This post is for prompts involving everyone in Netflix's The Defenders! Crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go here. Prompts only including characters from one show should still go on the relevant show prompt post.

After the Midland Circle mess and Matt's dissapearance Brett who has always sideways looked at Matt puts two and two together and goes confront Foggy. They talk and Foggy lets it all out on him.

Brett talk to Foggy aboggy about not finding a body and that Matt is probably alive and he starts his own side investigation untill he stumbles upon wherever Matt is.

Sowande in Harlem

I kinda think Sowande would've been more compelling if he'd been part of Luke Cage season 1. I'd like to see a fanfic exploring Sowande's participation in the organized crime up in Harlem. Was he one of Cottonmouth and Diamondback's loyal customers? Was he someone Diamondback was intimidated by because of his connections? Just I want something to explore Sowande's integration into the crime circuit and interacting with Shades, Cottonmouth, Mariah, Diamondback, Zip, and Domingo.

Jessica, lack of faith

All of the Defenders except for Jessica have some kind of religious faith/are influenced heavily by religion. Matt's a devout Catholic, Luke's father was a preacher, Danny was raised by monks who are hinted to be Buddhist. But Jessica makes no reference to religion at all, except to make fun of it or disapprove of the way it's used by some people. I just thought it would be interesting to contrast her agnostic attitude with the rest of the team.

Lets just ignore that the last episode of Iron Fist had Davos and Joy plotting Danny's demise.

Instead lets go with what it really looked like, a jilted lover stewing over his best friend dropping everything they he worked his whole life for and then hooked up with some girl. (one of the enemy no less!)

Time passes, and since neither of them can go back to K'un-Lun, one seeks the other out, or they bump into each other and manage to rekindle their friendship again, even if Danny's still an asshole for leaving in the first place. At least the Hand has been mostly defeated and Davos' idiot friend seems to be improving enough not to be 'the worst Iron Fist ever"

Except then Danny introduces Davos to his new Defender friends, and Davos doesn't like them at all, no thank you, not one bit. (well, maybe that Jessica chick is okay.) But why does he need them? Davos totally had him first.

Bonus if anyone makes a joke at Danny's expensive and Davos gets fighty, even if he was just insulting him two minutes ago.

Consequences of Jessica's alcoholism

I'm curious to see the repercussions of her alcoholism and how the others react. Have her mess up in a fight and get hurt, or pass out in the middle of the day, or get sick because she's not sleeping or eating anything other than alcohol. I'm curious to see how the others would react too, would luke feel guilty? Would Matt understand? Would Danny be judgemental or oblivious?

So, I know this is super cliche, but the whole issue was kind of swept under the rug, what with the ariival of obviously blind Stick who's a good fighter and the whole 'we need to band together' talk, but what if it happend another way? What if Matt was in the mask when they met him, and Jessica didn't pressure him into taking it off? What if Stick didn't come untill later or at all?

Luke and Danny not so separate lives

So by the end of defenders Luke and Danny were friends. They met, bonded and fought beside each other. 

Luke likes Danny and he figures they'll probably help each other out in the future at some point. They're both doing similar things so their paths are bound to cross every now and then. But outside of fighting crime and evil ninjas and trying to save New York he doesn't think they'll see each other that much. Their day to day lives are just too different.

He wasn't counting on the fact that his girlfriend is one of Danny's best friends.

Basically Claire has essentially adopted Danny and Colleen. Luke and Danny end up being in each others lives alot.

What if The Hand resurrected Kilgrave instead of Elektra? Because, sure, she's strong, but he can control minds, and that's infinitely more useful to their cause. But they don't anticipate Jessica Jones becoming involved, and of course things spiral out of control. Cue Kilgrave kidnapping Jessica, the Defenders going on a rescue mission, and tons of angst and trauma and reluctant teamwork.

i can't remember which defender (danny i think) it was because i binged the entire thing in one sitting + retained nothing but danny says that matt had no intention of getting out of midland circle so i'm just looking for anything involving suicidal matt. matt hiding it well. matt getting sloppy during fights as a subconscious cry for help. someone noticing. someone noticing early. someone noticing late. matt seeking help. matt being extra cagey + secretive about it. matt being in denial about it. matt accepting it. matt breaking down. matt being obstinate. matt asking for help. matt refusing help.

S01E07: Slight Rewrite - Matt wasn't alone in the office

It kinda bugs me that Matt was left alone in that private office at the precinct passed out and that Foggy only came in right after Matt regained consciousness. Given Karen and Foggy were at the precinct at that time, I'd like a slight alternate version of that scene where Karen and/or Foggy stayed by Matt's side until he regained consciousness and then eased him back up to speed.

Matt/Karen - Missing Scene Bridge in S01E05

It looked like some time passed in "Take Shelter" between when Matt grabbed Karen from her office at the Bulletin and when Karen showed up at the precinct. Like, Karen didn't get to the precinct until after lunch, since Trish was already there when Karen arrive.

I could see Karen agreeing to stay the night at Matt's apartment before going to the precinct. Do they talk about what exactly Matt knows about the Hand in more detail? Maybe some acknowledgment of Karen's past connections to Danny? Maybe Karen knows some more details about Luke to convince Matt whether or not to trust him (because Karen had to have covered Luke's case), as well as details about Danny? Do they sleep together? Does Matt tell Karen about Elektra or does he withhold that? Is Karen like "If you're gonna take them on, I want to be by your side"?

Adding a few more details, I point out that Karen's wearing the same clothes at the precinct that she's wearing at the Bulletin. This means she didn't go home to change. And I think the only way I could see this happening is if Karen spent the night at Matt's apartment.

Matt wasn't the only one with trigger word

Stick practically raised Elektra until he had to send her away. He trained Matt for a few years. Matt isn't aware that he has trigger words to get those stupid ideals out of his head and make him the weapon that he is.

Stick never had to use them or the urge to use them, he likes the kid despite him being a pain in the ass.

When Black Sky comes along, he knows that's Elektra's body. He knows she may there, despite his massive doubts.

So when time comes he tried a trigger...Elektra is somewhere in there and boy does she react.

Of course Matt gets all mighty and tries to stop it, the situation is far too delicate for this so Stick triggers him to.

Now the defenders have to take down the Hand, there is no doubt about that, but they don't feel right fighting with the Devil and the Black Sky. Unfortunately they don't have much of a choice.

TLDR: Stick planted triggers in Elektra and Matt. Stick isn't sure if it'll work with Black Sky, it does. Matt is triggered to keep him compliant.The Defenders still have to take down the Hand with them.
