This post is for prompts involving everyone in Netflix's The Defenders! Crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go here. Prompts only including characters from one show should still go on the relevant show prompt post.

Jessica has a shitty PTSD week or two and feels like utter crap both physically and emotionally. Matt and/or Luke and Danny work together to do what she needs and tells him/them to make her feel better. Matt can give her a foot massage and quietly help bandage up wounds, Luke can have life-affirming no-worries sex with her, and Danny's weird chi tricks can heal her physical problems, all the while him/they can clean up her apartment and ensure that when she gets back, there's hot food and a warm, clean, safe space.

Let's not beat around the bush, what would happen if he iron fisted someone's ass? Does Can he control it enough to summon the chi and let it dissipate in a non-harmful way? Or is Luke's sphincter of steel the only thing that protects him from a very embarassing hospital stay?

Luke/Danny misunderstanding

Danny asks Luke out and is rejected, or at least that's what HE thinks happened. Luke isnt actually aware of any of this.

Rebuilding The Chaste

Elektra also survives and sneaks out samples of bones. She brings back Stick.

She's lost and unsure but knew she had purpose when with the Chaste.

They rebuild. It's not against the Hand but there are always things that needn't killing. Matt is not happy being impromptu sensei.

Like elusive dicks they are they don't tell them defenders because ninjas.

Vigilantes appearing and vanishing he can take. The trouble they cause he can deal with, even when that trouble is a fucking building exploding in the middle of the city. But goddammit, Murdock was a good man. He deserved better than to fall off the face of the earth in suspicious circumstances and hove no one ask a single question on his behalf. Just because the supposed "heroes" were involved.

Or maybe for some other reason. Shit, Brett knew that Nelson and Page weren't as close to the guy as they had been before, but he didn't think it was THAT bad.

Off the clock, in private, unofficially and almost in secret, but he investigates. Relentlessly. Follows leads, talks to people. Reconstructs the events. Drops a word or two with Foggy Nelson, toeing the line between friend and a suspect. Asks Karen Page out for coffee. Tries to hire that PI onto Murdock's case, just to see how she reacts. And the more puzzle pieces he collects the more he thinks there's something really, really wrong with the picture he's getting...

...and Matt Murdock is looking more and more like a murder victim.

Matt's always been kind of crappy at taking care of himself, but now he has three new friends who are more than willing to join Foggy in calling him on his shit. I'd love to see that in action.

People who are friends with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and The Devil of Hell's Kitchen usually think that their lives couldn't get any crazier.

That's why they find it almost laughable, when their superfriends advise them not to listen to Danny Rand too much, if they want to keep their sanity intact.

Why would you go insane from listening to Danny, though?

I mean, the guy is so completely alien in his rhetoric that no one in the West takes him seriously,whether they listen to him or not. And nothing he says is actually all that disturbing, unlike some of the shit that Matt or Jessica could spill on you, or even Luke if he tries.

Matt & Colleen, violence

When Colleen and Matt are forced to team up, both of them are not sure if it's gonna work. Turns out, they have more in common than they thought.
Something that deals with Matt's and Colleen's violence and anger issues and how they're very alike when it comes to that.

Bonus, if somehow Matt asks Colleen out for a date. Or other way around.

Matt's place becomes Defender's HQ

Daredevil's dead. More importantly, Matt Murdock's dead. It's shit. Even if they knew him less than a week, it's still shit. Worse than a client blowing his brains out, somehow. Maybe she's just getting used to clients suddenly dying - not a comfortable thought. Jessica saves it for when she has more alcohol at hand.

Anyway, Murdock's friends can't bring themselves to throw his apartment. To be honest, it doesn't sit well with Jessica either. They're all moping around when it comes to managing what was left of Murdock's life - first Nelson was footing the bill, then Ironclad bought the building in an utterly unsurprising, sudden decision. It's honestly quite ridiculous.

The place is gathering dust.

And, well, it's empty. And the rest of them need a place to meet from time to time, sleep shit off or whatever. Murdock's place always seems conveniently nearby when that happens.

Sometimes they meet Murdock's other friends there, too: Nelson already halfway to hangover or Page curled up asleep in the armchair, her files still hanging from her hand. One memorable time, Jessica walks in on Frank goddamn Castle searching the place. Had she been a bit more sober, she probably wouldn't say some of the things she did that day.

When she's really, really drunk, Jessica thinks that maybe there's some kind of poetic closure in how that stupid place binds them all, the home of a fallen hero who died so others could live on.

Savage Matt

Danny has healing abilities, or at least a careful watch while training.
Luke can't injure himself, Jessica isn't likely to just sprain her wrist.
Matt Murdock's mentor left him when he was a kid. That meant he was self taught, and forced to keep his skills up to date on his own.
He's not neat, he's not practiced or technical, sure he may have a few killer moves but more than anything, Matt Murdock is downright vicious.

+Matt has a 'let the devil out' moment that honestly causes the other defenders to freeze
++ Matt uses a highly unconventional fighting move that only works from sloppy experience, which is sick to think about
++++++++++++ the Defenders face some sort of supernatural threat, or abnormal one, and it's proving tricky for everyone to some degree but Matt's outright struggling with his lesser strength and disoriented senses. Whoever the opponent is gets a good hit on him, and Matt just SnAPPS. Attacks the guy like a feral dog and just bashes him to a pulp with wayyyy too much force and just-
+++ One of the defenders has to physically pull him off of the foe, mindful of Matts own injuries

Defenders OT4, fucking Danny quiet

Danny makes some comment at one point during sex that he can't be quieter, nothing can make him. The other Defenders fuck him until he's so worn out he's silent in response.

Echolocation

Matt figured out how to use 'echolocation' by clicking his tongue or some sort of low noise most people ignore. Because his hearing is so good, he can hear it bounce around and boom, echolocation.

Just a cool anecdote: I've read that some people can actually do this. I also remember watching a documentary where a device as developed that sits on the tongue, which also allows a type of 'sight'

ABO protective Alphas Matt, Jess, Luke, naive Omega Danny

The monks taught Danny nothing about Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. Maybe no one ever presented in their realm or maybe Danny was unknowingly taking suppressants. Either way, he's never had a heat and no one has taught him anything beyond what he'd learned before the crash. He has no idea what a heat coming on feels like. Or how much a heat can affect his chi. The Alpha Defenders need to get Danny through his first ever heat, which will be a difficult one since it was suppressed for so long, and then cram years worth of teachings into the time between Danny's next heat.

Matt/Frank, Defenders OT4, a/b/o, heat misunderstandings

Matt's an omega. Jessica and Luke are both betas, and Danny's not sure if he's a beta or an omega--K'un Lun society didn't differentiate between alphas, betas, and omegas. They all offer to try and help soothe him, at least, during his next heat, but he says he's fine. They figure it's just him intending to wait it out and be all self-sacrificing, but when they get there, they find alpha!Frank Castle fucking Matt through it--and to their minds, obviously without consent.

Oh shit, plot twist! I wasn't expecting that last line. After everything that happened with Elektra, the other Defenders have to be freaked out about yet another killer in Matt's pants. Do they catch them when they're already knotted together so they can't separate them?

Cataracts

Matt develops Cataracts after he and Foggy split. They're severe, and completely cloud his pupil, leaving him blind if he wasn't before.
Nobody bothers to tell him he's developed cataracts, because they think that's part of his blindness.
Cue ghostly unnerving stares, and even more reason for him to keep his glasses on.

+ Jessica gives him a ghost pun, which he doesn't understand at all
+++ People struggle or misidentify his eye colour which hurts his self esteem because wow, do his eyes really freak people out that much
++++++ Foggy or Karen groan at him and ask if he got another chemical spill in his eyes, leaving him super confused and self conscious

Blind lessons

The Defenders are useless fighting in the dark, except Matt.
Cue Danny essentially forcing the others to take 'lessons' from Matt about being blind.

+ Matt really doesn't want to teach them, mostly because he's too afraid that he'll be like Stick
++ Jessica gets him plastered and only then does he give them a first lesson, all the while barely able to stand up straight
+++++++ Someone gets a wicked headache from trying to focus on listening especially with all the police sirens. Matt just quietly makes them sit down with their head braced because headaches are very common
++++++++++++ Luke walks into a wall, breaks the wall, and doesn't notice because of how hard he's focusing/or injuries

Missing Scene: What happened at the Royal Dragon dinner?

We join the heroes' conversation at the Royal Dragon right before Stick shows up, when the conversation turns to them talking about their next move in fighting The Hand. But what did they talk about before this? (I imagine they must have been eating for at least a half-hour or so before Stick got there)

Bonus if some acknowledgment is made about how everyone seems to have overlapping inner circles, so things like:

* Jessica softening up about Jeri Hogarth knowing that Hogarth owes her career and the existence of her firm to Danny's parents and has tended to their graves all this time

* Luke's incredulous reaction to knowing that Foggy, the lawyer who defended him, used to be Matt's law partner. For that matter, Jessica realizing Matt was representing her as a favor for Foggy.

* Everyone's reaction when they realize they all are acquainted with Claire Temple

* Danny having a mild reaction to knowing that Karen, the reporter who interviewed him about the chemical plant, is Matt's girlfriend.

* Jessica learning that Misty, the detective who grilled her, knows Luke intimately and has also slept with him

Foggy hires Jessica to found Matt

Blood Money

Matt saved some rich business man who wanted to repay him for his service, literally.
Cue the sudden overwhelming surge of 'Blood Boxes' or boxes marked with small amounts of blood on the lid, containing either money or something in efforts to repay the devil.
Thanks to all of the 'offerings', Matt can Daredevil all the time now.

+ Some thug tries to open a blood box only for his friend to go "No!!! That's the devil's box!! Don't touch that!!" And everyone knows not to touch the boxes.
++ Matt can sniff them out, no matter how well hidden because of the blood on the top
+++ Matt saves an old lady and she puts a casserole in a blood box on her fire escape
+++++++ The other Defenders are confused by the sudden surge of empty boxes marked in blood, and they're convinced that it's drugs only to open one up in winter and it's a careful frozen Pecan Pie marked 'to the Devil'

Scars

Danny has a few scars, here and there. Little white lines that are barely raised and easily forgotten.
Luke has one, from long long ago that never quite vanished and only rarely does he remember.
Jessica has a few scars, although invisible and always hidden.
Matt....Matt has a lot of scars, bold bright angry things like a gaping grin on some horrible monster.
No wonder he never wanted to show them.


+10 Matt always wears these long thin underarmor or long shirts under his suit, so nobody ever actually see's his scars
+1000 Matt has super thin/faint scars on his face from scabs healing messy.
+1000 Matt snorts when someone says something that could reference to his fight with Nobu a long time ago.
"I swear to god murdock, if you keep talking I will drag you across the floor and out of this room."
"I've had that happen before. Didn't keep me down long."
+1000000000 Scar Tissue, especially Epithelial scar tissue in that large of an area, never regains the normal level of flexibility or elasticity of normal skin. Matt is downright crap at Yoga, especially his one side for some unexplained reason.

1x06 rewrite: Elektra didn't win the fight

So in the actual fight, Matt gets taken out by Elektra when he lets his guard down, leaving Jessica alone to fight her, and she gets taken out just in time for Luke to recover and then get taken out in turn.

But what if things went down differently so that Matt, Jessica and Luke were able to work together to fight Elektra? Would they still lose and Danny still get captured? What if they won the fight and overpowered Elektra? What would the three of them and Danny do about Elektra? Would they hand her over to the police or would Luke, Jessica and Danny once again have an argument with Matt over what to do with Elektra?

Jessica and Matt crossed paths with Elektra

So what if Elektra was still sleeping in Matt's bed when he and Jessica came by the apartment so he could change into civilian clothes before they went off to interview John Raymond's daughter. Would Matt have tried to get through to Elektra and try to snap her out of the Hand's brainwashing? How would Jessica deal with this?

Frank/Matt accidental bonding

Frank and Matt are in some way bonded, mentally, A/B/O style, literally physically glued together, or whatever else you can come up with, through circumstances beyond either of their control.

+ Defenders being not okay with it
++Frank doesn't kill during this (if it's temporary) and Matt almost wishes it was permanent

5+1 | Healing touch

Danny can heal with the Iron fist and it's a shame to not see that ability used more often, especially because he has friends who get their asses kicked regularly. So, five times Danny healed one of the Defenders or closed allies, and one time they took care of him.

Ideas to consider:

+ Luke has bulletproof skin but blunt trauma can still cause internal damage or shattered bones.

+ Using his chi to heal drains Danny of energy considerably, he's prone to pass out or sleepily curl up next to the person he just healed. Please, someone bring this kid a blanket.

+ Alternatively, Danny needs to eat a lot to get some of his energy back.

+ If it happens during a fight, there's no way he can protect himself later if he can barely stand up. Some backup is welcome.

+ Danny knows now that Jessica doesn't like being touched so he needs to be extra careful around her when she get hurt/poisoned and needs a fist hand.
