This post is for prompts involving everyone in Netflix's The Defenders! Crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go here. Prompts only including characters from one show should still go on the relevant show prompt post.

  4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2017 TV show in some way.

So you've heard of cockwarming. Now, Matt loves loves loves cockwarming, but he also loves pussywarming, and after some raised eyebrows and pointed remarks it turns out Jessica does too.

So it's pretty well-established that Matt loves women domming him, he finds it soothing and validating and loving and sexy and wants to be bossed around even outside of the bedroom. As he and Jessica start doing their weird violent version of vigilante dating, he happily lets her take the reins and smack him around as much as she wants while he focuses on her pleasure in all aspects. Jessica likes this too, until it starts to creep her out and trigger her, reminding her of Kilgrave and how he'd force everyone around him to be randomly submissive even in tiny things, and so she reacts badly, maybe even calling Matt gross or weird and definitely pushing him away.

Matt is reminded of when Elektra would punish him for being 'too much/too needy' and is triggered back, making him withdraw and making Jessica feel like an abuser, and they both hurt each other more until they can get a handle on their traumas and reactions.

Defenders gen, reactions to alcoholism

How do the Defenders each deal with Jessica's alcoholism? Is Danny thoughtlessly dismissive of it? Does Luke feel guilty when she is driven to drink? Is Matt wary of her because he's learned that addicts are often untrustworthy? Do they stock alcohol in their own homes and hideouts so she doesn't go into withdrawal? Does Danny offer her expensive rehab programs on his dime? Does Luke hide her bottles from her?

Defenders OT4, being pissed at exes

The Defenders all get pissed at each other's exes but the person whose ex it is always defends and loves them and don't know how to gracefully handle it--Reva put Luke into the experimentation program herself, Elektra emotionally abused Matt while trying to seduce him to the Chaste and Foggy left Matt for trying to save the city from the Chaste (and then tried to convince Matt to retire after Midland Circle again), Davos fucked up...

Defenders OT4, Matt's a little scary in his masochism

One of the Defenders makes a joke about Matt letting them slap him around whenver and Matt's eager for it. The rest are horrified and keep questioning him, trying to find his limits, but he's happy to be cut up with knives, punched, kicked, fucked without lube, CBT, slapped in the face, flogged, whipped, caned, spanked....

Meanwhile Matt is baffled by their horror and points out that he *does* have limits--like he wouldn't let them interfere with his job or go near Foggy!

Jessica's fine with Matt, except when he describes something that Kilgrave did to her that someone else did to him (Stick, Elektra, maybe even Foggy or Karen) and insists it wasn't really abuse or couldn't possibly be abusive at all. It drives her nuts and makes her want to punch him.

Oooooooh this is good, I think it took a lot of emotional work for Jessica to come to terms with what happened to her, and then there's Matt I'm-not-a-victim Murdock insisting that 'he's fine, nothing that bad happened to him, just ignore the masochist tendencies, borderline-suicidal behavior and emotional triggers.'

Yeahhhh that isn't going to go well until Matt either gets a good talking to or some therapy.

Defenders OT4, get together because of a dog

The Defenders are sort of a team after Midland Circle, but a fragile one. However, when they must adopt a dog and none of them can bear to part with him/her and they have to pass custody around of the dog, they slowly fall in love with one another and make a new place together with the dog.

Bonus points if it's a dog rescued from a rich asshole's house and was neglected (left in a room basically with little to no training or affection or attention) and thus requires them all to cooperate to rehab it.

Jessica/Matt, stupid triggers

Jessica and Matt commiserate over having truly stupid triggers--Jessica wants to throw up from British TV or the sight of men snapping their fingers at someone, or at anyone named 'Kevin' or stories where a man buys a house or other extravagant gift for his girlfriend/love/wife, and Matt can't stand being around other blind people, the taste of dirt, or the sound of swordcanes.

Danny is still trying to improve so he asks for more constructive criticism from Luke. Luke is a bit less harsh now that he knows Danny but there's still a lot to go over.

OP here to say oops... hit the Submit button accidentally too early. But it works I guess...

More detail below.

Danny left the US at ten, which left him with massive gaps in the kinds of skills you need in Western society, but a very particular and not obvious set of advanced skills from the culturally distinct education be needed to be Iron Fist.

So there must be times when Danny surprises the team with something - speaking a third or fourth or beyond that language, having advanced knowledge or religious studies and quoting scripture or a holy book, having a deep understanding of philosophy or music or calligraphy, etc. Maybe he even schools Matt on proper meditation technique.

I think we just need a fic exploring the clear cultural divide in Danny's education to show that he can sometimes be shockingly knowledgeable or well trained. The monks trained him well on the stuff that mattered to them.

And then one time when he is completely unequipped with a skill that nobody can believe he never picked up, to an even worse degree than something we've already seen.

Hogarth is Foggy's mon

As Many has pointed out Foggy's work relationship With Hogarth it's like the one he has with Rosaline in the comics so what if Hogarth it's his mom just one night stand Many traes ago...
Jessica of course is the one finding out.

The Defenders Are a Bad Influence and get Straight Edge Danny Drunk or High

Given the Kun Lun attitude Danny implies in Iron Fist about sex and bodily purity, imagine Danny has been sober his entire life and missed formative years when teenagers experiment with drugs and booze.

Now imagine someone who never drinks or uses substances trying to keep up with Jessica. Lol

Would prefer something where the other Defenders encourage him to let loose and then get protective when it's too much. But maybe Danny's just a lot of fun and finally chills the hell out.

Defenders OT4, watching scary movies

Defenders/Get Out Crossover

At the end of Get Out, Chris and Rodney escape to NYC. However, Chris is desperate to make sure there's no police investigation against him, so he hired Jessica Jones to make sure that the other people are free. She knows Luke's in on this, so she ropes him into, and then comes the rest of the Defenders.

Defenders, Spider-Man, Avengers: The issue with child soldiers

So while the Defenders have an inkling that Stick trained Elektra and Matt they don't know at what age.

A city wide emergency has the Defenders meeting the Avengers and Spider man. People are horrified when they learn his age. An argument breaks out.

Everyone thinks they see their view point (child soldiers are bad etx) until Daredevil makes the situation awkward by basically saying he knows Peter isn't being told everything. He and elektra were kept in the dark as to the full capacity of their place in the War against the Hand. Peter deserves disclosure.

When asked how he would know Matt let's it slip he was a child when trained.

Danny/Defenders, sexual instigator Danny Rand

The other Defenders assume Danny is naive about sex and relationships, and in a lot of ways he is. But in Kun Lun, love was freely shared and being involved in poly relationships was the norm.

Basically, the rest of the Defenders assume things between them will never go beyond flirting. Then Danny casually suggests he'd love to be in a four-way relationship with them and, wow, the kid's idea is veeeery intriguing.

Im horrible.
Jessica has to instigate and top, and she hates hates hates how much following orders makes her feel like how it was with Kilgrave.
Her partner is just as upset. Preference to one of the other 3 or multi.

I'm pretty sure Jessica would flat-out refuse and prefer to die.

She might not even do it when it's her friends' lives that are threatened - not because she doesn't care about them but because she really just *can't*, she's frozen, every fiber of her being is protesting and even as she watches them fall, and there is a scream building up somewhere inside her, she still can't bring herself to strip, to move, to do anything but refuse.

Defenders OT4, Omega!Matt, heat

While both Jess and Luke are alphas, and Danny is a simple beta, Matt Murdock is an omega. Normally this doesn't play much of a problem for him, but since Midtown Circle he's been off suppressants and goes into heat one night around the rest of the Defenders. Luke and Jessica take turns guarding him and fucking him through it, while Danny kisses Matt and jerks him off and makes sure they all eat and drink water in the haze.

++Matt feels bittersweet about it, because he misses his former alphas (first Elektra, then Foggy) and feels inadequate
+++++Luke and Jessica kiss one another and end up forgiving each other due to heat daze
+++++++Danny also feels unwanted, but is assured by everyone there that he's wanted and important during the heat

One time, when Jessica and Matt are having sex, she's triggered by something relatively innocuous and ends up slapping Matt and hitting him or even possibly tying him up until she comes to. While she's horrified and frantically trying to get him back to normal, he's in subspace from the rough treatment and very happy about it.

LOL omg this is such a dramatic prompt, I'm so down for the fallout of it all. It might lead to a beautiful more real relationship too, where Jess needs to be in control in order to relax and enjoy herself and Matt needs to be hurt, used, to feel loved and wanted

The Defenders all get infected with a sex pollen that makes them fuck each other for days until it dissipates. Afterwards, Danny and Matt are perfectly fine with the experience and happy to keep having sex, while Luke is disturbed and Jessica is completely livid and horrified and self-loathing about it.
