Matt feels guilty because he can't save everyone - cases against corporations that he and Foggy can't win, and the constant background noise of people in the city getting hurt.

He remembers every cry, every scream, every victim. When he goes out as Daredevil, he doesn't defend himself very much, even if he does win. He lets the scars and bruises collect on his skin.

Cue Foggy noticing how bad Matt looks one night and telling him: "Dude. You have to stop."

While Matt is no stranger to alcohol, he's never taken it too far. For some reason, he does one time. It goes badly, and not in a funny way.
Write Matt a reason to never do it twice.

(oh my god why is this so ot3 for me) Vanessa isn't content with just having both of them in her bed at the same time.

Yep, I'm going there. It starts out with Matt trying to figure out why he suddenly feels so strange after a one-night stand with Foggy. And then he hears a second heartbeat when he's all alone and starts freaking out.

Cue crying Matt trying to explain to Foggy what the hell is going on. Wrap me in a ball of angst and fluff if you will.

Matt's hypersensitivity means that it's easy to mess around with him enough to have a serious effect without actually putting much effort into it. All it takes is the right, light and fleeting touches in certain areas and a breathy quality of voice and speaking just close enough to his ear to have him come undone while still fully clothed. He doesn't even need full on contact or blatant touching below the belt.

I want to see Karen and Foggy double-teaming him and doing this while in the office or somewhere else.

Super duper bonus points if it's a semi-public or full on public area.

Inspired by a comment I saw on Tumblr, and ignoring the fact that the X-Men technically don't exist in the MCU, Foggy is secretly a mutant.

He was never an X-Man or anything like that. Maybe he doesn't even know he has a power, as it's incredibly limited or so specific it never crops up. Maybe all animals love him. Maybe he makes plants healthier just by being around him. Maybe he can turn slightly invisible. Maybe his power is just an inability to be effected by other people's powers. Can be anything.

All I want in life is Matt and Karen being ultra protective and possessive of Foggy. Something along the lines of:

Foggy getting hurt in a minor accident, Matt and Karen spending the next week plotting vengeance

Karen and Matt feeling that they're better equipped than Foggy to handle dangerous situations

SHIELD borrowing Nelson & Murdock for some reason, the whole time Matt and Karen subconsciously close rank around Foggy

BIID is a disorder that causes someone to want to be disabled. It most often causes people to request that perfectly healthy limbs be amputated and sometimes when doctors refuse, patients have been known to injure themselves in such a way that amputation becomes necessary. It can also manifest in a desire to be blind or deaf.

So, Foggy has wanted to be blind for as long as he can remember. Most likely he has never told anyone about it for fear of what they would think, but he devotes a lot of his time to research, he blindfolds himself sometimes and he maybe has learned to read Braille a bit or something like that. Then he gets to college and meets Matt and it is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to him. Only he can't say anything about it to him because he doesn't know how he'll react.

Writers choice from there, maybe meeting Matt helps to change his mind, but most likely becoming friends with such a capable blind person only spurs him on. Maybe he tells Matt and Matt reacts one way or another, maybe Matt finds out on his own becuase he finds something of Foggy's that doesn't make sense (Braille book or something?) and asks him about it..

Foggy has a literal magic healing cock. He has to apply it liberally after every night of daredeviling.

That long look that Fisk gave Matt as he left the art gallery piqued my interest. Seems like he got a bad feeling about Matt, and I found it funny that (in the show) both Fisk and Wesley ended up confronting Karen and Ben directly but didn't really bother with Matt.

So, as a slight departure from canon, I want them to decide that going after Matt - the perceived "weakest link" in the little group of annoyances - is the best choice of action. Maybe they show up at his apartment to have a little "chat" with him.

Matt has a quiet little freak-out in his head about how he should've hid his vigilante gear a little better (maybe some of the "security detail" start to be assholes by messing around with Matt's stuff), which makes it easier for him to pretend like he's freaking out because ~oh no, I'm blind and helpless and the bad men are threatening poor me, woe~

Or like, the situation starts to become overtly threatening (someone purposefully cocks a gun, or Fisk or Wesley starts leading him by the arm and they have a vice-grip that they purposefully make painful), and Matt is trying to figure out when/if it would be a good time to break out the fighting skills, because he KNOWS he's capable of fighting his way out of this but he's stymied by not wanting to reveal his identity to a whole bunch of criminals unless he's actually willing to go the distance and kill them to keep it quiet.

Basically my kink is strong people who are momentarily rendered helpless by a situation and have to reign themselves in even though their fight/flight instinct is screaming at them.

Exactly what it says. Matt gets adopted by a loving family who help him deal with/heal from all the recent emotional trauma in his young life. I'd prefer this be after Stick leaves, so Matt does get a handle on his super-senses. So Matt would be around 11? 12?

Who adopts him? I dunno. For ultimate happiness AU, perhaps it's Foggy's family somehow (maybe in this AU they're not as poor as the show implies), so the two of them grow up together. Maybe it's an unrelated family but Matt and Foggy meet at school. Maybe Matt actually makes OTHER FRIENDS growing up in a more supportive environment. Maybe he has awesome adopted siblings.

I'd be especially interested to see how/if Matt gets into crimefighting in this AU. I feel like he'd still feel the pull to use his abilities somehow. But less fueled by all his bitter emotional baggage.

Elden as mute Pollux in Hunger Games just gives me such a need for communication problems between Foggy and Matt.

I literally don't know how I came up with this, maybe it's because I want to see characters be secret hicks like myself?
Anyway, what if Karen grew up someplace like Idaho, Nevada, or Montana? Somewhere out west? Maybe that's why she knows how to shoot a gun.
Just give me some Laren trying to explain about things out West to her two New York boys.
Things like lamping, the joys of cane syrup, what an actually good national park looks like.

Something happens during a fight, maybe Matt gets hit a ton in the stomach. He starts to vomit.

And Fisk finds it super hot.

is there a prompt yet for an incredibly slutty bottom Wesley? He's obviously very good at following orders, but he has no interest in taking them from people he doesn't respect. I would love something with him being a picky, prissy, demanding bottom with really exacting standards for what he wants from someone, but who is really enthusiastic about getting screwed when they do it right.

So Brett and Foggy have canonically been enemies since they were 4, but they don't really seem like enemies at all. My kingdom for some fic about them growing up together and maybe some teenage experimentation??

The whole prompt was just going to be them watching the show (well, Foggy watching and narrating for Matt), BUT THEN IT OCCURRED TO ME: Hell's Kitchen AU. All the Daredevil characters as contestants.

Karen as the underdog of the Red Team. Matt and Foggy hitting it off (shippy or gen) on the Blue Team. Fisk is determined to be the Blue Team leader, and Wesley supports him, but Matt thinks he could do better.

Everyone is impressed by how well Matt can cook even though he's blind. Maybe Fisk (or Wesley on Fisk's behalf) tries to sabotage him and moves shit around in the kitchen???

Claire whips the Red Team into shape! Maybe Karen gets switched to the Blue Team, and her skills with scallops combined with Matt's awesome steaks and Foggy on appetizers, makes them the BEST trio.

Maybe it's time to decide who to put up for elimination, but Matt and Foggy are nowhere to be found-- because they're making out in the dorms.

So with the revelation of Matt's secret identity and abilities, Foggy knows that his hearing is extremely sensitive. During court or meetings with clients, Foggy starts whispering ridiculous things under his breath knowing that Matt can hear him in an attempt to make him lose his composure. Matt pretends to be annoyed but they both know he secretly loves up

Life gets a hard to deal with, maybe in college or something, and Matt just wants to dull his senses. He finds that weed helps and really mellows him out, so he decides to try other stuff...

Turns out, crack heightens his senses and makes everything loud and painful, and he has some sort of mental breakdown.

Maybe Foggy finds out, and Matt fesses up to his super senses?

So. Maddie's been busy with Daredevil stuff, so her and Foggy haven't had time to sleep together in a few weeks. Then, one day at work, Maddie can smell the lingering scent of pussy on Foggy's fingers. She feels a little guilty that Foggy has had to resort to masturbating to get herself off, but mostly she's just turned on.

Karen leaves for lunch. Maddie is on Foggy in a second, who doesn't understand why until Maddie points out how good she smells. Then office sex! All I request is that one of them eats the other out under their desk, someone gets covered in hickeys that they can't hide, and they say they love each other.

Bonus points if Karen comes back and just knows because they are not subtle at all

Karen and Foggy are a young married couple who move out west to a little town where a blind priest hides a past as a famous lawman and which soon begins to be terrorized by a posse of bandits led by the infamous Wilson "The Kingpin" Fisk.

Or, Matt and Foggy are a pair of bounty hunters who specialize in bringing their targets to justice alive. When Karen, a spirited recently-widowed woman with lots of land, asks for their help fending off the Fisk railroad company from her property, they reluctantly give in and end up going head-to-head with the corrupt businessman and his hired goons.

Really, just anything where Matt is a badass (but non-fatal) gunman and Foggy and/or Karen get drawn into his badass business.

I need them having rushed sex on a desk while Karen's goes on a coffee run like I need air.

+100 If whoever's on top (idc who) tries to be all dominating but fails, cue frustrated topping from the bottom
+1000 Karen comes back early and walks in on them/listens by the door (can turn into matt/foggy/karen or can just be hilariously awkward, I don't mind)

It's not just Elena, all the little old ladies and the little old men that walk into Nelson and Murdock want to set Foggy up with someone. Matt finds it funny when it's with Karen, but less so when it's some much beloved grandchild who is apparently very attractive and ever so smart.

Foggy's quickly becomes uncomfortable with the situation. Great friend that Matt is, he's perfectly fine with pretending to be involved with Foggy to stop all the matchmaking.

Pretend doesn't stay pretend for long.

+1 if at some point they end up at Father Lantom's church and Foggy proceeds to play handyman, prompting a few speculative looks that makes Matt go NO and drag Foggy off

A lot of meta and fic has seemed shocked by the fact that Matt will only sleep on silk sheets because he finds cotton uncomfortably scratchy. As someone who has the same problem (although I actually find silk scratchy, and use microfiber sheets) because of sensory processing disorder, I think it would be interesting to see Matt with SPD as well. Obviously, the majority of his 'symptoms' are the result of his enhanced senses, so author would have to decide whether SPD was a side effect of his enhanced senses or whether in the fic he'd never gained them in the first place (or whether he'd had SPD *even before* the accident!).

I'd just really like to see Matt having some of the other issues a person with SPD might have--I'd like to see him cutting all the tags out of his clothing because they scratch him, and not wearing/having to be forced to wear flannel or wool as a kid, and being an incredibly picky eater, and getting motion-sick really easily, and getting uncomfortable when people hug him or show other kind of physical affection, etc.

Another way this could be taken that I would find interesting is if enhanced-senses!Matt were misdiagnosed with SPD because he couldn't explain that his senses were actually stronger and he wasn't just hyper-sensitive.

+1000 if you include Matt being hypo-sensitive to pain as part of his SPD.

Preferably with the sex itself, but what I really want to see is Wilson struggling with all his feelings about this.

Getting so emotional he could cry every time he remembers the love of his life is expecting. Seeking reassurance from Vanessa that he's not going to completely mess up his own child like his father did. Generally not being ready for this and being an overattentive nervous wreck.

And then all the fluff ~~or sex, sex would be good~~ where Vanessa calms him down.
