This post is for prompts involving characters from Netflix's Daredevil.

Now that The Defenders prompt post is live, all crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go over there. Prompts only including characters that appear in Daredevil should still go here.

The Machine and its new Asset

Post Defenders-Person of Interest xover.

Matt's been recovering in the convent, and he's at a loss at what to do with his life now. He knows his mother is alive (yay?), but Matt is more or less dead in both his identities and he's not sure if he can or should go back.

Then he's approached by this odd man who walks with a limp, and this odd man knows way more about Matt than anyone has a right to. Finch tells him of a Machine that knows all, sees all, and gives Finch the ability to stop crimes before they can happen, and that the Machine wants Matt's help now that John is gone.

It might take some convincing, but Matt is a man who is driven to help others.

Being an Asset can be a one-and-done thing...really don't want Matt to get blown up by a missile.

Scratch n sniff stickers if the Machine meddles in Matt's personal life and manages to get Matt into a situation where he's forced to talk FEELINGS with Foggy and they resolve their issues.

Foggy's a werewolf

That's it. That's the prompt. And not one of those "Its the full moon, I must lose my mind and eat people's faces" werewolves. No. He's descended from a, uh, noble line of purebloods and he's in full control.
That still leaves Matt wondering why a freshly showered Foggy smells faintly of wet dog...

Matt is deaged to toddler / young child age, and not much else changes. He still goes out, tries to beat up bad guys and stop bad things happening. Really the only difference is Foggy's going to be able to follow through on his threat to ground him when he finds out.

I'd kind of like the change to last a while or even be permanent so Matt's forced to make some changes to his lifestyle when things don't go swimingly. But that's author's choice.

I'd also like to see some bad guys and possibly the avengers be totally confused by this little kid running around and at least occasionally successfully beating up bad guys, but again, author's choice.

I really just want to read a Matt/Frank/Karen threesome fic. It could be plot driven or just a PWP. Double penetration of Karen at some point is fine, but one part has to include Karen pegging Matt with a strap on as Frank takes her.

Fill: Even If We're Just Dancing in the Dark 1/?

(A/N: This is going to be Matt/Frank/Karen eventually. It might also be a bit long.)

It started when they still thought Matt Murdock was dead. Frank was pretty sure it never would’ve happened under any other circumstances. He probably wouldn’t have let himself want it, not really. She would’ve been better off with Murdock. Even when he’d been a bit lousy to her, well, he still wasn’t Frank. And seeing her try to cope with losing him erased all doubts of just how deep her feelings for him ran.

No, had there not been that period when Murdock was presumed dead, they probably would’ve instead reconciled eventually, and Frank would’ve honestly been glad for her. He would’ve put away all thoughts he had on the alternate possibility, the one he’d have been left to believe probably wouldn’t have worked out anyway.

He was still having grave doubts of it doing so even as he nonetheless let her climb all over him as she pressed him back into her couch and kissed him the way he’d already imagined she would kiss, fierce and hungry and knowing she had him, because of course she did. It was a good thing one of them was comfortable in what they were doing. Sure, once he might have known where on her to put his hands, or just moved them without thinking. But now, they were frozen on her.

She noticed, and pulled away. “I want this,” he said hastily, because he didn’t want her thinking otherwise. “I…really do.” It was still very recent news to him that he did, but the certainty of how he felt about her had already settled around him, same as it had in the immediate days after he’d first met Maria.

Way too much of this was going to remind him of Maria. He knew that already too. It shouldn’t; it wasn’t even that he was trying to find her in Karen again, or any stupid shit like that. But for a decade and a half now, his whole sexuality had been so wrapped up in his wife it was hard for him to think about sex and love and not associate it with her. Even those girls he’d slept with before meeting her had all run together in his memory, a general history of adolescent macho idiocy and only starting to get over it at the beginning of his twenties.

Smart Karen, looking like him like she’d already figured everything out. Or at least enough of it to say, “It’s all right. You can want this and still not be ready for it tonight. We don’t have to go further than you’re good with.”

It was the kind of consideration he wouldn’t have expected, though really, he should have, when this was Karen. It was also way too much of a relief for him to protest.

In the end, they stayed on the couch and clothed from the waist down that night. Technically, Karen’s bra even stayed on, though the cups came down, and Frank has his mouth on succulent breasts, her cries of pleasure startling, but good enough to drink. It was a taste, he knew, of what he could get, if he could only stand getting it.

Later, when they were resting, but he still had his face pressed into her chest, close enough to hear her heart, another memory of Maria hit him hard. A week into their engagement, when they’d been almost the same position, except fully postcoital, and it all had sunk in at once, not just what was coming, which he’d already wanted for too long to fear as much, but just what his wife could do to him, with so much as a word, or a smile, or a breath, or, of course, more potent ammunition.

For nearly a year, that had been both the best and the most terrifying thing to ever happen to him, at least until he’d held Lisa for the first time. Eventually he’d grown less afraid of what his wife roused in him, the passion, the vulnerability, the love so overwhelming he thought it might break him.

But he’d spent two years never expecting to deal with any of that again, and now he’d been completely unprepared. Even his and Karen’s limited contact that night had been so much, and that was nothing, he knew, to what he was capable of feeling, what he had in the past, and might now again.

“Frank?” Karen whispered, worried again, as he reminded himself to breathe, to keep it together, to remind himself he trusted Karen more than anyone else still alive, that he could let this happen with her. Probably. Eventually.

Rewrite: Claire forced Matt to talk to Foggy

When Foggy got shot, what if Claire decided to frog-march Matt down to Foggy's hospital room, locked them in and said, "I'm not letting you out until you two boys get your act together?" Cue some inevitable drama.

Pizza Guy Foggy

Matt: "I'm told by my guests that my apartment's a bit stark. I thought maybe some art would warm it up."
Vanessa: "I'm going to go on a limb and assume these guests were women."
Matt: "Well, I'm not trying to impress the pizza guy."

But what if Matt was trying to impress the pizza guy? The pizza guy who Matt senses coming a block away, who sings show tunes and always has the right quip to showing up with a pizza delivery to Matt's apartment? Matt might have to spend extra time at Fogwell's burning off the calories, but it's definitely worth it in order to have a conversation with the delivery guy.

Basically, an AU where Foggy is a pizza delivery guy (maybe still in law school part-time?), and Matt is a lawyer who has developed an affinity for ordering pizza on the nights the delivery guy is there. Cue awkward flirting from both of them.

Matt/Foggy: Chasing Foggy’s Scent

I had this idea that’s kind of weird, but here goes...

Matt’s been chasing Foggy’s scent for years.

It starts in college when the dorm room he’s assigned has a faint lingering odor of the previous year’s occupant. It’s not bad, just a faint smell of a person still there. Matt catches glimpses of it across campus sometimes, in lecture halls and campus coffee shops, but it’s always just left behind and he can never attach the scent to anyone still in the room with him.

After college, he still occasionally smells the scent - in taxi cabs, once in a restaurant, coffee shops. The thing is, he’s grown attached to the smell and he finds it comforting. Sometimes he wonders who it could be - someone that seems to always be just a few minutes ahead of Matt. When he starts interning at Landman & Zack, the supply closet he’s assigned even has the smell. He asks around then, because if it was someone still working there, he definitely would’ve picked up on it. Apparently one of the previous year’s interns had declined the formal job offer once the internship was up and had gone to another firm or something.

Matt thinks he’s destined to never meet his scent.

And then..I don’t know. He finally meets the person he’s been chasing all this time? Or he stops smelling that faint odor and worries, trying to track it down?

(I certainly don’t mean to imply that Foggy’s unhygienic or has bad BO by all this scent stuff)

A Quiet Place

For those who haven't watched the movie, basically the world is overrun with monsters that are blind but rely on their hearing to hunt down prey. Survivors live their lives being as quiet as possible, using sign language to communicate and walking around barefoot.

The night before Foggy starts his internship at L&Z, he goes to Josie’s, has way too much to drink and takes home the hottest guy in the bar. The next day, Foggy meets one of his new bosses, Matt aka Hot as Hell One Night Stand Guy. And Matt flirts a whole bunch trying to get Foggy to go out with him again on a real date.

Yes, this is totally the plot of the first episode of Grey’s Anatomy lol

Hellboy needs to go back to Hell and take care of things, but not before he bequeaths holy relics (or the Crown of the Apocalypse which lets him use real demonic powers???) to Matt. After all, he's going to need a serious powerup if he's going to fight in the Infinity War...

Matt's friends are planning something. They are talking about it when he is near and not even trying to hide it. The problem is Matt doesn't understand what they are saying.

Matt's friends(Avengers, Defenders, Deadpool would be fun, really anyone) are using social media and internet memes to get back at him for his blind jokes.

Matt has a bad/unlucky night as Daredevil and ends up running home in the early morning light, barefoot, in someone else’s sweat pants, shirtless and is grateful he still has his mask.

Someone gets part of his flight home on camera and the local news picks it up and Matt has to explain to Foggy why it happened.

Angst acceptable, but so is humour. (“Please tell me you slept with a fan and they stole your suit.” “What? No! Foggy!”)

Imagine the comment sections. The thirst would be unreal. People would be arguing about vigilanteism. Others would be cross referencing photos of his ass to figure out if it’s Daredevil or a cosplayer. Foggy would be trying to convince people the picture is fake. Jessica would derail discussions with shitposts about how Daredevil is actually Jonbenet Ramsey, now a brainwashed illuminati hitman taking down people who get too close to the truth about the reptilians living in the hollow center of the earth.

It would be glorious.

Matt has a bad trip. Foggy babysits him through it

Matt never really went to parties. So when he does go he's not up to date with the whole be careful who you accept food and drink from. He ends up taking something that makes him hallucinate.

Given the awkward duckling ball of angst that is college age Matt he has the worst trip ever. Foggy finds him and babysits him, gently calming him and helping him out for the rest of the trip.

Cuddles and cute Matt are welcome, but happy for author to take this prompt in whatever direction they want.

Role Reversal: Season 2 AU

I would like to see something based on the following prompt: "What if things had gone differently after Elena's death and instead of Foggy, it was Karen who found Matt bleeding out from his fight with Nobu?" How does this affect things for Matt and Karen further down the road? Does Karen still go to see Fisk's mom at the nursing home and still kill Wesley? How does this impact the reveal of her own secrets later down the road? How does this change the events of season 2? How do Matt's and Karen's relationships with Foggy go in season 2 when they're both keeping Foggy in the dark and Foggy doesn't know about Matt's alter ego? How does Foggy find out the truth here?

Foggy meets child / teenage Matt after he's sexually assaulted

So I read a story where a girl was sexually assaulted by someone she thought was her friend in a public bathroom stall. Afterwards she stayed in the stall as she couldn't stop crying. A stranger her age heard her and crawled under the stall to give her a hug and try to ask her what's wrong.

It's likely Foggy and Matt crossed paths many times. So prompting a story where Matt breaks down after being assaulted/blackmailed into a sexual act by someone he trusted who it turns out was just grooming him for sex. All Matt wanted was some positive attention.

Foggy hears him crying and is his empathetic caring self, whether he's figured out at this stage what happened. He comes flooding into lonely Matt's life with affection and friendship without asking for anything in return.

Perhaps his parents get recruited into the affection brigade, and they get really angry when they find out that not only did the nuns and social services not do anything about his lack of friends or anyone to turn to for affection, they let the situation with the groomer happen, and then there's the situation with Stick.

Basically I want to see little Matt at his loneliness and most manipulated get wrapped up in all the friendship and affection he can handle.

Foggy asks for his parent's help in one of Matt's depressive episodes

Up to author how they tweak it, where it goes, whether it's set with college Matt, older Matt, or even child Matt in a universe where they met earlier.

I just have this visual in my head of Foggy saying to his dad (or could change to mom) "Dad, he won't stop crying." And his dad stepping in and acting like Matt is his own child. And this being the first bit of parental affection Matt's had since his dad died.

In an effort to disguise his voice, Matt uses a perfect (and very sexy) English accent when he goes out as Daredevil. It's not much of a prompt, but I'd love to read Charlie's accent worked into the Daredevil universe somehow! I could see Karen and Foggy mooning over how sexy Daredevil's voice is while Matt has his little smirk listening to them.

Matt/Foggy Brett tries to follow up on his shovel talk post S2

Before there was Matt and Foggy, there was Foggy and Brett. The frenemies were once best friends, so despite any posturing, when Matt and Foggy started dating, Brett gave Matt the shovel talk behind Foggy's back. Matt thought it was cute . . .but post season 2, things fall apart spectacularly both professionally and personally. They close the firm and break up.

Matt's pretty sure that Foggy wants nothing to do with him, so the last thing on his mind is Brett showing up to follow through on his threats, but there he is, screaming at Matt about how out of line he was to make Foggy face the hospital alone, and then breaking up with him! Brett's ready to fight to defend Foggy's honor.

How does Matt respond?

Is he trying to win back Foggy, has he given up hope, or is stubbornly angry and willing to stay apart?
