It's why I consider most of the avengers anti-heroes. Hulk and iron man mostly, but they wouldn't make my top ten list. Punisher, Rorschach, and Constantine would take that spot.

You make a lot of good points though, and it's probably why I like him so much more than team cap lol

And if it's Matt who points out the hypocrisy, he might also be pretty annoyed with the Avengers for disguising what they do--Frank bluntly calls it killing, straight-up says he's a mass murderer, whereas the Avengers call it 'avenging' and shit.

The Incredible Hulk is not even TECHNICALLY canon, it's EXPLICITLY canon as it's been referenced many times onscreen.

Not to mention that Elektra's heart would melt a bit that Foggy actually worries over her so much. She'd be super protective of him.

(It would be hella funny if Fisk got out of jail and went after Foggy hoping to draw out Daredevil and instead got this murderous angry woman taking out all of his people. )

Matt/Villain, Matt dates a Supervillain without knowing it

Somehow, Matt meets and gets to know somebody while out as Matt Murdock. Maybe they meet in a café or on a walk? A normal setting having nothing to do with his night-job.
They start getting along really well and end up going on a few dates and later going steady.

Thing is: Matt is pretty set on Hells Kitchen and doesn't expand all that much, sooo... Daredevil has never really met many of the supervillains that generally stay out of Hells Kitchen or New York, so he wouldn't know what they sound/smell like. Since he's blind, there is no way he would know what they look like, either.
His date ends up being a very well known supervillain. Nobody tells Matt, though, who is extremely happy with his new relationship.

Bonus if it's somebody very recognisable, but they always meet Matt without their ridiculous costume, so there are excuses for not recognising them.

Double Bonus if it's a guy and triple bonus with sprinkles on top if it's somebody ridiculous, like Loki or Dr. Doom. I would also take somebody like Bullseye, because they haven't met as enemies yet, or even Sabretooth (he says he has a minor mutation, nothing to get worked up over?). Hell, why not Mephisto going a little bit more human than normal?

The villain in question uses a nickname (Loki goes by Luke, for example) or variation of their real name, so it's obvious in hindsight, but not without knowing it first.


A major point of the story is that a) Matt doesn't know and b) the villain genuinely enjoys being with him/fell in love and wants to keep going on dates with their cute lawyer boyfriend (preferably without any of those pesky "heroes" or "innocent bystanders" ruining their night out). I'd love the villain going out of his way to make the relationship work and not fry the waiter to a crisp when he spills wine on Matts shirt. Priorities!

Your decision if they know about Daredevil from the start, if Matt learned from past mistakes and confides in them or if they never find out.

Does Matt find out? How? Gossip magazines talking about the hot arm candy at Dr. von Dooms side? Loki taking him out to a picknick only for the Avengers to show up and stop them from doing something nefarious (like eating their PB&J Sandwiches)? Mephisto having to cut movie night short, sorry love, I have this deal to make, something about a redhead and spiderman, it won't take more than 10 minutes?


I'd love if they either stayed together and actually made it work (even with a total crack pairing, that's the best part!) or they part ways very amiacably (the villain leaves HK alone. Sabretooth still visits and they go on an epic barcrawl once in a while? Bullseye makes every fight into a playful sparring session and they swap advice, training methods, knitting schematics and recipes for their grandmothers best baked goods?).

If the villain and Matt do part ways, I'd love if they still have each other on speed dial. Loki is in an epic fight with all of the Avengers when his cellphone rings. Everybody stops in confusion, but it's just Matt, who goes "Hey Luke, I know you're busy destroying NY or something, but I'm really craving some pizza right now. Want to come over and watch the new James Bond movie?" - "Of course, darling, I got my hands on some nice asgardian mead, I'll be there in a minute." and it WORKS.


So, Matt ends up with a scary dangerous supervillain boyfriend/best friend, who turns into goo when they're together and kicks everybody in the face if they threaten them (or watches Matt do it, because come on, wouldn't you want to watch, too?).

If they end up as exes, Matt will wait quite a while, but then he later runs into this really interesting guy while out at a diner. Ex-soldier, strong and calm, really nice voice, goes by Frank...
(well, at least antiheroes are a step up from supervillains?)

Endgame is Matt/Villain-of-your-choice or later Matt/Frank, with the villain ex giving the Punisher a shovel talk that is closer to a garden-shed-talk.

Continuity? Timeline? Is that something to eat? :)

Yeah General Ross showing up in Civil War should finally put that argument to bed. Although RDJ shows up, and later Bruce references breaking Harlem, so I'm not sure why it was ever an argument to begin with.

Criminal Minds Crossover, the BAU team profiling the Punisher

I really just want a crossover with Criminal Minds, where the team (Reid, Rossi, Hotch, Morgan, Garcia, Emily and JJ) all profile the Punisher together. What conclusions do they come up with? Which end up being false?

Matt/Foggy, Reveal of kinks

Matt and Foggy are together and it’s going great. But Matt’s been keeping from Foggy some of the things he’s into - maybe he likes being restrained, maybe he likes pain-play, etc. He doesn’t think Foggy would go for that kind of stuff and the *last* thing he wants is to freak Foggy out.

But when they’re in bed, Foggy starts to notice certain things. Like Matt’s very interesting reactions to being pinned down or having his hair pulled or being told to stay still. So he starts to experiment to see what else Matt likes.

To Matt’s growing (thrilled) shock, it turns out that Foggy’s very on board for the kinky stuff - especially when it makes Matt sound like that.

Prefer sex pollen or heat sex, medical kink, and noncon/dubcon where they are not together or romantically interested in each in a non-alien scenario, but honestly I am up for absolutely anything so long as it's them forced by aliens to mate.

A family or birds nest on Matt's rooftop

When the mother bird leaves and doesn't return, Matt starts looking after the nest of baby birds.
It gives him something to do with Karen and Foggy no longer in his life.

So yeah, give me some fluff about a bunch of baby birds imprinting on Matt.
I was thinking Peregrine Falcons or some type of owl that once they're big enough, follow Matt around while he's out Daredeviling. They confuse the heck out of criminals.

I feel like Matt might be somewhat sympathetic to some of them. (After all, snapping someone's spine with the shield and leaving them to die isnt too different from beating someone's head in with a metal pipe or kicking them off a three story building)

The Punisher Hunts The Devil (Assumed Devil Matt)

In a world where it is commonly believed that Matt is indeed a supernatural creature, Frank Castle still loses his family. Matt has 'granted' some prayers/vengeance/wishes because he could hear them. Some how it come to light that the Irish/Dogs/Cartel invoked the Devil/prayed for his help taking down his family. Frank adds it to his list.

After shooting him in the head with no damage and his escape from his interrogation (still managing to kick a whole gang's ass) Frank has come to two conclusions. The Devil is indeed real and he's taken possession of a blind man named Matt Murdock.

So he decides to see a priest to help exorcise him...

Brett + The Defenders

The new Sergeant-Detective Brett Mahoney thought he had it easy with Daredevil.

Then a huge guy comes delivering a group of thugs that tried to break in in his bar which isn¡t damged and keeps finding him on whatever fucked up situation happening on the Harlem and one time the guy got shot in teh ches and walked like nothing was happening. HE JUST GOT SHOT, MAN!

Then a beautiful woman that could be totally his type if she were less intimidating comes offering him her PI help witha case he's working with and he swears he saw her lifting that truck.

And to fuck it all. Foggy introduces him to some blong guy that ends up dressing in a hideous green vomit suit. Like What's with Hell kitchen heores and their horrible suits? and does Foggy know about this guy?

This is not a fill, plz someone actually take this prompt and run with it.

In the middle of a battlefield, probably, after the Avengers have booted Matt and Frank out of the Quinjet to the quadrant they're supposed to take care of.

Frank: "Did they just...?"

Matt: Grins.

Frank: "So they're not willing to risk having me watch their backs, but it's fine if I lose my shit with you? I thought they liked you Red."

Matt: Twirls his club casually in his hand. "Haven't you heard? I'm not human."

Frank: "The hell? Of course your human."

Matt: Shrugs. "They thought I was some kind of robot at first. But I guess Jarvis did a full-body scan when I came to the tower. Now the running theory is 'supernatural being'."

Frank: "What kind of supernatural being?"

Matt: "The kind that has superhuman senses Frank. Keep up."

Frank: Scowls fiercely. "And do they think you have superhuman healing powers to go with those superhuman senses?"

Matt: "Probably? It hasn't come up."

Frank: Eyes approaching army. "I get the feeling it's about to come up."

Matt: "Oh come on. It's a little bit funny."

Frank: Loads large-ass-gun-of-choice and points toward said army. "This conversation isn't over."

Giving the Punisher the shovel talk? I don't think anyone could pull that off but Sabretooth (regenerates) and Magneto(controls metal).

Matt's Funeral - character death, identity reveal - gen

It's a brave new world and there a few new rules that come along with it. But one specific one is that graveyards, while hosting a funeral, are legally neutral territory. (I mean, everyone knows that supervillains/antiheroes have a strange sort of respect for the masked vigilantes/uniformed superheroes/people-they-antagonize-on-a-regular-basis. If a hero goes down, a lot of interesting characters turn up to pay their respects.)

So give me Matt's funeral. Give me a Matt whose secret identity somehow managed to stay under wraps even after he died. Show me a small group of people gathered together to grieve as they lower Matt's body into the ground, who slowly become confused as a truly baffling host of people show up to witness the same thing.

(Maybe Stick shows up? Elektra?)

+ If Frank is basically the first person on site and Matt's acquaintances are upset (and deeply confused about why the Punisher is even there) but can't do anything about it. Because the law.
++ Brett comes along (maybe voluntarily, maybe Foggy dragged him there, idk)

+++++ AU where Foggy never found out about Matt moonlighting as Daredevil and so finds out at the funeral
++++++++++ The cat's out of the bag now. What happens in the aftermath? Does one of Matt's more casual acquaintances turn the news that Matt Murdock was Daredevil over to the media? Does an enterprising reporter match up Matt's obituary and the Daredevil's disappearance and come up with the right conclusion? Or does Matt, and his legacy, fade quietly out of history?

Give me drama anon. Make me cry.

Matt's an actual devil who hates scumbags but has a soft spot for anyone kind/innocent/brave.
He comes to NY because it's a world capital of sin and other demons are there and there's some sort of evil forces's annual ball or something.
Frank is a widower looking to sell his soul for his family back.
Make it as cracky, fluffy, smutty, angsty or whatever-y as you like, but I'm thinking mostly hurt-comfort.
Bonus for as many other Marvel characters in cameos as you can squeeze in.
Maybe Wolverine is an actual talking wolverine?

Matt REALLY likes putting objects up his ass that weren't specifically designed for it. Empty beer bottles, handles of spoons, extra pens, you name it.

Frank insists on supervising because Matt's not cautious enough. Matt has to beg him to come over if Frank's not already there before he's allowed to put non-anal-sex-toy things up his ass. (Excepting his fingers).
