Oh my lord can I possibly love you more DREAMING NIGHTMARE MEMORIES YESSSS ALL THE ANGST AND FEAR AND PANIC AND "WTF MATT?!"

And the singing. ;_; The SINGING. sINGIng badly TogEtheRrr omg. That's so fucking cute. :DDD

Fear floods through Foggy as he recognises the focus of the dream, a heartbeat before Matt does. Matt dying in his living room the night Foggy found out. They both can taste the blood - Matt's sense memory of that night adding to the memory - and Matt had woken up when his/Foggy's hands had been covered in it.
--- *CHOKES ON EVERYTHING* Oh god why did that not even occur to me? I thought he might dream of, idk, Stick or Daredeviling or something, but OH FUCK HE DREAMT OF NEARLY LOSING FOGGY Ahhhhhhh MY HEART

For some strange reason he goes back a few lines, starting with the line about love and God before belting out the finale.
--- Oh, GEEZ, Foggy, I WONDER WHY. smh

Amusement. Breakfast?

Foggy had tricked him into bed - again, Matt's not slept this much in years - nearly as soon as they got back so Matt didn't really have time to process.

It dawns on Matt that Foggy finally understands how much his commentary helps Matt and allows him breathing space from the onslaught of his senses.

=D I'm glad you liked it! It was unplanned, the nightmares, but I suddenly had to do it. I'm glad it worked!

Hehe yes. Also I got to have them sing a song from my favourite musical (and Matt declare his love, nearly). I'm also running with fanon that Matt can't sing.

Ah... perhaps that wasn't clear? They didn't have their own nightmares, they swapped nightmares. So Foggy dreams of Matt's blinding and Matt dreams of Foggy's fears of losing Matt... The blood on Matt's hands is his own; as Foggy saw it. I'll see if I can make that clearer for when I stick it on AO3.

Hehe yes! That line; Matt declaring his love. Because holy shit, the meaning for Matt of 'To love another person is to see the face of God'.

Lol, yup. Foggy seems a bit food obsessed to me so he's definitely in heaven right now.
