This post is for prompts involving characters from Netflix's Daredevil.

Now that The Defenders prompt post is live, all crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go over there. Prompts only including characters that appear in Daredevil should still go here.

  2. All comments must be anon. If you would like to be politely banned to avoid anon-failing, leave a logged-in comment on the mod post or pm the mod account.
  
  
  3. Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).
  
  
  4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2015 TV show in some way.
  
  
  5. Prompts focusing on characters from other Netflix Marvel shows or the comics should go on their respective prompt posts, but crossovers with Daredevil can go here.

Daredevil/Due South Gen crossover

The Mountie who maintains the right beyond all reason (and brought his father's killers to justice despite the personal cost) and his Chicago PD partner (either Ray or both) meet Matt either as Daredevil or as part of Nelson and Murdock.

Or Ray and Fraser meet Matt as a kid.

Bonus points if Diefenbaker the deaf Wolf takes to Matt.

Extra bonus points if Matt/Daredevil and Fraser take off on some deathdefying rooftop pursuit while Ray complains loudly.

All the points if Matt can hear a certain cantankerous but dead Bob Fraser.

Matt and Diefenbaker would be BFFs, Foggy would be like 'told you a dog was a good idea' and Matt is like 'um I don't think I'd be allowed to have a seeing eye wolf'.

Ray and Foggy can complain loudly TOGETHER.

And even if Matt can't hear Papa Fraser, maybe Jack passes on some messages through him and Fraser. <3

Matt has a Sugar Daddy

Pretty much what it says on the tin. Matt has a Sugar Daddy who he just so happens to call daddy as well. I'm not too fussy about who the Sugar Daddy is, though I do have a slight preference for it being Frank or Foggy, and for them to be older than Matt.

Karen, Matt, & Foggy meeting in undergrad

AU where Karen ended up going to Columbia and falling in with Matt and Foggy, turning the twosome into a trio from the start.

+Karen and Foggy find out about the senses by pooling together their observations, or possibly just Matt rescuing Karen
++OT3, but only after plenty of romantic/sexual misadventures for all three, of which Elektra was merely the most infamous

Gen, Matt is actually arrested after the bombings

Matt never makes it out of the access tunnels without being caught by the cops, and it so happens the ones that catch him aren't crooked, so he makes it to the news and to trial.

Foggy, meanwhile, has to contend with the idea that his best friend is a psycho terrorist that just blew up half of Hell's Kitchen and shot a bunch of cops, and the media milking it of course, making him look as horrible as possible. The fact that Matt has to channel his inner Punisher just to survive in jail doesn't help his PR.

I just want as much juicy drama coming out of Foggy's opinion of the Devil clashing with his idea of Matt, without Matt around to explain everything, as possible... And Vicious!Prison!Daredevil. Yeah, I'm gonna need me some of that Punisher, Rorschach style shit.

Foggy can't represent Matt due to conflict of interest, so maybe he takes the prosecution, or even makes a deal with Marcy, just to get close enough to assess this new Matt, try to figure out if he's still the Matt he knew, even if he can't actually talk to him.

i am a multishipper and i am sorely disappointed by the lack of content for this pairing.
i'll settle for pretty much anything that doesn't involve non-con. i don't have a particular kink.
frank and matt fighting over foggy? great. bring it here. foggy is awesome, i know that's a life fact.
frank somehow getting adopted by the nelson and murdock duo? cool. i'll read it with gusto. nothing better than a perplexed killing machine.
foggy hooking up with frank after the Break Up and matt being prickly? awesome. i'd clamp on that. even better if matt is being a pining human trainwreck and frank is seeing right through him.
foggy taking first aid course for matt and then deciding to apply it on the punisher? good. i'd dig in quick. matt gets to be the one to be alarmed and worried for once.
just give me two violent vigilantes, one more murderous than the other, and an exasperated, likely-to-have-a-stroke-before-50, foggy nelson, agreeing to share each other and i'll be a very happy camper.

S2E12 Rewrite: Matt went with Karen

What if Matt accompanied Karen when she went to visit Colonel Schoonover? Would the Blacksmith have lived? Would it end with Matt disarming the colonel and then he and Karen detained him until the police arrived?

If you are not familiar with the Batman: the Animated Series episode of the same name, here are the basics: hero gets hurt confronting villain, hero gets away and passes out, kids find hero and drag them back to their place to recover, villain tracks them down, hero miraculously recovers just in time to kick villain's ass, and kids' mom is impressed by the hot vigilante in her basement...The End

So, yeah. Something like that...doesn't have to follow it completely (especially if the filler makes the kids and bad guys less stupid--in the BtAS episode, the kids left a fairly blatant trail to follow, and the bad guys were taken out by said 12 year olds...), but you get the idea. Have some fun with it.

Could be interesting.

I wouldn't expect 12 year olds to remember to cover their tracks when dragging the bleeding masked guy/local legend into relative safety. They're 12, after all, and something really unusall (and exciting) just happened. It's not like there's a known script to follow, they have to make it up as they go along. Most adults would leave a fairly blatant trail.

But the rest could be played with pretty nicely. It might be interesting to see Daredevil through the mentality of a child, and have Matt confronted with a rather straight-forward and matter-of-factly way that children tend to view things, including Matt's... well, everything, really...

Nelson and Murdock make a commercial

The Law Offices of Nelson and Murdock make one of those cheap ads that air once at like 2 in the morning.

It's so earnest and cheesy, and the making of it was a total train wreck.

Let's see all the behind the scenes nonesense that it took to get this really silly ad together.

Is it weird that my first thought was some kind of Clerks crossover scenario where N&M rent a video camera and a Randall-like character recovers their footage while looking for the blind bisexual threesome video he assumed they were really making.
Then Daredevil has to hunt down the store employees to figure out what they know after a remix video of the bloopers ends up online.

Frank, gen, group therapy

On the one hand that premise interests me as a drama or black comedy where Frank infiltrates a support group to get more intel on a target but ends up making some realizations about himself, but on the other hand... A crack piece where everyone else has the same idea and a variety of disguised marvel heroes sit around at a fake 'arms dealing anonymous' meeting Jessica is hosting before Matt arrives and points out that no actual arms dealers showed up and that the coffee and donuts were stolen out of a bakery's dumpster.

S02E08 rewrite: Matt tells Karen his secret earlier

I feel like Matt had tried to tell Karen his secret earlier than the season 2 finale. In S02E08, after Frank's trial went down in flames and he tried to talk to her (“Karen, can I talk to you for five seconds please”) only for her to say “I don’t want to hear another bullshit excuse."

I'd like to see how that scene would have gone if Karen had given Matt the chance and he got her to at least hear him out, if he had said something like, “No, no, Karen, it's not bullshit. You said if I ever wanted to tell you what was going on with me that you would listen. Please.”

Matt/Foggy - consensual feminization

Horse in Hell's Kitchen

Prompt as titled. Hell's Kitchen had a runaway horse and maybe Matt has previously unknown skills. Maybe Foggy is secretly a horse whisperer or Karen found a novel way to get to work. All I want is any character dealing with a runaway horse.

A mounted vigilante tries to bring their crime fighting steed to the Night Nurse
A Purple Child uses their powers to get a pet horsey (or 12)
The Skrulls did a test run on horses before impersonating humans
Stick's tired of relying on sighted drivers
The Chaste's short lived attempt to lure in child soldier candidates with a phony horse outreach program
Jessica learns the hard way that breaking into a stable requires more finesse than she normally uses
Turk needed a getaway vehicle and there weren't any better options around
