The song that made bitter tears fall on the poorly-spelled lemon that told the epic tale of Haldir and a mysteriously-named Mary Sue half-elf who singlehandedly fought the battle of Helm's Deep. Give me some over-the-top Daredevil vintage songfic set to that song. Admit it: We all had one. This is a safe space. Let it out.

So how many of you rememebr this F.R.I.E.N.D.S episode were everyone is making the "40 and single" deal.
I imagine this... after a hard week of exams they just got to relax having some beers and seeing something on the tv and F.R.I.E.N.D.S is on, they are buzzed and Foggy teels Matt that like the episode if they are both single by the time they are 40, they are gonna married each other cause fuck it.
So all those years passed and (we go canon here) and all Matt's lovers end up dead or something bad happens to them and he no longer can stay with them and the only person that has always been with him is Foggy which divorced Marci, beat up cancer in the face and like Matt cant stay in a long stable relationship cause you know he had to fake his death how many times now?.... and by the time they turn 41, Matt wants to hang up the suit, he says he's done that the city doesnt need him anymore but something is missing..
gimme all the grown ups talk, both 40 Matt and Foggy remembering their lives with their love ones and understanding that in some way they are always together and what better way to celebrate it than making the promise they both did drunk while watching F.R.I.E.ND.S come true.

The subway car is crowed and Matt is pressed up against so many people that he can't tell whose hand it is.

Does he freeze, or call attention to it? Does someone see and try to help him? Does Matt get molested in plain view of everyone but no one notices?

After reading the brilliant one about Foggy re-living Nelson vs. Murdock over and over again I have a desperate craving for the same thing happening to Matt.
Of course he'd first think that all he'd have to do is not go out that evening. But it doesn't work that way.
Foggy always finds out somehow for reasons from cracky (stumbling over Matt's costume) to angsty (Foggy getting attacked and Matt coming to the rescue and either he didn't even have the time to get into costume or Foggy figures it out anyway) to very angsty (somebody figures out Matt's identity and comes after him/Foggy somehow runs into Stick).
Eventually Matt figures out that the only we he can get out of this is by just telling Foggy everything.

Repressed Memories (Matt/Foggy maybe?)

Matt has repressed a lot of what happened during his time with Stick. He tries really hard to only remember the useful stuff, how to fight, how to control his senses. But after Stick's little visit, the rest is all coming back; the "pain tolerance" lessons (C'mon Matty, you can't handle this, how are you going to handle what's waiting for you out there?), the "after hours lessons" with the occasional guest lecturer.

With all these memories flooding bac, day-to-day life is getting a lot harder for Matt. What happens when he finally reaches his breaking point?

The Blindness; Daredevil Edition

Really anything based off of this movie description:

"When an epidemic of a disease known as the "white sickness" appears in her city, the wife (Julianne Moore) of a doctor is one of the few individuals left who still has sight. Sent to a government asylum along with her now-blind husband (Mark Ruffalo), she sees conditions deteriorate until civilization itself is in jeopardy, prompting her break-out of the asylum to lead a small group to freedom."

Does Matt infiltrate to try to take on the corruption within? Does the whole gang lie there and Matt is still a vigilante?

I've actually seen the movie and own the DVD. It's very rough and honest and, well, quietly violent (talk about graphic non-con...). And it has a very, very different tone to the Daredevil TV show. Which isn't to say that a crossover isn't a good idea. In fact, that'd be truly interesting.

I'm crap with remembering details about movies, but from what I can recall, it's mainly set inside the asylum and doesn't actually show much of the outside world. Whoever would be able to write this will have a lot of creative freedom to invent the "Blindness" outside world to fit with the "Daredevil" world. :-)

Twins AU

Matt has a twin sister. They are both (somehow) blind and both Daredevil. Everyone in Hell's Kitchen is so busy arguing about whether it's a man or a woman in the mask that they never stop to consider the possibility that there are two of them.

Matt/Foggy - yet another facetouching prompt (ft. awkward boners)

I have a headcanon that back in law school, Foggy had a bit of a habit of pulling Matt on his lap as a "joke", especially when drunk, because going by Nelson v. Murdock, they're both ridiculously affectionate and tactile dorks when they've had a few ...

And now, when I think of the infamous facetouching scene, I can't get the image of Matt straddling Foggy's lap, with Foggy's arms wrapped around his waist so he doesn't fall off, while he's running his fingers over Foggy's face.
Maybe they're in a crowded place and have been sharing a seat before or maybe they're just chilling in their dorm room, cuddling "ironically", as you do - either way, one of them is suddenly aware of the intimacy of the situation (or the whole thing just feels really, really nice) and accidental boners ensue.

Foggy meets Claire (gen)

So we know Foggy and Claire met between episodes 9 and 10, and that Claire probably didn't really talk to Foggy beyond the need-to-know information and medical stuff.

I loved the "Foggy and Claire bond in the waiting room while Matt is in surgery" prompt that was posted and filled previously, and I'd love to read more along those lines.

I'll leave it up to the author how and where Foggy and Claire meet again -- with or without Matt. Could be angsty and intense (somehow Matt calls both Claire and Foggy when he's injured...?), could also be light-hearted and humorous (Claire drops by the office for some reason, or a chance meeting somewhere...?). Or they somehow end up in Claire's ER while she's working...?

And I wonder... would Foggy and Claire get along? Would they click somehow (platonically)? Or would it just be awkward because Claire doesn't get Foggy's sense of humor? So many possibilities!

Bonus points if the "Night of Revelation" comes up, and/or if you wanna go the light-hearted route, they talk/gossip about Matt behind his back.

Matt leaves an abusive relationship-Aftermath

So, there's a prompt that asks for Matt's injuries being related to abuse and people thinking that they're from the fights he get's into when he's Daredevil. But, that prompt's too light on the comfort/aftermath for me, so can we see what happens to him after? Like does everyone get superoverprotective of him, do they screen his dafes, does he date? Just give me the comfort and aftermath anons.

Matt/Bucky, Angsty, Affectionate First-time Sex

Matt and Bucky - and possibly Steve, as well - are on the run after Bucky does not win his trial, and Bucky is doing his best to be fine, until one night, he just isn't.

They're in crappy motel somewhere, trying to lay low, and there's no one they can call or anything to help, and the only thing Matt can think of is to climb into Bucky's lap and ride him until he's too tired to fight his exhaustion, and Bucky falls asleep with tears on his face, and maybe Matt's a bit teary too.

I don't know what happens from there, but I hope there's at least a chance for them to find happiness with each other.

Mutant!Foggy is very powerful but can't control his ability

Because I LOVE all the mutant!Foggy prompts -

Foggy is a powerful mutant who has never been able to really control his gifts. He manifested even before puberty, and has been on suppressants all his life. He still gets a little overlap and experiences a limited amount of his ability, but it's dulled and nowhere near as bad as it could be.

After Matt reveals himself to be Daredevil, Foggy decides to deal with his newfound worry that Matt might not only fall down a manhole but might die bleeding and alone in an alley, by learning to use his powers. He figures that it's the only way he can keep Matt safe, and that's got to be worth a few hurdles at the beginning, right? He's not a kid anymore, he's got to face his fears sometime. So he stops taking his suppressants for the first time since his power originally manifested.

Turns out he's a whole lot more powerful than he was when he was nine. To say he finds it difficult is an understatement.

+ Foggy is some sort of psychic/empath/telekinetic (although I'm up for anything really)
+ Foggy maybe mentioned something about the whole mutant thing to Matt in college, but Matt has absolutely no warning about the extent of it before all of this kicks off.
+ Matt would be actually pretty well placed to help Foggy control his powers IF he wasn't terrified of ending up messing up Foggy like Stick did to him.

Everyone has started to notice Matt's injuries and how common they are. They're so caught up with worrying about the blind, beaten lawyer that they don't notice when Foggy starts to get thinner, when he's exhausted, when he suddenly won't let anyone but Matt touch him.

Of course Matt as Daredevil deals with the abuser. Maybe Foggy witnesses it, and the rage Matt has as he does it, and he gets a little bit nervous.

Daredevil and Foggy Solve the Agunah Crisis

Matt abducts and beats up men who won't give their wives divorces. Foggy is his agent, because you don't send the actual ninja to meet the client, duh.

If you don't know about Jewish law and what a "get" (bill of divorce) is, I don't recommend trying to fill this.

so in waid's run of daredevil, foggy gets diagnosed with cancer. matt, who feels incredibly guilty and awful about the whole thing, decides he's going to ask foggy what he wants from matt the most and then do whatever it is foggy asks of him.

foggy asks him to, as daredevil, take him swinging through the skylines of new york. it's really cute, and it's possibly the closest thing to a date that the two of them have.

so! i would love to see that done with the tv show characters. you can make it angsty or not (foggy doesn't have to have cancer, for example) but i'd love to see something where matt takes foggy on a Daredevil Date.

Matt is the school outcast, raised by his religious zealot grandmother who abuses him because she thinks he literally has the devil in him. The chemicals that blinded him didn't give him enhanced senses, but they did give him mysterious psychic abilities (or maybe just enhanced/unlocked some already existing psychic powers).

I figure Karen would have the role of Sue Snell, and after she witnesses some particularly cruel bullying of Matt, she talks her boyfriend Foggy into asking Matt to the prom.

And then you know how it goes. :(

Gen: Foggy thinks Matt is suicidal

Foggy catches Matt over looking his building's ledge one evening. Matt did not expect Foggy and was listening for crimes near by. He can't give Foggy a good reason why he was there. Foggy freaks out and believes he's suicidal and self harming once he checks him over because he touched and pulled his clothing up to see.

So now Matt is on Foggy's watch and has to go to therapy. Foggy is not messing around. He's threatened to have Matt committed. What happens next? How does Matt take down Fisk?
