Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).

RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.

Prompts focusing on characters from Jessica Jones should go on the Jessica Jones Prompt Post, but crossovers with Daredevil can go on either post.

Prompts that are exclusively about the comics should go on the Comics Prompt Post.

Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.

The woman called herself Truth.

Matt didn't exactly understand what she wanted, but she claimed to know all and see all. She had spent the last month wreaking havoc in Hell's Kitchen and he wasn't any closer to her goals, her reasons. Now, Daredevil stood in front of her and she laughed.

"Congratulations, Devil," she said with a grin. He took in her appearance. She was masked, wearing purple, but he could tell that she was relatively young, with blonde hair and big blue eyes that shone even underneath the mask. "You finally caught up to me. It took you long enough!"

"What the hell do you want?" Matt asked.

"Does it matter?" she asked. "You don't even know what I want, yet you put all of this work into finding me. You're so obsessed with having something to fight for, something to fight against. You can't handle peace, Daredevil - can you?"

He didn't answer her, because he had nothing to say.

"I know that I'm right," she said serenely. She shook her head and her blonde hair cascaded against her back. "The Truth always comes out in the end. Tell me about the one you let go of."

"What are you talking about?" Matt asked, finding his voice suddenly. "What do you want from me?"

"Tell me about Franklin Nelson."

Matt froze, a sudden coolness spreading through his body. How did she know about Foggy? How did she know who he was? Sure, his identity as Daredevil was more or less an open secret to those close to him, but at the same time, the general public didn't know.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he said, coldly.

"Oh, I think you do," she said, approaching him swiftly. He immediately stepped back. "You let go of him, because you thought that it'd be better for him."

He couldn't help himself. He froze and stared at her like an idiot.

Truth tilted her head to the side.

"Your self-worth is ridiculous," she said, shaking her head. "You think that he's better off without you, and that you just saved him from further pain. In reality, you're just a coward. You don't care what happens to him, as long as your precious feelings are protected."

"That's a lie."

"I never lie, my dear," she huffed. "That's my whole thing. You love him. You love him, and you never dared to tell him."

"I've told him that I care about him," Matt pointed out defensively. He realized that he shouldn't defend himself, but he couldn't help it. "He knows that he was my best friend!"

"You also know that's not what I mean," she said, huffily. "You're in love with him. You've been in love with him since you were in law school together, but you never told him. You were afraid of being rejected and afraid because you don't think you're worthy."

"He doesn't need to know."

"Oh, yes he does."

Then she snapped.

Matt whipped his head around. Truth was gone and Foggy was standing there, looking confused. He was dressed formally, like he'd just been in the middle of the courtroom. Matt had no idea what was going on and his heart raced in his chest, faster than anything. He couldn't even hear Foggy, who was talking above him, loudly.

"Matty..." Foggy whispered and that was one of the few things that broke through the blur. "Matty, is what she's saying true?"

He went down to his knees, at a loss for words. He didn't know what this woman wanted, who she was, or why she had done what she did. Her magical abilities seemed above and beyond the realm of possibility, even for someone like him, with the abilities that he had.

"Yeah. It's Truth."

Ouch.
I dont know why but it hurt me.

Matt has to deal now with stuff he doesnt want to.
