell when Foggy was giving him the middle finger like 2 inches from his face, Matt is still considered LEGALLY BLIND.

Basically I want Foggy to be back to square one where Matt's blindness is concerned and realizing that, duh, just because Matt has "partial vision" (he doesn't, actually. Non-perceptive to light, remember?) that doesn't mean that he's a big lying lie-face that was pretending he couldn't see.

Fisk & Wesley threaten Matt

That long look that Fisk gave Matt as he left the art gallery piqued my interest. Seems like he got a bad feeling about Matt, and I found it funny that (in the show) both Fisk and Wesley ended up confronting Karen and Ben directly but didn't really bother with Matt.

So, as a slight departure from canon, I want them to decide that going after Matt - the perceived "weakest link" in the little group of annoyances - is the best choice of action. Maybe they show up at his apartment to have a little "chat" with him.

Matt has a quiet little freak-out in his head about how he should've hid his vigilante gear a little better (maybe some of the "security detail" start to be assholes by messing around with Matt's stuff), which makes it easier for him to pretend like he's freaking out because ~oh no, I'm blind and helpless and the bad men are threatening poor me, woe~

Or like, the situation starts to become overtly threatening (someone purposefully cocks a gun, or Fisk or Wesley starts leading him by the arm and they have a vice-grip that they purposefully make painful), and Matt is trying to figure out when/if it would be a good time to break out the fighting skills, because he KNOWS he's capable of fighting his way out of this but he's stymied by not wanting to reveal his identity to a whole bunch of criminals unless he's actually willing to go the distance and kill them to keep it quiet.

Basically my kink is strong people who are momentarily rendered helpless by a situation and have to reign themselves in even though their fight/flight instinct is screaming at them.

All of that, please. Bonus if Matt somehow manages to turn that situation into an advantage, maybe gaining intel, or if he manages to gain the upper hand by 'accidentally' knocking people out, etc. Make him a blind Jackie chan with two vases and a baby, basically.

Wildly inappropriate service animal

Matt refuses to get a guide dog, because it isn't compatible with his lifestyle (living in a flat in the city, going out at night to be a vigilante), So one day Foggy decides to surprise him with a guide pony.
"Well you said you didn't want a dog. Dobbin isn't a dog" (Matt and Karen facepalm)

The trouble is they can't return it for a week because of plot handwavy reasons, so they somehow have to take care of the pony, in the city, for a whole week without getting arrested for animal cruelty.

Bonus points if Matt takes it with him to restaurants and stuff.

This could be great for exploring the eugenic implications of scifi (I have not read or watched nearly enough scifi that addressed this)
Like If there's a some kind of medical 'fix' for Matt's blindness but it's really shitty and he doesn't want to lose his other senses. Stick could bring it into full cochlear implant controversy levels.

Matt's wound gets infected

Come on it was bound to happen at some point. He's constantly getting seriously injured under very unhygenic conditions, he gets himself patched up on an amateur basis under non-sterile conditions, he refuses to go to hospital and so gets no antibiotics, and he's stubborn and reckless enough to ignore the early signs of an infection. So Matt gets injured, he gets himself patched up and its fine until the wound gets infected, badly. I'm talking full on fever, rotting flesh, body horror, toxic shock, the works. Go to town on it.

Triple bonus- When his friends find him they take him to the hospital and the doctors have to use maggots to clean the wound.

I basically want a proper, old fashioned pirate adventure.

Bipolar Matt + Diagnosed on Happenstance

While really agitated and not thinking clearly, Matt goes out to fight without his DD armor and gets hurt really badly. This time, Foggy and/or Karen ends up taking him to the hospital where he not only gets a physical evaluation and treatment, but the doctors decide he might need a psychological evaluation also and they place him on temporary psychiatric hold.

What happens next?

Matt gets into a relationship with someone (Electra? Frank Castle?) who starts abusing him, but Foggy, Claire, Father Lantom et al. assume that his injuries are just the usual Daredevil ones. Those who don't know that he's Daredevil (Karen, Brett, Marci?) don't understand why they aren't more concerned.

Basically in the comics DD has an iconic plotline where the kingpin learns Matt's true identity and proceeds to systematically destroy his entire life which drives Matt into a severely depressive and eventually psychotic breakdown that ends up with him sleeping in the street until he is saved by nuns. What does this look like in the show? Are Foggy and Karen able to help him before he falls off the face of the earth and/or becomes too sick to function? In what ways would Fisk try to ruin Matt's life? How would characters that are not in that storyline (such as Claire) react to the situation?

So the first thing Foggy says to Matt is that he is really really good looking. What always struck me as funny is that, truthfully, Matt really wouldn't be able to know if he was good looking. He can't use mirrors after all and while I am sure he knows his body and face are shapely and that he is considered handsome by his girlfriends/boyfriends, he doesn't really know what he looks like.

Anyway so one day Matt and Foggy are hanging out (and maybe a little tipsy) and Matt asks Foggy what he really looks like. Foggy starts describing it, the two of them get really caught up, and soon they're naked and making out and Matt is insisting that Foggy narrates every moment of it.

Matt’s faith has kept him going for as long as he can remember. He hadn’t had a perfect childhood, but he had always prayed before bed. And then, after the accident and his father’s death, he had only started to pray more. Life had gone on.

Going to church helps with the guilt. He does terrible things, awful things, and even without the mask, he is a bad person. He is a sinner and he has so much to atone for—but he tries. He confesses as often as he can, and he tries to do better.

But the guilt only gets worse. He still lies to Foggy, even with the truth about his secret identity out there. He lies to Karen even more. He hides bruises and scars, and he lies and says I’m fine. He does unspeakable things at night.

Matt didn’t use to believe in the death penalty. He used to think that no one deserved that, but being Daredevil blurred the lines a little. If the villains deserved the pain and suffering, why didn’t they deserve death? He didn’t want them to live, to continue on with their vile existence, so why should he let them? They were at his mercy, he could deliver justice, and—and he’s disgusted with himself.

The first time it happens, he doesn’t even do it on purpose. He hits too hard, pulls back too slow, and the man’s breathing ceases. His heart stops, slowly, so slowly… His skin grows cold alarmingly fast.

The next day, he finds himself at church, but he does not confess.

Forgive me, father, for I have sinned—but there is no forgiving this, he knows that much. There is no going back; there is no penance that could absolve this sin.

It happens again, easier this time.

Then again. And again.

The prayers don’t come quite as easily. Why would God be listening? Why would God care? If anything, God should condemn him, should smite him where he kneels, should unleash his wrath—

Father Lantom worries, especially when Matt’s visits become a little less frequent. Foggy and Karen worry too, but he lies, piling on guilt, and blames his odd behavior on tiredness. Claire asks about all the blood.

God, there is so much blood on his hands.

A month passes, and he does not set foot inside a church. Once, he stands outside, but where it used to feel familiar and comforting, all he feels now is judgment and a waiting sentence. He does not go to confession.

Caffeine keeps him going. The adrenaline that he finds when he lets out his rage, fists pummeling into warm flesh, keeps him going. The blood staining his hands and his soul keeps him going. He subsists on lies and guilt and anger—anger at the world, at himself, at his god for deserting him.

Matt stops praying.

The world goes on.

Because up until then I thought I was partnered with the single biggest most incredible flake in the tri-state area. I spent half my life wondering what the hell was the matter with you. Listen, I know you were a good person and a good friend – you always were – but you were flaky to the point of ridiculous."

So, please: write me Foggy noticing Matt's extreme flakiness! How ridiculous do Matt's excuses get, what kind of theories does Foggy come up with for Matt's weirdness? Because that shit is hilarious.
