"Well, Daredevil," said The Punisher threateningly, advancing on them slowly. Foggy was not to proud to admit he hid behind his devilish best friend, a bit. "You may think your doing good here, but band-aids don't fix bullet holes."

Matt pulled himself straighter to do that 'pretend to stare to bad guy in the eye' thing that he did so well. But Foggy couldn't hold back the giggles. Matt kicked him in the shin without turning away from the scary skull t-shirt wearing man in front of him.

That made Foggy giggle more. Partly from genuine amusement, but mostly from genuine fear. "But," he spluttered. "Those are Taylor Swift lyrics..."

Thats it. Thats the prompt. Do with it as you will (if you will to write Matt/Foggy/Frank then so be it, but that is by no means compulsory) I just want this bloody song to get out of my head!!!

Personal headcannon is that Foggy regularly cycles his ringtone for Matt through every devil song he can think of. It's currently 'Better the devil you know' but his personal favourite was 'You're the devil in disguise'.

Did we have that trope yet? We totally should, this is MCU! Maybe Matt and Foggy get entangled with some weird SHIELD business due to Matt's old friendship with Skye. Maybe Lorelai/Amora/Loki is bored. Maybe it's just your typical Peter Quill shenanigans and the typical Guardians lack of luck.

ALIENS MAKE THEM DO IT, WE HAVE SO MANY ALIENS IN THE MCU THAT IT'S A SHAME NOT TO USE THIS TROPE.

so I am currently binging on Leverage (why didn't anyone tell me this show was a thing it's beautiful), and I have one desire and one desire only: Nelson & Murdock colliding with the Leverage crew. maybe they're working the same case from different angles, or maybe they're on different sides--Matt's been known to take on clients he knows are guilty as sin in order to get information out of them (ie Healy), and he's also been known to take on scumbags who are innocent of the crime they're being accused of as well.

does Matt figure out the Leverage crew? does he play along with Sophie? has he heard about Eliot Spencer or does he end up brawling with the guy as Daredevil? does Karen know any of the Leverage crew from her mysterious past? how hard do Foggy and Hardison geek out at each other about CAPTAIN FUCKING AMERICA, if they're given the opportunity?

tl;dr: Nelson & Murdock, meet Leverage Consulting & Associates.

BONUS:
+ look I'm totally okay with any ship at all, I would be deeply satisfied if there's none, but ot3 ot3 ot3. for either show!
+ Matt and Eliot, somehow, bonding over food. I don't know, Eliot's a great chef and I headcanon Matt to be very good at cooking too, with his sense of smell and taste.

I'd love to see a story where Foggy goes through completely different universes* just to see that they get together in everyone and then in the end he goes back to the show's universe to get together with his Matt.

*something like "both are teachers" or maybe one where Matt isn't blind, something set 30 years in the future...considering the MCU, magic seems like something that could be the cause here

Maybe Karen is invited over to one of their movie nights and finds Matt curled up on the couch with his head in Foggy's lap. Maybe Brett runs into them at Josie's and Foggy is leaning against Matt's chest while Matt just casually plays with Foggy's hair. Basically I want some not straightforward self harm on Matt's part.

I am just reading the second book in a row that has some...interesting ways to describe sex, sexual organs and related matters. Somehow instead of reaching for brain bleach I went 'Yes. I need fanfiction related to that.' No I don't know why.
The exact details don't matter:
- in line with the fun with in-universe RPF we had everybody entertains Matt by reading the worst lines of Matt/Daredevil fic to him/Karen entertains Matt & Foggy by reading them fics about them

OKay so I had the worst thought in the entire world.... what if Roslind didn't abandon Foggy? What if she raised him and he lived his life as Franklin Sharpe?

How does this change him? We all know what Rosalind's like (manipulative, overbearingly controlling, spiteful, fond of insulting and emotionally scaring her son) imagine growing up with that abusive, toxic influence 24/7. Not only that but taking into account Foggy's need to please her he's 100% more likely to take on her ruthless and morally obtuse ethics (at least at a surface level).

So when Matt meets his new room-mate at Columbia Law he's introduced to a flippant, no-nonsense, rude little shit of a man who somehow seems to have stricter work habits than even he does. Who only makes friends with people he thinks will be useful to know or his mother recommended. And spouts off political and moral opinions completely at odds with everything that Matt holds dear.
Matt HATES his guts of course.
OF COURSE they slowly start to bond and become friends and grow into the avacados we know and love (and he notices all the unhealthy habits [like refusing to eat until he's 'earnt it'] or hears really unnerving stories/off-hand comments about Rosalind and is like 'this ain't right')

(I have no idea how the custody would work with Mr. Nelson tho. Weekend custody? How does he feel about all this if he knows about it??)

OK so I get that i'm probably the only person on the kink meme that actually liked Stick, but when I was watching the show I honestly quite liked him as a character. (not that evil stick isn't fun to write)

I got the impression that maybe he was a bit rougher training Matt than would be considered appropriate in today's world, and he wasn't particularly soft and fuzzy emotionally. But all of that has changed a lot even in the last fifty years, and thats just in the western world and stick is an old guy and we have no idea where he grew up (cultural relativism people). Besides, Matt has clearly had more than enough of people treating him like glass, I know I always preferred the teachers that told me off and said I wasn't trying hard enough, to the ones that were all sweet and sympathetic and went on about how "at least you tried your best", at least the former genuinely believed I could do well, rather than just trying to soften the blow of failure. And ok Stick running away was clearly a majorly dick move, but there could have been a good reason (like idk sticks enemies caught up with him and Matt being close was putting him in danger)

Ok now don't get me wrong the evilStick fics are loads of fun and I love them, but we get a lot of those and not a lot of the other, so I kinda want to see a fic where he genuinely had a good reason for leaving, and a good reason for training Matt, and did actually genuinely care about Matt (he did keep the bracelet after all, and I personally think keeping it all those years just to fuck with Matt's head is a bit of a stretch.), and while he may have been tough in training, and not very demonstrative of affection, he did still show Matt he cared in little ways. Maybe something from his POV.
