When Matt refuses painkillers, its not because he's trying to be tough or masochistic, its because Bad Things happen when he takes painkillers.

Asprin? Makes him puke.
Ibuprofen? Ulcers and puking.
Synthetic opioids? Fucking seizures.
Morphine? He stops goddamned breathing.

Now, give me a well meaning paramedic trying to treat the barely concious Devil of Hell's Kitchen and nearly killing him in the process.

As someone who recently discovered an allergy to most pain medicine, especially the ones with aspirin (which is in a lot of freakin pain meds apparently) I'd love to see this prompt filled!

After he leaves Matt, Stick takes on other students, teaching them like he did Matt. Matt finds out when one of them, maybe a particularly young one ("You're a kid, what do you think you're doing?" Matt protests), takes up vigilantism in Hell's Kitchen. Cue the brother hen.

"You're bleeding out on my fire escape, get in here so I can fix you."

"So you've got school, then homework and then vigilantism. When are you sleeping exactly?"

Bonus if he complains to Foggy or Claire and receives no sympathy. ("NOW YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS, MURDOCK.")

So, due to reasons, Matt winds up with the memories of his alternate selves. How does he react to the people in those memories? How do they effect his life?

I was thinking of Matt remembering the events of Superior Iron Man and then meeting MCU Tony, but I thought, why not go broader. So give me anything based around this concept.

The Punisher tries to kill Daredevil, Foggy won't let him

I've finally got round to reading 'Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe' and HELL was that shit good. (spoilers from here on out guys)

One of the final panels is a near distraught Frank Castle standing over a beaten Daredevil, having stabbed him in the chest, and realising that Daredevil is Matt Murdock. His lawyer and pretty much the only friend he has at this point. And he killed him.

So my brain thought, why not make it worse (and potentially not as stabby) and add Foggy. Standing over Matt, refusing to stand aside and let Frank kill Matt. Frank Castle is build like a goddamn TANK, covered in blood and scars and holding a huge fuck-off knife, and of course Foggy is scared shitless. But he still won't move. And at this point Frank has murdered 500+ people but even so, Foggy isn't a superhero He's not part of this whole vendetta, he's just a man trying to protect his family. Like Frank would have, were they still alive.

What happens next?

Matt gets custody, Foggy helps

Matt gets contacted by the state because he is the only surviving relative of a kid in the system. Perhaps Matt's mom dumped another kid and then the father died. This could be a 12-16 year old sibling. OR, this is the recently orphaned child of a surprise sibling and is much younger.

How does this change Matt's life? When does he tell the kid about Daredevil? Do some of the kid's issues mirror Matt's?

BONUS - Matt/Foggy established or get together

In the show, we know NOTHING about Matt's mom. Run with that :)

Matt’s mom cheated on Jack with Wilson, and Jack had no reason to suspect that Matt wasn’t his (or he did know and was just too good a person to abandon him, but Matt will never know the answer to that).

Fastforward to present time when somehow, Matt and Fisk both find out the truth.

Matt gets temporarily turned into a dog. He bites EVERYONE except Foggy. Maybe all his scars can be seen on his coat. He's a blind, freaked out dog who growls and bites anyone who gets close (Avengers?) until Foggy gets called in. Afterall, Foggy is the only one Matt really trusts.

Matt as a dog just strikes me as fear aggressive and insanely protective.

The Location of One Matthew Murdock

I want a story where Matt has gone missing for a couple of days, and Foggy is freaking out. He's tried calling him and going to all his usual haunts, checked his apartment, listened to the news to see if he'd turned up, and even asked Brett if anything strange had happened. Nothing. Then Foggy finally gets a phone call from Matt saying he's home and Foggy immediately hops a cab to head over.

By the time he gets to Matt's apartment, he's seething with rage and when Matt opens the door, he doesn't say a single word. He just grabs Matt by the wrist, drags him to the sofa and yanks him across his lap and starts to tan Matt's hide. All the while telling him how worried he was about him.

I would like it if hey aren't in a relationship, though if it heads that way after, I would be totally okay with this. I want Matt to be sobbing and apologizing and promising to do anything if he would just stop spanking him. His super sensitive skin really can't handle this, but he cares too much about Foggy to try and get away.

By the end of it, I want Foggy to demand that he's going to have Claire put a tracking device in Matt so that this won't happen again. In the ass, "because you're such a pain in my ass!"

My unborn children if you actually have the scene where Claire has to use a large needle to insert the tracking device (and Claire totally notices his red ass from Foggy spanking it), and Matt proceeds to spend the next couple of days complaining that his ass hurts. "Good!" says Foggy. Hell, I'd love it if there's a scene later where he's going to sit down at work and he winces, and Karen asks what's wrong.

I I omg I can't even begin to tell you how much I want this to be filled? I love Matt Murdock and just watching as the series progressed and he just kept getting himself into worse and worse life threatening situations (at the same time I just kept loving him more and more) and by the time we got to Nelson vs Murdock even *I* wanted to spank Matt for being so careless with his own life. I hope this gets filled, nonny, and I hope it becomes a thing where Foggy is tracking Matt's signal on his phone every night...

okay so this was originally a prompt on avengerkink, but i totally see it working with Matt and Foggy.
Basically, Matt and Foggy both get kidnapped, and the villain knows Matt and Foggy are in a relationship, and hurts Foggy and Matt by raping Matt, but making him enjoy the sex. (in the avenger fic, the villain (Bucky) puts the victim (Tony) into subspace so he thinks he is enjoying it but you can do whatever you want) Villain makes Matt come a lot of times and then just lets them go. Foggy is so upset because he's never made Matt come like that and feels insecure about sex between him and Matt. Foggy starts avoiding Matt b/c he thinks Matt is going to break up with him, and Matt thinks its because Foggy thinks hes disgusting.
I want lots of angst about Matt thinking hes gross and Foggy thinking hes inadequate, and then they eventually get their shit together.
You can make the villain whoever you want, but i have a particular fondness for Vladimir hahaha :^D

So, Kingpin finds out Matt's secret identity somehow and starts pulling strings to make Matt's life HELL. Just toying with him, because he has the power to do it.

Freezes his assets, wrecks his apartment, institutes serious financial difficulties, falsifies charges, gets him disbarred, whatever you can think of. Matt goes into hiding and tries to deal with everything on his own, because... Matt.

Please give me Matt at the end of his rope, with NOTHING left, trying to soldier on when he's broke and hungry and kind of a mess. And then a frantic Foggy tracks him down and shows him THAT'S NOT HOW FRIENDS WORK, LET ME HELP YOU.

Stick's training was great and all, but as a teenager/young adult he had access to a lot of other things. He discovered sex and later drugs.

...I would like a Matt that's in a really dark place by the time Foggy comes into his life. Able to function and do his school work but with not very good coping mechanisms when he "needs" it.

And Foggy discover it and then kind of quietly helping him find less destructive ways.

(Or what he thinks are, less destructive means not knowing that while Matt's been training, he decides to seriously THROW HIMSELF INTO IT at this point since Foggy doesn't like the other means and Foggy is his friend)

so I've seen a lot of fics where Matt has an eating disorder, but give me the one where Foggy is a binge eater or an emotional eater and Matt figures it out and tries to help. Maybe it's the constant food-related noises in their room, maybe he can sense that Foggy isn't hungry when he binges, maybe he can sense the change in Foggy's breathing and movements post-binge and realizes how often it's happening. Can be shippy or gen, but if it's shippy I'd prefer no really graphic sex scenes? Thanks!

Someone thinks Matt's being abused...by Daredevil

So someone notices that Nelson and Murdocks cases and Daredevil's crimefighting tend to cross over a lot. They also notice Matts injuriesd and the shitty excuses he gives for them. The defensive way he talks about Daredevil (as if its personal.) That Foggy, of all people seems to hate the man in horns (and Foggy likes everyone) and looks concerned at every injury Matt shows (but still lies for him. For lawyers, Nelson and Murdock are terrible liars.)The way Matt reacts to things - fear and guilt too many sorrys. The mysterious contact on his burner phone - the fact that he has a burner phone - a previous history of getting involved with persons of dubious morality - it all up to one this.

Matt is dating Daredevil.

And Daredevil is hurting Matt.

The Ghost Rider shows up to save DD

This is sort of piggybacking off a prompt upthread so a little background first: There's a Punisher comic where Hell's Kitchen has a serial killer taking out large groups of organized religious members and Frank investigates when a bunch of nuns are killed at St Agnes. Ghost Rider crashes the party because it's kind of his only job to know when the 'blood of innocents' is spilled and be the spirit of vengeance if his lambs are actually hurt/killed. He's supposed to protect them but even he can't be everywhere at once. Frank hates working with mystical anything but the Rider gives him no choice but to help find the guilty and punish them.

Fast forward the story to the point where Daredevil is on the job (of course), has actually already caught the ringleader of the killers, but won't let Frank kill the guy (per usual) (Matt says, 'Over my dead body, Frank'). Frank pulls a gun and threatens to hurt DD just enough to get him out of the way (per usual), and Ghost Rider rips the gun out of Frank's hand and screams 'I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS' because, hello, Matt is counted as a precious innocent.

I know Marvel hasn't started dropping mystical elements into our MCU show yet but they're in the post and I also know you guys are the best so please, kinkmeme, please show me 5 times the Ghost Rider shows up a little too late to keep our Matty from being hurt (pretty much all of s1), and the 1 time the Rider arrived juuuust in time to rip holy hell into anybody and everybody who dared to spill Matt's blood. I'm kind of hoping the 1 time will be against a large body of mystical enemies tearing Matt up, like maybe The Hand, but if you'd prefer it be Kingpin or Frank Castle or a resurrected Vladimir or OCs, please have at it! ♥ This can absolutely be as cracky or serious as you'd like!

Bonus points if meeting the Rider changes the way Matt feels about Catholicism
Extra bonus points if the Rider won't leave Matt's side until he's safe again, which is super embarrassing to Matt and takes much longer than expected
A meeeelion bonus points if GR gets to meet Foggy, Karen, and Father Lantom, and Matt being labelled an 'innocent' changes how they all see him
