Huh, I'd literally never heard of an ovipositor before, but already I like it. The idea of some kind of seahorse incubation deal intrigues me a lot.

matt/foggy or gen, whichever's preferred.

matt has anorexia/ednos, foggy's bulimic, and both know (or at least highly suspect) that the other has an eating disorder but neither of them talk about it. except, they care about each other, so they passive-aggressively take care of one another ("hey, matt, they were having a 2-for-1 deal on breakfast sandwiches, here, have the other one." "foggy, would you mind walking home w/ me instead of catching a cab? i know it's a 45 minute walk but it's nice out. give my stomach a chance to settle after the dinner we just had.")

i picture this being college-era but it could be anytime tbh i'm not picky.

bonus points if it all blows up and they have to have an actual CONVERSATION with /feelings/ and things.

I don't have much experience in this area, but I'm pretty sure this isn't how taking care of an "eating disorder person" works. Especially the first one.

Which doesn't mean you can't prompt it or anything, but thought I'd mention.

Does Matt interact with them directly at all, or does the story end as he walks into the night as silently as he came?

I don't know. I'm a teacher so yeah.

Mr. Murdock, the blind teacher who mysteriously catches every incident of misbehavior.

That stuff doesn't get in his eyes, so he doesn't go blind. The rest of his senses still get cranked to 11 and then some though.

Take the story from there...

I'm picturing Matt lying on the bed, two fingers deep and his face flushed as red as his cock. Frank's encouraging him, teasing him, explaining exactlywhat will happen when he gets over there, all while sitting at the foot of the bed folding laundry and trying to ignore his own erection bc dammit Matt if you folded your clothes right away instead of trying to jump me, you wouldnt need to keep re-drying them to get the wrinkles out.

Prompt: Somehow Foggy is under the impression that Daredevil wants him dead. Matt finds out and immediately needs to make this right.

Preferably with a Dark!Matt who kills criminals so Foggy's fears are justified. Romance between Foggy and Matt is a must! The more angst the better!

Bonus points if Foggy knows Matt is Daredevil and has therefore been avoiding Matt (but definitely not a requirement)

Maybe they try to play it off as late night "boxing". Though if the injuries didn't look that bad (just a few bruises now and again), maybe the viewers would start thinking "boxing" is code word for something kinky and be suspicious what Foggy knows about it. Like "Matt! You can't go... boxing the night before a trial, we talked about this!"

The guys play CAH with whoever, make terrible jokes and obscene amounts of innuendo. Bonus if Frank has a blacker than black sense of humor.

What if instead of getting splashed with chemicals, it was those crystals - that terrigen mist, and that's how Matt's eyes became non-responsive to light and he gained his enhanced senses?

I'm not that familiar with the comics version of the Inhumans, but I've been watching Agents of SHIELD on Netflix. I was thinking it might be fun to see Stick and Gordon interact. (I've kind of got his head cannon going at the moment where Stick is at odds with the Inhumans. But, for whatever reason, he wants to recruit Matt.)

Also, if the Inhumans abduct a young Matt for his "own good" what the ramifications might be - that could be a fun one. Maybe see what lengths Jack will go to in order to bring his son home? (Maybe somehow Jack and Stick team up?)

(For added fun, maybe Foggy's one, too? And they meet after they've been captured and brought to the "Afterlife"? *shrugs*)

...if you hire someone to hit you.

Post season two. Matt can't take the guilt over lying to Foggy and destroying their friendship. He hears something that leads him to seek absolution at the end of a cane/whip. The relatively safe, if very extensive and painful, beating isn't enough though, and the dom punishing him won't go any further and risk actual lasting damage.

Matt sees this person more than one, I'm thinking 2-5 times, before the dom decides to meddle before Matt goes somewhere else and ends up beaten to death. He's heard Foggy's name at some point during a previous session and let's face it, Foggy is a pretty unusual name. He (somehow) arranges for Foggy to stumble upon the aftermath of a session, pre-aftercare. Matt's still tied up, wrists cuffed above his head, covered in deep bruising and welts stacked like neat binder paper lines down his naked back, butt, and thighs.

Cue the comfort as dom turns over aftercare to Foggy and exits stage left, and Foggy realizes just how deep Matt's guilt goes, and how close Matt is to the edge. I'm thinking some tears, some very careful cuddling, and forgiveness from both sides.

A!A: I just want to let anyone checking this know that the rest of part 3 will be up soon! I wanted to finish it quick, but it's become so, so much longer than I anticipated. (For instance, I posted the first 1600 words of it expecting that 3b would be around the same amount... but so far all of 3 is about 5000 words before editing and I haven't finished the last scene yet!!)

So check tomorrow, because I hope to have the rest of 3 up then!

Matt's labeling on his clothing gets damaged. It shouldn't be too mangled right?

I just want post season 2 Matt and post Civil War Tony meeting and being there for each other. It could develop into a relationship or they could only be friends, anything's fine.

Stuff gets real here. I'm definitely going to clean these up for A03 posting soon.

Matt - Happiness Shattered

Gunpowder. Loud heartbeats. Anxiety. Fear. Talking. Yelling.

Matt sprung into action. All thought stopped and suddenly, he became more creature than man. Matt was a creature of pure instinct.

"Get down!"

Matt shoved Maria to the ground. Maria instinctively covered Frankie, shielding the baby with her body.

Next to her, Lisa shrieked.

The world slowed down. Two gangs and sudden gunfire. A family in the crossfire. Matt had no mask to protect his identity, but he immediately sprung into the same action he had been taking for years.

Guns went off and bodies fell. Matt felt nothing, although later he would recall Frank grabbing someone's weapon and mowing down gangbangers before he was hit. At this point, though, he was all action and no reaction.

There was a scream. It was Lisa's.

Bodies fell.

All Matt knew was that he had to protect his family.

"Frank!" Maria screamed.

Matt felt Frank go down. He made sure Lisa and Frankie were both in Maria's arms.

"Go!" he yelled, shoving her.

"There was a slave! I saw the collar!"

Matt heard the words and wasn't sure where they came from. He jumped onto the top of a truck.

Sirens filled the air. They entered Matt's brain, ice picks sliding through flesh and bone. He wanted to scream, but instead he heard paramedics and acted.

"There," he yelled, jumping down from the truck and leading them towards Frank. He knew that they would be able to tell he was a slave by the collar he'd been forced to wear on their family outing, but it didn't matter. "My master. Get him."

Then, he fled. The smell of blood and splattered bone fragment was enough to make him gag. Matt, however, forced himself to focus in, turn off his overwhelming senses.

Frank had been shot in the head, yes, but he was still breathing and his heart was still beating. With those things came home.

The paramedics went to work and Matt hid, trying to put his faith in God.

"Please," he prayed nearly soundlessly. "Please."

He silently prayed to God, begging Him to let Frank survive. He was a young, healthy father of two children. He had two partners who loved him, who needed him. His family needed him.

Something was wrong. Even more wrong than he'd realized.

"Nab that slave," yelled a voice from afar. It sounded too far off, and it didn't sound like one of the gang members. "You need to get the slave."

Matt was lucky that he was purely reactive at that point. He ran, jumped and hid. Listening, he heard Maria. She was in an ambulance with the babies.

"My husband..."

"He's in transit to the hospital, ma'am," said a gruff voice. "We don't know yet."

"We were with Matthew...our...our slave..." she stammered. "Where is he?"

"We haven't recovered anyone yet, ma'am," the man replied. "Please don't worry about a slave right now. You broke your wrist and your girl was grazed in the side. Her wound looks pretty superficial, but we need to get you both transported to the hospital. We'll update you."

"Okay," Maria breathed. "Let's go. Our Matthew is like a bird..."

Frankie wailed and Matt's heart ached. Then, he processed Maria's words. She'd said he was like a bird. It reminded him of a silly nursery rhyme Maria sang with the kids. Something about a bird flying home to stay out of danger... Maria had the same bad feeling that he did. Something was very wrong.

Maria was telling him to leave and Matt trusted her instincts more than he trusted his own. He knew that he had to get out of there. It was vital.

Yay, update! (This is OP btw.) I especially loved the confession scene, how tentative Matt was about bringing up Foggy and how skilled Father Lantom has to be as his priest, to try and get him to admit his loneliness without pushing him away. And it's so interesting to see how butcher!Foggy is connected to the Hell's Kitchen community in a similar and yet slightly different way than in canon. Can't wait to see how things get plotty with Mrs. Cardenas turning up.
