Matt loves bathing (or bathing with) his partner. There's something so satisfying about smelling their shampoo in the middle of a restaurant and knowing he put that scent there, that he made his partner feel good, and that nobody but the two of them can smell it.

+5 for bubbles, bath bombs, bath salts, Matt getting dizzy with the smells but hanging onto his partner's voice and knowing it's well, well worth it.

Oh, Foggy's definitely a hobbit. (The comics love to remind us that he is a big eater.) But I think Matt's more of an elf--tall, skinny, acrobatic, excellent at reading the sounds and scents around him. Once they become friends, they're quite the odd couple.

so for some reason or another, Matt finds himself teaming up with, say, Spider-Man. all well and good, at least up until he figures out Spider-Man's like seventeen, and he ends up probably lecturing the poor guy for being a CHILD and SWINGING AROUND IN A COSTUME and then makes him, idk, some kind of comfort food since he's injured and Matt's first instinct when confronted with kids boils down to something like keep them safe and comfortable and also safe

and then it spreads. and suddenly Matt's the unofficial vigilante big brother to any teenaged superhero in and around New York.

Matt would like them all to stop following him now, please.

+ Kamala Khan you guys. or Kate Bishop. or America Chavez. or, seriously, Inwill love you if you can somehow squeeze as many baby superheroes as you can, they don't even have to make sense, I would kill for Spider-Gwen okay.

There was this British show on years ago called Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased). It was your run-of-the-mill private  detective deal, except Hopkirk was dead, had hung about as a ghost, and then helped solved crimes with Randall, the only person who could interact with him.

How would this change Nelson and Murdock if one of them had died and sees no reason to let death get in the way of being a good lawyer?

YESSS. I used to be obsessed with the Vic & Bob remake of that show! I'd love to see Nelson and Murdock (Deceased), especially if Matt died in some way unrelated to being Daredevil and that whole thing was still a secret between them.

(Murdock and Nelson (Deceased) would be way too depressing. Matt would not cope well with the death or the sudden proof of ghosts existing.)

MCU!Karen suddenly wakes up in the Miller comics universe

Okay, so for anyone who hasn't read the Miller run of DD (which is horrifyingly depressing, and the ending is...kind of silly, but most people also view as *the* defining period of the character) in it, Fisk systematically takes apart Matt's life and Karen ends up as a heroin junkie and porn star/hooker, who sells Matt's secret identity out for a new hit (because Miller couldn't write female characters for shit, mostly).
I'd like to see how it would play out if Mcu!Karen, who is smart, capable, and able to take at least a little bit care of herself, finds out about Matt being DD...and then wakes up in an alternate reality where her life is an absolute shitshow.

But this time she isn't arm candy and damsel in distress, she isn't helpless, and she for damn sure isn't going to sell Matt out. She's going to find him (and Foggy) and with them, she is going to take down Fisk. Again.

Because the prompt post above is *really* easy to misread. So I want an AU similar to the 'Almost Human' AU prompted a couple pages ago, only Matt is a sex bot in this one. But for some reason he still *acts* like a high-end-AI, almost indistinguishable from a real human. Foggy finds him when he ends up, working for Landman and Zack, being involved in a case where someone was running an illegal sex bot dungeon/cover for a trafficking ring. When Foggy goes there for case reasons, he ends up finding a bot actually locked in a room like a live human prisoner. Turns out it/he may have had something to do with the mysterious Man in the Mask who was involved in busting that operation in the first place...

because i know they'll EVENTUALLY meet in the defenders series but until then all i have is Glorious, Glorious Fanfic.

what do they think of each other? matt is usually very patient seeming on the outside and very concerned with morality and doing the right thing; jessica is surly, short-tempered all the time, drinks, smokes, and swears like a sailor. i feel like their first meeting (when matt is in costume or not) would be hilarious, especially since matt is a much more structured and skillful crimefighter while jess is a knock-down, drag-out bar brawler that was, in her comics, unafraid to throw a man through her office window in plainclothes.

The Nelsons are descended from Thor. This mostly manifests as big families and a talent for meteorology and construction. Until Foggy has a run in with Loki/powered villain of the week. Suddenly, pregnancy rates in and around Foggy's building sky rocket. His favourite barista's fertility issues are no longer a problem...
Maybe Marci storms into the office yelling about how her implant and his condom failing is entirely his fault.

After they meet Matt and Foggy goes to bars after a long week of exams. True to hsi words Matt is an excellent wingman and both Matt and Foggy find themselves always surrounded by beautifull people (man or woman). After a while Mtt can stop but listening to a certain reputation his friend had gotten.
Foggy on bed is practically a sex god. Matt hears people talking about how he last hours or he just comes and goes for more. One particularly day he hears Marci sitting across from his telling a friend how insatiable Foggy is in bed.
So Matt gets turned on listening to this and he just has to check this himself giving that he too can last a long time in bed and so far noone can kee up with him and he enjoys sex but he wants to enjoy it more. He wants to go and dont get worried that he hes to hurry because his partner already came and maybe they will fall sleep on him (and that had happened a couple of times).
So Matt tries and tries to seduce Foggy but Foggy dont give till one time Matt just get out of shower naed, hard and leaking and giving Foggy a show.

This is all I want in life. It is my headcanon that Foggy's hair is one of Matt's favorite things about him and that even a straight!Matt would be really put out if Foggy cut it. It makes him distinctive and it smells nice and is so soft!

Gimme all the excuses Matt has made to touch Foggy over the years.

There's the standard arm grab for leading, of course, but what else? Foggy passing Matt something and Matt brushing Foggy's hand before he grabs it? Matt getting very handsy while drunk and happy? The fist-bumps, even, and that clip of Matt grinning like a loon and holding Foggy's wrist while Foggy fills his glass? Just gimme all the non-accidental/not-actually-necessary touches between them.


+100 if Matt (consciously/subconsciously?) rations himself. He won't let himself brush Foggy's hand more than once. He gets away with initiating hugs if he's very, very drunk. He mostly tries really hard to keep his hands to himself. Mostly.

+1000 if after the reveal and reconciliation there's an awkward period where neither of them are quite sure where the boundary is anymore and Matt kind of hates it and is trying not to show it, because he knew things would change if Foggy knew his secrets, he knew it, he's got no right to want it back. (And maybe Foggy tilts his head a bit at Matt's death grip on his cane and at the hesitations when Matt reaches out for him and then stops. Because honestly, Foggy had thought that he'd be the one left dealing with personal space issues once he'd come to terms with Matt's senses. The idea that it might be mutual is - new.)

I want to snuggle this prompt like Matt wants to snuggle Foggy, omg.

Just imagine: college!Matt offering Foggy shoulder rubs during finals ("Did you know that tense muscles can give you headache, Foggy? Studying with a headache sucks, so..."). post reveal!Matt showing Foggy how to throw a proper punch (for self-defense reasons) and being a very hands-on instructor. Matt running his hands over the front of Foggy's suit before a trial to make sure he jacket fits properly and his tie is straight. Matt leaning a little more than strictly necessary against Foggy when he twists an ankle.

I need to sit down and think about this for a little while, I think.

I have a Mary-Sue crack type story going on where Frank Castle and Matt Murdock are an item. Matt is mentoring/helping raise some of Stick's abandoned students. Frank Castle has been forced to adopt an enhanced senses/possibly super powered pre-teen who was the victim of human smugglers. In the course of raising/mentoring teen heroes, the various others come along.

Spider-Man is the only one in the know that Daredevil and Matt are the same. Everyone else thinks Matt and Daredevil are brothers. Spider-Man, being the troll that he is calls Matt Dad. Because Daredevil-> DD -> D.and.d.-> Dad

When all the teen super-heroes grow up, they keep calling Matt Dad and know they can rely on him. Eventually due to (hand wavy science magic b/c I said so) Matt gets preggo and has a little girl with Frank. Of course Frank ends up being a stay at home dad and loves it. When the girl is 2, Peter has a little boy. B/c having a baby in day care is expensive, Peter & Spouse are trading off baby duties. They call Frank in a panic b/c they both have to work one day and need an emergency baby-sitter. Frank's been drafted by Matt. He doesn't care, he's fine with taking care of a baby for a day with his little girl... But then the baby sneezes while on the diaper changing mat and now they're covered in webs. Really, Peter could have mentioned it. And later, Frank's little girl sticks the baby to the walls b/c she thinks it's funny. Peter knew the baby would stick to things occasionally but not about the web sneezing. That's new.

Frank than becomes baby Parker's baby sitter. He likes it. Late, he's trying to talk Foggy & Marci into letting him babysit their new child b/c his will be going to kindergarten soon. He doesn't know Matt is expecting a second.

I'm having fun with stay-at-home-dad Frank and don't-call-me-grandpa Matt with their first "grand-child" baby Parker. Matt has to listen to his little girl's advice about baby Parker. Because you know he's not been really believing Frank's stories but the first time the baby is on the ceiling and not where Matt left him...

Stick pulls the heartbeat trick on Matt, Matt/Foggy

So Stick comes back and creeps around a bit, getting the scoop on Matt's life before Matt notices he's there.

Then Matt DOES notice him and there's a confrontation and Stick is a hundred times more disdainful than ever because, geez, the kid went and got himself compromised. Matt asks what the hell Stick's talking about, Stick says he can't believe Matt did something so stupid as get a weakness for the lawyer of all people and at least they're not banging yet.

"What the fuck, it's not like that - " Because it's not. Matt and Foggy are bros trying to patch up their friendship. But then Stick says something like -

"It's in your heartbeat, you idiot. You went and fell in love. What the hell am I supposed to do with you now? ...oh, for fuck's sake, kid. You didn't know?"

And then Matt proceeds to deal with that revelation very badly. (denial! avoidance! not-very-covert checking out of Foggy-shaped persons and then minor panic attacks!)



OR, as a variation -

Matt is already pining away when Stick picks up on it. Matt tries to lie about it and gets called out. Possibly while Foggy is right there because Stick is exactly that kind of dick and maybe he's hoping that this will put a wedge between them and encourage Matt to cut his ties.


Either way, give me Matt suffering when Stick comes by to pull the invasive heartbeat trick on him.

What it says on the tin. I'm not picky about the details. The members of Team Avocado all have chronic illnesses/disorders in some form and bond over shared experiences, accommodate each other the best they can and take care of any person who is having a bad day.
