Oh god yes. Matt steps up because absolutely no other lawyer is willing to represent the traitor Captain Terrorist (that's what some of the media are calling him) and even the Public Defenders office is going to pawn off the case on their newest lawyer.

And maybe his assets have been frozen, and his defense is being funded by Tony Stark, just to rub salt into the wounds.

Steve having to deal with an actively hostile media because he's pissed away all the goodwill bought by Howard Stark's conservation of his memory.

Yup, I'm bawling now. Well done.

Matt and elektra are two orphans who were raised by stick and grow up to be manipulative and cruel ,they enjoy seducing people and ruining their lives in the way , matt has grown bored of this as he no longers feels there's a challenge. Elektra makes a bet with him, if he suceeds in seducing frank castle recently widower, condecorated war hero, loving father and good catholic in going to bed with him and make him fall in love with him, she will have sex with him, matt takes up the challenge but things will not be easy for any of them..

Matt made a few stops on the way back to the apartment. His credit card still worked – the one connected to his account, not Elektra’s. He didn’t know if he could ever touch that money. He bought himself silk sheets because Fisk’s guest sheets were wearing on him and he didn’t want to be further in his debt. He also purchased earplugs and noise-cancelling headphones. Stick thought they were a needless extravagance that would make him weak, but there were just some things in the apartment above him that he didn’t want to hear.

Also, accidentally listening in on their every conversation seemed a bit rude.

Wondering when he started caring what Fisk thought was rude – it had to be about Vanessa – Matt returned in time for dinner. Sunday meant restaurants were crowded with families and tourists, so the Fisks (he supposed he could refer to them as that, as they were engaged) were staying in again. They mostly talked among themselves at dinner because Matt didn’t engage in the conversation. He was too distracted.

“Matthew?” Vanessa asked, sounding about as innocent as Vanessa Marianna could ever sound. “Is something wrong?”

Their body language had shifted without him noticing. They must have read his expression. He was a little angry, but not for the reasons they were expecting. He debating saying nothing, but it was hard to pass up an opportunity to taunt Fisk. “I take it you own the building.”

“Yes,” Fisk replied.

“So you know your neighbors.”

“Not personally. I prefer my privacy. But they were screened.”

Matt nodded casually and paused between bites of his arugula salad. “Two floors down, the hedge fund manager? His ‘wife’ is sixteen. He bought her through a mail-order dating service in Thailand. He hurts her, but she doesn’t speak enough English to be able to communicate with anyone.” He added, “He just hit her again. For crying that he hit her too hard.” He took another bite. “Is this the Hell’s Kitchen you wanted?”

Fisk came close to stammering but quieted his response, probably due to the fact that Vanessa was sitting across from him and he didn’t want to get angry in front of her. Eventually he said, “Do you expect me to do anything about it?”

“You said you wanted to make this city a better place,” Matt said. “Theoretically, we’re after the same thing. But that’s just theory, isn’t it?”

Fisk was pissed at him, and really having trouble not showing it. In fact, Matt as pretty sure that the only reason Fisk hadn’t reached across the table and throttled him was because of Vanessa’s presence. “And what would you do?” Fisk spat at him. “Put on a Halloween costume and beat him up?”

“I am trained in the law,” Matt replied. “I would call the office of Children and Family Services first and report a trafficking victim. Call them a second time when they didn’t follow-up fast enough. But somehow I don’t think they would get past your building’s security. You’re a private person and this place is a fortress. He would use that to his advantage. But maybe it would work, with enough anonymous tips and enough pressure on advocacy agencies involved. Maybe he would go to jail and she would end up in a shelter and get help applying for a green card. I know people who would help her do it. Experts.”

“And if that failed ... if you didn’t reach the rosy end of that rainbow?”

Matt was prepared for this. “I don’t think it would be in my best interest to say what might happen next. But I’m not in shape to do much of anything, and you have camera on me all the time. So it’s really up to you.”

“Me?”

Matt intentionally turned his head in Vanessa’s direction before facing Fisk again. “You control everything that happens in this building to some extent. You said yourself you screen everyone. And now you know someone’s dirty secret. You know that while you sit here, eating a special delivery from one of New York’s best restaurants, you’re two elevator stops away from someone getting raped.”

Fisk squirmed and Matt loved it. “What if you’re wrong?”

“I’m not.”

Fisk was no doubt getting a hell of a stare down from Vanessa. He acted differently when she was looking at him. Matt hadn’t meant to take so much pleasure from this dinner, not precisely, but he figured he might as well enjoy it while he can, because he really was in no shape to follow that guy to work and kick the shit out of him.

“I suppose I could ... call security,” Fisk said, in his own sort of agony over being forced into doing something so blatantly good, even if it amounted to nothing.

“You call security, the police, and I’ll call the sex trafficking hotline,” Matt said. “She won’t press charges. She doesn’t have the language skills to communicate anything and she’s scared. But if your security people see something and report it, and he gets arrested, the social worker will talk to her when she’s alone. It’s New York. There’s probably someone who works at an agency who speaks Thai.” He added, “It would take ten minutes of research. On my phone.”

Fisk got up and stormed out of the room, but it was partially because he didn’t like doing “distasteful” things in front of Vanessa.

“Why must you insist on testing him?” she asked Matt, amusement in her voice despite the subject matter. She was probably hardened to these things.

With a grin he answered, “Do you really have to ask?”

"Is that any way to treat your friendly neighborhood spider, man?"

Ok, I just watched the trailer for the new movie "Don't Breath." The main premise is that these three basically kids try to rob this rich blind guy because they think easy target. Then the blind guy ends up kicking their asses/killing them. I would love to see a rendition of this utilizing Matt. Obviously, Matt wouldn't be as psychotic as the guy in the trailer, but he'll still kick ass. Any point in the time line would work for me.

I've always wanted to read a fic about Foggy convincing Matt to go to a concert or game or festival or something...somewhere it would be realistic for college era Matt not to have been before. Consequently, Matt has no idea how overwhelming sensor wise it's going to be. He tries to tough it out but ultimately can't take and they are forced to leave.

Bonus if there's so much noisy and commotion Matt can't focus and can't "see."

Double Bonus if Foggy is initially pissed but then realized Matt is really hurting.

Triple Bonus if it's early in their friendship so they are still learning each other.

Quadruple Bonus if it's gen not slash.

Not long after S2 ending, Matt and Frank are kinda recreationally slugging it out on some rooftop. Their argument about killing is well-worn and the whole thing is almost friendly, more like blowing off steam than a serious fight.

Maybe for both of them the other is the closest thing to somebody who understands.

Matt gets in a good hit and Frank goes down, and Matt waits for him to get back up (like always) but suddenly Frank is disoriented, slurring his words, struggling and failing to get back to his feet.

Matt's going... uh, shit. Is this guy still the enemy? Do I call the cops? Leave him to it? He did help me out that one time...

Maybe Matt gets to the point where 'leave him to it' seems the best option, but then the bad guys arrive

Matt is raped.

... and the Avengers adopt him.
Clint insists Lucky needs a friend, Tony says there's enough room in the Tower, Steve needs a running buddy, Hulk really likes puppies, Nat wants to train him with Russian commands (Clint no, he's blind you can't train him in sign language), Thor is fascinated by Earth Fauna.
Foggy, Karen and Claire haven't spoken to Matt in a while but when they realises Matt's missing, missing person flyers all over New York. (And collectively freaking out because Matt was not in an emotionally healthy state at the end of season two).
Frank notices and starts patrolling his territory. Criminals quickly start moving out of Hell's Kitchen.

Matt is 3000% done with magic (he's 99% sure this is Loki's doing) and damn it he just wants to go home and sleep.

The Avengers aren't taking any of his hints;
- Parkouring everywhere "Oh he's been trick trained!"
- Typing "I'm Daredevil" onto someone's laptop *they close the word document without looking*
- Pointing to the missing persons picture of a newspaper "Aww, you want to play fetch?" *rolls up Newspaper and throw it*
- Barking in Morse Code. Bruce starts to get suspicious but decides its his imagination.
- "For a blind dog he gets around very well."

This goes on for a couple months until one day he wakes up and not a dog. Confusion ensues.

Alternatively; Same concept but Peter Parker, Frank or the Agents of SHIELD adopt him.

Personally, I see Matt as a Mahogany/Red Belgian Malinois (super athletic, kickass police dog) but I don't mind other breeds. :)

There are prompts exploring Matt's possible younger half siblings through Maggie, but what if JACK had another kid? (Before his marriage, maybe a one-night stand, but whatever its from, Jack never knew)

And now, after all these years, this older half-sibling finally finds out who their father is and tracks down Matt.

Up to the author for Matt's reaction, and timeline (Season 1, between 1 & 2, etc), what sort of life this sibling has lead, etc.

Bonus points: if the half sibling is tied to SHIELD or the Avengers, or even the police, OR they are a crook and they might have gotten smacked around by Daredevil recently....

Frank and Matt are soulmates. Frank knows, but Matt does not. +this is in part because Frank doesn't know DD is blind. He is 100% positive that DD saw their matching soul marks. +Frank doesn't even believe in soulmates (like yeah its a fact that everyone is born with a mark, but that doesn't mean you'll automatically have unconditional love for the random stranger who happens to have an identical mark) ++lots of misunderstandings

I see someone has indicated that they will be filling this but I am also interested in filling, perhaps less cameos, focus on the Frank angst and angel lore. Just one question; Is Matt-devil still blind?

It's a cold night, and the streets are as quiet as they ever get in New York. Karen's got her eyes wide open, reading her surroundings the way she always does when she walks at night; she tells herself that's the truth, that she's not looking for the busted window she saw in the background of the video, or the rickety fire escape. She's not looking for Matt.

If the Devil’s around, and if he wants her to see him, she'll see him. If he doesn't want her to….

Maybe Karen just wants to be seen.

Well. Heard. Felt. Maybe she wants his ear to turn her way, maybe she wants the thrum of her heart to follow him home tonight, keep him company as he peels off the suit, washes off the blood. Maybe she wants to be his lullaby.

(How long does his blood stay up after a fight? How long is it before he can breathe like a man who wears a tie around his neck, move like a man who sits at a desk?)

Or maybe Karen wants to keep him up. That night on her front stoop, behind the sweet kisses, beneath their clasped hands, the things her pulse must've told him… the things it could be telling him right now. Maybe this is what she wants: for his dick to rise and fatten, for him to fist his hands in his sheets and not touch himself because he didn't deserve her back then and he doesn't deserve her now. Maybe she wants him arching up over his stomach, long and fruitlessly hard. Maybe she wants him to ache.

Her heels ring quick and clear against the sidewalk; hearing them, Karen slows her steps deliberately. No reason for her to rush. It's a good night.

Steam billows from a vent in the sidewalk, and her breath clouds the air in front of her, puffy and white. Warmth, slipping out into the night. She leaves a trail of it wherever she goes, doesn’t she? For those with the means and the will to follow. How long do those breadcrumbs last?

Three blocks to go.

Karen doesn’t look into the shadows, or up to the rooftops. She just walks. At her building, she certainly doesn’t linger on the stoop; it's straight up the stairs, into her apartment, deadbolt sliding home. Her heart’s beating rabbit-quick, her breath is coming fast, but so what? That's life in a walk-up.

She kicks her heels into the closet, steps out of her skirt, hangs it up - she can probably get one more wear out of it, if she doesn't let it wrinkle. Still in her blouse and slip, Karen sinks down onto the edge of her bed, pulls out her phone, and presses play. No headphones. Volume jacked all the way up. Matt’s harsh breath and harsher grunts, the impact of this fists, the anger in his chest - they fill her little apartment, echo back to her.

It was only the ghost of the Devil’s presence in her old place that helped Karen stay there as long as she did. The memory of him making the Union Allied man pay. He came to this one the night the Hand took her; he told her so, when he told her everything else.

Only the walls know what he sounded like then.

She's feeling warm again. Karen wonders what tonight’s particular asshole did. What tipped Matt over that edge. It’s not that she needs to know, she’s not questioning whether it was deserved; it would just be nice to round out the picture, see it with all the corners shaded in. Life should always be like that. A tapestry laid bare.

Karen finishes getting ready for bed with a glass in her hand, two fingers of rum, two ice cubes. The rum came from a bottle with a kraken on it that she bought just because it made her think of drinking the eel at Josie’s. Dark liquor and creatures of the deep. Good times are worth remembering, even when the memories wind themselves around and around you, pull you low.

Turns out it’s not bad rum. Every sip sends more warmth flooding through Karen, right down through her core, till she's settled against her pillows with her phone in her hand and just a few swallows left.

She thought she was done with the video for the night. She’s not. One more time, before she sleeps.
