Thank you. Regardless of whether you think Daredevil's a good idea or not, things would be worse without him.

Fill: Matt/Foggy The Crow AU. Major character death. Self harm 2/4

(Anonymous) 2016-05-03 04:06 am (UTC)(link)

Sarah shoves her fist tight against her mouth to stifle her tears, it’s not babyish unless you’re sucking your thumb, Mr Matt said so, his own knuckles chewed red raw. Struggling out of bed – it’s no sanctuary anymore – she slides down beside it and huddles up there dragging an old towel around her as a makeshift blanket. It smells of dust and dirt but nothing worse like musk or sweat so she buries her nose in it and breathes deeply. She’s still cold but she doesn’t mind that, it’s better than the suffocating heat and press of flesh.

Eventually she stops shaking and swipes at her watery eyes. Lifting her head, she stares out the window at the dark night sky and remembers. Remembers when she held the door of the convenience store for blind man with a white stick and he gave her a dollar and told her to keep it for something important and that evening the her parents’ doorbell rang sharply and the blind man, Mr Matt, and his husband Mr Foggy were at the door.

Her daddy shouted and yelled and called them a couple of fags but Mr Matt and Mr Foggy kept on smiling and Mr Foggy explained how they were lawyers who they stopped bad things from happening and people could hire them to protect them for nothing more than a dollar. Sarah had looked at Mr Matt and he had taken off his dark glasses off, looking down at her so kindly, that Sarah had run up to him and held out the dollar clenched in her fist.

“Will you protect me?”

“Of course,” said Mr Matt. He took the dollar and bounced it gently in his hand. Sarah had watched the silver dollar fly through the air and dance over Mr Matt’s scrapped knuckles as her daddy yelled about how they couldn’t just break into his house and order him around but Mr Foggy wasn’t frightened at all, just said how he knew all sorts of important people like judges and could make life very unpleasant for people who hurt his clients.

Daddy had shouted some more and her mommy had too, so Mr Matt tucked away the silver dollar and picked Sarah up and took her out for hot chocolate while Mr Foggy talked to her parents. Mr Matt didn’t ask her any questions she couldn’t answer like the social worker ladies did and the hot chocolate was nice – Sarah didn’t expect anything to actually change though.

But from that day on, every time her daddy came into her bedroom, before he could do anything there would be a ring on the doorbell and Mr Matt would be there asking to see his client and her daddy would get mad but Mr Matt would smile and smile until her daddy got so mad he’d say, “Fine, do whatever the hell you want,” and Mr Matt would take her out for hot chocolate and then back to his apartment and Mr Foggy would be there blinking sleepy and say, “Oh God again,” and “Come in, come in,” and there would be a bed made up on the couch just for Sarah.

One time her daddy got really, really mad and he hit Mr Matt and Sarah had sobbed because she thought Mr Matt would go away and never come back. But Mr Matt had just laughed and said,

“That wasn’t very clever was it Mr Galbraith, hitting a defenseless blind man. Tch, tch, that won’t play well in court at all.” Then Mr Matt pushed her daddy up against the wall fists in his shirt, “Assuming it even gets to court and I don’t just go with my first impulse and beat you to a bloody pulp, do you understand me, Mr Galbraith?”

Her daddy said, “What the hell?” and, “You’re supposed to be blind for fuck’s sake,” and more and more bad words until Mr Matt shook him,

“I said, do you understand me, Galbraith?”

“Yeah, yeah, I understand you.”

After that Sarah didn’t have to go home hardly at all and Mr Matt and Mr Foggy’s couch ended up pushed across the room to make way for a camp bed because, said Mr Foggy,

“I don’t want her suing us for her chiropractic bills if she spends the next ten years sleeping on the couch.”

Then one day her mommy collected her from school and wouldn’t let her go. Sarah had been scared, but only a little bit, because she’d know if her daddy opened her bedroom door Mr Matt would come.

But in the morning her daddy had been all smug and grinning and Sarah had hated him with her whole heart. Her daddy was right though, Mr Matt and Mr Foggy wouldn’t be coming over anymore because bad men had broken into their home and Mr Matt had been hurt really bad, like nobody should ever be hurt, Mr Matt said so. Then the bad men had beaten Mr Matt and Mr Foggy until they died.

Sarah had cried and cried until her eyes were dry and hurting but she still couldn’t understand how the world could have no more Mr Matt and Mr Foggy. It wasn’t fair, it wasn’t right. No more Mr Matt laughing and saying,

“How can you be worse at cooking than me, I’m blind for f-freak’s sake.” (Mr Matt always pretended not to swear if he thought Sarah was listening) and Mr Foggy would laugh and say,

“No fair, your super-sensitive snozz can tell things are burning before they even start burning.”

“That doesn’t even make any sense Nelson.” And then they would hit each other with the oven mitts, not hard or anything, laugh some more, and then order take-out. They’d even let Sarah pick her out her own meal.

Sarah loved Mr Matt and Mr Foggy and now they’re dead and she can’t bear it. She’s all alone, there isn’t anybody to stop her daddy when he opens her bedroom door at night.

She stares up at the sky, at the moon shining as bright and gleaming as the silver dollar dancing in Mr Matt’s hands.

As she watches, before the dark clouds can cover the light, a shadow breaks free and darts across the circle of the moon. For a moment she thinks she sees the shade of a great, black, bird.

Author!Anon - thanks! I'm afraid I've had more experience with this than I'd like to admit (mostly from the other side), but I'm glad this reads like I hoped it would!

Keep writing dear, you are fantastic.

Imagine, at first, Matt does everything he can to keep Foggy from knowing that he has angry vigilantes on his tail. Because he has to keep Foggy safe, but isn't sure how Foggy would react to Matt taking all the punishment meant for him.

Foggy finds out, of course.

Matt/Frank and Matt/Other

(Anonymous) 2016-05-03 04:37 am (UTC)(link)
Matt's current SO is close to dumping him because they believe that he is inlove with Frank. Matt tries to assure them that he's not but they won't be satisfied unless he actually goes and kisses Frank and doesn't feel anything.

+Matt awkwardly explaining the situation to Frank

The SO can be any character or an OC if you want

And Father Lantom is all: "Oh, Matthew, what did you do THIS time?"

Or even better (and inspired by a previous prompt):

Father Lantom (dusts off those old acting skills from highschool drama club) preforms an exorcism on a startled and then amused Matt Murdock.

Dark!Foggy chooses to defend man who hurt/abused kids (including Matt)

(Anonymous) 2016-05-03 09:07 am (UTC)(link)
Matt and Foggy have lived separate lives for nearly a year post season 2. Both are doing well and Matt has made new friends and built a support system with them and Avengers/Defenders. He's happy and from what Karen says so is she and Foggy.

One day that changes. The news is focused on a man (not Stick!) who molested children: dozens of victims, 1000's of child porn images. Matt is sick. He knows this man well from his childhood and that some secrets he would would buried are about to be exposed.

The man is guilty as hell but everyone needs representation and Foggy is torn but takes the man as a client.

Brett is not happy. It's a huge case and he's disappointed with Foggy who seems to have changed for the worse over the last year. It'when he is sifting through some of the evidence that he finds pictures of Matt as a young boy being abused that everything changes for him.

I would love the focus to be on Matt and his reactions. No detailed sex scenes with a minor though please - just the focus on how horribly this has affected his victims.

(OP) Imagining Frank reading Punny RPF and I'm crying with laughter.
He'd probably be disgusted. Or just like "what?"

Frank/Any Canon Character, enforced marriage

(Anonymous) 2016-05-03 11:23 am (UTC)(link)
There was this prompt where Matt was married off "for his own good", but face it, Frank's life is even less normal. And everything was fine till his wife died. So someone has the bright idea that forcing him to remarry will fix him.

Matt works up an... appetite (matt/foggy)

(Anonymous) 2016-05-03 12:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Matt gets a split lip from a DD fight, Foggy won't kiss Matt or let him go down on him until it heals. Turns out Matt has the biggest oral fixation ever, so while he isn't allowed to suck it, he jacks Foggy instead and swallows his come. When the split lip finally heals, Matt gives the messiest blowjob in the history of blowjobs and it's the hottest thing Foggy has seen.
I just want more cumslut!Matt in my life, okay?

Re: Foggy & Matt - Post S2 - Self-Destructive Daredevil

(Anonymous) 2016-05-03 12:37 pm (UTC)(link)
The forst reply comes fast. A stern "no!", hurried, breathless. A lie. " I don't know," Matt tells him after a beat. "Maybe?" he asks as if Foggy had those answers for him, as if it mattered what Foggy thinks, as if he could curb his reply to fit whatever narrative he thinks Foggy would like best. "Yes," comes out softer, like a well-plaxed punch, like a sin and a confession both. It's held up like a peace offering, there you have it, this is me, are ypu satisfied?

Is that the conclusion Matt came to? That Foggy would want to see him dead?

Re: Punisher does the Marvel universe

Trans-mutate, hehe.

Re: Foggy & Matt - Post S2 - Self-Destructive Daredevil

(Anonymous) 2016-05-03 01:50 pm (UTC)(link)
OP oh that's heartbreaking. I could see it going like that. Either Matt's actively self destructing or without anyone to hold onto, he's just kind of given up.

Matt/Elektra, ageplay

(Anonymous) 2016-05-03 03:01 pm (UTC)(link)
So I've seen ageplay with Matt and Frank, Matt and Peter Parker, Matt and Foggy and Karen, but I haven't really seen Matt and Elektra ageplay. So that's my prompt--
Either Matt as a little and Elektra as mommy or Matt as a little and Elektra as a little too (older sister). Can be sexual or non.

FILL: Facial Recognition Software Failure (a.k.a. identity reveal fail) gen [1/3]

(Anonymous) 2016-05-03 03:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Here it is. Available in AO3: http://archiveofourown.org/works/6738064/chapters/15399847

Matt had first met the Avengers when they were hunting down a HYDRA base in Hell’s Kitchen. He hadn’t been sure at that time if he should interfere, especially what the so called “heroes” would react to a vigilante. Besides, if it was the Avengers business, it meant something big and beyond Matt couldn’t handle…alone, that was.

He did end up helping them up. It took a week to finish all the HYDRA business, with Matt tracking each base since he knew Hell’s Kitchen better than them. After doing his job as a lawyer, he would meet with them in a rental apartment the Avengers got as their base. He would come back from his routine with information from the men he had heard about HYDRA. And then when it was all dealt with, they left, leaving their number in case Daredevil needed assistance.

That was a month ago.

Matt was in his office, his fingers moving through the printed-Braille documents he had about the case he’s currently taking when his burner phone rang.

He froze for a moment, knowing it meant it was serious and maybe Daredevil business. There were only three people he had left his number. Claire, Foggy, and the Avengers. He honestly didn’t know which was worst.

He used his heightened senses, making sure Karen was busy before he closed the door quietly. Then he turned back and answered his phone.

“Hello?”

“Daredevil, there’s another HYDRA group coming tonight by the docks near 51st street,” Captain Rogers said.

“What are they up to?” Matt grumbled. He didn’t really like teaming up with the Avengers, mostly because their company when it came to social time was not pleasant. But he did tell them if it was in Hell’s Kitchen territory, they would have to call him.

For once, he wasn’t sure if he wanted to come. It was the Avengers business, and he was sure they could handle it. And if that meant to avoid Stark’s company…

“We don’t know, but thought you should know. Are coming by?”

Matt sighed. “I’ll be there.”

Matt stood there, in his Daredevil suit, surrounded by HYDRA men all knocked out. He had firmly told Steve Rogers that he did not want any killing, despite the government had given the Avengers permission to kill all HYDRA. They had no right, Steve had reluctantly agreed.

“So, now that is all done,” Stark clapped his hand, sounding cheery while the Avengers and Matt looked at him. “We should celebrate. Stark Tower, free drinks for everyone!”

Matt didn’t need his heightened senses to know half the Avengers sigh while the other rolled their eyes. Hulk, who made Matt feel rather intimidated, could sense his heartbeat growing steady and there stood a young man.

When Matt first met the Hulk, he would not admit he had cringed when standing beside him. Thank god the Hulk didn’t do serious damage in Hell’s Kitchen.

“Charlie, you are also invited.” Stark added.

Matt was pulled back to the real world, not really paying attention to what they were saying. He realized the Avengers were all quiet and looking at him.

“I’m sorry?”

“It’s alright dude, we’ll keep your secret.” Barton said, patting him by the shoulder. His tone meant to be reassuring.

Matt’s brows furrowed in confusion, “What?”

“Oh come on, I have the best Facial Recognition system,” Stark bragged. “It only took a minute to pin you down. Don’t worry Charles, it’s locked in the highest security system, nobody can’t crack JARVIS.”

Matt stared at him blankly, not comprehending what Stark was saying. “…Sure.”

He was pretty sure that his name wasn’t Charlie, and briefly wondered how the hell Tony Stark, a billionaire and a genius who had supposedly build the ‘best’ Facial Recognition System, manage to fail on that. Whatever it was, Matt was glad that he wasn’t identified correctly, and it meant his secret identity was safe.

Then his eyes widened when he realized the implication, “You looked me up? Whatever happened to my human rights?” Matt growled, taking a step towards Stark. “You have no right to do that.”

“Hey, hey, hey, calm down,” Captain Rogers said, coming between the two men. Matt could feel him giving Tony a dirty look, “We’ll talk about privacy later.” Then he turned back to Matt, “It’s alright, we won’t tell anyone. Your secret is safe with us.”

Matt would have reply that he would sue them, if he wanted to give away his identity. So he sighed, deciding that he would just get along with this. As long as they don’t know his identity, it would be alright.

"By the way, you make one hell of a convincing lawyer. I didn't think Kara was convincing, though." Clint added. "Love your work!"

"It was not heartwarming." Natasha crossed her arms, "Not real work."

Clint rolled his eyes, "You just don't like cheesy movies with a lot of emotions. Stone of Destiny is actually a great film."

"I liked it,' Bruce said quietly, holding his pants.

"...You don't happen to have Robert Carlyle's number, do you?"
Matt would not admit that he nearly had a heart attack when Clint mentioned 'lawyer'. And he wondered for a brief moment who the hell was Robert Carlyle. He made a mental note to ask Foggy later.

Matt was at his apartment in the afternoon, listening to news. There really was not much to do during the day. Nelson and Murdock was out of business, and while Matt would have continued if he wasn’t blind. He didn’t think he could handle it on his own firm, and he still had a lot of money to manage from himself. Mostly from the money Elektra had left him, according to her will.

“…And look it is Charlie Cox, walking down to Stark’s tower.” The woman on news said.

Matt raised his eyebrow. He had a call from Tony Stark a week ago that he would be sending an invitation to him about his big gala, inviting all the Avengers and so called friends, and some celebrities that Tony met before. It was meant to be private, only Tony’s close friends and allies invited something about the last time he threw a party that nearly ended all the guest dead by Ultron. It had been a year since he had last contacted the Avengers, and the last he had heard of them was the Battle of Sokovia and that there were disbanded.

So this must be who the Avengers thought me, Matt thought. He hadn’t gotten the invitation he was supposed to get, and honestly, he had planned to come since he had nothing to do, but he honestly forgotten that they had his identity mistaken.

(On the screen, Tony Stark clapped Charlie Cox’s back with a grin on his face. Then he must have whispered something to Charlie, who later looked at him confusedly)

Matt only shrugged, sending a mental ‘sorry’ to Charlie Cox, who must be terribly confused when surrounded by the unfortunate team of the so-called ‘superheroes’.

They thought me an English actor from Boardwalk Empire, Matt mentally scoffed at that thought.

The next day, Matt received a call from Stark.

“What is it?”

“It was a big blast, wasn’t it?” Stark cheerfully said.

“Yes, it was.” Matt said, deadpanned.

“Next time, right? I had no idea you were that much fun in parties, Prince Charles. Seriously, we should hang out more. Maybe you should cut that bullshit American accent, you sound much princely with the English. So get over here we’re having movie nights. We’ll be watching Stardust.”

“Bye,” Matt hangs up, shaking his head.

“Who was that?” Karen called, who was in the kitchen, cooking her so called virtue recipe for the two of them.

“No one important.”

Now all Matt had to think was how the hell did the Avengers mistakenly thought him as an English actor Charlie Cox, who does not even sound like him. (It wasn't like Matt could see if they actually looked like).

"Can we watch Theory of Everything? I got the audio descriptions." Karen said.

Matt grinned, "Sure Karen."

Matt inherits everything, gen/any,

(Anonymous) 2016-05-03 04:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Elektra's will, (living or otherwise,) basically gives everything to Matt.
Cue investors/etc contesting the will for various ableist/money grubbing reasons.
Plus a bunch of shady lawyers offering to represent him.

The first thing he does is pull everything out of Roxxon.

Bonus for Matt being too busy to go out at night.

Would you take a series of silly doodles, OP, or are you looking specifically for fic?
