Defenders-only Discussion Post

This post is for prompts involving everyone in Netflix's The Defenders! Crossovers between anyone in the four individual shows should go here. Prompts only including characters from one show should still go on the relevant show prompt post.


Rules:

• General
  
  1. YKINMKATO. Play nice. If you don't like something, scroll on.
  
  
  2. All comments must be anon. If you would like to be politely banned to avoid anon-failing, leave a logged-in comment on the mod post or pm the mod account.
  
  
  3. Subject lines should only be changed if you're posting a prompt or a fill (indicators like OP or Author!Anon should go in the body of the comment).
  
  
  4. RPF is allowed. Crossovers, characters from the extended Marvel Universe and comics canon are allowed, but must relate to the 2017 TV show in some way.
  
  
  5. Drop a comment on the mod post if you have any questions or problems.


• Prompts
  
  1. All types of prompts are welcome.
  
  
  2. Use the subject line for the main idea of your prompt (pairing or characters, keywords, kink).
  
  
  3. Warnings are nice, but not mandatory. Get DW Blocker if there's anything you really don't want to see.


• Fills
  
  1. Put [FILL] or something similar in the subject line when posting a fill.
  
  
  2. Announce your fill on either the Completed Fills Post or the WIP Post.
  
  
  3. Long fills can either be posted over multiple comments, or posted on AO3 and linked back here.
  
  
  4. Multiple fills are always okay.
  
  
  5. Fills can be anything! Fic, art and vids are all welcome.

That would be amazing. And they'd be all yelling and threatening and 'shit, shit, how do we make sure they're not bonded' meanwhile Matt is still in a heat daze and completely out of it and unable to answer questions or clear things up.

But what if they are bonded already? What if while Matt's out of it, Frank's threatening everybody to get away from him or he's going to kill them all? Yep the Defenders would not react well at all. Frank is already so extra, but alpha Frank would be super extra ott lol. Maybe this is something that Matt hid from everybody, that he's already bonded to Frank because he's got a great track record of making terrible life decisions. Oh shit, maybe that's why Elektra is so extra in Defenders, because Matt's not hers anymore and killing him is the only way she can have him. I'm not usually into ABO but this is really making me think how well it could work!

OP--I don't know if Frank would be okay with being bonded necessarily, but definitely moving much more towards that. And of course if he didn't know the Defenders--or if he did and blamed them for Matt's almost death--then he'd be pulling out a convenient gun and threatening them too. And Elektra could be pissed at Matt for leaving her despite bonding to her earlier in college.

How exactly are bonds formed in this world? Perhaps the stress of being caught and attempts to force them apart causes type of bond?

OP here--I'd very much rather NOT have Frank and Matt bond. I'm fine with different headcanons about actual mechanics, whether that's biting or unprotected knotting or impregnation, but IMHO bonding is deliberate (though heats can spur people on to form them impulsively) and Frank has just baaaarely enough self-control to not let it form. (Though maybe a temporary bond would be fine?)
