Foggy now has to lie when Matt asks him about Karen. And he knows that Matt knows that he's lying. And Matt knows that he knows but Foggy won't break the promise he made to Karen. It doesn't make his situation any less miserable.
Meanwhile Karen worries that his changed mood has to do with the fact that he is judging her for what she's done.

Okay so i love the whole thing of 'Making Foggy lie to everyone, when he's the one who has the strongest 'no lying' policy of the bunch' like its a trend ive noticed across the kink meme and im 100% here for it (make my sunshine boy suffer HAHA)

I also love Karen because honestly I feel this (like i don't mean... killing someone lol but. like lying to people so that they don't judge you i get that. i feel that. :[ )

Foggy can't stop lying

Foggy seems to place a lot of emphasis on telling the truth and being open about things. It seems very important to him and a big part of his moral code.
The kink meme seems pretty onto the trend of making Foggy lie more, so I want to continue his suffering by devoting a prompt to the theme.

Either Foggy is the dedicated secret keeper for all his friends and has to deal with constantly lying about one thing or another. Or maybe it's a magical thing where he literally can't tell the truth (like that one prompt where due to magic Matt can't lie at all) (would the magic extend to altering his heartbeat and stuff so he's even lying to Matt??)

Matt Murdock/Melinda May, one night stand

May somehow ends up in Hell's Kitchen during her current holiday fighting bad guys alongside Daredevil, and ends up coming with him back to his apartment with the idea they can let off steam together. Although maybe they share a drink first. Or test their skills sparring against each other(bonus points if he somehow gets to talking about Stick, and she informs him she's a hard-driving teacher but even she knows what he did was wrong). Or maybe he makes an attempt worthy of a lawyer to find out who the hell she is, and she refuses to talk but takes his contact information down(if S.H.I.E.L.D. was ever exposed they'd definitely need the legal help). Or maybe one of them gets injured enough in the fight they drop by Claire's first, and Melinda doesn't say anything but finds herself thinking they're in the same boat romantically(I'm a Philinda shipper with the headcanon that they both know about the mutual feelings, but won't act on them because of Coulson being in charge of everyone).
Or maybe they dispense with the pleasantries and she just pins him to the bed and rides his mouth and/or dick until he's a shaking, crying, begging mess, because you know she would.

When male fertility suddenly drops to 0.1% of the human population, crime gangs soon realize that people will pay a very high price for fertile semen and begin to kidnap fertile men.

Some couples will pay extra for personal service, where the fertile male will have sex with the woman, and if he refuses to perform, her partner is allowed to force him to ejaculate, either through rape or prostate stimulation.

Other fertile males become sperm donors, who have to ejaculate often to supply sperm for the black market trade for insemination. Those who comply are treated pretty decently. Those who refuse are not, and are forced to ejaculate using electro stimulation of the prostate.

Matt is Fisk's most prized fertile male, and he commands a high price. Who wouldn't want a baby fathered by the former Devil of Hell's Kitchen? Fisk & Vanessa are already bringing up one child fathered by Matt & are trying for another, but he isn't making it easy on them, and that is part of their fun.

When Matt attacks yet another paying customer he is downgraded to sperm donor, and refuses to perform. Wesley gladly takes on the task of making him.

Foggy/Matt and Foggy/Marci - irrational attraction

Usually, Foggy Nelson is the textbook example of the Decent Boyfriend. If he's attracted to you, he will TELL you instead of pining, he will respect your boundaries and make sure to communicate at length with you and it's all terribly, terribly rational and responsible. Safe. Calculate, even. Mind over passion.

With two notable exceptions: Marci Stahl, who makes Foggy's dick speak louder than his head, and this stupid crush he has on his best friend and business partner, of all people - the kind of crush that has him pining and suffering quietly in sweet, sweet torment, and makes his heart flutter like he's 14 again and scribbling "Matt + Foggy" all over his diary.
And he just can't get the words out.

I'm a sucker for Matt/Foggy and that's mainly what I'm looking for (can be unrequited), but feel free to focus on Marci as much as you like, I really adore her.

Bonus:
Foggy knew he was fucked from the moment his ridiculously attractive new roommate sounded like he was about to rebuff him, and instead of saying something like "Hey, it's okay, didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, hope you don't mind sharing a room with a bi guy?" he started blabbering some bullshit about picking up girls.
It all went downhill from there.

So I feel like this meme needs more really trashy, id!fic a/b/o aus. I feel like the ones we have already are too classy. I wasn't nearly embarrassed enough reading ( http://daredevilkink.dreamwidth.org/1742.html?thread=2982606#cmt2982606 ), for example.

I want Matt as, like, your typical trashy romance feisty heroine. Except still Matt, so it's automatically kind of hilarious.

Omega!Daredevil and pretending-to-be-a-Beta!Matt. Beta!Karen and Beta!Foggy. Alpha!Frank Castle. Alpha!Fisk. Alpha!other-random-villains-who-would-like-to-make-daredevil-theirs. Beta!other-other-random-villains-who-would-like-to-make-daredevil-theirs, if only for the bragging rights. Beta!vast-majority-of-the-population.

Does Foggy know about his best friend's other big secret? Or does he find out at the same time as he finds out about Daredevil, making the revelation twice as much a betrayal. Did he ever really know his friend at all? The Matt he knew was a Beta, if he'd known otherwise he would have treated him differently. Is Foggy going to have to work through some latent whatever-the-a/b/o-equivalent-of-sexism-is?

Is Claire the first other omega Matt's ever met?

How does the fact that Matt's an omega affect general perception of Daredevil? Does the very fact of his existence make him a civil rights activist? Do people refuse to believe in him? Or do they just talk about his ass a lot more.

What happens when he starts to go into heat at an inconvenient moment?

I don't even really need smut, just vaguely harlequiny a/b/o shenanigans. Blackmail. Omega trafficking. Counterfeit suppressants. Lots of vaguely threatening sexual tension, and dubious consent all around. I kind of feel like there should be an arranged marriage somewhere, but even I'm not sure how that would fit in.

I would like to see Matt paired with whichever Alpha character you like, but preferably not Karen or Foggy, as I feel they are more valuable as innocent bystanders witness to the inevitable train wreck that is Matt Murdock's romantic life in any incarnation.

So, I just read this article - http://www.buzzfeed.com/richardhjames/this-blind-jack-russell-has-his-own-guide-dog-and-the-insepa#.usajpXjkp - and the cuteness factor is at 1000% and it just screamed Matt and Foggy to me.

For those that can't read the article, it's about two dogs, one which is blind, and the other "guides" it. They were abandoned by their owner, and they get distressed if they're separated, even if it's only for a few minutes.

Maybe Father Lantom or Karen takes them in?

This was just too adorable not to prompt.

Serial Killer Targeting Abusive Partners; Matt Plays the Abused Bait

Yes, I know Domestic Violence is (as most violence tends to be) one of the most horrifying things in reality. But I just *really* like reading fic about it, I'm sorry.^^° (Especially if it turns out to just be pretend play...have I mentioned my *other* love is badasses pretending to be terrified victims?)

Anyway! So, I want a serial killer on the loose in Hell's kitchen, who targets and kills abusive partners. Problem is, whenever one of the victims he rescued from their partner sees his face, he kills them too, to protect his identity. (So, obviously not Frank Castle on a romantic crusade).

And he's *good* at getting away. So, obviously the only option? Matt has to pose as the abused part of a relationship to attract him.

Foggy declares this plan insane, and the only way he sees to keep an eye on Matt and get him to treat this as seriously and carefully as possible, is to pose as his abusive partner (can be slash or gen, can be established romantic relationship, or one can develop through their play-acting).
Foggy obviously hates filling this role - and Matt is scary good at his part. It helps that he's still out most nights and getting beat up, so at least they don't have to fake the bruises. Other nights, they're out together in bars, or restaurants, or dancing, just wherever this killer is suspected to choose his targets from. And Foggy kind of thinks this could be so much fun if they weren't stuck in their stupid roles - but then sometimes, before he flinches again and cringes at Foggy's touch, Matt flashes him the most secret, genuine grin that says he thinks so, too.

I was listening to BTSK by MS MR when I got to these lines and they just hit me right in the heart with Matt/Foggy feelings:

What can I say, I'm weak, and I'm a total sap, and I'd really like something inspired by these lyrics, especially the last line.

Foggy blames himself for Elena's death

In show, Foggy feels a degree of responsibility to what happened to Elena. He says so to Karen at Josie's, and Karen brings the fact up to Matt later.

What if he can't let that go? That even after Fisk is put away and everything is back to normal, Foggy is still convinced that his advice caused an old woman to be brutally murdered. And he's finding it hard to live with that.

Just, give me all the angst.

Foggy's not the violent one, right? He believes in justice and the law,using his words instead of his fists. He can hit a guy with a softball bat sure, but he'd never go do a Fisk on some guy's head.

So what would it take for him to snap?

Inspired by a frickin' amazing DC comic where Batman's butler and confidante Alfred beats the holy SHIT out of SUPERMAN (ok, Alfred's taken some sort of enhancement pill and Superman's kind of evil - it's complicated ok?) because Superman has done a Bane on Batman's spine. The whole thing is brutal, and entirely unexpected, especially when it comes from a character whose first recourse has never been violence. I just really want to see what it would take for FOGGY to actually HURT someone.

Bonus: while Alfred is wailing on Superman, he screams "No more! You hear me? You don't get to hurt my family any more." If you can get that line in, I'll love you forever.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine/Daredevil Crossover

I've been catching up on Brooklyn 99 recently and I can't help but notice the similarities between Jake Peralta and Matt. Both have typical heroic traits. Both are really goo at their jobs. Both have abandoment issues. Like Matt, Jake's not willing to give up on a case just because he's seriously injured and internally bleeding ("That's where the bloood's supposed to be!").

Jake's just such a giant goofball and hates defense attorneys.
I would love to see him and the rest of the detectives at the Nine-Nine have to interact with Matt, Karen, Foggy, and really dangerous and gritty bad guys of Hell's Kitchen.

Hell's Kitchen could probably use help as half of their police department was fired, put on suspension, or carted off to jail in the wake of Fisk's arrest. Maybe Peralta and Co are investigating a murder in that precint.

Jake would totally make a bet with the other detectives that he can solve the identity of the elusive Daredevil.

I'll probably end up filling this myself later on, TBH. Right now I'm slowly working on other prompts though and would love other ideas and feedback. <3

For some reason, I can't help imagining Holt knowing Daredevil's identity (or maybe Gina pretends that he does to bait Jake) and Jake strings Boyle into a ridiculous 'get information from Holt' plan which eventually requires them to ask Matt for his help in finding out Daredevil's identity?

Foggy's MOM mom. The one who lives in Brooklyn, bakes cookies, decorates the Christmas tree with popcorn strings, and sews scarves and mittens. She should probably be divorced (or widowed).

Either:
- Foggy never finds out and it's a long running thing
- Foggy DOES find out, and his mom just shuts down his objections. "I have needs, and your friend is very handsome."

Matt/Foggy or Matt&Foggy - Practical marriage

So there's that Accidentally-Married-in-Vegas prompt/fill, and there was that Married-for-college-tuition-but-never-break-up prompt/fill, but could I request Matt and Foggy, post-reveal, getting married for purely practical purposes?

There are the usual reasons, of course - can't testify against each other, right to make medical decisions for each other, etc. - but there could be any number of other reasons as well. Maybe Foggy's mom or dad is dying and desperately wanted to see him married before they did, and his family believes he's just been lying about not dating Matt for all these years anyway. Maybe Matt doesn't want anyone else to get implicated in his Daredeviling, and being married is the best way to permanently keep would-be love interests at bay. Maybe one of them finds out they're a father and the kid is left with them so they decide to get married and raise it together.

I'd love it if it ended up M/F eventually, but it can stay an asexual but happily, affectionately platonic marriage as well. I just request that there are no affairs or open relationships on the side, as I'd like it to center around Matt and Foggy and domestic happiness. ☺

so I just read the newest Daredevil comic and oh god I'm broken and in so much pain. everything is bad and there is nothing nice, and I just want some happy fluff.

there's a line where Matt says that he prays that Foggy, his best friend, and Kirsten, his current canon girlfriend, will understand how much he loves them. I want this to be not mired in the angst it currently is, SO:

5 times Matt told his friends he loved them (Foggy, Karen, Father Lantom, Claire, whoever). slash, gen, I don't mind, so long as at least most of it is lovely and sappy and nothing hurts.

Before I read it, I saw someone describe the reading experience at the beginning as being 'Well at least Matt's life can't get any worse at the moment' and at the end being 'Nope. I was wrong' and this perfectly summarizes my feelings on what I just put myself through

Okay, so we're agreed that in spite of all his many, many failings, Wilson Fisk understands and respects consent, yeah? When his wife made it clear she wasn't up for it he was really non-villainously good about it.

Expand that to 'Fisk is fucked up about relationships but he can recognise when someone's being manipulated', and make it about Matt however you like. Nobody gets to fuck with Daredevil except him? He takes a shine to a younger Matt (I love Vanessa/Fisk/Matt so maybe it's Vanessa that likes Matt first)? However you AU it, please just give me Fisk forcibly putting Matt out of an abusive partner's path (and maybe breaking said partner's head) and Matt being aghast.

In college Matt was actually a huge pothead. He's not big drinker, hates crowded parties, but just chillin with some friends and smoking a bowl is a great way to take the edge off his senses. Too bad his roommate (who seems like he'd be a total stoner) is hella straight edge...

Matt is adopted by Foggy's biological mother for social reasons. She's glad Matt isn't stupid and basically sends him off to tutors and prestigious schools. She is very pleased when he goes to law school. She keeps very little tabs on him. As long as he does well she's fine.

Then she learns her 'son' befriend her biological son and has made besties with him. She tries to stop it but Matt is very much not giving up Foggy. Especially after he learns that he let Foggy go.

Foggy and Matt, mind meld

I read a fic once where Matt and Foggy woke up with their minds linked so they could see through each other's eyes. I adored it, but I would like something a little sideways of that.

Whether it's by magic or crazy science or an alien artifact, something happens to either Matt or Foggy (but lbr, it probably happened to Matt) that unanchors his brain: he's projecting his thoughts or senses, or absorbing too much of everyone else's. It can be fixed, but it needs an anchor - somewhere for his brain waves to be directed to so they're not just exploding everywhere. The downside: he and this anchor would be mentally linked. Permanently. Not seeing through each other's senses, necessarily (although you could go that route), but hearing each other's thoughts. (Conscious and subconscious? One better than the other, probably? Able to tap into each other's memories? Maybe, maybe not?)

Being a martyr, Matt is willing to curl up and die rather than inflict his angst and guilt on anyone forever, especially since nobody knows what would happen if one of them died. Of course Foggy comes and knocks him upside the head for being a complete FOOL, you stupid ass, how could you ever think I'd let you die, you promised me no more secrets and we've already lived together and we are fucking wiring our brains together if it's the last thing we do, so help me God?!"

Romantic, ace romantic, ace aro, queerplatonic, whatever. \o/ In my ideal world it would be shippy because I'm a sucker and a sap, but any world in which they choose each other over anyone else makes me happy.

Bonuses in no particular order
• Matt's been in love with Foggy for years, because I can never get enough of pining!Matt
• The feelings are reciprocated
• The indignant protectiveness going both ways - Foggy would, of course, worry over Matt's thoughts and guilt and injuries, but Matt discovers things that have been bothering or upsetting Foggy and fusses back
• A good deal of focus on the various ways their lives change - and the various ways they DON'T change, because they already know each other damn well (like Foggy narrates actions for Matt, but maybe he starts automatically mentally transmitting images as well as the narration)
