Saw a dog!Foggy prompt, thought Matt could join in, seeing as he a sad puppy and all.

Basicly Foggy adopts a blindstray dog he names Daredevil because this mutt is utterly fearless, jumping into dangerous situations without hesitation - for complete strangers too. Its like Foggy and Daredevil can't go a single walk without interupting a mugger or stoing street harrasment or rescueing little Timmy who fell down a well agian (okay slight exageration, there are no wells in Hells kitchen.) One day, because *magic* Daredevil gets turned into a human and now Foggy is stuck with a suicidely reckless man who is still figuring how to walk on two legs.

Like, really, really horrible - up to you exactly what, although I would prefer no permanent maiming - that screws him up emotionally/mentally, and the Avengers bring in Owen Grady to rehabilitated Matt, figuring Matt is basically a packless raptor.

Ok so I read the one about Jack Murdock still being alive and being a really overprotective dad. And then I read all those ones abut Matt being a super masochistic sub. And then I had a thought. What if overprotective Dad Jack, walked in on a scene. Cue utter mortification on all sides, followed by the most awkward conversation ever.

AU where Matt is actually the Devil. And he's still blind, though maybe the "world on fire" thing is more like, he can sense sin and doesn't see like normal humans do?

Based on this tumblr post:

Fic idea where a lonely person sells their soul to Satan to be their friend. And Satan just rolls with it until he realizes at the time of their death he genuinely likes them.

Basically, I saw this review of a fic and I'm gonna copy-paste it -

How about Foggy has some sort of accident, related to DD-shenanigans or not, and it's nothing that won't heal (I'm more of a fan of happy fics - I mean, yes, not being able to see for a few days would suck, and be annoying, and *probably* would be even somewhat scary sometimes, but it would be clear that it'll all heal perfectly well and Foggy won't have a reason to become suicidal or depressed), but he still ends up having to wear bandages over his eyes for a few days? And Matt is there to help him out and show him how to navigate during that time (Foggy quipping about "the blind leading the blind now, great" optional...)


How good of a 'patient' Foggy is, is up to you, (and also whether Matt *still* runs around at night when Foggy is sleeping - I hope he would stop though if he is so tired the next day he accidentally lets Foggy walk into a wall...) Maybe Foggy being able to read Braille Uno cards is suddenly an essential skill. Or they *both* "watch" TV and try to guess what's going on (Karen also being there and being driven up the wall by their commentary optional). Can be slash (they'd obviously get a lot closer during those days and maybe Foggy would come to understand a *lot* about Matt's world) or friendship, I'm fine with both :)

+1 for Matt also occasionally having fun at Foggy's expense and Foggy being fine with it

+100 for Matt and Foggy being out and about, both with canes, and Foggy getting to see (pardon the pun...) what assholes people can be up front

I kinda adore this. I'm all for the blind!Foggy stuff, but knowing it's temporary makes things much less angsty and could potentially be awesome. I hope someone fills this.

College era (but you can keep going to show era if the mood strikes you), inspired by a line in a fic where Matt overhears someone saying they don't like Foggy and is both exceedingly baffled and super offended because how could anyone not love Foggy?

So I really want to see a fic where someone talks shit about Foggy behind his back and finds themselves on the wrong side of Matt Murdock (no beating up or anything just Matt being suddenly very cold and maybe making things needlessly difficult in their life). It gets to the point where, while most of the class does like Foggy, there's an understanding that if you're going to talk badly about Foggy you'd better be prepared to be on Murdock's bad side. (no one know how how knows but he WILL).

Prefer it to be lighter rather than super angsty. Just give me adorable, over-protective Matt Murdock.

The Nelsons are an influential family

The Nelsons are a large family, and with very few exceptions they apply themselves to their craft, whatever it might be. Give me people in apparently powerless jobs using their reputations and connections to make life difficult for someone who's ticked them off. (For the purposes of this prompt, Matt is considered part of the family. Whether it's Matt/Foggy or not is up to you.)

Foggy's ex who outed him before he was ready can't find a florist who'll serve his wedding, because cousin Ros has strong feelings about him as a person and her christening arrangements have made her a person of influence in the floristry community. The woman who chewed Matt out loudly for 'whacking' her with his cane findx it impossible to get her hair done quite the way she wants it. In the time before his arrest, Fisk just cannot find a coffee shop that doesn't seem to bleach the beans - just his beans, mind you.

Mafia lite slightly petty but very scary Nekson clan, please.

There's tactical gear to be sourced, repaired, tested; there's new research into special nano-fabrics for Hulks awesomely stretchy yoga pants; and, most importantly of all, a need that lies very close to their chest...

One night, the only trusted superhero esthetician goes missing. And now, with their chest hair slowly growing back and time running out before they begin to look like actual human males, Daredevil, Captain America, and Tony Stark must team up to find out who abducted this incredibly important individual, and get her back before it's too late!!!

Matt and Melvin, friends

I've decided Matt needs more people in his life who care about him and can/will protect him physically when he needs it. But I also really like people with disabilities rolling together, having each other's back. The one person in DD I haven't seen requested here is Melvin Potter (aka The Gladiator). Matt went from hitting the guy, to getting his ass kicked, and finally choking Melvin into submission, only to suss that Melvin is, in Owlsley's words, 'half an idiot.'

What surprised me on the show was the speed that Matt goes to one knee next to Melvin when he understands who he's dealing with, he speaks to Melvin gently, kindly, honestly, trusting that Melvin wasn't going to reach out and continue throwing Matt around like a rag doll. And Melvin doesn't, Melvin is a SWEETHEART. Melvin creates a devilsuit for Matt to help protect him, and once Fisk is in jail I believe Matt will show his true face to Melvin (if he hasn't already - gotta get that hornhead mask fitted somehow) and they'll become friends.

So, please hopeful author anon, show me the 5 times Matt defends Melvin from the assholes of NYC who catcall him the R word or make fun of him in sad ways or try to trick him into doing awful things just because Melvin has an innocent heart and doesn't understand people. And then show me the one time Melvin and Matt are out in public and someone(s) is suddenly hurting/taking/tearing Matt Murdock apart (kidnapping/shooting/rape/whatev) and Melvin is scared and confused at first, but he's not having anybody hurt Matt, because Matt's nice to him, Matt's his friend.

+1000 if Foggy doesn't like Melvin at first because, yknow, he tried to kill DD that one time, but then changes his mind when Melvin saves Matt's life

Matt Murdock vs. rural life

Somehow, Matt ends up spending a week in a cabin in the New England woods, and poor city boy Matt is completely at sea.

Nature is noisy and smelly and the lack of constant car sounds is kind of unnerving. The echoes in wide-open spaces are completely different and take getting used to. Moose in the woods sound like Jurassic Park. A skunk sprays right outside the cabin and he faints from the smell.

+10 for Matt being kind of a Disney princess who attracts wildlife because he's quiet and good at being still and being unsure how he feels about it

Prison AU - Foggy is Matt's Lawyer

Fisk's plan to frame The Man in the Mask works and Matt gets arrested on the night of the explosions. Foggy - who doesn't know Matt in this AU - is assigned as his lawyer. (For this scenario to work I kind of imagine Matt to be too poor to afford a lawyer, thus Foggy being assigned to him, so perhaps Matt's a law-school dropout in this story).

Foggy really hates him at first, because he honestly believes that he shot those cops and tried to blow up the city. But he's a professional, damn it! And this is the kind of case he needs to get used to, being a defence attorney.

Eventually he gets to know Matt and becomes his friend, kind of, and does his best to keep Matt from losing hope while they await trial. It's really difficult though, because Matt's always got a new cut or bruise on his face every time they have a meeting.

+ Bonus points if Matt still manages to bring down Fisk with Foggy's help, by relaying the right information to the right people who ask the right questions.

Like so many others inspiration struck when I misread an earlier prompt. What are they teaming up for? No idea. Maybe the avengers need a lawyer from outside Stark Industries, maybe Foggy needs help saving Matt from some baddies, or maybe someone needs help eating all this pizza. Whatever tickles your fancy.

Foggy/Everyone is an acceptable pairing in my book.

Foggy gets into trouble one night and of course Daredevil shows up to save him. But Matt gets a little overzealous and Foggy has to pull him back, maybe he yells at Matt to stop being so brutal or not to actually kill them and come on we are going home and of course Matt listens without question so they head back to Foggy's place for stitches and talking it all through and don't think too much of the beat up criminals on the ground.

But soon word gets around: Foggy Nelson controls Daredevil.

Cue the criminals of Hell's Kitchen being terrified of Foggy, trying to make protection deals and offering to do all kinds of favours for him (that guy giving you trouble? say the word and he's gone, you need something illegal, anything you want) if only he'll put in a good word or keep them safe from the Devil.

Brett and Foggy get drunk one night and jokingly start roleplaying as a dirty cop and a dirty lawyer, where Foggy "bribes" Brett with sex. Then it becomes an ongoing thing where they get SUPER into it and start roleplaying as people whose relationship is built on blackmail, coercion, and sex as a bribe.

+ For increasingly complex scenarios. "Corrupt" Foggy gives as good as he gets.

Matt is just a delicious can of worms, isn't he? The one I'm working through currently is how he manages to balance the possibilities of his body. Because he can put you in the hospital, but what about about when he's with someone he cares about? Like, he can still put someone in the hospital and now you want to add sex into that? And with his whole complete neglect of his bodily needs (like sleep or proper time for healing?), he would think nothing of putting his partners first always, always, always.

So, in my head, Matt will only have sex with a trusted partner if that partner has an out. Which means he tops from the bottom almost constantly. BUT.... what does that look like for different people?

I don't care if this is some kind of polyamory thing where once a month he takes turns crashing at Claire, Foggy, and Karen's places, or whatever. Just give me a Matt who is desperate to GIVE and the reactions of his partners who maybe would like him to take for once. Or something.

For sheer fascination of Matt's issues, this. Seconded hard. I wonder how his ability to know what a body's doing would play into this. Would he be reassured because he knows what arousal does to a heartbeat, or is too similar to the things that fear, or even pain, does and he would require verbal reassurances from a partner?

My request is simple - Matt and Foggy are making out, and Foggy picks Matt up, and Matt's kind of shocked but turned on at the same time, and the "You're strong" line comes out.

Or 5 times Matt told Foggy he was strong, and 1 time Foggy tells Matt.

Foggy is kidnapped and so Daredevil goes to rescue him. For some reason, during the rescue, he mistakes Foggy for another bad guy and attacks him. Cue Foggy's fear and Matt's guilt.

This is almost a fill for a very similar prompt. Foggy in the wrong place wrong time and Matt hurts him before realizing. Cue angst and comfort afterwards.

Young Wizards crossover - Foggy is a wizard

Maybe that's part of the reason why he was so upset in Nelson v. Murdock. Not only was his best friend lying to him, which is reason enough, but he's also worried, what if Matt is an agent of the Lone One? What if they're enemies? Could he (emotionally) handle going up against Matt?

Matt isn't, of course (but I had a thought - what if he's the new Host for the Champion (and isn't quite aware of this (yet?))? We know the Champion left Ronan in Wizards at War, which according to the NME time fix happened April/May 2010. Maybe this contributes to Matt putting on the mask in the first place? Maybe Matt's need to defend people draws the Champion to him? (Does anyone know if the Champion's host has to be a wizard, because I kind of want Matt to be not a wizard?))

Fisk, on the other hand, could well be an agent of the Lone One. Or, what if it's Wesley? In fact what if Wesley is not so much an agent of the Lone One as an incarnation of It, quietly manipulating things? What if he was trying to overshadow Karen when he kidnapped her? (Maybe she is a new wizard, offered wizardry late, and this is part of her Ordeal?)

The possibilities, guys.
