That long look that Fisk gave Matt as he left the art gallery piqued my interest. Seems like he got a bad feeling about Matt, and I found it funny that (in the show) both Fisk and Wesley ended up confronting Karen and Ben directly but didn't really bother with Matt.

So, as a slight departure from canon, I want them to decide that going after Matt - the perceived "weakest link" in the little group of annoyances - is the best choice of action. Maybe they show up at his apartment to have a little "chat" with him.

Matt has a quiet little freak-out in his head about how he should've hid his vigilante gear a little better (maybe some of the "security detail" start to be assholes by messing around with Matt's stuff), which makes it easier for him to pretend like he's freaking out because ~oh no, I'm blind and helpless and the bad men are threatening poor me, woe~

Or like, the situation starts to become overtly threatening (someone purposefully cocks a gun, or Fisk or Wesley starts leading him by the arm and they have a vice-grip that they purposefully make painful), and Matt is trying to figure out when/if it would be a good time to break out the fighting skills, because he KNOWS he's capable of fighting his way out of this but he's stymied by not wanting to reveal his identity to a whole bunch of criminals unless he's actually willing to go the distance and kill them to keep it quiet.

Basically my kink is strong people who are momentarily rendered helpless by a situation and have to reign themselves in even though their fight/flight instinct is screaming at them.

Oh oh oh! I'm not the OP, but maybe Fisk doesn't believe that Matt is fully blind too and decides to test him a little. Like, takes off his glasses and takes his cane and trashes the apartment and stuff so they can watch Matt stumble around into things.

Yes. I definitely want to see Matt thrown into this kind of tricky situation where he really has to think his way out of it. Matt's a smart guy! It's a shame that his main strategy most of the time is just "punch people until something happens."

I wonder if Fisk or Wesley would even need to make their presence known though?

Like, unless they're there with the intent to kill Matt (like Fisk was with Ben or Wesley was with Karen), all they would have to do is sit back, be quiet, and observe their hired goons, or whatever, do all the threatening/beating, etc. Maybe Fisk kind of in the back of his mind recognized Matt's voice when he spoke to him at the gallery and was like "Wait... could he be....? But, he's blind......" and is, like other anon below said, testing him.

Both. Yes, both scenarios sound like something I need to read immediately.
