I'm rewatching the episode 'Stick' for a fill and I noticed that the Nun, when introducing Matt to Stick, said that 'doctors, clergymen' had tried to help Matt with his 'problems'.

...And I now want a fill where some poor nun or priest performed an exorcism on Matt, thinking to drive the evil out of him. And Matt's reaction when it fails just adding to his belief he's got the devil in him.

how would things change?

BONUS:
+ Matt, while not Daredevil, is still blind, and is still lawyer-buddies with Foggy.
+ Vanessa as the Kingpin, and Fisk as the sweet if somewhat awkward restaurant owner or something who comes regularly to her art gallery.
+ more role reversals? maybe something terrible happens to Matt instead of Karen.

Foggy huffs and says, "Karen, be the deal breaker here. Who'd you think would win in a fight? An astrounaut or a caveman?"

They're both New York-based shows about vigilantes, so why not? Maybe someone at Nelson & Murdock's number comes up. Maybe a member of Team Machine needs legal representation. Maybe Elias and/or the Brotherhood go to war with Fisk's group.

Bonus

-Shaw and Claire know each other/worked at the same hospital before Shaw enlisted.

-Incorporating Root's deafness (using the fandom theory that she can only hear the Machine through her implant) The team is quick to adapt, standing on the correct side when speaking to her etc.

-Carter and Fusco are so done with this shit. Another vigilante? Again?

-Bear, because who doesn't love Bear?

-The Machine talks to Matt. "Can. You. Hear. Me?"

Homeless Youth Matt

I want homeless little Matt. I'm thinking something like Stick actually adopted Matt to train him, so the nuns wouldn't question the injuries, then abandons him to the streets. Or the orphanage gets shut down, pretty much Little Matt just slips through the cracks, a ninja-trained, blind little homeless kid in Hell's Kitchen with super senses.

Maybe he still ends up a lawyer? Super-listens in on schools, gets himself an education like his dad wanted, outside the system. Years later the old dude he saved tracks him down or something, turns out he's rich or influential or whatever. Wants to thank Matt. Helps Matt get into Law school.

But homelessness affects people, physically and mentally. Trust issues, health issues, malnutrition, etc. On top of preexisting trauma of being blinded, Jack's murder and Sticks training/abuse? Yikes.

Feel free to hand-wave as needed. Break my heart. Please & thank you.

In one of the issued from Waid's DD, Bullseyes comeback and uses diferent people to try and copy the acciden t that made Matt teh way eh is, most of them die but He succeds with Foggy and makes Foggy blind and with the senses thing, Matt finds him too late and Foggy is overwhelmed by everything.

For some elementary school project, they were assigned to write each other letters, and they were enthusiastic correspondents. Dinosaurs! Boxing! Whatever else!

Either when Matt is blinded or when Matt is sent to St. Agnes and moves schools, they fall out of touch, and neither one of them knows how to find the other until they meet up again in law school.

Bonus if they don't figure it out right away because there are a lot of Matts in the city and Foggy was still going by Franklin then and eventually one of them runs across the other's stash of letters or something? And then a joyful reunion.

Or Matt runs into a time travelling device and is ABLE TO FIX EVERY BAD THING THAT HAPPENED TO HIM. So a very smart child Matt convinces his father to quit boxing. Then wins every single scolarship possible because actually has the intelligence of a lawyer. And advices his father on some very smart choices. And goes to college and meets Foggy again AND NO ONE DIES AND EVERYTHING IS MADE OF RAINBOWS OKAY?!

(I'm going with the general assumption that the Michael in Matt's full name was given at birth and wasn't chosen when he got confirmed, *although* that being said, Matt WOULD pick the name of the archangel who leads God's forces and defeats Satan during the war in heaven because ~symbolism~)

I live for Matt being a socially awkward, pining puppy, so ...

Matt is in love with Foggy. Has been for a long, long time. He knows that Foggy is attracted to him, but he isn't sure whether Foggy is actually interested in anything beyond friendship or not.
Also, maybe Matt's still processing that Foggy actually wants to be his friend (because wow, does one Matthew Michael Murdock have some serious self-esteem issues) and usually tries to convince himself that it's better that way, he'd only ruin things between them etc. etc.

But sometimes, in moments of weakness, Matt slips up and makes a move on Foggy.
Thing is, Foggy never realizes that Matt is actually flirting with him, so the chance passes and Matt kinda feels like roundhouse kicking himself in the face because those sweet ninja moves have to be good for something, right?

Tell me about the time when Matt was stressed out from finals and told Foggy that he's feeling kinda tense, maybe Foggy could work those magic hands he's heard his dates talk about on him and help him unwind? (Foggy ends up giving Matt a back or foot massage that puts him to sleep almost instantly.)

Tell me about the time "Sounds like we're getting married" was totally meant to inspire some sort of "We are kinda married already, isn't that funny? Perhaps we should date" epiphany. (It doesn't happen.)

Tell me about the time Matt said "You're not gonna kiss me" as a dare when he sensed that Foggy was thinking about it. (Foggy didn't take the hint.)

Tell me about the time Foggy was hanging out at Matt's place one evening and when he was about to go, Matt grabbed him by the wrist and softly whispered "Stay with me tonight?" (Foggy thinks Matt is having nightmares or something and they end up playing some braille board game all night.)

Tell me about the time Matt literally backflips onto Foggy's balcony in full Daredevil gear because he's TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT, he's full of ADRENALINE, he's gonna seduce the FUCK out of his best friend, hell yeah! (Foggy almost has a heart attack and just sprints to the bathroom to get his first aid kit because Matt is surely injured if he shows up at Foggy's place in the middle of the night.)

Or just make up your own scenarios. Anything goes - surprise me!

Foggy's in a coma in hospital, seriously injured and Matt's miserable - he's more aggressive as Daredevil and as Matt, he drinks and mopes whenever he's not at Foggy's bedside.

And then Foggy wakes up, and he's discovered to have brain damage. So now Matt has to step up and assist him through the aftermath.

When Foggy goes to sleep, he wakes up in a different universe than his. In his own universe, he's friends with Matt, knows his secret, and are Avocados bros and everything is awesome. But in the other universe, Matt and Foggy has never met and the Devil of hell's kitchen runs rampant.

Cue Foggy trying to save THAT other matt while trying to keep this a secret from HIS Matt.

They all go to dinner. Matt's secret boyfriend walks in. It's Steve Rogers. Matt is fucking Captain America.

Bonus points for Foggy trying to give a shovel talk while geeking out.

Matt gets assaulted while out roaming the streets, either as Matt or Daredevil. He goes to the first safe place that's nearby, which is Foggy's apartment.

Can we please have Foggy convince Matt that he needs to go to the hospital in order to have evidence collected to get his attacker off of the street? Whether he wants it or not, Matt agrees that not doing so wouldn't help protect the people in Hell's Kitchen and agrees to go.....so long as Foggy stays with him the entire time. Insert hospital gowns, stirrups, medical suppositories and plenty of tears.

My hand in marriage if there's hurt comfort before, during and after. Maybe even some loving from Karen.

I want something where Matt goes to investigate something and somehow gets turned into a baby. With all his adult memories intact. Que Foggy and Karen trying to suddenly care for a baby, I'll leave it up to the writer whether or not they know that Matt knows what's going on.

I want upset Matt thinking because he's still an "adult" he should be able to control his body like Stick trained him to, only to discover that no, he really can't and having your best friend change your diaper is mortifying!

The bonus, as the title implies, is that somehow Karen manages to produce breast milk to feed him. Whether she went to Claire and got some hormone injections, or she just took some nipple suctions and started to frequently stimulate her nipples in order to produce milk, idk. I just want it!
