Maybe they both pretend to be regular blind at first, which was super ackward, but then they figure out they're both on an even playing field?

Foggy so gets Matt to do batting practice with him. And, Matt takes him to Fogwell's, for, well, you know.f

With Foggy having super hearing, he hears all the same types of things Matt does that makes him want to fight crime. Foggy may not have Matt's level of skill, but he becomes a vigilante even earlier than Matt does, because he just can't bare to hear people suffering.

Matt gets his sight back, but it's post season 2 and his relationships with Foggy and Karen are strained and he's afraid they won't want to see him.

So, he goes to Nelson & Murdock, takes a look around their old office, what's left of it. He'd still been paying the rent and hadn't cleaned out his office. When he sees it for the first time, he cries. That's when he gets up the strength to go visit Foggy. When Matt finally sees Foggy for the first time, Foggy can't help but notice the love in his eyes.

this ended up longer and gayer that the original thought, which was the first three lines, which was already pretty gay so wow

Matt: "So. We've both been pretending we aren't this way. And it turns out, we are and we've been fools?"

Foggy: "Well when you put it that way it makes it sound like we were both in the closet, trying to hide our obvious gayness from eachother."

Matt: "... um."

Foggy: "You know I'm bisexual, right? I wasn't hiding this? ...Did you seriously not know? Wait, this won't be a problem, right?"

Matt: "No! No! No problem!"

Foggy: "Y'know Matt... that kind of sounds like you've got a problem."

Matt: "No! Foggy, I knew, you were very obvious, I was just worried you had- uh."

Foggy: "What?"

Matt: "What?"

Foggy: "Dude, what were you worried about?"

Matt: "... I'm a bit gay, I think."

Foggy: "You think?"

Matt: "Not had a lot of time between figuring it out a bit and now."

Foggy: "Well then, Matty, welcome to the club! We can be a club for queer, superpowered blind people. We'd have so many members."

Matt: "Only if it's qualification on an 'or' basis, otherwise it would just be us. Unless you know another? I mean, there was this guy a while back, but i'm reasonably sure he wasn't queer."

Foggy: "Dude, two is a totally legitimate number of people for a club. Also, tabling the discussion of how 'there was this guy' because I can already tell that that has a long story behind it, I just realized something. Matt, if you knew I was bi, why would you being questionably gay be a problem?"

Matt: "Um. Haha, that's. Can I just answer with Catholic denial and guilt?"

Foggy: "I mean, i'd believe that any other day because god forbid-"

Matt: "Blasphemy."

Foggy: "-someone stop Matt Murdock from carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders and feeling guilty about everything, but you seemed almost okay with the possibility of your inevitable queerness when you said it? Why didn't you feel you could tell me?"

Matt: "You can hear the things I hear, you can't tell me I take everything too closely to heart when you hear and feel the same suffering."

Foggy: "Why do you think we're both working to be lawyers? And that was a nice attempt to derail me from that track of thought, Murdock, but not good enough. Man, if you really don't want to tell me, alright, but. You really can tell me anything, okay Matt?"

Matt: "Yeah, Foggy."

Foggy: "Dude! You and I could both hear that lie even without the heartbeat thing! Dude!"

Matt: "Yeah."

Foggy: "...Just, know I love you, alright?"

Matt: "...Yeah. I do. Love you, too."

Foggy is shot/stabbed again. He's ticked. For many reasons. So he takes a sabbatical and pulls a Doctor Strange. He isn't looking to be a hero. He's lookin to be able to keep working with heroes and do his damn job.
Cue someone again trying to shoot/stab Foggy, even Incidentally, and him shrugging him off.

I noticed in the last episode of season 2, when Matt reaches the door to Nelson & Murdock, Karen's voice-over says, "Welcome home."

Matt realizes Nelson & Murdock is home and continues to pay the bills. He doesn't clear out his office. He realizes that now that other vigilantes, like Luke, Jessica, and Danny are on the job, he isn't needed out there so many nights. In fact, when his schedule is busy, he can give them the heads up and let them save the day instead. So, he does just that and begins to take clients again.

When he gains enough clients to feel necessary to start working out of the office again, he uses a very professional looking vinyl sign over the painted glass logo, but won't change the real name on the door, underneath. (It can peal off, like a colorform.) He also leaves Foggy's office empty, ready for him to move in if he wants. Business is good enough that he ends up hiring Becky Blake to help him out. He decides to make the effort to be worthy of Foggy's trust.

One day, Foggy sees an article and an ad for Matt's firm in a professional magazine, notices the address, and feels a pang in his chest.

Yay! Can't wait. :)

Instead, he followed in his father's footsteps and became an illusionist. But, unlike Jack, who didn't move beyond street magic, Matt has achieved world-wide fame, and pulls off some crazy tricks (think "Now You See Me" levels of crazy). His manager tries to get Matt to tour, but Matt insists on staying and performing in the neighborhood he grew up in.

And yes, he still got blinded, still got his senses, still got trained by Stick, and still ended up becoming Daredevil...

How does the rest of the cast fit into this world?

And think of how even more freaky the stories of the Devil of Hell's Kitchen would be if Matt tossed in a healthy dose of showmanship and slight of hand...

Her clothes were taken as evidence and i didnt see if the police station provided her with any kind of footwear. I assume they'd either give her slippers or she'd be barefoot.

Foggy is a tenant who shows up with a flashdrive full of documents and statutes listing all the laws/rules/statutes Matt is breaking by entering the other tenants' apartments with no notice to fix their taps and throw out smelly snack food

It would be hilarious if *that's* how they meet. Foggy is ticked because his handsome, blind handyman keeps throwing out his favorite smelly snack foods.

It just came to me while watching Up but I really want to see someone make this. Frank as Carl and maybe Matt as Russel? You can really do this however you want but I would love to see a Frank & Matt sort of thing.

oh man. I'm not big on slave AUs, but... when are you updating? I want to know what happens next!

Matt with synaesthesia in addition to the enhanced senses.

Matt should regain his sight partially.
He sees everything blurred, but it's still an improvement.
Goes back to N&M office and tells Foggy Nelson about it.
"I got my sight back!"
"So you mean you can see me?"
"Well, you are quite foggy..."

That would be hell on him. But fascinating.

This multiverse needs more crack superhero teamups.
I just want Frank meeting NTW and Ellie is like "I like your shirt and coat and pants and boots but you're still a giant dick dumbass but I'm warming to you but I won't show it" and Frank disapproves of her taste in everything but feels protective.

OP, and feel free to chuck in other characters. Wolvie, Spidey and Deadpool would probably be especially interesting

Just haven't seen this in a while. So for reasons two characters of your choosing wake up in Vegas, married.

Serious or comedic, whatever.

Frank and Wade Wilson?
Wilson Fisk and Wade Wilson?

Everything is good to go.

There were a couple of I think abandoned fills for Foggy and Matt for this prompt. I'd love to see those picked back up, or one of the other ships' take on it. FISK AND WADE HAHAHAHA. Frank and Wade... I'd hit that.

aha, I just got the 'woke up married' prompt for my daredevil bingo, so I think I can fill this. ;)

(and although it won't be with fisk and wade, I can't help but think of this exchange:
"Why did I change my name to Wilson Wilson? That makes no sense."
"But it's super cute!"
"Don't call me that.")

Oh would love to see what you come up wit if you fill it. Thought I'm just imagining people reacting to Wilson Wilson:

"Wilson escaped."

"Do we know where Fisk went?"

"Wilson."

"What?"

"He got married and changed his name. His last name is also Wilson now."

"So his name is Wilson Wilson?"

"Yes."

"That's stupid."

"Yeah."

"I'm not calling him Wilson. Either Wilson. No, it's like stabbing myself in the ear."

"How about the Kingpin Formerly Known as Fisk?"

"I'm willing to calling him all that instead of Wilson...Wilson."

"That's my husband!"- Deadpool from who knows where.

(I'm not good a deadpool voice so please ignore the badness of it. However I think he would strongly support Wilson squared)

Doesn't he already have this? I thought that's what his 'World on Fire' was - him "seeing" his sense of touch, hearing, etc.

Maybe an AU where his eyes work, but info from all his senses show up visually, blocking out what he can see, replacing it with his World on Fire. So, he can only see with his eyes when his other senses are dampened somehow. Which is rare. Maybe he has to meditate to do it. But, it's not something he can do for long.
