Any prompts related to Luke Cage, even if they focus on Daredevil characters, must go on the Luke Cage Prompt Post until 31st October.

  • General

    2. All comments must be anon. If you would like to be politely banned to avoid anon-failing, leave a logged-in comment on the mod post or pm the mod account.

    4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.

    5. Prompts focusing on characters from Jessica Jones should go on the Jessica Jones Prompt Post, but crossovers with Daredevil can go on either post.

    6. Prompts that are exclusively about the comics should go on the Comics Prompt Post.

  • Prompts

Gen, Foggy and Weasel are friends

So I watched Deadpool again today and I loved TJ Miller's portrayal of Weasel, Deadpool's "normal human sidekick". And it got me thinking, he and Foggy would have so much to talk about. Not that their respective friends are similar, but in the whole "knowing crazy super-powered people and dealing with their antics".

I would love a story where these two know each other, either from before Columbia or somewhere else. Maybe they haven't seen each other for a while and suddenly meet. Maybe Weasel was arrested and called the only lawyer he knew would represent him. Maybe Foggy knows about Sister Margaret's and stops in once and a while.

Don't really care how they meet. I just want these two bitching about their friends. Or Foggy explaining to Matt how he knows an arms dealer, but it's okay cause they went to high school together.

+1 honestly when my bro went to watch Deadpool, he was convinced that Weasel and Foggy were brothers for some reason and he was SO disappointed when he found out that that wasn't true at all

Could still be cousins. I got enough cousins to constitute a small nation, and never met half of them

Possibly relevant to this prompt: In the comics, Foggy briefly got Matt a dog named Deuce the Devil Dog which he then lost in a poker game to Weasel. (Matt wasn't too bummed about it. Deuce was really Foggy's dog anyway.)

LOL I have this comics. Deadpool and Weasel kidnap Foggy to get Daredevil's attention, then Deadpool and Daredevil ditch both of them to go do some superhero-ing (more or less), so Weasel and Foggy got get pizza (where Weasel realizes Daredevil is a much better friend than Deadpool), Weasel gets Foggy hammered and then he cons him into a poker game where he loses Deuce. Poor Foggy wakes up hungover and sad.

On a side note the artist drew Foggy to look a lot like Elden Henson in that issue, it's pretty uncanny.
